News Flash:

"Today The Talentay National Air Force Command Base was devistated! A riot formed outside of the gates and when soldiers fired rubber bullets into the crowd, they tore down the gates! The rioting people have killed or ejected all soldiers form the base! We saw all kinds of law inforcement down here today. Everyone from The Royal Guards to the local police! We have also learned that the base controls most of the air traffic in the natio.........Oh oh my god! We have just received information that they are evacuating the city because there is a biological weapons lab. inside the base!" Says a news reporter as Emergency Crews desperatly try to evacuate the city while maintaining a perimeter!

5 Minutes later:

"Attention convicts! You are herby sentenced to death by order of General Gandly! If you come out and surrender the base immediatly then you will be spared and only receive a lighter sentence!" Said a police officer over a megaphone but the people refused to budge! Finaly, the police managed to climb the gate and started to shoot and kill anyone who was around and then retreated!

8 Hours Later:

"Well people this has been going on for about 9 hours now and the police are getting restless!" Said the news reporter into his microphone. Suddenly, all of the TV screens in Talentay went to a man inside of the base: "Greetings! The Anti-Dictator Movement has begun! We will not stand for Talentay's opressive and evil government anymore! So I say to you Lord Ragan II surrender the nation to democracy or find out what we can really do from inside this base! If any citizens feel the same way we do now is the time to fight!"
The screens went back to the regular channel just as quicky as they had changed. What the public didn't know though is that General Gandly had given the order to set up a signal jammer that would not allow any transmissions to go in or out of the base!

2 hours later at the capitol building:

Riots had been broken up three times already in front of the capitol building!

The Dictator's Office:

"God damn it! How could this happen? Now the whole world will know how we treat our people and we will be ruined!" Moaned the dictator to his advisory board!
"Sir. We have already jammed the transmissions form the base. So we dont need to worry abou them transmitting anything for a while. BUT.... there are reports of small isolated riots breaking out all over the nation! So far we have been able to break em up. But I don't know how long our luck will last."
"Good. Inact a curfew of 6:30 PM for all citizens that ends at 7:45 AM. Shoot and kill anyone caught out and set-up barackades at all exits and enterance to all cities! I dont want anyone to be moving about in MY nation!"
"Yes Sir! Right away sir!"

Updated News Report:
"This has been going on for about 2 days now and we have just received information that there is an underground vault with biological weapons inside. We also now know that the vaults alarm was tripped about 2 hours ago meaning that whatever was in that vault is now available to these people!" Said the news reporter right before a huge explosion went off inside the base and a dark green cloud floated from the windows and doors of the main building in the base!

"We realize the gravity of Talentay's situation, and recognize that your government's first and foremost responsibility is guaranteeing the safety and well-being of your citizens; however, we request that, if possible, extra security measures be taken to secure any Maghdan expatriates that may be in your country. If worse comes to worst, the Magdhan government will provide aid to your government, possibly including military aid."

IC: The reports coming out of Talentay had come to Lamoni during the dead of night; causing the underlings who worked these shifts to rouse the nation's leaders out of their warm beds.

Less than a half hour later, the cabinet was watching the tape made of the television transmission made from the Talentay National Air Force Command Base.

"What do we know about this Anti-Dictator Movement?," asked President Stinson. The LIA director was the one to reply. "Next to nothing, Mr. President. All of our efforts to get one of our assets into the rebel base have been repulsed by the heavy police presence in the area. There is also circumstantial evidence of a signal jammer being used in the area. We can only speculate that the government of Talentay set it up in order to prevent the rebels from spreading their message."

Mulling over this, President Stinson ordered Foreign Minister Tanya Ley, "Tanya, send a message to the government of Talentay. Tell them that we are prepared to send a diplomatic representative to Talentay in order to solve the situation peacefully. However, make it plain that we will only condone a use of force upon the rebels if the talks fail or the rebels attack government forces first. What you will NOT tell the government is that our diplomatic representative will also learn about what the intentions of the rebels are, and to offer our military support of their cause if they indeed wish to create a democracy in Talentay."

Foreign Minister Ley made a sign of assent, and left the room in order to compose the message. In the meantime, President Stinson turned to address General Allan Hamsher of the Lamonian Army. "General Hamsher, prepare the 1st through 6th Mechanized Infantry Divisions, as well as the 13th-18th Armored Divisions, and the 26th Artillery and the 29th Air Defense Divisions. If we need to use military force in this situation, then those units will be called upon to serve in Talentay. I'm sorry to have to interrupt their training with the Lyran OPFOR Company, but we must stabilize the situation, one way or the other."

"Yes sir, we shall be ready for your orders," stated General Hamsher; who then left the room to issue the warning orders to the affected divisions.

We have noted signs of revolt coming from your nation. As such, we wish to send a diplomatic representative to Talentay in order to resolve the conflict peacefully. Our diplomat will attempt to speak with the rebels, and we feel that a nation that is neutral in this matter will have a higher chance of success in this task. In return, we must note that the use of force against the rebels will not be tolerated while our diplomat is doing his work unless the rebels attack government forces; or the talks fail.

