Unit 323956 stepped carefully among the trees, noting all the life about her. Her creators had not endowed her with emotions, but even she could tell the woods were a tranquil, peaceful place untarnished by sentient hands. The kitsune who came here would need to be careful not to destroy the beauty with their building. The android moved deeper into the forest, where she came upon a rough tunnel. It was too large and well-made to be a construction of an animal, unless there was some type of beast she did not have logged into her databanks that could make such tunnels. Her programming urged her on and Unit 323956 began to walk down the dirt hole into darkness. She was unhindered by the pitch blackness, seeing easily with her scanners, moving like a spirit though the liquid eternity of space. The dark blue jumpsuit she wore became cold and slightly dirty from the earth as they proceeded down, down into the bowels of the planet, following the instructions in her head.

The tunnels were empty, and dark. But a tank could easily drive down the tunnel since it was very wide. A few insects, rather large, scattered when they saw her. As she continued down the tunnel, she would notice a big "door" blocking the tunnel.

Unit 323956 stopped several feet away from the door. Now she knew this was formed of sentient hands. It appeared to be steel, with no visible controls or way of accessing the area beyond. Cautiously Unit 323956 approached the door, running a single finger across it. Rust coated the appendage and dirt fell without sound to the floor. This door was old, and didn't seem to be used much.
Unless...
These bolts seemed new. They shined, or at least they did so under her scanners, while the rest of the metal was pitted and scratched. Perhaps the entry had been designed to seem old and abandoned, maybe as a trap, when actually it was a well-traveled gateway to whatever lay beyond?
After another look at the door, the android stood back and spoke in a voice that contained only slight signs of a emotionless automation:
"Is there anyone there?"

When she spoke, the door opened suddenly. She found a black spider (http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff41/838millionman/omnidroid.jpg?t=1212875128) looking at her. These were the deadliest land units of the Zillar army. Able to tear about anyone.
Before even she could consider to escape, another black spider rolled down the tunnel behind her and blocked her way.
The Zillar robot sighed, "It is not a trap."

Greal troops marched through the houses, and found hundreds of Zillar corpses in the buildings. Greal medcis checked them all out, but they were all dead.
The Ambassador frowned, as he sat back in his chair, more out of surprise than anything. He was expecting something exciting, such as a spontaneous attack by maddened Zillar. Though apparently the Zillar merely died when the city's generator's failed. Though perhaps something else was at work there? He would have to check one or two of the bodies, and during transport to wherever the Zillar would be recovering, one or two would go missing.
"What a pity... Perhaps the generators stopped circulating air to them? Then again, there are far worse ways to die than suffocation I suppose..." He then shut his eyes, sending various messages throughout the complex about what had just occurred, before opening his eyes and continuing, a few seconds later, "Well, I suppose the Zillar were not willing to surrender before such an event happened, or their communication equipment went dead. Well gentlemen, would your people want the dead for some sort of religious rites?"

Unit 323956 considered her current situation with a certain amount of detached interest. So far as she could tell the two battle machines were automatons, war droids. This meant that either the biological presence here was unwilling to reveal itself, understandably, or that whatever sentient lifeforms that lived here had died out or abandoned this planet and left these robots as sentinels against those who would seek this planet for their own use.
Such as her and her superiors.
At present her orders were to initiate First Contact Protocol before engaging in hostilities, and she could not disobey.
"Greetings. I am Unit 323956 of the Kitsune Empire of Xiscapia, First Contact and Diplomacy android. I mean no harm to you, and I mean only to establish peaceful relations with the sentients of this world."
The message was said simultaneiously yet understandably in over a thousand known galactic languages, several extragalactic languages, Common, Basic, Xiscapian and Binary. The robots should, it was reasoned, be able to understand binary.
Assuming they were equipped for it.
Assuming they were not here to dismantle her into very small pieces.
She waited patiently.

“Well, my people would want the bodies for a burning ceremony.” Said the Robots.
Senator Tram, disappointed also about no attack, waited for anything to happen. Anything. He checked his pocket computer for a few details from the Greal commanders. The Zillars were indeed all dead.

She waited patiently.
The machines understood must of the languages in the universe. One of the black spiders responded, by a screen that came out of the front of the black spider. On the screen were a series of symbols that could easily be translated into this;
“We are from the Republic of Zillar. I’m sure your superiors have heard of us.”
“Well, my people would want the bodies for a burning ceremony.” Said the Robots.
Senator Tram, disappointed also about no attack, waited for anything to happen. Anything. He checked his pocket computer for a few details from the Greal commanders. The Zillars were indeed all dead.
The Ambassador nodded, as he looked up from his seat at everyone gathered around the table. He wasn't really sure where else to take this little meeting, as he could feel the apprehension and his own sense of boredom mounting. With a few fired synapses, the rescue workers began to load the corpses into transport vehicles and take them out of the dank city to be burned, all of which was on screen. Off-screen, of course, one or two of the bodies would have gone missing, which would easily be forgivable with the current situation, especially with the chance of them having wandered off.
"Well, I suppose thats all there is to it. If your nation is interested in any sort of trade, the Zillar are more than happy to deal with us in the future. We could surely make great use out of the biologically diverse lifeforms in these star systems that you call home. The Greal are also officially welcomed to any trade agreements that seem amiable to both of our nations. Consider this colony a representative of our nation's goal of peace and goodwill among all the various races of space..."
The Ambassador gave a cold smile as he closed his eyes and nodded at his own words. The others from the Triumvirate were apparently not needed, though they would surely have to give full reports to their respective organizations. Such was the job of the faceless cogs of government, and the only benefit would be a promotion in a few decades or centuries down the road. With that thought, he turned immediately to Senator Tram.
"Trade between our three nations is bound to be amiable on all sides. Surely our esteemed guest from Greal agrees? With that said, would you like a transport back to your ship, Zillar representatives?"
-------------------------
Paradoxically enough was the growing amount of weaponry and ships being mass-produced all over the Zeres system, with the eventual goal of a complete takeover, conquest, and eventually enslavement of the race they were making peace with. Such a thing was unknown by the public at large, and the increased production was merely stated as a completely defensive maneuver on the off chance their system was ever discovered by foreign invaders. Though this in and of itself lent credibility to rumors that the Triumvirate were not as trusting with the Greal Empire as they seemed on the surface. There was an old saying in Nili with little proper context in other languages about such things, stating that new and old allies must always be watched carefully, lest they reveal ulterior motives or slothfulness in their parts of such a pact... With slothfulness bred complacency, and complacency lead to weakness or even an attempt to spy on one another.

“We are from the Republic of Zillar. I’m sure your superiors have heard of us.”
"They have," Unit 323956 nodded. "Their meeting us happened under rather unfortunate circumstances. I am here to remedy that, and possibly open the idea of kitsune colonists landing here and on the twin world. I am sure something can be worked out to benefit the peaceful coexistence between my superiors and yours. Will you take me to the Zillars, now?" she inquired.
So far so good.

"I'm afraid you will have to meet our superiors to arrange that, if you would follow me." said the screen on the robot.
The black spiders then led her down the tunnel. There was a massive gate, and it opened after scanning the black spiders and the android. It was an underground city. Millions of demon soldiers marched around, guarding the city. Then, bystanders were all staring at the new stranger.

President Rollins Dallix, the most powerful person in the Greal Empire, sat at a conference table with a group of Senators, generals, and admirals. This was another meeting on the Zillar war.
"What do we have?" asked Rollins
"The Zillars had lost, according to our count, one thousand and seven ships ever since the war started. We have lost on battleship, and a few cruisers. Nili losses are to be one capital ship, and several other smaller vessels." said one of the admirals.
"I am concerned with our new allies, the Nili. How do we know they will not suddenly take over the moons that we have colonized?"
"They may. But we have stationed the 2nd and 3rd Assault Fleets there for the time being." said Admiral Recon. (Ex- Admiral Reton)
"Good. But, our main priority is getting rid of the Zillars. What is our plan?"
"Our superfortress will ravage and destroy each Zillar planet one by one. The Zillar ships are hopeless against the ships of Nili and Greal."
"Yet they destroyed a capital ship from our fleet, and the Nili fleet." said the president, sounding a little angry now.
"Yes, that was a small setback." said one of the generals.
"Never mind that. The Klackon ought to show them who's boss."

Unit 323956 did some scanning of her own. There was a excess of soldiers in the area, outnumbering the citizens she could see. She knew they were citizens only because they weren't carrying any weapons she could discern, didn't were armor, and were staring out of windows or around corners cautiously at her. Were the troops a show of force, for her? Doubtful. More likely the remnants of a army driven here by the war that the Xiscapians had heard was going on in the bloody imperialist battle for colonies.
There were easier ways of getting what one wanted than fighting.
"Where do we go next?" she asked the screen attached to the black spider. The android estimated that if things turned hostile and the Zillars decided to neutralize her presence, she had a 68.9 percent chance of making it to the surface sufficiently intact to escape, judging by the number of soldiers, the weapons they carried, the durability of their armor, her own firepower in direct proportion to theirs, and so on.

The demon soldiers, a group of them, followed the black spiders escorting her. Civilians went back to their daily lives. She could hear the massive gate shut. The black spider’s screen said. ”We go to the office.”
The black spider led her to a building, that looked more like a fourteenth century castle, but it wasn’t. The main door had ten black spiders guarding. One of the black spiders stepped forward and communicated with the escorting black spiders through its screens.

Unit 323956 waited with all the cold patience of an automation, studying the architecture of the fortress. Perhaps this was where what passed for the city mayor here lived and worked? It would take a small army just to get from the door to here as it was...if her previous assessment had not been correct, then perhaps someone of great importance was hiding here.
Whoever or whatever was in there, Unit 323956 was about to meet them.

"Mundus save us!" shouted Admiral Solomon as the Zillar ships appeared at the border of Belkan space. Across the system, linear accelerators began hurling meteorites and asteroids at the fleet while the dozen or so Belkan ships in the area took battle formations and prepared to launch mobile suits. The fleet spread out to reduce their vulnerability from concentrated fire, and opened fire on the Zillar fleet, all beam weapons and missiles locking onto the ships that seemed to hold fighters or interceptors, as these would be the biggest threat to the mobile suits that began pouring from the ships and colonies as soon as the barrage ended.
Meanwhile, the asteroid fortress called for support from Imperial Command.

OOC- Belkan ships are powered by Minovsky reactors, thus anti-matter missiles don't work against them as well as they would against other ships, as the anti-matter containment devices fail within about 1000km of the reactors, which gets messy when using them at close range. I will however take into account their effectiveness as shrapnel in destroying ships and MS.
Four Talon Class destroyers flew to intercept the missiles, spewing escape pods behind them. Their Minovsky reactors disrupted the anti-matter warheads of the missiles and caused them to detonate prematurley, the shrapnel utterly destroying the destroyers and fourteen Rick Dias suits not quick enough to avoid the explosion. The rest of the fleet moved into position less than 1000km from the Zillar ships and opened fire, their missiles, torpedoes and beam weapons firing as fast as they could be reloaded. The MS units also swarmed in on the Zillar, their beam swords slicing armor and their bazookas and beam rifles melting hulls. The meteor barage continued, the guns trying to avoid the Belkan ships but not overly concerned with friendly fire.

