Tidan consists of primarily three races. The dominant is human, ancient celtic, who make up around 60% of the population and make up the leadership. The others consist of Arderial who were the original inhabitants of Tidan but today are a small remnant of their former power, and the neighboring culture of the Entar.

Before Tidan became dominated by humans it was entirely Arderial. The Avian humanoids were very isolationist and prefered not to venture far into the galaxy. They had contact with a few neighboring empires like that of The Humankind Abh who visited their world several times during history. They built several large stations and became an important link in the trade routes through their part of the galaxy. In this way they discovered much about the universe around them and the inhabitants of it without leaving their home. After the discovery of the celts and their integration into Tidani society, a disastrous plague killed most Arderials. After this holocaust the human faction of Tidan would take over the leadership role of Tidan and the Arderial Survivors have yet to recover.

Earthling Humans. Ancient Celts, taken from Earth during its iron age. They were taken from Earth to be transplanted on a suitable planet on the other side of the galaxy. No one knows who was responsible for the action or what motives they had. For unknown reasons the ship they had travelled in ceased function inside Tidani space. The Arderials rescued the celts from cryosleep and salvaged the ship. The Arderials gave them a home on their planet and have helped the celts advance technologically. Although not overly hostile, the Celts are very militaristic and much of their culture focuses on war.

After forming several colonies in the systems around Tidan they eventually expanded to meet other cultures. The first of these was the Entar. The Entar are a very ecologically sensitive race. They developed on their homeworld, Entar, and though they have advanced beyond the techonological level that should make space travel possible they never left their world. Entaran technology is unique in that it is entire biologically based. A natural ability to affect the natural environment around them led to the creation of entirely biological solutions to life's problems. The Entarans facinated Tidani explorers and after formal diplomatic contact was established, Entar and Tidan signed the Alliance of Tidan.
The Alliance of Tidan's government is ruled by the King. Member bodies of he Alliance are ruled almost entirely by the Governments chosen by their populations.
King
The King is the ruler and figurehead of the Alliance of Tidan. In the past the people have prefered to choose Kings from warlords or military heros and rarely come from lines. The current King, Kerain I, is a retired general who is very highly respected.
House of Clans
The House of Clans is a Parliament of all the clans on Tidan. They meet here to find consensus on issues, discuss matters of importance, bring forward the needs of their clans, and bring matters before the King on behalf of the planet.
Archdruid
The Archdruid is the spiritual and political leader of the Entaran people. In the Alliance he exists as the Governor of Entar and so shadows the House of Clans in governing the planet of all non-Alliance legislation.
Ti System
The Ti System contains one inhabitable planet.
Tidan (Ti IV)
Tidan is the inhabited planet in the Ti System. It is the new homeworld of the Tidani Humans and Arderials. It's ecosystems include mountain ranges, ice fields, forests, and rocky ocean cliffscapes. It is surrounded by the orbital ring Hadrian's Wall containing port facilities, defenses, shipyards, space elevators, docking bays, and warehouses.

Entar is the homeworld of the Entar civilzation. It is a lush, warm world covered by thick forests and vegitation.

