Earlier today Emperor Roland Gustav announced that the Imperial Strategic Strike Forces would be detonating a series of nuclear devices in space, amounting to nearly 6,000 nuclear warheads in an attempt to remove all nuclear weapons from the Empire. Estimates as to how long this will take vary from six months to two years but the Emperor says he will remain committed to the plan.

"What troubles you so?" asked Tajana, she knew something had been bothering him for the past couple of weeks and she did not want him to "waste" his time over petty problems.
"I figure if I tell anyone outside the office, I'll tell you...but you see its not that simple..." explained the Emperor, always aware of Imperial Law and an expert at choosing when to break the laws.
"Come on, you know you can trust me..." said Tajana, who was encouraging him in others ways as well.
"Haha, I know damn well. Well the problem is the communists (his name for the nearby nation of Menvin-Gaza) have been pressuring us to destroy all our nuclear weapons and stop proliferation of nuclear weapons in the region. Field Marshal Skrum does not like the plan but many of my diplomatic relation specialists claim it is a good step towards regional peace..." explained the Emperor, obviously perplexed by the choices.
"Well, my opinion is that you destroy all the nuclear weapons, BUT keep a rather large chemical and biological deterrent in case of, well, nuclear warfare. And last week, didn't you say something about our missile defense system being capable of stopping some weapons?" questioned Tajana, as the Emperor stroked her arm.
"You're as intelligent as you are beautiful. It is a shame we cannot wed..." The emperor had taken her advice and within a week had persuaded the generals and began the program.

The Imperial Government of Afrika in full concurrence with the Senate's approval, has begun to implement a program to dismantle the vast majority of Afrika's nuclear weapons. However, a small batch is too complicated to dismantle and hence will be launched into space and detonated. The total number of weapons being dismantled or detonated amounts to 5,782 warheads. This is a direct order from the Emperor Roland Gustav with the Senate's confirmation, and the General's Legislature's approval. The Imperial Strategic Strike Force will be carrying out dismantlement and safe detonations in space, however any foreign experts would be greatly appreciated.
