This will have to be off-site, since it falls under the category of "Alternate History".

Though I'm not actually interested in joining, I ran a 1914-era Earth about a year back. It's dead now, but there's still a lot of useful stuff - factbooks and stuff you guys may want to use as templates and whatnot.

There's (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=521118) the old E1914 thread - feel free to grab the organization/details/maps that are there - not the nations themselves, obviously, as they're original, but if there's any other resources there you might find useful - go for it.

Thank you, I'll take a look at that.

Also if anyone wants to help me mod this, it would be apperciated.

I'd be happy to help out, and Stok, I'm not so sure it would have to be offsite, as we're RPing our nations in 1914, not RL ones.

Remember that it is 1914 or 1917, Israel hasn't been created yet.

I actually control a bunch of nations, if that's allowed, but all are in an alliance

Nations: Lebanon, Damascus, Palestine, Amman, Khemed, Al-Medina, Jeddah, Mekkah, Bahrain, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Al-Ain, Dubayy.

where is left that i could claim

A large portion of the globe still remains unclaimed.

On another note, so long as any significant interest still lies in the venture, it would likely be prudent if we were to at least flesh out the details of organization and location. Saudi Leftica already mentioned the possibility of moving the forum off-site, but I find this unnecessary since we'll be using our NS nations instead of RL ones (and these types of ventures tend to collapse rather quickly when moved off NS). Any one else's thoughts on the matter?

I think we need to claim areas in a more organized fashion.

It seems rather unfair to give the entire United States and Great Britain to one person. It may be better to split some of the larger countries (United States, Great Britain and France. Others could be split up according to the discretion of the moderatior) up into regions which you can claim. For France and Great Britain, you would simply separate their colonial claims into regions separate of the mother country (It would be a pain to claim Great Britain by saying "I'd like Wales, England, and Scotland" and then not being able to claim Ireland). America would be split into four or five regions. You would be able to claim three of these regions.

For example, a valid claim would be "The Thirteen Colonies, Great Britain, Eire".

I created two maps of all the claims already made, so I figured I would post them in order to bump this thread.

Which one do you guys prefer?

I think we should leave the claims that have been made as they are(1st come 1st serve!),seeing that the US,Russia, and Canada have been claimed. So let's just divide the big empires,China,Australia, and Brazil.

Australia and Brazil (Especially Australia) don't have the same industrial capacity as countries that are the same size or smaller than them. When you combine the industrial capacity and population of Great Britain and the United States of America, you end up with something that's extremely hard to stop.

It's not really land that's the issue, it's manpower and industrial might.

Australia maybe not,but Brazil has great potential.Well we aren't RPing RL nation here anyway.Hmm....uh,one question are we going to be RPing as the past versions of our current nations or will this be a completly different timeline?

I also want to talk about the colonial policy. Will there be any rules about it?
