The Royalist Party has come out of this as the strongest party in the Parliament, winning 22 seats. Early in the elections the Conservatives came on strong but lost momentum thanks to the more popular Royalists; they still managed to gain 17 seats throughout thenation and showed about the same amount of support in all districts.
Minor Parties
Not surprisingly the Independents scored the most votes to earn them a respectable seat count. The Green Party and thier focus on the envireonment helped them gain thier seats. A very small minority of the Parliament consists of the Nation and Expansionist parties.

Prime Minister
The Prime Minister is elected by majority vote by the Parliament in a vote of no confidence. The Prime Minister's primary duty is the overseeing of the day to day running of Parliament and to assist the Monarch in the day to day running of the nation. Like the Monarch the Prime Minister is not permitted to vote on an issue or to express his position on an issue until all other votes are in to avoid swaying the opinions of Ministers with his political sway; he is considered the second most powerful man in Goldaron. The runner up in elections gains the title of Arch Minister, his or her duties include opening all Parliamentary sessions and overseeing Parliament in the absence of the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister - Herbert Walker (Socialist)
Herbert Walker found a surprising amount of support among the Liberal and Social Reform Parties allowing him to take the Prime Minister seat by a margin of a single vote!
Arch Minister - Richard Long (Royalist)
The Arch Minister found almost the Entire Royalist Party behind him but failed to gain enough support from other Ministers to gain Prime Minister.