Thousands of Zillar fighters suddenly came out of the Zillar ships to intercept the enemy 'fighters". They fired a massive barage of missiles at the enemy "fighters."
Meanwhile, The Zillar ships fired a massive purple beam, called the Death Ray. It was powerful enough to punch through shields, destroy ships, and devastate entire planets. Three Zillar ships concentrated their Death Rays at the largest or second largest Belkian ship.

With everything said and done, the Ambassador quietly left the meeting chamber to escort the Zillar and Tram to their collective ships. Once that was over with, and the pleasantries ceased, he made his way for the first shuttle headed for the Executioner. Upon arriving he met with High Admiral Karias as the two of them sat aboard the small ship, which was already significantly smaller than many of the larger Greal ships already in the star system, the Klackon came into view of the two of them as they stood together within the center of the Capital Ship. They were impressed, to say the least, though still needed to give harsh criticism, to placate the fact that such an abomination still managed to exist in this day and age.
"Heh, quite a big target they have there... Though I imagine if its armed large enough, or can really maneuver, it shouldn't have too much of a problem." He then turned to the Ambassador, who was rubbing his chin thoughtfully at the massive blot in space, "Your opinion, Ambassador? Would you say this show of power is for the Zillar?"
"Intimidation... Perhaps a place to launch invasion troops from. Its the most reasonable reason for having a craft of such proportions. Perhaps... I suppose they may want to keep the Zillar from doing anything aggressive against us for the time being. Though perhaps they don't trust us? Perhaps they think we have more ships than we were letting on in the previous battles? Heh heh heh... Though they may just plan on taking the colony for themselves, now that we've pushed the Zillars off of the planet."
"...Damn! Well your transportation to Zeres is ready whenever you want. I' suppose I'll send the data on this massive ship along with you, to see what Darius' advisers want us to do about this."
"Good, I'll leave immediately. Anything to get back to civilization... I could barely believe that Colonial Leader Argos was still using an antique mind link-up... Pfah!"
The general populace was more impressed, and various civilian ships were leaving the colony just to take a few pictures from a distance. They never would has suspected that foreigners would bring such a massive craft into the system, and once it was clear that the Greal did not mean any immediate hostility by the action, the civilians were allowed to go within a safe distance to take pictures and stare at the behemoth.

Catharsis, Zeres System
Darius sat in the back of his control chamber at the very heart of Catharsis' capital City, making it the center of Zeres, and by extension the center of the civilized universe. The room itself was positioned within a massive labyrinthian bunker deep below the actual Palace of Catharsis, to prevent the occasional group of assassins from getting to him. By the time the Ambassador had arrived, the Royal Guards quietly marched him through the maze-like, featureless corridors marked with sensory equipment through the massive charred doors leading to where Darius had agreed to hold the meeting.
The massive room had walls nearly fifty feet high decorated with Darius' most beloved murals and trophies, each one a tale of one of the moons conquered, or a powerful enemy dealt with. Beneath where he was seated, his twelve most loyal advisers sat, quietly and obediently doing their master's will throughout Zeres. Most of them were incapable of treasonous thought, though it was said one or two of them were merely fanatical loyal to the Enforcer of Catharsis. Almost upon entering the deafeningly quiet room, the Ambassador's body gave way, causing him to kneel obediently as he felt a familiar tingling sensation at the base of his brain.
"Foreign aliens are a dangerous element Obsidian... The fact that they would bring that thing into our colonial space almost seems to be some sort of challenge..." The masked, white-haired man said in a calm voice from the elevated seat, this body yet another body out of hundreds that he'd taken to prolong his own life, "I suppose an isolated system such as ours would not be able to stand up to them directly, especially if they have the resources to build such an intimidating hulk of weaponry. It is a shame, but we might have to go into isolation once more, if things don't turn out well... The Phoenix Protocol will have to take place. To preserve our Empire, and the trust of Zephon and Yurka, we may have to destroy the entire planet to make sure that they never find us..."
"B-but sir!!! What about the Zillar?! Surely they must be destroyed for their insolence!"
"Heh heh heh..." The Emperor turned away, as a numbing pain slowly wracked the Ambassador's body, "All of these centuries working under me have yet to calm the bloodlust and sadism hidden beneath your surface... Ezra was once the same way, though I suppose for people like the Cartherai... Change comes slowly... Hmm..."
"..." The Ambassador was silent, as the pain slowly subsided.
"Very well then! I will allow you to destroy the Zillar with the Greal Empire, to show for one last time the strength of our technology... We control the very building blocks of reality itself! Our potential with the gravitation forces is unmatched... Thus I will allow you to show the Zillar what we are made of. I will have the Conquest fitted with some of our latest armaments..."
"T-thank you Emperor Darius! I don't know what to say-"
"Though instead of the Phoenix, we shall use the Black Death Protocol. Should things turn sour, or the Greal turn treacherous, we will extinguish all signs of our presence having ever been there. Is that clear?"
"Y-yes sir."
Draconic Order
11-06-2008, 20:49
There were many setbacks in the war with the Zillar... However, within a week the reports returned a startling discovery: clear space into Zillar territory. Whoever it was that blocked the Order's expansion into the sector was gone, vanished in the blink of an eye. They had also taken a sizable portion of the natural resources and natural energy reserves of the planets in the system. One was still habitable, but the DO war effort would require an increased shipping of resources to make up for the lack withal.
The first vessels to return to this sector of space were scouting frigates. They would begin surveying the area before the main fleet arrived.

OOC- Belkan ships are designed to be worth several enemy ships in terms of firepower, durability, and general ability, so what seems here to be a 20:1 outnumbering is more like a 10/5:1 outnumbering, reduced to 3:1 with the number of mobile suits deployed.
The Belkan mobile suits were more than a match for the interceptors, and continued their attack, doing massive damage to dozens of ships and using their head vulcans and beam sabers to destroy the interceptors that got too close, a few of whom were lucky enough to send flaming Rick Dias suits into the hulls of their motherships, where their reactors detonated, frying non-Belkan electronic systems for nearly a mile radius as hyperdense particles that fueled them dispersed.
Seeing the beam charge, the Mundus capital ship charged the ship firing at it. The beam struck the starboard suit bay, tearing it clean off and substantially reducing the ship's firepower and cutting its thrust in half. The detatched bay's cannons continued firing until they ran out of power, at which point it exploded, near both a pair of mobile suits, one of which was destroyed, and a small Zillar ship.
The ships continued to close on the Zillars, switching to broadside fire as they mixed with the enemy ships, shuffling among their enemy to make large scale attacks impossible. Small turrets shot down interceptors as high velocity shells were pushed into the hulls of the Zillar ships, each containing armored Centurions with close combat weapons, most of whom survived the assault and began tearing through the crew.
The asteroid cannons began targeting the smaller ships and increased their barrage, while High Command prepared a small fleet to aid their comrades.

"Greetings." said Unit 323956 politely back in Common. She waited for a moment, then when no more words seemed forthcoming from the dark shape, spoke. "I am Unit 323956 of the Kitsune Empire of Xiscapia, an Android programmed and outfitted for First Contact and Diplomacy. The Zillar Republic recently made an attack on one of our systems, being pushed out of their own space by the imperialistic expansion of other nations. My creators realize that because of this our respective races may have gotten off to a bad start, but we are willing to "forgive and forget" as it were, and open negotiations."

The Zillar ships had enough. Their losses were twenty four ships. After another few minutes of bloody fighting, the fleet disappeared in a flash. Debris was floating everywhere. There were a few unlucky Zillar fighters that were left behind, they flew off quickly.
With everything said and done, the Ambassador quietly left the meeting chamber to escort the Zillar and Tram to their collective ships. Once that was over with, and the pleasantries ceased, he made his way for the first shuttle headed for the Executioner. Captain Bolvan was on the command bridge. Crew member after crew member were working at the bridge. the bridge itself was far larger then anything ever seen in the Greal Empire. Bolvan was back in Nova Reginix, uncomfortable on garrison duty when he was ordered to the front.
Plenty of other officers were on the bridge, directing fighters and shuttles to the large hangers. Bolvan's subordinate, Commander Zell, was arguing with a pilot.
"...don't care! Just send your squadron to the location!."
"No Commander, we will not go out there."
"I gave you an order. You will obey it! Guards!"yelled Zell at some marines,"Take him to the brig."
As the marines dragged the pilot away, Zell ignored them and turned around to see Bolvan watching him.
"Captain! Nice to see you again! How was Nova Reginix?" asked Zell
"Don't remind of that place. I hate politicians."
"I see. No one in the navy likes politicians anyway."
"True, but right now, we've got work to do." Bolvan led him to a screen, and it showed a planet."We believe this planet has the main fleet of the Zillars, which they had no committed yet."
"So, we are supposed to attack it?"
"Yes. Prepare the crew Commander."

Unit 323956 had been instructed to handle the process of going though the locals as quickly as possible so the Kitsune Empire could begin it's operations in this sector.

A single transmission was sent back, informing them that the Triumvirate had likewise been preparing ever since they'd begun producing the revamped cruisers from the Greal Empire. Likewise, their initial tests on the black spiders they'd managed to create were panning out nicely, though they made a request for another month at most, to have all of the defenses in the colonial system optimized as best as they could.
-------------------------
With that said, the Triumvirate continued their construction of defenses for the system. The entire asteroid belt was planted with hidden armaments as before, and the planet itself now appeared to have an almost visible ring around it, cluttered defensive satellites and high maintenance surveillance equipment.
To keep the Zillar from noticing anything, all of the construction for the cruisers was now being done in the Home System, and all construction of the black spiders was being done in various smaller Geo-fronts within the massive blackened city itself; all of which taking place far underground to prevent any scans from picking them up. They didn't plan on needing them for another ground assault, but they were better than having nothing. Within one of the more restricted tunnels, the facility creating what would initiate the Black Death Protocol was also being crafted. To the uninitiated, it would no doubt appear to be a top secret military testing lab of a massive size...

The Zillar survivors were sent to a detention facility in system for processing, questioning and study.

