The results of the latest constitutional referendum have been tallied, and it seems that the people approved the proposed new flag by a landslide of 100%. The flag, bearing the portrait of our beloved Papa, His Most Exalted and Enlightened Excellency Dr. Generalissimo J.L., President for Life of the Revolutionary People's State, Marshal of the Armed Forces, Father of the Nation, Harvester of Joy, Reaper of Prosperity, Indomitable Spirit, Invincible Warrior, Pillar of Knowledge, All-Seeing Guide, Blessing of the People, Defender of all Faiths, Paragon of Virtue, Champion of Justice, Leader of the Crusade against Communism and its Accomplices, and Vanquisher of Evil.

Papa himself did not comment on his thoughts regarding the flag, but did give the referendum his stamp of approval. "This confirms, once and for all, our revolutionary credentials," he told a press conference. "This is concrete, irrefutable proof that Magdha is the most authentically democratic state in the history of the world. My children have spoken, and I have listened."

New flags are being freely distributed beginning tomorrow, and old flags will be collected and burned.

Btw, ignore the title. J.L.'s anti-communism is limited only to Magdha itself. We generally seek to have as warm relations as possible with communist countries. :)}

Official Government Statement

I would like to congratulate the Generalissimo on the landslide victory that brought about this change of flag to represent him as the revolutionary leader of Magdha. I see the Stratocracy as a great role model for other countries, including my own, and hope to see greater relations between our two states in the future.
