With the development of the Scorpion Rifle and the Manelli Type 40 LMG by ST&W in mid 2007 further contracts were negotiated for a series of weapons including a personal weapon to be used by law enforcement professionals and a new submachine gun for military use. The Fsonian born engineer Arthur Manelli headed the project and within only a few months the first prototype weapons were completed, dubbed the Manelli Thunderbolt and and Type 42 respectively. Testing is now nearly complete and the weapons are being prepared for production by the Fson's domestic arms manufacturers. Any parties interested in the purchase of these weapons or production rights must contact the Fsonian Government for details.

Manelli Thunderbolt
The Manelli Thunderbolt was designed primarily with the needs of law enforcement agents in mind; a tough reliable weapon with sufficient power to stop a suspect in their tracks with a reasonable chance of survival. The Thunderbolt also needed to be distinctive weapon, one recognizable as a police weapon by both officers and civilians; not only is this weapon's appearance distinctive but its venting system is designed to magnify the sound of the weapon as it fires allowing the noise to carry over a long distance from which the gun has earned its name. The weapon also chambers an obscure 11.5 mm (.455 caliber) round that is extremely difficult for most individuals to get a hold of as very few firms manufacture these rounds, not only is this a precaution to keep these weapons out of the wrong hands but a cosmetic choice as well as a .455 round makes a peculiar sound as it fires.
Additional features on the Manelli Thunderbolt include glow in the dark ironsites to assist in target acquisition, built in laser targeting site and squeeze safety built into the pistol grip. The Thunderbolt is blowback operation with a 9 round magazine, it has a top ejection port that can be set to eject to the right or the left with the flick of a switch.

The 11.5 mm or .455 caliber round used by the Manelli Thunderbolt is a 265 grain soft lead round with a copper jacket, it travels at a relatively slow velocity but its mass provides a heavy punch capable of bringing a human male to the ground with ease.

Manelli Type 42
The Manelli Type 42 is a straightforward and simple SMG designed for use by the Fsonian Military. It is a basic design thats easy to manufacture and produce but this does not pervent it from being highly lethal. The Type 42's primary construction is stamped steel and wood for rugged durability, it's air cooled with a gas operated rotating bolt firing mechanism and its 8 primary piece construction makes maintenance and cleaning fast and easy; the Type 42 was designed to last. The Manelli Type 42 features horizontal loading much like the P90 that sits parallel with the barrel that holds 65 rounds of ammunition and an ambedexterous ejection port.

The Colonial Union is interested in proquiring one of these weapons for policing purposes, yet is unhappy as to the calibres the weapons come in.

We will be willing to purchase 200 testing units if you can chamber them in the 6.8mm AFP round (see the top of here (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=2246))

This may present difficulties due to the low amount of recoil present in the round, so you may consider wanting to use instead the 10.8mm AFP (on the same page)
