Relative Liberty

Following the first signs of Kraven resurgence (in the Second War of Corporate Aggression), the Third Republic of Blackwood recalled many reservists into active status and deployed several Irish regiments to Southeast Asia in hope of deterring Kraven from invading an important trading partner of Blackwood’s.
This RP is meant to explore the effects this will have upon the people of Ireland who, after centuries of living with Blackwood tyranny, genocide and exploitation, are called upon to defend “democracy, freedom and human dignity” from the evil conquerors.
During the centuries, several organizations have sprung up to challenge Blackwood lordship of their island. While the ideals, viewpoints and creeds have varied with time, the one dream that joins them together is that of Irish independence. The four most important organizations in modern Ireland, listed by size, are
Irish Republican Army: dating back from the early 20th century, the IRA is the largest of the republican factions, enjoying the most support from the general populace as well as some international sympathy. They have a strong sectarian outlook however, appealing to working class Catholics, and this may alienate people who do no fit this description.
Workers’ IRA: An offshoot of the IRA, WIRA renounces the sectarian policy of their mother organisation. They see the division of labour and the socio-economic stratification of society as the fundamental problem of the modern world as it perpetuates the division of mankind into nations and states. WIRA therefore seeks a strong international confederation of workers led and inspired by small revolutionary vanguards to overthrow their masters.
Real IRA: Another offshoot of the IRA formed in response to the increasingly socialist outlook of that organization. RIRA is a loose alliance of non-socialist republicans, joining fascists, nationalists and neo-nazis under one republican, anti-communist banner.
Left IRA: The even more radical offspring of the WIRA, the Left IRA formed in the early 1990’s under the leadership of Cathal O’Donnel. They view the “global revolution” of the Worker’s as mere fantasy and even contra-revolutionary as it distracts the Irish workers from their immediate struggle for freedom. Socialism must first be built in an independent Ireland, and only then can in spread.
You’re free to pick one (or several) to support/train/equip/sell into slavery/deep fry/whatever.
While I already written some things about the impact upon the Irish populace (or rater, was going to until second war of corporate aggression stalled) that was more of a one-person narrative rather than an interactive RP.
So what happens when you let a bunch of IIers handle terrorists and dangerous weaponry in a society that would make the Balkan powder keg seem like a water balloon?
