Bulgislavia
22-03-2008, 06:57
The Leadership stood on the Balcony of the Hall of the Party looking down on the massive Provoçe square. It was still covered with Thousands of citizens who had come out to see the Former Presidents Funeral Herse drive by.

A Bulgislavian Reporter who was standing on the Roadside was reporting on the Funeral with tears streaming down his face when all of a sudden an area of the crowd began screaming and began falling to thier knees. the Reporter began wailing too

"Is it true! Can I see the Comrade Presidents Herse! NO! It is! Our glorious leader is leaving us! What will happen to our great country and all of his revolutionary work!" screaming the reporter in a shaky and uncontrolled voice

The herse drove past the Hall of the Party. The crowd that was in plain view of the Herse began throwing roses to the Herse while the party stood on the Balcony saluting the Herse some with tears falling down thier faces.

Within 5 Minutes the Herse had passed the square and was continuing down the Herse's path.

The crowd then quitened down though some sections were still caught up in the Hysteria screaming and whailing. More flowers were laid at Provoçe's statue in the center of the square.

Comrade General Secretary Prekov spoke into the microphone and his voice boomed all over the square

"And so all Bulgislavians say goodbye to our great father, Leading us for over 46 years he was close and dear to us all. His revolutionary work will continue on. No one can crush the BUlgislavian spiritm, long life to the workers state!"

More party members spoke to the crowd and then filed off the Balcony where in thier own sleek and black BMW's they drove to Palace of Provoçe "Museum of Provoçe"

Meanwhile thousands of Bulgislavians were standing on both sides of the wide Boulavards Provoçe's Herse was travelling.

The Boulavards were all 4 lanes but the outer most 2 were occupied by the citizens while the central 2 were free for Provoçe's herse

They sobbed on eachothers shoulders, threw rose's and rose pettals and saluted the Herse as it drove by.

Finally the Herse came to a stop outside the Palace of Provoçe

The 500 surviving Veterans of the "Grand Victorious Liberation War" (WW2) were sitting in the front of the Museum. even thier strong lined faces were not without tears. The head leadership stood before the entrace of the Palace of Provoçe

HIs body was in an open casket and it was removed from the Herse and led into the Palace of Provoçe. While the 2nd phase of the Funeral was being prepared inside the Palace of Provoçe one of the Veterans of the Grand Victorious Liberation War stood and spoke to the crowd of over 20,000 that had gathered outside the museum.

He was an 88 yearold man who was born in 1920. He slowly hobbled over to the Microphone with a walkingstick and a guide to help him along. he was wearing a smart black suit with his chest decorated with medals
In a husky, aged voice that droned and grumbled the old veteran began speaking

"In my lifetime I have seen many thing. Depression, famines, wars but I have also seen many great things. Our nations liberation in the Grand Victorious Liberation War and the grand achievements of Comrade President Provoçe. Because of his great revolutionary work Bulgislavia survived the imperialists tricks and threats against our nation. Over 62 years of my life has been in our Communist Era and over 46 years of my life in Comrade President Provoçe's era and 88 years of my life has been in Bulgislavia..."

The old veteran continued speaking with applause thoughout his speech.

Finally The Party Leadership entered the museum in single file.

The entrace hall of the Museum had been emptied with only a glass case with Provoçe's body lying in state in the center surrounded by hundreds flowers. There was a read velvet carpet and velvet rope which led around the glass case

First was Comrade General Secretary Prekov who walked around the glass case. a film crew was capturing everything. Alia Prekov stared into the glass case next more leadership filed past some crying hysterically.

Next the veterans filed past the glass case all crying then the military generals and naval and airforce officers and commanders.
then the Olympic team would pass by followed by
The the local party leadership then senior facotry directors
Next the museum was open to regular citizens to file past.

The entire nation had extended the mourning to 2 weeks as it gave everyone a chance begin a pilgrimage to the glass case of the Comrade President.

The Funeral began at 8am and by 10pm the museum closed for the night.
The museum directors counted over 450,000 passed through the museum to view Comrade President Provoçe's body

At 10:30pm the 3rd phase of the funeral began which was a grand tourch light march on Provoçe Square where over 200,000 citizens filed past the Hall of the Party holding massive candles and they formed the letters

"Long Life to the Bulgislavian Workers Party" and "Long Rest to Comrade Provoçe" one more read "Long Life to the Workers State"

then the candles were layed all around the central statue until the entire square was lit up with candles with Provoçe statue glowing in the middle of it all.

(extract of a Western News paper on Provoçe's Death)

.....And that was the last chapter of Provoçe and his rule over Bulgislavia
46 years of Provoçe rule was over and ended in a grand funeral
the heir apparent General Secretary of the Bulgislavian Workers Party, Alia Prekov did at first to appear to follow the same stalinist mould as his predessesor though rumours are escaping the isolationist nation that Alia is more keen to change and move in a new direction. Will this mean a relaxation on rules or a continuation of the old stalinist system.....