Unit 323956 had transmitted to go-ahead the moment she had received permission, and by the time they made it to the wintry surface the vessels were already landing. There was a dozen total, not large by most standards, consisting of five transports, a colony ship, two construction ships, two corvettes, and a medical ship named the Shield and a cruiser dubbed the Muri, both of which stayed in orbit. One corvette stayed in hovering as the rest landed, disgorging supplies, droids and kitsune as they went. As they watched a camp of sorts spread out from the landed colony ship: The construction ships rapidly spitting out droids, workers and equipment to make buildings, Marines establishing a perimeter, supplies being compiled into a single area. By the end of the day a large town had sprung up where there had previously been only grass and dirt. The colony ship was slowly being dismantled and cannibalized to make structures, the transports had returned to orbit, and the two corvettes, along with two fighters, four more scout ships and eight drones made fly-byes over the surface, looking for ideal areas to set up outposts or to draw up resources. Shuttles were almost constantly making runs from the orbital ships to the surface with more necessities, supplies and colonists. The two construction vessels began to build a small space station in high orbit.
Unit 323956 was sent a heavily coded transmission which contained the following:

Ten Zillar black spiders marched around the town, looking into the forest. There were unknown things in the forests that could lash out and killed anything in its path. The Black Spider could not be easily killed. The surface door opened gain, and a company of demon soldiers in their heavy suits were patrolling the area. There was something lurking in the area……

All the ships except one of the corvettes, four of the drones, two of the scouts, one of the fighters and the half dismantled colony ship had moved on to Estus, taking the same rapid approach to clearing the hot, wet jungle to make room for another colony. The corvette hovered over the center of Newport, with one Drone at each corner, the fighter and scout flying together in patrol, and Unit 323956 had landed her scout at the perimeter of the colony, at the far walled-off but unfinished end. Here there was only dirt with patches of ice, with the android standing in the middle, unhindered by the chill, a forward guard against anything that might seek to harm Newport or it's colonists. The Xiscapian Marines and heavily armored Biohazard sensed something too, and a solid perimeter defense was maintained as the colonists worked at construction. The town was growing, with more structures appearing, so the line of soldiers would move out every so often to make room for the mostly-silent droids and busy, hard-working kitsune. The air was filled with the sound of clanking, welding, voices, droids bursts of binary, and the general hum of thrusters and energy generators. While the Marines and Biohazard had their armor, the colonists wore heavy coats, parkas, snowsuits and windbreakers to protect them from the freezing winds. Fox ears poked out of hoods and hats, yellow eyes stared curiously at the "demon" soldiers and black spiders from strangely human-but-not faces, and thousands of tails wrapped around their owners in an effort to get warm. Breath hovered in the air like fog as work went on, eyes electronic and biological watching the snowy woodland forest.
Something was out there.

Black spiders that were patrolling along the town spotted something in their scanners. The black spiders legs went inside itself, and it began rolling into the forest. Later it came back with something in a cage. It was a white creature. The Black spider's legs were back out, and they held out the white creature to the Xiscapians. There was something on the screen of the Black spider. It read, "Not Dangerous."

Their eyes went from the creature to the screen and back again. For a moment nothing happened, then the Marines walked away, leaving the three colonists to scratch their heads and twist their tails.
"Whatdya think?"
"I dunno."
"Not Dangerous?"
"Well..." The others looked at the speaker, the one on the far left.
"Well," he bulled onward, "look at it. It doesn't look harmful. Makes sense, right?"
"Yeah," said the one on the right, "but don't they think we can figure that out for ourselves?"
"Maybe they think we're stupid?"
"Better that then they come out with some slavering beast about to devour us all and say, 'Not Dangerous'."
Both stared at the colonist in the middle, who seemed quite proud of this line of thought.
"Let's go back," suggested the one on the right. "Damn cold out here."
"Yeah."
Sure."
Then a large high pitch scream came from the forest, then came a rush. Trees were knocked down, and appeared, massive white creatures, one of them crushed a black spider under its foot. What was even more disturbing was the creatures were covered with armor. The black spiders rolled off back to the town. Demon soldiers took their positions.

"Oh shit!" came the scream of one of the colonists as all three hit the dirt, scrambling back up to run for their lives. The Marine Major in charge swung his hand in a scything motion towards the huge creatures. "Fire at will!" Dozens of rifles whined as superheated blue-white bolts of energy streaked though the air to pelt the creatures in a storm of fire, supplemented by grenades and the occasional plasma RPG shot. Instantly the fighter made a strafing run, laser cannons cutting up the ground and raking over the things as it made it's fly-bye, followed by the Drones that made for head-shots with their own cannons. The corvette began to bomb the giant animals with missiles, shooting railguns, blaster turrets and cannons at them as the scouts dropped bombs of medium strength onto the white monsters. In all enough force was being sent at them to level a large building in less than a minute. If these beasts didn't succumb to this, an orbital strike would have to be initiated. Unit 323956 banked her patrol sharply as she passed the targets, watching as he explosives made direct hits.

The one of the monsters went down and exploded, sending pieces of meat everywhere. Blood poured onto the ground, making it a small lake. The other monsters also tried to crush the Xiscapians, but they were finally overwhelmed, all that was left of them were pieces of giant meat everywhere. Then came the scavengers. Thousands of hand sized bugs came to eat the flesh. If that wasn’t enough, small cat sized black creatures were taking flesh off the dead monsters and running off into the forest.

A single ship emerged out of hyperspace near a planet. The Lieutenant General Tom Gastfield of the Terra Novian Fleet. The ship Orion was a TN-X34 Battlecruiser class, the only ship in its class. It was a magnificent piece of vessel. State of the art weaponry and shield. Propulsion was a sublight engine and powerful hyper-drive that had been uncovered in an lost ancient desert.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tom Gastfield couldn't believe his eyes. After months of searching for other celestial bodies with life he had found one. But it didn't look promising. The planet already showed heavy infrastructure. He had hoped for a lush planet that was uninhabited.
"Sir,We are picking up multiple energy signatures from the surface." the radar operator said.
"Sir, We are detecting....43 missiles sir...looks like ICBMs. Bearing 256 100km" he said nervously.
Gastfield looked at his gunner and gave the signal "All hands on deck. We under attack, Man your stations!".
"Power up the shield. Divert all power to shield and weaponry.".
"Yes sir" Gunner replied.
"45km.....35km....25km".
"Lock on nearest targets. Fire Bay 1 and 2" Gastfield shouted.
"Yes sir" Gunner replied.
The missile bays opened and 2 Defender MIRV launcher towards the ICBMs.
"5 seconds till separation....s..s...sir...THE ICBMs JUST LAUNCHED MULTIPLE MISSILES ITS MIRVs SIR!".
As the incoming missiles separated so did the defender ones. A hail of missiles flew into eachother making gigantic explosions.
"FIRE ALL RAILGUNS" Gastfield shouted
The massive railguns fires an enormous salvo towards the remaining missiles, that destroyed missiles as they get locked on.
"SIR WE AREN'T GONNA MAKE IT!!!" Radar yelled.
"DIVERT ALL POWER TO SHIELD AND EMBRACE FOR IMPACT!!" Gastfield yelled in the comm.
As the missiles hit the entire ship disappeared in a gigantic explosion.
Inside the ship crew flew everywhere across the ship and energy circuits overloaded. The missiles explosions was so great that the ship had flung several hundred kilometers away.
A few circuits overloaded at the command bridge as the bridge crew went into their respective position.
"I want a Status report now!" Shouted Gastfield in anger.
"Sir..It went through the shield...looks like our shield took the most beating and the rest took the reactive armor sir..though we have consideral hull damage in section 5-F."
"Can we fly?" Asked Gastfield.
"As it looks now sir..No. We are sitting ducks. The EMP knocked out most of our equipment,it will take 2 hours to get the power back.
"Roger that. What about weapons?" Said Gastfield.
"Negative,weapons are out"
"SO YOUR TELLING ME THEY CAN SEND MORE OF THOSE AND WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING?!?!" Gastfield shouted in a rage.
"I...I...I am sorry sir"
Now Gastfield was enraged,He was furious why these people had just attacked him without warning.
"Can you send a distress call?" Said Gastfield trying to breath through his anger.
"Yes sir."
...Distress Beacon Activated.
"What now sir??"
"We wait." replied Gastfield

The huge creatures vanquished, the kitsune were content to sit back and allow the scavengers to take their fill, interrupting them only to move part of a blasted carcass off the cleared plot of land to make room for more buildings. The base returned to it's normal working status, but the defenders were even more watchful now that they knew dangerous beings were around. Unit 323956 received word shortly afterword that Estus colony had been secured and was now defended sufficiently, and orders came from the resident Rear Admiral for her to get underway with exploration of the next system. Boarding her scout craft, the kitsune android left the colonies, Zillars, ships and steaming corpses of the beasts behind as she entered hyperspace.
Elsewhere...
The scout emerged into the frozen expanse of space, prepared to begin her scans, when her sensors detected a vessel only two lightyears away. It appeared to be drifting without control, and once magnified battle damage could be seen scarring the hull. Further readings indicated that their sublight engines had been disabled by weapons fire, and the lack of target-lock signatures pointed to the defenses being offline. In any case, the little scout couldn't hope to take on anything larger than a gunboat, unless it got a chance to plant a tactical nuke on the side of a capital...which was unlikely in most situations, considering how closely most races protected their ship's hulls.
In any case, a distress call was being issued, a standard S.O.S type that was the norm for space-going military craft. Unit 323956 edged her scout to half a lightyear in distance and sent a message in hopes that their communications were still online. Otherwise she would have to board the ship herself, and they might not take kindly to that...
Your distress call has been picked up. I am an android from the Kitsune Empire of Xiscapia, I come with peaceful intentions. If you can respond, do so in any way you can. I seek permission to board your ship and assist in repairs.
Now she waited with the same emotionless, infinite patience she did for all things.

Gastfield heard the message come through. He couldn't believe he was being hailed by an android.
"An android you say?" said Gastfield suprised.
"Yes sir...thats what it said." replied the comm officer.
"Open the channel" Gastfield commanded
*radio cracks*" This is General Tom Gastfield of The Terra Novian Fleet. You have permission to dock. Proceed to docking bay 1."
"I can't believe I just spoke to an machine...." Gastfield while he sighed.
"S...Sir...the channel is still open"
"FOR GOD SAKE LIEUTENANT SHUT IT OFF" Gastfield yelled in anger
Now Gastfield waited for the incoming vessel that was about to dock with the Orion

Later, the scavengers had their fill, and left. Zillar demons cleaned the bones away and put in a bag. A few small cat sized black creatures entered the town, looking for scraps of food. These creatures welcomed civilization to the planet. Bugs roamed around for anymore remains. Demon soldiers actually shoot these bugs down, and threw them into their packs. The forest was alive with noises again.