No Endorse - While No Endorse has left the GFFA, Tidan still retains close ties with the Inferno. They still consider No Endorse an ally who they will defend if needed, and have allowed No Endorse freedom to use their shipyards.
Department of the Navy
The Navy is responsible for Tidan's sovereignty and defense. This national force falls under the under the authority of the King. The department is divided into four major offices: Naval Command, Future Initiatives Division, Strategic Production Division, and Eclipse.
The Navy is a priority for Tidan and receives the second most funding of all government deparments. They are kept equiped with state-of-the-art equipment and receive galaxy class training. All citizens are required to serve in the Navy for at least two years, in the branch of their choosing. If demand is too uneven the recruits will be spread around. In the event that citizens are unable to serve, they are encouraged to serve in logistics. Manditory service bolsters the Navy's ranks, enstils pride and patriotism, and teaches descipline.
Naval Command
NavCom is the central organization in charge of all Tidani military forces. It is under the direct command of the King, who focuses all aspects of the military into one unifed force.
Tidani Star Fleets
The Star Fleets are the interstellar forces of Tidan. They are responsible for space actions and interstellar transport of the Marines. They operate a variety of classes of starship as well as the static, orbital, and planetary defenses.
Tidani Marines
The Tidani Marines are the infantry forces of Tidan. Under the command of NavCom, a division of the Navy, the marines are responsible for 'ground' actions on land, under water, and in space. The Marines include many different roles and bring a wide variety of weapons and vehicles to bear against all threats.
Future Initiatives
Future Initiatives is responsible for all research and development undertaken by the Navy. Future Initiatives operates as a section of Ti-Tech Industries.
Strategic Production
Strategic Production is responsible for all manufacturing and construction by the Navy. Projects include military installations terrestrial and vacuum, military factories for army and aerial, shipyards, outposts, stations, bases, weapons, networks, and other equipment. Strategic Production operates as a section of Ti-Tech Industries.
Eclipse
Eclipse is Tidan's Intelligence Agency. Though it is still a military organization under the command of the Navy, the necessary amount of secrecy involved in its working and autonomy given to it eventually resulted in an independent and parallel department. Eclipse falls under the direct command of the King who oversee and coordinate its endeavors and objectives with the rest of the Navy. Other departments, especially the NavCom, resent Eclipse because of the regularity with which agents appear within their ranks. Eclipse's mandate is to keep the political and military leadership informed of everything going on internally and externally, perform clandestined actions of the government, and to keep the government accountable. Fanatical devotion to these goals is instilled in the service, they see themselves and the knowledge they gather as the true power of the people of Tidan.
Emerald Guard
The Emerald Guard is Tidan's secret service and special forces under Eclipse. The Emerald Guard is secretive and independent from Tidan's military and law enforcement, reporting to the King through Eclipse. They are the action wing of Eclipse responsible for government and intelligence protection, clandestined operations, and act as a military police force in matters of sovereignty and national security. They are agents of Eclipse taken from or trained as naval special forces.
Civilian Police Authority
CPA is the national police force of Tidan. The officers are put through light military training and are equipped with advanced body armor, helmets, shields, and carry both lethal and non-lethal weaponry. Their specialties include urban combat, riot control, narcotic enforcement, and combatting organized crime. CPA is charged with enforcing national law, embassy protection, emergency assistance, as well as international security efforts. Currently CPA are engaged in a war against the growing underground organized crime and drug trade.
Ti-Tech Industries
Ti-Tech Industries began as a computer company. Through competition and aquisition they became the dominant force in Tidan's Information Technology and Robotics sectors, winning many government contracts. The tech giant then bought the military division of Echo Shipyards, the primary supplier of hardware for the Navy. With success in naval arms, Ti-Tech expanded into ground based arms manufacturing. Today Ti-Tech largest supplier Tidan's home built naval, ground, and air weapon systems.
Ti-Tech won the contract to run Tidan's space program making them the primary manufacturer of space hardware for the military and government.
Later Ti-Tech was nationalized and integrated into Tidan's military through the departments of Future Initiatives and Strategic Production.

The Serpent will be replacing the Feral class destroyer as Tidan's artillery ship. As well as the standard array of weapons the Serpent has a mounted turret heavier than most ships twice its size. With the added power the Serpent is capable of doing crippling damage. Though it is as long as the cruiser, it is much thinner and requires much fewer crew.

The Anthem is a new addition to the Tidani Navy. Fitting in somewhere between the destroyer and frigate the light cruiser is fast and includes technology and systems too expensive to mass produce. Its creation is a result of the need for a command ship less vulnerable in fleet action. The large Gallant class command carriers were always a target in combat and a smaller command ship will keep attention from being focused on the fleet commanders.

