Belkan Conflict Resolution Talks at Holy Marsh

Belkaros

OOC- This is the thread to RP the peace talks regarding the Belkan Conflict. If you are not involved with the conflict, please do not jump in without some OOC confirmation, unless you have something interesting and important to add. (Not 'We can not stand for such blah blah blah' but something new)

Emperor Gnaeus Mundus I was led down a long and ornate hallway by the Captain who had persuaded him to stop the purge for talks to commence. They were flanked by two Centurions in full dress armor, plates and helmets to cover their grotesque bodies, sent by the Prime Minister to protect the Emperor from the large security forces being sent by other nations. The Centurions stood outside the doorway as Emperor and Captain entered. He took one of the many seats at a large table and waited for the delegates of other nations to arrive.

Hussein Chan arrived at the Marsh airport. Impressed by the Marsh infrastructure, but nonetheless he had a mission to protect his countries' well being. He was led to the capital and to a large hall. Looking around, he saw that there were two Belkaros Centurion guards at the door to the room.
He entered the room and saw Emperor Gnaeus Mundus I at the table. He took a seat near to his and gaved a forced smile.
Meanwhile, the 25 NT troopers and the two Centurion guards stood at the door.

The delegates started to arrive. Cardinal Dellion, having been to the building many times in his life, was not the first to arrive. Flanked by all twenty-seven members of STT-2 from Holy Warriors 2nd-8th, Dellion entered the hall, seeing two delegates there already. STT-2 took position with the other security teams.
STT-5, however, was in an unusual position. The meeting hall where the talks were to happen had been designed for high security. In the walls, there were ladders that were next to maintenance doors that could be found in the hallway. STT-5 had used these ladders to climb into specialized observation posts inside of the walls. Each post had been designed to protect the viewer from sight while allowing them view of the room. At each station, a single button was all that was needed to open the ports up. At that point, the team had perfect positions in terms of firing. STT-1 was outside of the building, having taken positions in case attacks came from outside of the zone that had been sealed off. STT-3 was at the airport, and STT-4 was on call. A battalion of Holy Warriors had split into two forces; the majority of them were at the airport, a company had taken postions around the block where the meeting was taking place. The Home Guard had done their job, shutting down a few blocks as the talks commenced. To some people who didn't know of the war-torn and betrayal-laden history of the Holy Marsh, this seemed excessive. All they wanted, however, was to insure themselves of security.

The Emperor returned the smile, sensing Chan's discomfrort. He turned to him and spoke, "Comrade, do not fear Belkaros. Our affairs are our own, and I have heard of your warning to my people. That took bravery, and shuch bravery is valued by the Belkan people. Regardless of our ideological differences, we do not view you as an enemy, and hopefully, a friendship can be forged after this conflict is resolved." The Emperor sat back in his chair, waiting for more delegates to arrive.

Minister of State Jonas Row, flanked by two other Urarailian diplomats on either side, strode through the corridors leading to the conference room. Arriving in the room, the Urarailian delegation entered. Spying Emperor Mundus I of Belkaros, Minister Row walked over and spoke to the Emperor. "Your Majesty, Prime Minister Altzehy sends his wishes of good fortune. He has recently had a bad bout with the flu and has been wrapped up in solidifying Urarailian control over our new Protectorate of Macum. He also hopes that peace can be found, but if not, he has given his pledge to support Belkaros until the war ends."

Row then bowed respectfully before taking his place.

The Emperor looked to Minister of State Row, saying, "Be sure to send my deepest gratitude to Prime Minister Altzehy. Your aid has been very helpful to this point. I understand completley the diffiulties of establishing a new protectorarte, and have had a few bouts with the flu. Send also my best wishes for his health."

OOC: Ok, I'm just going to cut to the chase here, Not point posting long and drawn out arrivals...

The Kraven Wehrmacht had arrived, during their flight on route to the diplomatic talks of Holy Marsh, they had been given the respect they were due, they were hurried through the various security procedures with the Kraven Reichscharfuhrer being given special treatment, they were after all an increadibly strong Military power and through their general arrogance and intimidating ways, got the respect they demanded...

one hundred and sixty Waffen KSP troopers were sent along with the Reichscharfuhrer as his personel body guard, and soon after landing in the state of Holy Marsh, they prepared for the arrival of the Holy Marsh Delegate...

Troopers lined up outside of the craft and the Reichscharfuhrer waited by the aircraft for the Holy Marsh delegate, he would escort the Reichscharfuhrer and the body guard to the talks, where The Wehrmacht could make its demands known...