"This is General Tom Gastfield of The Terra Novian Fleet. You have permission to dock. Proceed to docking bay 1."
Affirmative, General. Docking now.
The scout twisted in a spiral down alongside the great metal wall that was the hull of the cruiser, coming to docking bay one. Unit 323956 maneuvered the scout inside, shields and weapons turned offline, and settled easily onto the deck. She popped the cockpit and emerged into open air for the first time in about half a day, rising up and stepping onto the side of the Xiscapian craft, silently dropping about five feet to the deck of the Orion.
Unit 323956 (http://larryakmcdowell.deviantart.com/art/Chachamaru-70591322) had been manufactured with two specific aims in mind: To show the viewer clearly what a kitsune looked like, but to also demonstrate that this was an android. She had two rust-colored, life-sized fox ears sprouting out of the top of her head, known as "top ears" to distinguish them from the rather more human ones where one would expect them to be. These top ears were the main audio receptors on a biological Xiscapian, providing them with a keener sense of hearing than a human, though Unit 323956 had many more hidden droid appendages that did the same, only better. A slight addition was what appeared to be twin white "fins" ahead of the fox ears, which were actually transmitters and not found on your average kitsune. The android's eyes were yellow and slitted, like a cat's, and artificially grown in her mouth were sharp, pointy teeth, a carnivore's obviously made for tearing though muscle and flesh to rip meat from bone. Aside from her green hair, the most obvious feature was the plumy, orange fox tail, almost disproportionately large, coming out though her suit just above her rear to extend behind her in a silken burst.
Despite all this, there was something about the android that gave most biologicals not familiar with them the shivers. The eyes were dead and lifeless and the stance and general motion, while smooth and not jerky, seemed almost too polished, an inhuman grace. When she spoke her voice was not cold, as that would have implied emotion, but expressionless and empty, without the accent of emotion. Unit 323956 wore a black jumpsuit now, and though the form it revealed seemed attractive, her skin was hardened plastic, hair and fur realistic but synthetic. A white katana hung at her side, along with a holstered service laser pistol and a combat knife was sheathed in her left boot.
Unit 323956 waited. She seemed to be doing a lot of that, but she always was. Droids had infinite patience, combined with the efficiency that could be deadly and entirely without ethics or mercy, gave her a eerie stillness, without fidgeting or the usual flickers of life one saw in biologicals.

In Xiscapian space...
An unarmed Belkan corvette slipped back into reality just inside Xiscapian space and sent a message to all nearby craft:
"Greetings Xenos of the Kitsune Empire. This is Legatus Jenna Rothan of the Imperium of Belkaros, and I come in peace. Though our two nations would not usually be allies, one of our commanders speaks highly of your forces and your people's dedication to honor. In the interest of intergalactic peace and international co-operation, I would like to extend a hand of greetings to you."
Draconic Order
19-06-2008, 04:56
The first wave of Draconic Order ships had established themselves in the Zillar Sector. A system that once was under the control of alien species was now under Dominion control. Scouts were sent all over to ascertain the current situation in this area of space. One group found another Zillar outpost, attacking other alien species.
The frigate Order One, a modified carrier, entered the system which contained a damaged Terra Novian vessel. A squadron of interceptors were launched as another wave of missiles began to appear from the surface of the planet. Long range flak cannons from Order One and her fightercraft shot down the ordinance, but took no other action. They weren't equipped to deal with a Zillar base.

The Klackon was outfitted and ready for battle. It spent days at the moon, adding more and more weapons. Capable of destroying entire planets. The two million crew members, marines, and pilots were ready for battle now. More crystals was added to the Klackon because there was little chance of being refueled during battle.

Major Rhellos sent a message to the ambassador requesting that he could meet him one last time before Rhellos headed onto the Klackon
The Triumvirate had prepared a sizable attack force back in Zeres, completely obscured from the sight of any foreign envoys. Likewise, a vast amount of black spiders were created on the Colony. Every night for the entire week leading up to the invasion, large colony ships would deposit a few hundred thousand people, though the colonists were quickly being replaced on the way back with the blackened spider robots, to be fitted upon the various ships prepared for them.
-------------------------------
Prior to leaving, the Ambassador met Rhellos above ground before he went to his ship, with faceless mechanized guards carrying what appeared to be his belongings. The Ambassador's work was apparently finished here, and he was dressed in an entirely black suit, complete with a visor, apparently meaning that the man planned on flying to the Judicator on his own.
"Yes, Major Rhellos?"

The Klackon was ready. It waited for its last few commanders. Senator Tram decided to join the superfortress and watched how it fought. Greal black spiders were also added. The coordinates of the planet they were attacking were sent to the Nili ships. Shuttles carrying Greal troop[s that recently served on the Nili colony where heading to the superfortress.
------------------
"Just wanted to say good luck to your forces. We're going to need it." said Rhellos, who feared that one day, this ambassador may be his enemy. Rhellos however respected the ambassador and hoped that a war with Nili would never come.

As the deadline approached, the military ships around the colony seemed to slowly shrink militarily as the deadline began to approach, as what was bound to happen during times of peace. They were all being sent to the Triumvirate, to be amassed in the numerous Armadas and ranks which were being formed for the coming invasion. Their plan was to gate in as soon as the initial battle started between Greal and the Zillar, to catch them off guard. The entire forces of Darius and Zephon were preparing for battle, as the black and white ships waited patiently for their chance to begin the attack.

"Hmm... Don't you think bringing the space behemoth out here was a bit much? Surprise is the greatest weapon any soldier can have..." The Ambassador said with a cold, emotionless grin as, for almost a second, something seemed to quickly squirm beneath the skin of his face, "You are a good soldier, Rhellos. If you were born a Cartherai, perhaps we may have become good friends, or at least you would have been able to better see my true position on this..."
There was a brief pause as the two robotic guards suddenly began to walk away, as a large white podship was brought out, with a single seat, apparently for the Ambassador. He turned and slowly walked towards it, but stopped as the doors open, laughing coldly for some reason.
"Days become weeks, weeks become months... All the way up to the point where centuries become... Well anyways Rhellos, whether or not the Triumvirate win or lose is unimportant to me. All I want are results or the opportunity to return to Zeres, the place of my origins. To be honest, I don't even care if this entire colony was wiped out... Its just another rock to me, a way for my people to spread out and grow even more distant from one another... Its inconsequential... I don't even care if you live or die, Rhellos, though I do consider you something akin to a friend after all this... So here."
The Ambassador reached into his pocket and eventually pulled out what appeared to be a strange blue bladed weapon the size of a knife, flinging it into the ground at the Major's feet. It was a combination of Zillar and Triumvirate technology, a prototype, but the craftsmanship shown on it meant that it wasn't made for a mere common soldier.
"Our researchers made it, but if it ever comes down to it, I'll just tear someone apart with my own hands... Heh heh heh... I wonder if you could understand that feeling? Its hard to get the opportunity nowadays to execute someone with my own two hands, and feel their lives just oozing out of their... Haha! Well anyways, goodbye Major Rhellos. Perhaps in another few decades or centuries we will meet again?"
With that, the strange Ambassador climbed into the cockpit of the large white pod as his belongings were loaded into compartments on the sides. Strapped in, the Ambassador did a single wave of his hand, before lowering the visor over his face.

Then Rhellos rushed to the shuttle that was heading to the the Klackon. Would the Zillar surely die in the next battles, or would they repulse Greal and Nili in a big disaster?
Rhellos had all these questions on his mind as the shuttle took off and headed for the superfortress. After it landed safely at the hangers, and hangers were closed.
There was a last minute change to the plans, ordered by Senator Tram, which annoyed the commanders. He ordered the 3rd and fourth assault fleets to accompany the superfortress. The attack was delayed by ten minutes, then.
-----------------
Captain Bolvan, a little annoyed by the change in plan looked at the screen, the vast fleets of the Greal and Nili. He was on the command bridge, with Tram and Major Rhellos behind him. Commander Wells ran up the steps and approached Bolvan.
"Yes?" asked Bolvan
"The fleets are ready for the jump."
"Warn the crews. We're about to jump."
Ten minutes later....
Everyone was silent in the command bridge. The Klackon was about to see her first major battle. Then a officer broke the silence.
"Jumping.....now!"
The Klackon and the two Greal fleets disappeared in a blue flash.

The Triumvirate's Armada waited quietly in the Zeres system for a signal from the sixty cruisers which remained hovering around the system. They would only move at the start of the battle, and would allow the most likely far larger Greal Empire to make the first move. They were confident in their own ability to survive, but should anything go wrong, there were precautions set force to prevent any captives from being taken or any data about the home system from possibly being retrieved, whether from their allies in Greal or the Zillar themselves.

They were confident in their own ability to survive, but should anything go wrong, there were precautions set force to prevent any captives from being taken or any data about the home system from possibly being retrieved, whether from their allies in Greal or the Zillar themselves.
The Greal fleet arrived at the location. The planet was not covered in cities, but the Greal command expected the cities to be underground. Captain Bolvan was a little nervous, first, he did not see the enemy, second, the Nili were nowhere in sight.
Then, the Zillar fleet appeared, it was 'hiding" behind the planet itself. Computers counted, over a thousand ships. Bolvan wondered how did they get so many ships that fast? No time to worry now. The massive Zillar armada approached the Greal ships, which were outnumbered by probably twenty to one.
The Klackon made the first move. It unleashed the new secret weapon the Greal had, the Mauler Superweapon. It was invented by a small group of scientists who would smile today. The Weapon was fired, and a massive beam came out of the Klackon and punched through various Zillar shields, then the Zillar ship was cut in half. The crew cheered.
Next, the superfortress released ten thousand fighters, and ten thousand Drone fighters from its hangers. The Zillar fighters at least had a numerical advantage, they numbered thirty thousand. The fighters fought bitterly over the area. The battle continued.
Meanwhile, Five Greal battleships formed a battle line, and fire simultaneously at a Zillar ship far bigger then them. The Megabolt cannons proved effective against the enemy. More fighters were flying from the Greal carriers. The Zillar fighters were not outnumbered, and being slaughtered.
The superfortress was struck by two antimatter missiles which tore open a hanger, and killed hundreds of crew. The explosion was contained by brave acts of the remaining survivors in the hanger. Bolvan now ordered his several thousand Megabolt cannons to fire. It blasted apart dozens of Zillar ships. The Zillars had to do something.
The Greal fleets suffered their first loss. A cruiser, The President was destroyed by Zillar anti-matter missiles, which were inflicting heavy damage on the Greal ships. The Superfortress was now within the range to bombard the planet, but it did not.
Hell fire torpedoes were being fired at Zillar ships, which were becoming more and more devastated by the Greal weapons. The Zillars then fired a massive blast of thirty thousand antimatter missiles at the superfortress. Bolvan ordered every Anti-Ship gun to fire at the antimatter missiles.
Half the anti-matter missiles survived and flew toward the superfortress, its survival looked bleak, but then a carrier, the Shredder Flew in and took up the brunt of the missiles, which the carrier was nearly destroyed. It was moved out of the battle, guarded by battleships.
The Antimatter missiles cut a massive hole in the east end of the ship, but the fires were contained, and the missiles were finally stopped. The Superfortress then fired another beam of the Mauler Superweapon at two Zillar ships, which were cut apart by the blast.
Where were the Nili ships?