Defense Systems
Flak Cannons
A system of turrets around a ship that fires explosive shells at enemy strikecraft and incoming weapons close to the ship. The shells damage nearby strikecraft, missiles, and masses with shrapnel and leave behind a cloud that disperses projected energy.
Mines
Verious types of mines are deployed in static fields and by ships. The ship dropped versions are more like large missiles lacking the propulsion system, where as defensive deployed ones are usually more complex with positioning thrusters and sensor packages.
Hyperspace Defense Field
Fields of hyperspace are projected to disrupt many forms of matter at will. On Razorback ships or larger this is performed by auxiliary generators, however on smaller ships this requires the use of the primary hyperspace generator restricting the use of the HDF and jump drives at the same time.
They operate on a simple principle, one known since the first hyperspace jump was interrupted by a natural gravity well: Matter transitioning to hyperspace without a sufficiently stabilized hyperspace field would be terminally disrupted. Thus, safeties prevent hyperdrives from engaging near natural and artificial gravity wells, and these same mechanisms pull a ship from hyperspace to prevent its destruction. Through a series of generators and focusing mechanisms, incoming missiles and kinetic rounds were sent to hyperspace. It doesn't matter what shape they were in on the other side, so long as they weren't able to damage something on this side! HDFs, while effective against any sort of physical weapon, takes a great deal of time to recharge after deflecting larger weapons.
Phase Shield
Phase shields work by phasing whatever hits it out of this continuum, making it so that projectiles that hit the shield do not hit the hull. Shields like this use up the same amount of energy regardless of how powerful the attack is, as they are continuously on. This means that the shield effectively has a time limit as to how long it can stay up, and after that it needs to be recharged, while no matter how powerful of an attack hits the shield, it will not take the shield down. Anti-shield devices, however, work fine against these shields.
Froxfire Flares
Cloak penetration and detection system. A torpedo flare armed with a froxfire warhead launches and detonates. The detonation is a luminescent reaction that lights up the surrounding space while flooding the region of space with particles. Sensors can then scan for the particles interacting with cloaked ships and pockets of space devoid of the particles indicating a cloak that protects against the particles.
Collapsed-Core Molybdenum Alloy Armor
This alloy is created from crystalline Molybdenum being put under immense stress, causing the crystalline matrix to collapse in upon itself. This makes the alloy extremely strong for its weight.
Electromagnetic Dispersion Coating
This type of armor coating helps to disperse electromagnetic waves that contact the ship reducing it's signature to many kinds of sensor packages.
Gravity Generators
The gravity generators on a ship are used to create artificial gravity, for defence, and to counteract the gravitational field of the ship to reduce its gravimetric signature.
Propulsion Systems
Meson Torch Drive
This drive uses a meson reactor to heat up the plasma exhaust high above the normal means provided by a fusion torch drive, meaning it gives off a much higher thrust per pound of fuel than the fusion torch drive. It is even more powerful than the Fusion Pulse Drive.
Cavitation Drive
This drive surrounds the ship using it with a bubble of Hyperspace, allowing the ship to stay in Normal Space while moving at faster than light speeds and making extremely quick maneuvers.
Dimensional Transition Generator
Creates a rift large enough for the ship to travel from its current dimensional plane to another including hyperspace.
Communication
Quantum Communicator
Quantum communicators are created by the bond between two separate atoms. This bond makes it so that when one quality of one atom changes, the same quality changes in the other atom. By having a few dozen of these atoms put together, a direct and instantaneous radio emerges. These quantum communicators normally connect to large hubs which connect to all of the other quantum communicators so that more than two places can communicate. These communications systems are also almost impossible to jam.
