I have done a lot of thigs, like skateboarding with my freinds, Going to an IB school, playing Wii with family members, going out on dates, playing Badminton and other sports with my dad, and even play NationStates! one thing I haven't done though, is play in FT, so could anyone please give me some basic rules and an RP I could join?

That depends, what type of FT do you want?

Warhammer 40k, Star Wars, Battlestar Galatica, something of your own creation, or anything that comes to your mind. As there has come to be a type of coexistence between al these various types of FT.

Well, just build ten Death Stars and watch everyone ignore you.

Build up a star civilization of your own making, read into a few other FTers posts to get ideas, and just have flat out fun doing it too. =^^= And have a good plot too, FT plots are all but essential here. Just having a bunch of planets and assets won't do much good without characters and a story to go with it all, one that makes sense to 'you'.

Using something like SW or ST is fun, but creating something all your own is fun too. Nothing wrong with borrowing an idea or aspect from some universe and merging it with something of your own making. Like a traveling civilization that lives on massive spaceship-cities but who also believe in something called the Force.

i have to agree with Gaian Ascendancy going overboard wont winn you many friends by afew keay charactures built into an intracit civilazation is the way to go even if those charactures are thread spacific or if you move favorats from thread to thread whatever works for you...

personaly if your civ works for you and you can work and understand your own civs tech and culture your set its sticking to those that more important... well that and strait up good writing

You can pretty much create whatever race you want (though the majority of people use humans or at least near-humans, I believe). Just keep in mind not to GM their abilities et al.