The few cruisers which watched patiently nearby waited for the first salvo to be fired from the Greal forces, as a small blue glowing orb was suddenly ejecting out the back of one of the vessels, before immediately vanishing, as if it had never even been there. With their message sent, along with the battle information, it was finally time for the Triumvirate to enter the battle. Fortunately for them, the Zillar were already softened up by the Greal forces, giving them a sleight edge in the battle between the two massive militaries.
Within less than a minute an area far off to the side of the Zillar's space suddenly vanished, as a black blot in the stars suddenly appeared, along with a massive distortion of gravity as the Nili Armada entered the system. However, before the ships entered the system, a mass of Singularity and Anti-matter missiles appeared immediately, their targets having already been decided by the small number of Cruisers hiding within the Greal ranks. There were nearly two thousand missiles, five hundred of them being singularity missiles, all fired from various emplacements from Zeres. They were all targeting the largest ships which were furthest from the Greal, in the hopes of scattering their forces to make things easier.
As the rift in space remained open, the Triumvirate's fleet finally made an actual appearance, as the 15 kilometer long Conquest, the largest actual ship in the Triumvirate's arsenal, made its appearance alongside the reconstructed Black Wind(With a large mask insignia on the side), and the Executioner, along with four Harmony Class ships, four hundred more scattered Cruisers, six colony ships, and four large Silver Orbs floating along the mass... The Triumvirate had made their showing, and were ready to prove their value as an ally and partner in war by wiping the Zillar forces out as violently as possible!(With the help of the Greal's massive distraction and previous casualties, of course)
As soon as they entered the system and the missiles either hit their targets or were destroyed, the three remaining Triumvirate Capital Ships within their Space Fleet aimed their Graviton Cannons for the largest congestion of of enemy ships and fired, as fifteen pinpoint beams of light appeared to suck any Zillar ships nearby into the light, crushing them. Along with this was a barrage of all of the cruiser's megabolt cannons firing almost randomly into the center of the Zillar aiming for the largest ships possible.
As the attack went on, the mass of fighters and pod ships slowly began to appear around around the Colossus Class ships, as the thousands of small white dots launched themselves headfirst across the gap in space to intercept their hated enemy. The Thanatos and Silver Orbs likewise released their few pods, though they were merely drops in the bucket to the ensuing swarm, dwarfed by both sides' own forces(Nearly 8000 pod ships at total, along with 2400 Manned Fighters, though it would take awhile for all of the smallest ships to be released into battle).

Zillar ships suddenly appeared in the system, These were the new Catcher class. They were better built then the previous Zillar ships, and they approached the DO ships.((Can you give me information on the Catcher class? Like a link or something. Also, how many ships are we talking about, the only DO ship in the system is Order One.))
Order One sprang into action upon the detection of the Zillar vessels entering the system. The modified carrier only had enough room for a single squadron of strikecraft. The three wings of Athear interceptors were its only line of defense, as most of its weapon systems, including its beam cannons, had to be removed in order to carry the facilities for its fightercraft. DO interceptors weren't built to take on anything larger than a frigate, so these new Zillar vessels could present a problem.
Besides a small armament of flak cannons, Order One had a missile battery. Two torpedoes were launched toward the lead Zillar warship. Their ion trails burned a bluish-green color across the void.

As it were the Belkan craft entered the system relatively unopposed. Only a preliminary string of sensors and scanners, generally long-range independent units, had been scattered throughout the system to warn the kitsune clustered around the twin planets of incoming vessels. The message was received and two Shuriken class fighters made a fly-by of the corvette, to verify they were who they said they wore, but mostly as a display of showing off. They banked around the ship and tore away back across space to the planets, and as the blue-white glare of their thrusters receded across the depths of space the corvette would receive a message:
Acknowledged and greetings to you, citizens of Belkaros. We are delighted you are opening relations with us. Using this opportunity as a launching point for diplomacy, we can send an ambassador out to your ship, or you can come to us. Whichever you would choose. We eagerly await your reply.
The kitsune were a polite people, and this message's flowery speech reflected this, but to mistake such for weakness or stupidity would not be wise. The Zillars could attest to this.

The corvette followed the fighters to a landing area, and Legatus Jenna Rothan stepped from the craft, unguarded, unarmed, a symbol of the Belkan's openness to peace and desire to create equal relations with the kitune, something rare for the strong-armed and proud Belkans. Rothan wore a simple kimono-like garment, scarlet with gold and purple trim, bearing a Belkan crest on her breast. In her arms she carried a slender velvet case, and waited to be greeted by her hosts.

The Zillar's center was shattered by the combined attacks. Two, super-destroyer sized Zillar ships were destroyed and debris floating around space. "What the hell is going on.." Shouted Gastfield in anger
"Sir...Primary systems are now back online." said the Maintenance Officer.
"Roger that...Set the Sublight engine to max and get us out of here. The planet might fire more missiles soon or the fleet maybe will greet us and I don't want to be here when that happens."
As he said the word,The radar started to spew out dots on it,until the radar was covered in green.
"Sir...We go.....oh my god...." Said the radar operator and gaped
"WHAT!" He said furious
"Our radar sir,Its totally green.....I've never seen this many before..."
"WELL WHAT IS IT" Said gastfield while he felt he was loosing is sanity.
On the planets surface you now saw literally thousands of missiles launching. The planet was nearly covered in white smoke. It would be unwise to stay.
"Sir...If those missiles are all MIRVs we are talking about a hundred thousand of them.."
"Sir. You see that thing that is coming towards us?"
"Yes..."
"We can't outrun that"
"Are you telling me it goes faster then our sublight engine?"
"Yes sir..." replied the radar operator
"Do we got hyper-drive capability running?"
"Yes sir, Though it only lasts for 4 seconds. It should jump a few hundreds of light years. But we have no idea where we end up."
"Well do it,I ain't staying for this Barbeque." Ordered General Gastfield.
As the Order One just cloaked the Terra Novian ship opened up an hyper-space windows and disappeared into the darkness of space

A quite large Zillar fleet of three hundred ships appeared near in the Xiscapian colony. The ships were here to be repaired by the Zillars. Zillar fighter sized ships took off and flew toward the battle damaged fleet. If the Xiscapians were watching, they could see that Zillars are very good at repairing ships.
The Zillar's center was shattered by the combined attacks. Two, super-destroyer sized Zillar ships were destroyed and debris floating around space. The Triumvirate Armada immediately began to unleash the full force of their weaker anti-missile laser batteries at the mass of missiles heading towards them, as the pods quickly synchronized their movements between the thousands of beams of intense light to help deal with the mess in front of them. After the dust had settled, roughly seven hundred pod ships were lost, along with five of the cruisers, and another dozen were too badly damaged to continue onward for the time being.
With this out of the way, the remaining ships fired one last massive assault against any surviving Zillar vessels; unleashing the full force of their newly acquired megabolt cannons on the scattered fleet, as the few thousand pod ships and fighters followed closely behind, each of the fighters firing off a single singularity missile of their own before engaging in fighter combat. The pod ships merely swerved around mechanically, acting as one in a vast maze of laser-fire to take out any weapons' systems.

"True, either of us could have taken care of the Zillar on our own... Though with a larger force we greatly reduce our own risk of casualties. Haha, they seem to be quite well-versed with creating missiles. To her guest, Rothan presented the slender parcel under her arm. The velvet wrappings revealed an ornate katana like blade, its golden guard and ruby incrusted hilt glistening in the room's light. The ebony sheath shone like glass as the kitsune took the blade. "A gift from one empire to another", said Rothan as she presented the weapon with a bow.

The Zillar fleet did not go unnoticed, and they were easily recognized as the same style of ships that attacked the Xiscapian Wuin System. With the Estus colony still under construction most of the ships were at the second of the twin planets, patrolling, sending down small craft or offloading equipment. Therefore most of the Xiscapian vessels were outside the line of sight of the Zillar fleet, but due to the angle, the kitsune still had a good shot of them. They offered no assistance and expected no requests. They had made their offer, and what they had stated was as far as they would go.
Command Center...
As conference rooms go this one was not especially beautiful: The floor was tile marble, polished black, and the walls were a light gray and sloped inward, creating a sort of bowl around the long wooden meeting table with various symbols carved into the sides. Soft lights illuminated but did not glare from the ceiling, and in the middle of the table could be seen squat, currently dark holoprojector.
"A gift from one empire to another"
Tiri accepted the sword, grasping it in both hands, admiring the sheath and hilt before turning to critically examine the blade. She was not sure what the metal was (Xiscapians use cortosis in forging their own blades) but a quick test would suffice as to it's worthiness and craftsmanship. Calling in a servant, she was presented with a block of wood half a foot thick, freshly cut from the trees outside. Staring at it, Tiri lifted the sword and brought the blade down in a swift, powerful stroke. The wood was cut into perfect halves, and she proclaimed the blade to be as good as the rest of the sword. Sheathing it, Tiri placed the sword on her belt next to her katana, gesturing for her guest to sit. "Well thought-out and executed, Ambassador Rothan," she said in a somewhat accented voice. Common had not been the Ambassador's first language, and though it now came to her as a second nature, the Xiscapian accent, sounding like that of a Japanese or Korean accent, remained. The servant approached, wood block gone, bowing low before procuring a handsome silver box, inlaid with emeralds, to the Belkan Ambassador. Inside was a chain necklace made of silver with a single large sapphire dangling inside a sort of shaped silver cage. Beside this was a golden ring, sporting a small but extremely high quality ruby as the center stone, ringed by tiny diamonds. "Our own gift to you." said Tiri with a smile. Xiscapia's main exports came from it's deep, rich mines of jewels, precious metals and workable steel and cortosis. "Would you like anything to eat or drink before we begin?" inquired Tiri as the servant waited for orders.

According to my sensors your engines have all but burned out, your communications are offline, your life support is running of an emergency supply of power, your hyper drive has been jettisoned and detonated, a significant portion of your hull is too damaged to take weapons fire, and your nuclear reactor will go critical in approximately three minutes and forty-eight seconds. I suggest immediate evacuation of all crew, or you have a zero percent change of surviving the melt down and subsequent destruction of your ship." She opened a direct line of communication with General Gastfield, unhindered by the EMP blast which had knocked out the Orion's transmitters. Measures had been taken to make sure a little thing like an EMP blast didn't take out an android. The General would see nothing, but Unit 323956 had found the bridge easily enough, and her voice suddenly was heard there, instead of in hanger one.
"General, this is the Xiscapian android. We do not have much time; Your nuclear reactor will melt down in less than three and a half minutes, and if anyone is still on board they will be killed when it does. There is a Xiscapian Cruiser nearby that can transport you and your crew to safety, but we must have your permission to do so."
Only a dozen or so kilometers away from the Orion a Cruiser (http://www.atddm.com/tebc.jpg) appeared. At 5,000 meters in length it was larger than even a normal Xiscapian Battleship, but that was because it was not Xiscapian. No, this was a Tanaran CBC Mark II
Long-range Heavy Cruiser, and using it's DeSitter Translation Drive (DTD) it had arrived at this point in space far faster than any Xiscapian hyper drive equipped ship would have. Nevertheless, though it was Tanaran, it was owned by the Xiscapians, having been gifted to them, and fell under the command of a kitsune Captain. Knowing (because of Unit 323956) that the Orion had no working communications, all they could do was wait for the android's signal. In the meantime they sent a message to the not-so-far-off Draconic Order fleet:
We have come only to rescue the crew of TNAS Orion. We apologize for this breach of etiquette and your borders, but their reactor will go critical in minutes. If they are to have any chance, they must be beamed aboard our craft now.