In this case crystals are used to entangle photons that are used to encode and decode the transmitted signal.
Quantum Communications Hub
This is a hub of all of the quantum communicators in the system. By going through this, instant communication to any area is possible. Unfortunately, if the hub is destroyed, the entire system will disconnect. They are usually placed on the most heavily defended ships, stations, and planets.
Power Generators
Meson Reactor
A Meson Reactor uses a form of subatomic particle, called the meson, that interacts with the strong nuclear force of atomic nuclei to break apart this force, releasing extreme amounts of energy. A Meson Sequencer device can be used to easily and cheaply create mesons using almost any matter as fuel, and almost any other matter can be used as the other portion of fuel for the mesons. This makes the Meson Reactor both efficient and very inexpensive.
Life Support
Atmosphere is produced aboard the ship by stimulating engineered bacteria into producing oxygen. All ships hulls include radiation shielding to protect the crew.
Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence is used aboard all ships to improve efficiency, reaction time, and reduce crew needed to run the ship. They are given significant control and given a vast capacity for creativity and command. Their personalities are restricted so as to make treason or dereliction of duty theoretically impossible.
Weapons
M6G Personal Defense Weapon System
The M6G Pistol is a semi-automatic, recoil-operated, magazine-fed, dual-wieldable, magnum caliber handgun. It fires 12.7mm x 40mm SAPHE (Semi-Armor Piercing High Explosive) rounds from an 8-round magazine at a velocity of 427 m/sec (1302.35 ft/sec). It has a rather low rate of fire (being only about 2 rnds/sec or 120 rnds/min) with great accuracy and range (being 50 meters or 152.5 feet). It also does not have a scope.
MA5C Individual Combat Weapon System (MAC5)
The MA5C Assault Rifle is a burst/fully automatic, air-cooled, gas-operated, magazine-fed, short to semi-long ranged weapon. The weapon houses an on-board electronics suite, including a screen indicating rounds left in the magazine and a compass. It fires 7.62mm x 51 FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) rounds automatically (750-900 Rounds/min) from a 32-round magazine at a velocity of 905 m/s (2970 f/s).
BR55HB SR Battle Rifle
The BR55HB SR Battle Rifle is a gas-operated, magazine-fed, mid-to-long range weapon capable of semi, burst, or automatic fire. Due to difficult aiming caused by fully automatic fire, both varients have been restricted to three round bursts. It fires the M634 9.5x40mm X-HP-SAP round in three round bursts from a 36 round magazine and it has a scope with a 2x magnification.
Sniper Rifle System 99D-S2 AM
It is a semi-automatic, gas-operated, magazine-fed, long-ranged weapon. It fires the 14.5x114mm APFSDS (Armor-Piercing Fin-Stabilized Discarding Sabot) rounds semi-automatically from a four round magazine. It has a 5x and 10x scope with real-time display.
M41 SSR MAV/AW (M41 Rocket Launcher) "Jackhammer"
The M41 SSR, alternatively called the "Spanker" or the "Jackhammer", is a heavy ordinance weapon. It can fire Anaconda Surface to Air Missiles or HEAT (High Explosive Anti-Tank) rockets. The launcher sports a 2x scope and can fire rockets over long distances with devastating accuracy.
When reloaded, the barrels are removed. Two preloaded barrels are then inserted back into the launcher. With this mechanism, a Marine can greatly reduce the weight he carries without throwing the weapon away.
Grindell/Galileian Nonlinear Rifle "Spartan Laser"
The M6 Spartan Laser is a shoulder-mounted direct energy weapon. It fires an extremely powerful red laser capable of destroying vehicles and infantry with one accurate strike. When the trigger is pulled, a red sighting laser is projected on-target. The Spartan Laser will then charge for three seconds before firing its powerful and destructive burst.
Gravity Hammer
The Gravity Hammer is a heavy melee combat weapon combining the ancient and advanced. The hammer does area-effect damage, harming or even killing multiple enemies at once. It also can distort gravity to some extent, repelling grenades and even vehicles with a single blow.