Bishop Culmisan was sent to retrieve the Kraven delegate. Cardinal Dellion was busy setting up the lieelt things of the confrence as he was wont to do. He had heard from the security on the plane which, in Marsh society, doubled as flight ettendants, that the Kraven delegate had been rather arrogant the entire time. If he had been flying in for any other reason besides peace talks, Culminsan doubted that the delegate would have left the plane with his teeth intact.

He pulled up to the Kraven delegate near the airport. He was in a black limo, and was escoted by three M2A3s. The back of the M2A3s came open as Culminsan stepped out of the vehicle.

"Ahh, I see you have made it. I trust your flight went well? Use these three Bradleys to escort some of your security detail to the talks." Culminsan said.

The Holy Warriors at the airport had taken positions in the terminal and out top of buildings. Snipers and machine gunners had clear line of sights on the Kraven forces in case they tried to defile Marsh soil with the blood of the innocent or diplomatic. Out of site and near the street, LY219s of various kinds were set up and prepared to move in. As you got closer to the meeting hall, a series of two dozen checkpoints were manned. The Home Guard had this place locked tight, and in the air an AWACS as well as everal Holy Warriors helicopters were in flight. The hall itself was held tight by the various security details as well as a full company of Holy Warriors, multiple STT teams, and the Home Guard. Culminsan and Dellion assumed that there would be no trouble and Culminsan was against these overt security moves, but could see the panic behind them: This was the first time such a karge scale international meeting had taken place and security was going to make sure that if anyone violated the trust of the Holy Marsh, they and their security forces would not e going home.

Boris Shultz arrived in Holy Marsh promptly, and it seemed, as the only one without a large security force, possessing only 4 well trained members of Unit 7. He quickly then travelled to the location where the talks were occurring and waited for the rest of the diplomats to arrive.

Emperor Mundus had waited long enough. He rose and moved to the head of the table, called in the Cardinal, and spoke. "Honored diplomats," he began, "enough time has passed. We can fill in late arrivals as they come, but now, each minute we waste takes vast ammounts of money from all of our treasuries and wears further on the nerves of our forces and people. As I am sure you know, I am Emperor Gnaeus Mundus the First, ruler of Belkaros. You know full well the actions taken by my government. Our society is tired of the balast these individuals present. We wish to be free of such things as violent crime and birth defects. Our eugenics programs which have been in place for the past decade have led us towards this path, and our recent purge leads us ever closer to a nation free of these burdens. Our means of dispatching these people is effecient and relativley painless. Our disposal methods are beneficial and lucrative. The People of Belkaros support the purge with an overhwelming majority. However, the People agree that in order to prevent bloodshed, a solution must be found. Any nation willing to take these individuals as wards, laborers, test subjects or even citizens is more than welcome to do so. I hope that we can resolve this matter quickly and in a way that is beneficial to all involved." The Emperor waited for a reply.

One of the Cardinal's aides busted into the room, the sound of the doors opening echoing with great effect, and he walked quickly to the cardina's side and whispered something. He then bowed and jogged off.

"Gentlemen, you either come up with a solution in twelve hours or you'll be stuck in the nation as it heads to war against APOC...barring APOC showing sense, of course."

"Yes, we will try to resolve this quickly, however the Tel Amur Empire cannot take an unlimited amount of people, we must know how many criminals and how many of the economically insufficient need be rehabilitated" Shultz responded.

President Altair arrived late followed by several Ergeben guards that casually walked in a safe orbit around him. He entered the conference room silently, interrupting the conversation momentarily.

"I must apologize for being late, I had some business dealing with my nation's colonies in Shanestan," he said before finally taking a seat. A young Holy Martian handed him a short document of the happenings until then.

"To answer your question, Ambassador Shultz, of the 44.6 million people originally listed in the leaked Imperial Order, about 29 million remain, and about 70% of those individuals are the mentally disabled. We are still willing to sell the prisoners to a labor facility, but are morally unable to inslave the innocent." said the Emperor, "And they were not economically disabled but mentally impared beyond the hope of normalcy known to Belkan medicine."

He turned and bowed to the president of Islamijudianity, "Thank you for joining us, Mr. President. Your input will be valued as time is running dangerously short."

Shultz appeared to put his finger in his ear for a moment; shortly he removed it and responded:
"Cannibalism is legal in some parts of the Tel Amur Empire, if the involved parties do not find it wrong for the dangerous criminals to be used to feed the law abiding citizens, The Empire could take them. As far as the mentally disabled, we would be interested in using about 10000 them to test drugs, as we are trying to treat such ailments."