The explosion buffeted the shields of Order One the only ship close enough to the explosion. However, even though it was small, it was quite capable of taking the brunt of such an attack. The shields buckled under the strain and collapsed, and the first layer of armored hull was sheared off, but the ship remained virtually undamaged otherwise.
<Proceed.>
Was the reply.
The remaining Zillar ships either fled of were destroyed. The Greal fleet lost barely two cruisers, three frigates, and three hundred fighters. The Zillars lost well over two hundred ships. The Klackon's first major battle was a success.
This was only the beginning.
----------------------
'We stay for twenty hours to repair. The Zillars, even if they were ready, would be destroyed by our combined fleets." said Captain Bolvan.
The Triumvirate's Military were always cautious, though it was true that the Zillar seemed ill-equipped, to such a degree that they were forced to retreat so quickly. The possibility remained that they were all regrouping, though with the Greal nearby, at least they wouldn't have to suffer losses to too enormous of a degree. With the twenty-four hours to investigate things, they would probably be able to come up with a better strategy in the next battle.
In the meantime, the ships were quickly repaired and resupplied with full stocks of missiles. A few smaller vessels also began to arrive to resupply the missing podships that were lost in the battle; the fighters would take too long to bring to the fleet, not to mention the pilots for them.

"Get us out of here."
"Affirmative, General."
Unit 323956 immediately transmitted to the Cruiser, which was named the Silentium. The Captain, having received the go-ahead from the DO ships, rendered a scan of the Orion and picked up the bio signatures of the living and wounded crew. They would have transported the dead as well for a honorable burial, but time was limited and the living took priority over the dead. Beaming "guns" fixed to the hull began to warm up in synchronization with the hum of linked modulators to ensure what was being transported ended up in the same shape it had when it began it's journey. With the shields down on the Orion the invisible beaming rays passed though the hull armor and seeped the ship, taking the entire crew and drawing them back to the Silentium. The four hundred and ten surviving crew (ooc: if you'd like I can change that number, you said you took about a hundred fatalities when one of your hangers was destroyed) were in a massive hanger, among dozens of fighter craft and drop ships and several corvette and patrol sized ships. Medical (http://high-octane.deviantart.com/art/Fortress-Forever-Medic-18903927) teams were on standby there, and the wounded were hoisted onto stretchers and carried to the Medical Bay where they could be treated. More superficial cuts, scratches and bruises were treated on the spot. These kitsune looked essentially the same as Unit 323956, excepting their gender, uniforms and various nuances of biological diversity. Beyond the chaos of the of the TNA crew and medics General Gastfield would see a Xiscapian in a white uniform (http://www.lucasfiles.com/screenshots/349362.jpg) (ooc: the one on the right of the picture) flanked by two Marines. TNAS Orion...
With the ship wiped clean of life Unit 323956 boarded her scout as the hanger shook around her. Alarms and klaxons screamed and emergency lights threw the hellish scene into stark reality: Broken piles of machinery and equipment as the entire vessel shuddered as the systems failed one by one. The scout lifted off, turned, and shot away out of the hanger. In moments the Orion would detonate as it's reactor core went critical, and Unit 323956 needed to be as far away as she could get or be caught in the blast...

The kitsune paled considerably, and he turned away and appeared to be talking very fast at his wrist. Moments later the Silentium vanished into DeSitter space, though no one on board felt any change. Unit 323956's scout had been communicated with and she sent a message to the DO ships:
We have just been informed that the reactor aboard the Orion is a ZPM. You only have a minute, perhaps two, to escape before it goes off. The blast will destroy this entire star system, you must take yourselves as far away as possible.
Then the scout made the jump to lightspeed and was gone.
Aboard the Silentium...
General Gastfield was escorted up to the bridge by the three Xiscapians. Beyond a heavy blast door guarded by two Marines was a array of computer monitors spread out with seating for the gray-uniformed bridge crew. On either side of a small bridge there were two sunken control areas with half a dozen kitsune attending to the systems. At the end of the "bridge", hands behind his back, staring out at the camera-projected view of hyperspace, was the Captain, wearing a black uniform. He turned, smiling, white furred with orange eyes and skin of a Hispanic shading. "Ah, General Gastfield I presume?"

The Draconic Order had met species in possession of ZPM's before. The growing mastery of Gaian Ascendancy technology gave the Dominion a few defenses against a ZPM detonation. A spread of jump capable drones were launched from Order One. As the drones flew by the disintegrating Terra Novian vessel they tagged the vessel with tractor beams. In a bright flash of light, the entire ship and the drones disappeared as the drones folded space, dragging the vessel into subspace.
At the same time as the drones were launched, the entire fleet went into high alert and pushed their shield generators to their limit. When the explosion happened, it was dulled by the pocketed subspace, but the outer shell of the fleet sustained massive damage. Two dozen warships of various sizes were evacuated as they began turning into hulks. It would take some time to rebuild.

Lydak gave an almost nonexistent nod, and one of the Marines appeared unexpectedly with a comfortably padded chair, sliding it into place behind Gastfield. The General would notice the back had a hole in it at the seat. "General, would you like a drink? Refreshments? A chance to speak to any of your crew? I'm afraid I must question you about your place of origin and purpose in this sector of space. Don't worry," he chuckled, catching Gastfield's expression, "it's not an interrogation. The water was poured, and the Ambassador sat, sipping from the provided glass.

"We sent an advance scout so as not to alarm them and provoke unfortunate circumstances, and offered a deal. They accepted, on the grounds that we protect them from attack and a share of some of our technology." Tiri had had a simple metal cup of red wine placed before her, and she studied the Belkan ambassador over the rim of it as she drank. "We would be happy to act as a mediator between you and other Zillars," she said, placing the cup back on the table, "but we have only made peace with the Zillar who is the governor of this system. Whether the other Zillars are open to negotiations or not is uncertain, and we cannot promise positive results. Our own nation was attacked by the Zillars, and we believe this was a result of so many nations expanding their respective territories in this sector. The destruction of their forces and the taking of their worlds for colonies pushed them over our borders into our territory, where they sought to gain new worlds to expand onto as they were forced from their old ones. Perhaps these Zillars are attempting to do the same?" She arched an eyebrow.

Xiscapian Space, Glacies, Newport...
The corvette had been directed to the first of the twin planets, and Newport, because that's where most of the command staff were, most humanoids did better in cooler woodland environments that oppressively hot, jungle environments, and Newport was more industrialized now than any of the others. Four of the planned structures were already built, and the rest had their foundations laid and were being worked on by colonists and droids. The landing pad was at the fully built end of the colony, between the Command Center, Mess Hall and Droid Factory. Legatus Jenna Rothan was greeted by the system Ambassador, a slight, petite young female kitsune by the name of Tiri. She wore the black and deep purple robes of the Xiscapian Diplomatic Corps drawn about her, darkly tanned skin and ebony hair blending with her clothes even as her orange eyes, tawny fur and dark colors against the steel buildings, drab ground, snow and iron sky. Her only visible weapon was a katana in a forest green sheath. Two Marines had been escorting her, but when they saw the Belkan Ambassador came unarmed and unguarded, they peeled off to march back into the Command Center. Tiri bowed somewhat stiffly. "Greetings from the Kitsune Empire to the Belkan Imperium." she said softly in a neutral tone. "I am Ambassador Tiri. Would you like to come inside? It's warmer there, and refreshments can be provided at your leisure." It was about twenty-two degrees F outside, and even colder outside the colony, as the buildings blocked the chill wind that cut though one like a well-placed sword.
OOC: NC, are you even a part of this RPG?
OO2: Please don't forget about my android, TNA.
OCC: Yes, made peace with the Zillars, supplied the berrax etc.
A few minutes passed an a tall, very thin hassled-looking kitsune came striding out the door. His brown hair was disheveled and wild, orange fur slightly poofy and he generally looked like a man with too many things to do and not nearly enough time to do them in. Orange eyes looked the Black Spider up and down, then they closed and the Governor looked up at the sky, breathed in, breathing out then turned back to the Zillar automation. "Alright," he said in a calm voice, mustering his reserves of patience. "What is it?"
"I have a message from the Governor." said the Black spider, grabbing a black piece of paper, covered with white letters.
Governor,
As you well know, we are at war with several nations, such as the Nili, the Greal, the Draconics. This is a result of their imperialistic moves unto our republic. My superiors wish to know if they could purchase weapons from your empire.
The Triumvirate's Military were always cautious, though it was true that the Zillar seemed ill-equipped, to such a degree that they were forced to retreat so quickly. "Alright." said Captain Bolvan,"meanwhile, we have cloaked scouts examining the our next target, which is quite interesting. The Zillars have asteroids and other strange ships guarding this planet." Bolvan put on screen footage of a planet. It showed asteroids flying around the planet, watching for any intruders. Other ships, such as a square shaped ships moving around, were just as strange,.
Repairs began, with spider robots working on the damage on the Klackon and other Greal ships. Fighters and scouts were flying around, watching for enemies.

"That is only one issue. What can the Imperium of Belkaros do for the Kitsune Empire?"
"Your nation may have made contact with another nation here which was the first to begin colonizing, the Intergalactic Empire of Greal. Tensions between the Kitsune Empire and Intergalactic Empire are high, as we fundamentally disagree on several points. For example, our being kitsune seems to offend their sensibilities, and for reasons we cannot fathom they kidnapped and killed one of our Ambassadors, nearly sparking a war. Needless to say, both of us are viewing the other with no small amount of suspicion, and are watching closely. They have made an alliance with a nation called the Nili here, and we fear they may use our peace with the Zillars as an accusation launch point for invasion of our holdings in this sector. What we need is to show that we are not alone nor under defended, to stave of attack before it ever comes. If the Imperium would make it known that they are allied with Xiscapia, or at least have some sort of interest in her continued survival, this may give potential attackers a second thought. If you wish, this can extend only to our colonies in this space, and we will do likewise for you, of course." Tiri finished her wine, sliding the cup away to be swiftly taken by a servant.
Estus Colony...
The Governor read the note without expression. He then turned the note over, pulled out a ballpoint pen, and began to write. After a few moments he silently thrust the piece of paper back to the Black Spider and walked back to the house.
The paper read on it this:
We may be able to provide weapons, armor and armour for the Zillar Republic. Make specifications as to weapon and armor types and weapon calibers, and armour functions and qualities, along with quantities of all. Keep in mind in your purchase that our supply is limited, and this is a one-time deal only. I'm afraid that you have entered a rather more civilized sector of space, and you would not have found any uninhabited worlds fit for colonization."

