The Prince stood in the rubble of a huge struture over what was left of a balcony, The entire city he looked on was completely destroyed. During the end of the War with the Dragonese they left this colony to look after itself and when we arrived to conquer all we found was small resistance of what was left of the Ex-Governors Miltia.
I turn around to his 5 guards and motions his hand to order there escort, He was heading back to HQ in the Lower floors of the ruin. Only place that had not been completely destroyed by the cannon fire.
I walk down and meet with 3 captains that made up the Drukarus War Council.
"Jitrack is a wreck, we cannot rebuild it alone. This was the richest city in the Dragonese Empire, What happened?" I said in amazement
"By what we can gather from the citizens, which I admit was little. Pirates and Bandits have been raiding this City for months on end, As soon as the Dragonese left this island simply couldnt protect itself. Only 1200 miltia againts 20 times that amount, We should be lucky we have a city to rebuild"
Said one of them
Another added "We have reports of rapes and many deaths, the Dragonese records states 12 million Druk's inhabited the entire province. Now we can only find about 7 million"
I simply replied "Looks like we have to get Foreign aid to invest in this, I bet the senators back at home have united us as one by now. But the Treasury will most likely be spent on rebuilding the Eastern Coast and our own colonies before this place, What do we have to do?"
The last captain replied "Well, the city is in ruin so we will need contractors to come in and help in the rebuilding of this city. Also Bandits are still attacking and raiding many islands, We might need Foreign Troops to do Peacekeeping tasks. Our men can hold the Capital Island, We also are going to need a contractor to build a power supply since the Coal power plant has been turned into dust by the bombardment."
I turned to him "so many foreign troops could make this a delicate situation, We need to make sure our men keep a close eye on there operations. We have been weakened by this war, We dont want people taking the little we have claimed"
((OOC:Pretty much goes as this, We need foreign aid to rebuild Drukarus into a thriving city again. Phenixica spent much money in the war and will be to busy licking it's wounds to spend money on a Province filled with Phenixicans who were exiled over 1000 years ago, We need people to help rebuild the city and Power grid. Send there troops over to keep bandits away from the smaller islands, Drukarus is pretty much a Province in need of total repair. Most of the Phenixican troops are marines, the Navy controls the Isles. This is a thread of Diplomatic partnership, This is for several nations to come together and work together.))