The suit itself is composed of a helmet, body armor, boots/gloves, and a back piece. It can deflect a small-caliber round (around 5mm, usually used in automatic rifles). They have refrigeration and heating units that mask infrared signatures. The body armor and boots/gloves are fully encased and are air tight, making them capable of use in a vacuum for about 60 minutes. The integrated helmet has encryption and communications gear, a Heads-Up Display, and thermal and motion detectors. When sealed, the unit has a hour reserve of oxygen to let the wearer survive in a vacuum.

Tactical Power Armor, refered to as TOWER, is heavy power armor deployed by Tidan. It is a variant of the MJOLNIR Mark VI heavy armor that was developed closly with the former nation of Yukatania. Because TOWER is very expensive it is not used in large numbers. TOWER is the standard armor supplied to the Special Recon Forces which is the public name to Tidan's top secret super soldier program RAVEN.
The armor is fitted with a personal encasing shield as well as an energy force shield which deploys from a module on the arm.
KEEP
Kinetic Enhanced Enforcement Power Armor, or KEEP Armor, is a blend between Tidan's Marine Body Armor and TOWER armor models. It combines the advanced underlayer of the TOWER models with an improved version of the much lighter armor of the Marine model. It is tailored for use by members of the Shield of Nav refered to as Shield Knights.
KEEP Armor has a personal shield powered by holy runes and relics which have been blessed by Nav to provide the Knights with sanctuary from harm.

Warthog

The Warthog light reconnaissance vehicle sacrifices armor for speed. It is able to move 3 men at high speed in most configurations. It is available in several different configurations to meet different mission roles. The LAAV shown here holds a gauss turret providing significant and mobile armor penetration. The LRV has a mounted chain gun to mow down soft and lightly armored targets. The LTT replaces the turret mount with a rollcage to fit up to four more men in the rear. Warthogs can also easily tow trailers to increase the number of men or supplies they can transport.

The Scorpion Main Battle Tank is a medium tank capable of traversing very difficult terrain thanks to its unique four independent tred system. It has a minimum crew of two, a driver and a gunner. A third crewman can control the anti-personnel machine gun. The main cannon is 90mm and is complimented by the 7.62mm machine gun.
Wolverine
The Wolverine is Tidan's mobile anti-air platform. The Wolverine has a two man crew. It is mounted on a tank tred frame, with twin missile pods.

The Sparrowhawk is a fast and agile gunship capable of doing heavy damage to even the most heavily armored vehicles as well as ripping through softer targets with deadly accuracy. It's primary roll has been close-air-support for groud forces and has excelled there. Created by the UNSC of Yukatania and was adopted by Tidan to replace their aging Serpent gunships.
Stormcrow Atmospheric Strike Fighter

The Stormcrow is a fast high atmosphere strike fighter used primarily for planetary precision bombing missions and air superiority. It is designed primarily for speed and stealth maximizing its survivability by avoiding combat. It carries warheads ranging from dumb kinetic to smart to atomics. They have been commonly refered to within the infantry as the angel of death.
Pelican Dropship

The Pelican is the dropship used by Tidan. It has a slightly extended passenger section with twelve seats. It also has an overhang storage area capable of carrying oversized equipment like vehicles, heavy armor, supplies, fuel pods, or increased passenger capacity. It has a 70mm chain gun under the nose, a missile pod under each wing, and a 25mm grenade launcher available at the rear of the passenger compartment.
Albatross Heavy Dropship

The Albatross Heavy Dropship is capable of holding about four times as much cargo as the Pelican dropship. It is usually used to drop vehicles and personnel en masse to a site. When dropping its cargo, 3 sides of the cargo tray open up to allow vehicles and personnel to leave the cargo tray. The Albatross is also capable of performing the roles of a mobile command post.
The Shield of Nav
The Shield of Nav started as a sect of priests who took it upon themselves to protect and administer justice amongst the people. They worship Nav the sun god of justice, healing, and prophecy. The warrior monks took on their role as defenders of the weak with great devotion and founded what would later become the dominant religious institution known as the Shield of Nav. Today the Knights of the Shield have great power and influence over Tidan but still cling to their ancient roots and vision. They were placed in command of Tidan's military during the reign of Kerain I to provide strong and moral leadership, however their power cannot be used to refuse the King's orders or hinder his actions but instead to ensure that in everything the King calls on the Armed Forces to do they will be carried out in accordance with the morals of Nav even if they seem incompatible.
The Lifewalkers
On the feral world of Entar the Entaran race developed in close communion with nature. This relationship resulted in the ability to effect the life around them and the source of life itself, water. In most of the population this only helps them control their biological technology, in some devoted members this power has reached its potential. With these individuals control of the life around them is possible and in some cases weather. The world itself around members of this order seems to smile as life flourishes and blooms in their presence giving the order its name.
