The Allied Independent Mediterranican Nations
The Imperial Republic of Greston moved from the region of 10,000 Islands to the region of Mediterranica last April. Since then Greston has allied many of the nations in the Mediterranica region and has two colonies, Corslack and Serstabele, in different sections of the region. The Imperial Republic has not and does not intend to join the Mediterranican Union making Greston a target to attacks unlike other nations in the region who have joined the Union. Seeking Allied Status and a set out list on certain topics the Greston/ Mediterranican Pact Documents were made. Once they failed thoughts have been thrown around and the AIMN was established for the nations not in the Union.
The purpose of this Union or Alliance is to unite the nations not already in the MU and nations also in the MU. The members of this alliance would become united under a small banner that will affect nothing in a bad way but in a good way for the nation's economy and reputation.
The AIMN Charter is made of an improved, less flawed version of the Greston/ Mediterranica Pact. Only in this case the following three documents effect the member nations equally as they do Greston. Amendments may be made to the Charter if the purposed Amendment is passed by the AIMN Council which will be established once people join. The AIMN will also accept foriegn nations into the Union only they will have a different set of rules and a charter pertaining to them.
Document 1: Land and Colonization
Section 1 Document 1
Grestonian troops are allowed to cross allied borders and participants of this pact only with a given reason and permission. If the nations the troops are crossing through feel suspicious a warrant must be made before they have the right to kick the troops out unless it is for an act of war. As well troops from other Mediterranican nations may cross through the Grestonian border as long as they abide by the nations rules. If Grestonian troops passing though another nation break the law of the nation the Grestonian Government does not take responsibility and whatever the consequence in the nations is they will suffer.
Document 2: Trade and Allied Status
Section 1 Document 2
Trade slots should always be kept open for the occasion when another Mediterranican nation would like to trade. Also if another nation in the Med is in need of a specific resource that another has extra and left over of they must trade some to the other nation so that allies do not cripple down and die because they were in need of a resource.
Section 2 Document 2
Any nation that signs this pact will automatically be considered an ally by The Imperial Republic of Greston and in the occasion of war we will try our best to aid and support your nation throughout it. If by chance the nation is allied with an enemy the nation should be ignored so as to prevent war between Mediterranican nations. You may join any alliance you wish and ally with any nation you want as long as they do not affect or harm the Mediterranican or Grestonian welfare and safe being.
Section 3 Document 2
If war is to break out between nations in the Mediterranica region the other nations should ignore it and let it wage on as long as it does not affect your own nation. This so deaths and hatred towards each other can be prevented. With only nation against nation less people can die and less harm towards the region can be done, so we won’t have mass gatherings of forces killing each other across the Med.
Document 3: In the Occurrence of War
Section 1 Document 3
If outside forces are to declare a state of war upon another nation in the Mediterranica a blockade should be set up around the defending nation so that a fellow nation doesn’t fall prey to dog piling by large enemy alliance or just nation with a much larger population. This should be allowed and used for all members and nations who sign this pact and not just MU members. Even for nations that do not sign this pact should be allowed the protection of the blockade because of the fact most of us here are allies.
Section 2 Document 3
If the even of war between two nations of the region is to occur the war should be ignored unless foreign forces are to attempt to intervene. A pass should be passed out to be nations we are giving the go to intervene. If a nation does wish to intervene they must send a message stating why they wish to come into this conflict unless they are sending peacekeepers or medical staff. If they are sending either of the two the staff must have a specific uniform different from all troops in the area with a symbol stating that they are neutral such as a red cross on a white uniform. The same symbol must be printed onto all vehicles and helicopters used by the staff. If the medical or peacekeeping staff must carry a weapon it must be a low caliber gun and only plastic safety bullets are authorized.
Section 3 Document 3
If another nation of the Med is going to war with an outside nation any other nations in the Med cannot send forces unless to aid. This is for the same reason as Section 3 of Document 2, so that other Mediterranican nations do not have quarries with each other. This is to keep our region as safe as possible and free of war or very little.
Any nation that agrees with sections 1-3 of documents 1, 2, and 3 must sign the document so that your approval is final and official. We wish that most members of the Mediterranica agree with and sign the pact.
