The Fanboyists

General Willy Johnson rolled his eyes. He couldn't believe he was having to do this again.
He was giving the order to deploy 10,000 of the paramilitary Grey Shirt units, men organized, trained, and equipped by the Fanboyist Fascist Party as a temporary police force and to fight insurgents while the Army finished crushing the last pockets of Federal resistance.
The civil war had ended three months ago, clocking in at only six months. But resisting groups still remained, so until National Troops were no longer tied down clearing those out, the job of combatting the Red Brotherhood Proletarian Army (RBPA) fell to the hastily formed Grey Shirts. Not that the Grey Shirts had a history of poor quality; they used to be the secret police, and would probably resume that assignment in a few months when the army proper took over this job. Johnson couldn't wait until then.
For a little bit of background knowledge, the problem of the Marxist organization in the form of the Red Brotherhood Proletarian Army was not new to the Fanboyist nation. During Grimmeberger's previous tenure as dictator, they RBPA had been a nearly constant irritation, up until the second to last year of his regime. Following the Appalachin campaign five years previously, they had ceased to be an effective fighting force. Or so everyone thought.
Following the three year expirament in democracy and the accompanying strife that came immedietly after, they seemed to have regained their strength.
Dealing wiht them wouldn't be such a headache if the Grey Shirts were properly equipped, either. But they weren't. Most of them had old M1 Garand's, or FN Model 1949's. A few of the luckier ones had FAL's or M14's. Really lucky men had a helmet or an old flak vest. There was a constant shortage of ammo. Johnson had constant supply shortages. It was a headache for the poor man.
OOC: Alrighty then...the stage is set...the point of this RP is going to be my poorly equipped paramilitaries trying to combat a terrorist organization, who, depending on what everyone wants to do, may or may not be getting foreign aid. I will RP the terrorists and my own forces, unless someone else wants to RP the terrorists. Aid can come in for both sides.