A waiting clerk copied the list from the Black Spider, and then took it inside. No more was said about it, but an encrypted message was sent to Glacies, and more factories were constructed. No one could tell where the materials came from, or exactly where the needed equipment and weapons were produced, but in no time the first freighter ship was being loaded to fly to Estus Colony.
On it were disassembled Anti-Ship (AS) guns, standard model and not that much different from hundreds of other modified point-defense weapons. They were massive, gray duel-barreled weapons of destruction, capable of incinerating even a large tank if turned to face the ground. AS guns are designed to shoot down fighters, drones, probes, missiles, mines and boarding craft such as drop ships and shuttles and damage gunboats and corvettes. If multiple guns concentrate on a single target, they can pose a threat to even small cruisers. They are basically slightly more powerful blaster cannons, firing beams of energy in the form of red lasers. When activated AS guns have a special ability known as "Diamond Fire" among spacers in which the beams fire in a continual, unbroken line, "bouncing" or "leaping" from target to target until either all targets are destroyed or shields absorb the beam. This seeks targets by drawing itself to the nearest heat source, making it extremely effective but very dangerous, with the potential to damage allied craft. Light-speed fast computer systems on the automated weapons target and fire off to destroy incoming mass, but these could be overridden for manual use. These guns came with the Diamond Fire ability not present, but they could be installed either on the hull of a ship or fixed on the ground in an AA position.
The armor suits were stored in racks of a hundred to a container. The first eight thousand suits were an identical, uniform but unlabeled dark green and armored tan. Their helmets were vaguely reminiscent of ancient Terran samurai, and the whole face aside from the eyes was covered by a gas mask. If needed goggles could be fitted and attached to cover the face entirely. The suits had been designed and built with the Zillar physique in mind, meaning that they fit well and had areas for body parts that humans or kitsune might not have. The other two thousand were equally closely designed, but these were an evil black color, armored all over except for bright yellow face plates and arm protectors. Though the bright color was a dead give away on nearly any battlefield, this was only that color when stored and when worn and active had a chameleon effect to camouflage the wearer, making them the same color, tone and texture as whatever was around them, effectively rendering them invisible except to very close examination. However, this ability only worked when the user was standing still or moving very slowly. They were also equipped with heat trappers, ping reflectors, camera, scanner and motion sensor scramblers, to make the wearer also invisible to ultraviolet vision, radar, cameras, scanners and motion detectors. These suits were designed to be given to officers and/or commando units.
The medical kits were properly equipped: Four different types of bandages, tweezers, disinfectants, instant hot and cold packs, painkillers, scalpels, bite and burn swabs, bandage scissors, exam gloves, splints, trauma sheers, lighter, syringe and needles, thread and sewing needle, CPR mask, flashlight, emergency blanket, and several shots of adrenaline. Though well-outfitted, the medical kit was only meant for repairing minor to moderate injuries in non critical areas, and stabilizing serious wounds at best. They wouldn’t, and shouldn’t, take the place of a good, fully equipped field hospital. The medical kits were stacked inside storage containers.
The heavy semi-automatic blaster pistols were provided as sidearms. These were small, compact and easily concealed, and able to penetrate light to moderate body armor even from range. However, due to their size a clip only carried ten shots, and each pistol came with a single additional clip. Also they were quite dense and somewhat heavy when compared to other pistols. However, the pistols were very accurate and could be used to repel or suppress enemies before the operator got a chance to reload their main weapon. These were carried in chest or hip holsters tucked into gun racks.
Finally came the grenade launchers/flamethrowers. Putting the two together had posed somewhat of a problem, but this had been worked around to make an efficient weapon. The eight-shot repeating grenade launcher had iron sights and could be fixed to rain hell upon an advancing enemy like artillery. It came with a fuel tank backpack with a tube that extended from the base to a smaller barrel right below the main one. This was the flamethrower, a horrible weapon capable to spewing liquid-based fire up to a hundred feet (triple that if modified and fixed to a vehicle) to melt soldiers in their power armor and set alight or severely burn the unprotected. Contrary to popular belief, shooting the backpack would not cause it to explode, and it was made of a special metal that would reflect blaster bolts and withstand heat. However, prolonged exposure to either would cause the metal to fail and be penetrated, upon which the user would be in for the ride of their life, however short it may be. These were broken down into the fuel tank backpack, the flamethrower and the grenade launcher for easier transportation. They would be assembled on arrival.
This freighter only carried about a quarter of the total ordered shipment, making a dozen AS guns, 2,500 armored suits, 1,250 medical kits, 125 blaster sidearms and 125 grenade launcher/flamethrowers. None of them were labeled with manufacturer stamps, and the instruction manuals referred to no company or corporation. It would be dropped to the Zillars, and then it was out of kitsune hands. The Xiscapians didn’t really care what the Zillars did with the weapons, so long as they weren’t used against Xiscapia or any of her allies. By doing this, they had fulfilled part of their bargain with the Zillars.

The Zillars thanked the Xiscapians and asked them what the price was for the weapons. The Governor of the Zillars assured that he would not use them against the Xiscapians, he would use them against the Greal and Nili. The old Zillar weapons were useless against the Nili-Greal advance. The only effective weapon was the anti-matter missile, but even those were limited numbers. Recent battles had depleted the Zillars greatly. The Republic however was still strong. Millions of demons signed up to fight the Greal and Nili. To defend their homes from the Imperialists.

The total cost of the equipment and weapons sent was transcribed on a slip of paper. It said, simply, Make us an offer.
Xiscapian Space, Glacies, Newport...
"We are not looking to start a war, Ambassador, we are looking to prevent one. We will keep Belkaros out of this any way we can unless the situation becomes dire, if that is what you wish. As for the weapons, we have been assured that they will only be used against the Greali and Nili, and if they are turned against us, onto you or in any other way abused there are fail safes in place to make the Zillars regret betraying our trust. You have nothing to fear from those we deal with, but the Zillar Republic may be fractured, and peace with a people or system may not be peace with the entire species." Tiri replied somewhat coolly. "We kitsune are generally a cautious people, and we take measures to protect ourselves, our interests and our allies."
XIW Silentium...
"We are not staying here, Either you find a way for us to get home or we will do so ourselves."
"General, we have been civil so far, and I intend to keep it that way," said Lydak, voice suddenly becoming cold. "We did not put you in this predicament and we are doing our best to help you. If you wish so badly to leave, you may step out the airlock." He settled in his chair. "I cannot send you on your way in a poorly defended vessel across the galaxy with a clear conscious. However, I do believe I have a solution. We can lend you one of our lightly armed but heavily armored colony ships, outdated I'm afraid but still functional, for you and your crew. It is clear to me that none of your men would know how to operate one of our vessels, so my solution is simple: We will send an android to pilot you to your home planet per your directions. The android will protect you and advise you if you run across hostiles. Once safely there the ship is yours if you wish to keep it, and if you still feel it necessary you may destroy or disassemble the android upon entering your home system. This is the fastest, lease complicated, easiest way I can think of: We can have the ship here and your crew on board in less than two hours. I cannot make you a better offer."

"I will go gather my men...oh also here" Gastfield handed over a small device
"This is a Type IV Prototype Subspace communicator. With this we may communicate...Its inferior to what you have I assume but you could always fix it" he said and waved with his hand to show that they were so advanced they could snap with their fingers and it would be done.

"I think we are at an understanding. We too wish to avoid a war, and if precautions are in place, there seems to be no reason not to help the Zillar. I think that this meeting has been quite productive, I think that this is the beginning of a long, fruitful friendship between our two Empires. With your permission, I will order an embassy to be constructed within one of our colonies and send a crew to this world to build here."
"Hmm... Are the asteroids large enough to cause a problem? We could always try to knock them into the planet itself... Kill two birds with one stone... Though we'd need to act fast and come in from separate locations to force them to crash down towards the planet." The man continued to stare at the asteroids, a smile crossing his lips, "These are either defensive, or perhaps carriers disguised this way to hide fighters perhaps... That seems to be the most useful way to take advantage of such a thing. If they were merely for spying, they wouldn't have them orbiting like this. We're sure they have no idea which system we plan on attacking next, correct?"
The Triumvirate's vessels were completely repaired, very few of their fighters or pods out, as they felt they could rely on their Greal Allies on the off chance that they were so quickly attacked in a system already devoid of life. They were ready to leave, and were only waiting for Greal's orders by this point.
"This might be a bit soon, but are we going to split these destroyed systems in half between our two empires, or do you have some type of other plan for what to do with them? We'll probably not even need a full half of their systems."

"This is a Type IV Prototype Subspace communicator. With this we may communicate...Its inferior to what you have I assume but you could always fix it"
Lydak examined the communicator with interest. "You are correct, it is not up to our standards, but it will do for our purposes. I am glad we have reached an acceptable solution, General. We will give your men with small arms, grenades and the like, just in case you are boarded en route. Good luck." He bowed.
"With your permission, I will order an embassy to be constructed within one of our colonies and send a crew to this world to build here."
"That is most gracious," Tiri nodded her affirmative. "We will send along an Ambassador and his or her staff once the embassy in complete. I will make sure a plot of land is cleared for your embassy here." She rose and bowed, indicating the meeting to be over. "Once again my thanks for your beautiful gift, and hope for prosperous relations between the Kitsune Empire and the Imperium."

The crew from Orion were waiting eagerly to go home.
The men had a hard time being around the android. The fact is that the Terra Novians contructed androids for military purposes and after a few years of field testing the results showed that the androids were too efficient and it was killing civilians aswell.
Gastfield was waiting in the hangar for the Android to arrive. He couldn't stop thinking of what he would say when he got back home. "I am sorry sir..the ship blew up" He shook his head and watched the clock. "It should be here by now" He said impatiently

XIW Silentium...
The colony ship (http://usfu.deviantart.com/art/Colony-ship-23822603) had linked up to the Silentium and the crew, necessary supplies, weapons and equipment were being loaded aboard. The colony ship was named the XCV (Xiscapian Colonial Vessel) Kai and was a sturdy, heavily armored and well shielded craft. She was armed with three main MAC cannons, at the bow in case they ran across large hostiles, and twenty AA railguns for fighter-sized craft (ten to the top, ten to bottom), as well as four missile launchers (loaded with kinetic missiles only) (located at the bow, stern, starboard and port sides) for point-defenses against fighters, asteroids and other missiles. Her single hanger held two squat cargo shuttles, two battered transports, and the only new ship, the android's scout. She was treacherously underarmed by Xiscapian standards, not to mention that all the weaponry was outdated, but she should see the TNA crew home. As Gastfield waited he spotted Unit 323956 moving swiftly towards him. He wouldn't have recognized her, having never seen her, but when she spoke he certainly recognized her voice.
"Greetings, General Gastfield. My name is Unit 323956, I do not believe we have been properly introduced." She bowed. "I will be your pilot and escort home."

"ALRIGHT MEN BOARD THE SHIP" Gastfield Yelled to the waiting crew.

The Greal empire would probably want just half of the Zillar Republic. Our people are starting tog et tired of this war and they must be informed that we have a full half of the Zillar planets. You could always give the planets to yuor allies if you don't need them all." said Captain Bolvan.

The Belkan ambassador bowed and left thanking the host and left on her shuttle, which jumped out of the system. Twelve hours later, a Belkan utility ship appeared almost exactly where the ambassador's ship had dissappeared. The ship headed towards the Xiscapian planet, but not before dropping a labor pod in space.
The foreman was the first off the utility ship, and he waited for a Xiscapian to direct his consturction team.

"Uh..Greetings, Let's call you Mix its easier to remember."
"As you wish." said Unit 323956 without emotion and she strode aboard the ship ahead of the departing crew. On the bridge she began to manipulate the controls at the helm to be ready to disengage from the Silentium as soon as the area was properly cleared and she was given the go-ahead. She was, and in moments the colony ship was leaving the Xiscapian vessel behind. Lydak's voice crackled over the Subspace communicator. "General Gestfield? Can you hear me?" he asked.
Xiscapian Space...
A Marine, who held the rank of Warrant Officer (though this was not evident to an outside observer) greeted the foreman with a bow and a gesture to a generous plot of land cleared of snow and now just a patch of dirt. "Embassy placement's to be there, sir," he said, voice sounding metallic though his helmet. "We have our own crews, equipment and materials ready to assist you at a moments notice if needed."

The foreman guided the ship and the native laborers to the construction site. Civilian model Zaku mobile suits were unloaded from the craft and began clearing the site, then placed the Minovsky reactor in the ground, knocking out all local electronics before the shielding was put in place. The crews began construction, and the foreman headed to the governor's office to present plans of the building, the orbital Hermes Gate, and to present maps of potential embassy locations in the Belkan sector.

Meanwhile the crew was underway trying to get comfort in the old ship. The radar operator and 2 engineers were fixing the half-damaged Short range communicator. All the crew was either repairing old circuits and modules. The fact is it was in much worse shape than the Xiscapian said. Though the sublight engines,long-range communicator and the hyperdrive were in perfect condition showing they had some maintanence.

Xiscapian Space, Glacies, Newport, Governor's Office...
The Governor was not actually on Glacies at the moment, he was on Estus overseeing the construction of the colony there. He communicated to the foreman via holoconference, looking over the blueprints for the embassy, Gate and the starmap for the Xiscapian Embassy in Belkan colonial space. He nodded in satisfaction, seeming calmer than when he had spoken to the Black Spider. "There is no problems with the Embassy blueprints, although you should know the delegation staying there will be restricted to one Ambassador, three aides, ten guards, ten servants or droids, and five vehicles, two of which can be military, the other three must be unarmed. However, I would like for you to enlighten me a bit more on the subject of this orbital Hermes Gate, and impart any information you have on the potential Imperial Embassy sites within Belkan space."
XCV Kai...
"I hear you, what can we do for you Lydak?"
"That's "Captain Lydak", please General," Lydak corrected firmly but without rancor. "I have called to say good-bye. The Kai might not be much, but she's tougher than she looks. She'll get you all home in one piece, as will Unit 323956. In a short time the Silentium will be jumping away, and I'm afraid that once you have traveled a few hundred lightyears you will be entirely on your own. It has been a pleasure, General. Good luck."
Unit 323956, or "Mis" (ooc: I assume that's what you meant, rather than "Mix") turned to Gestfield. "We are ready to jump at your mark, General. However, this is an older model vessel, and we will be required to make multiple jumps to follow the course your technicians have shown me. The journey may take several standard days."
"I'm juts worried it could be a asteroid that could be moved. Some of these meteors are several miles long. Of course they could b taken out easily.
The Greal empire would probably want just half of the Zillar Republic. Our people are starting tog et tired of this war and they must be informed that we have a full half of the Zillar planets. You could always give the planets to yuor allies if you don't need them all." said Captain Bolvan.
"I suppose we can keep them in name only..." The Ambassador said with a faint smile, "We'll create a council to think of ideas on what exactly to do with them... Unfortunately though, it seems that most of the planet we come across are going to be destroyed."
"As for the asteroids, they're quite large. Perhaps with a few well-placed Graviton blasts behind it, and a large enough impact from the front... we might be able to at least knock one into the planet's orbit and create a nice mess of things. If we manage to do it once, though it may be difficult, we can at least expect future large craft to be far enough away from the planet to help augment our strategy somewhat. Not use getting too close in case they have satellites or ground emplacements, correct?"
There was a brief pause, as the Ambassador's hand went over something in front of him, and the projected course of action was sent to the Greal ship. It would involve two separate jumps through space to get the element of surprise and position things accordingly. This would weaken the individual two Triumvirate forces, but with the Greal's massive fleet creating a distraction, the counterattack to any one group shouldn't be too bad.

Governor's Office
The foreman, Ingeniarius Ultra Broderick Sloan, opened a file on a holoscreen and an image of a Hermes Gate appeared on the screen.
"The Hermes Gate is a faster than light point to point travel device that allows ships to travel almost instantaneously from one gate to another. They are located across the Imperium and the territories of our allies to allow for easier trading, shipping and military deployment. The gate in your space would be more limited than most, with saftey precautions in the event of Greal or Zillar capture, and to make sure that other Hermes member gates are not accessable without authorization, and to make sure that this gate is not used improperly by some of our allies who are less, how to put this delicatley, accepting of your kind."
Sloan opened another file, this one showing diagrams of a side colony, an asteroid fortress, and a planet map.
"You may choose to build a colony at one of these locations; Side 12, a space colony, Castrus Doma, an asteroid fortress, or a planetside location. You will be given any materials you require and a square acre to build. Two ambassadors, ten assistants, twenty support staff and twenty guards will also be permitted, plus three vehicles, though our public transportation systems will be the main mode of transport."
"I suppose we can keep them in name only..." The Ambassador said with a faint smile, "We'll create a council to think of ideas on what exactly to do with them... Unfortunately though, it seems that most of the planet we come across are going to be destroyed."

"Our fleet is also ready to move. I'm not even sure why we even brought soldiers if we are going to turn each Zillar planet into dust."

"Ok ,fire her up Mis."
"Very good, General." 'Mis''s stomach opened and a tiny port cable extended and jacked into the side of the console before her. With complete control over the Kai, Unit 323956 fired the engines and the old bird began to drift away across space, huge ion engines pulsing as they propelled her and the TNA crew across space.
Governor's Office
The Governor listened to the description of the Gate closely. He had heard of other, similar devices in the hands of other races, and word was out Xiscapia was working on a sort of portable version of it, for their ships. He didn't know how they worked, but accepted what the foreman said as true. While it would be incredibly dangerous if captured by enemies of Xiscapia, the governor would take precautions of his own to make sure any uninvited guests would meet a very short, very fast and probably quite fiery welcome. "This is acceptable," he nodded, "and I believe we will set up our embassy on Side Twelve. As soon as the building is constructed we will send along the staff for it."
"Our fleet is also ready to move. I'm not even sure why we even brought soldiers if we are going to turn each Zillar planet into dust."

The Triumvirate soon phased in as well, in their two separate groups as they did before. It was quite an odd sight to see, and many of those working under the Triumvirate supposed that it was perhaps an error on the part of the Greal's computers. Though to be on the safe side the ships began to dispel their pods, as a variety of laser fire was suddenly launched where their predesignated targets were around the plant, as the Colossus craft ships began to launch their Graviton cannons at the area around the planet, eventually moving to concentrate the blasts on the planet's surface, crushing anything beneath the beam's sights, though the point was merely to check for optical camouflage.

"A description or image matching or similar to the ship on the Kai's scopes is not present in my databanks, General." answered Unit 323956 calmly. "I will make the appropriate course adjustments to avoid it."

"Such advanced technology..." Obsidian said quietly, turning to the ship's unnamed masked Admiral behind him, "Next time we'll have to keep a probe in the system. This might get dicey... We could probably attempt another jump, though that might take too long, and the cruisers and the fighters would not be able to escape in time..."
A smile crossed the man's face as he said this, as the veins in his hand seemed to bulge in excitement, each finger quickly moving across the hologram, as dozens of screens suddenly filled the room. The man behind Obsidian said nothing, his mind connected to that of the ship. The calculations for a successful evacuation of the Colossal ships was 90%, though the fighters were already out, and the colony ships and cruisers would not be able to create their own rips in space in time...
The largest ship in the Triumvirate fleet was at most 15 kilometers in length, and was still dwarfed by many of the ship's from Greal. There was only one strategy they could use in the hopes of minimizing damages to important spacecraft.
----------------------------
Almost immediately, the three Colossus ships rained their graviton cannons upon the nearest chunk of planet, attempting to tear the massive piece of planet at least into smaller pieces. Simultaneously, dozens of large singularity missiles were fired at each moon-sized chunk, in the hopes that the small black holes would slow down their approach, or at least hollow out the massive things. Three thousand Anti-matter missiles followed alongside these, peppering the massive chunks with massive bursts of brilliant energy.
Supplementing this with wave after wave of megabolts from the four hundred cruisers, the mammoth Colony ships quietly charging at what was left of the possibly-decimated moons, primed to explode in the most structurally damaged locations...
The fighters and pod ships simply moved away from the mass of ships as quickly as possible...

The "piece" split into so many more parts. It was now like a shower of meteors heading for the Nili fleet. The other "piece" somehow moved faster and was nearly about to hit the first of the Nili ships...
The Greal fleet had a worse time trying to evade the "pieces". The Klackon had no choice bu to fire its most powerful weapon, and Mauler Superweapon. The weapon melted half the piece, and the other half was destroyed by thousands of Megabolt cannons from the Greal fleet. One of the other "pieces" crashed into a cruiser, practically splitting the ship in half.
The Nili ships had but one choice when faced with such a massive barrage, and with no hopes of evading most of them. They quickly launched their graviton cannons forward in an attempt to pull the rocks into each other. At the very least the slowdown allowed the mass of cruisers and other weaponry to unload on them!
The colony ships were each destroyed in turn, exploding in massive bursts of light and radiation as they almost seemed to push forward into the meteor fields! The rest of cruisers towards the front were hit badly, and about a dozen fell instantly before the Graviton Cannons began to push the rocks into each other.

The Triumvirate vessels quickly followed suite, using the Graviton Cannons to anchor the rocks in place, quickly burning through their reactor's energy as the fighters quickly began to barrage the larger pieces with singularity missiles, followed by a vast array of megabolts from the assembled cruisers.
As the last of the Carriers impacted with the rocks, the lights to the Colossus-Class ships suddenly dimmed to put more power to the Graviton Cannons, in the hopes of anchoring them until nothing would be left of the planet's pieces aside from smaller, more manageable sections.

Sometimes, the rocks got through. But after a few hours of "fighting" the rocks, they were blasted away completely. Now the Greal fleet converged on the Zillar planet. Planet based missile defenses began firing. Tens of thousands of anti-matter missiles were fired at the incoming fleets. Greal cruisers and frigates formed a missile defense line and began firing everything they had against the incoming missiles.