Meanwhile, a spetacled man waits patiently, his black trenchcoat and hat 1930's-40's in origin, short blonde hair covers his head and icey-blue eyes gaze at the black unassuming telephone infront of him on a table, he was sitting down in a small plastic black chair in the middle of an old shed which they had converted for outside telephone lines, specificly for this purpose...so they couldn't be traced back to their Sanctuary...

With the assent of the government of Talentay to the 'peace plan,' a diplomatic representative was selected.

The diplomat's name was John Roberts, and he was once a police negotiator before he joined the Foreign Ministry. He was 41 years old, and his wife had died in a car crash two years before. The couple had no children due to injuries that his deceased wife had suffered during a... less than optimal childhood. Janice Roberts had been beaten by her drunkard father so many times that her internal organs would have failed if she hadn't fainted in school one day, and was therefore taken to a hospital. Ever since he learned of this, John had had a very low opinion of domestic violence.

At any rate, he boarded the aircraft (Boeing 737-900ER) that would take him to Talentay, where he would begin his work. While he did, the flight plan was filed; and all of the technical details were taken care of.

When the aircraft was in the air, John reviewed the scant information on the crisis in Talentay. There wasn't much, but what he did have was cause for concern. A cloud had been spotted coming from the rebel base, and the information that he had didn't speculate on what that might be.

Two fighter jets raced to meet the aircraft.
"This is hawk to the Boeing 737-900ER," Said one of two jets coming up behind the plane. They had one jet on one side of the plane and the other jet on the other side.
"Boeing 737-900ER Come In. We are heer to ecort you too the airport Over.

All of the TV screens in Talentay went to a video of the rebel force and The Dictator inside the base. The leader of the force shot The Dictator in the head (Killing him instantly)!

Inside The Dictator's Conferance Room:

"How the hell did they get that past the jammer?! Wait. What the hell? Did he just make a video of himself shooting me?!" Asked the dictator in a state of shock.
"Yes I believe so." Said General Gandly.
"SHIT! How did he do that?!" He said again.
"I....UH.....Well you see sir......we didn't cut the fiber optic cables for the internet. So he is broadcasting through the internet." Said Lord Ragan II's assistant. Lord Ragan II spun around pulling out a gun!
"WHAT?!" He screamed as he menicingly held the gun to his assistant's head.
"Well you better go cut em!" Lord Ragan Screamed as loud as he could and with that the assistant was gone.
"Now. Send a statment to the news station and tell them that the person the rebel group killed was a body double!"
"yes sir! Right away sir!" General Gandly Said as he left the room.

Upon seeing the broadcast on the news, my government immediately began contemplating a move to aid your country. Seeing as peace is now almost out of the question, my country will send 4 armies to aid you in defeating these troublesome rebels. They are the 15th Mechanized Infantry regiment, the 10th Infantry regiment, the 6th Royal Artillery Division, and the 71st Airborne Regiment. All of them consist of around 100,000 men with assorted units of T-77 MBTs and T-50 APCs. Once the rebellion has been crushed, the 85th Pioneer Korp will aid you in rebuilding your troubled nation.

[OOC: I.... am going to be a complete asshole.]

Morgan Finns went over the plans again and again. "They kill there own, for what? For control?" He cracked his knuckles. "We don't have the spare assets to go abroad as save their people." He stared into his Minster of Defense's eyes. "This may cost their people millions of lives, but in the long run they will be cleansed." His eyes glassed over, the glass of a blinded man. "You know what you must do."

Minister Rex Vorheez nodded, and picked up the plans. He moved himself around towards the Council of War. "Grand Pother Finns wishes us to wipe out all major government positions in Talentay." Copied files of the nations situation were given to each and every general by high ranking officers. They scanned over them quickly. "The Grand Pother has led us threw hard times, he has never been wrong about anything. We must trust his judgment, so I want you to set up a thousand ICBMs and have them ready to launch within a week.

Chief General Arnold Kregg stood up. "This is madness." His tared down Vorheez. "We're going to complete destroy and nations governmental structure because they killed a few civilians who didn't comply with established laws!" He stood up. "Remember the Henneth Capture?" Referring to the massacre as Nationale Public System 001-A when eighteen hundred men and woman were killed to capture a high-level enemy agent who was in the area. "Things like this must be done, to insure a nation's survival!"

Vorheez looked back at Kregg. "I'm well aware of the Henneth Capture. I also happen to know that was against the Grand Pother's orders! And because of the Grand Pother we were able to find Agent Henneth, and trust me, your 'intelligence gathering' didn't do anything!" His anger ruffled his suit and he began fixing himself. "Now you all have your orders, and as soldiers you must follow them." He glared at Kregg.

The men all left to fulfill their duty, even Kregg personally ordered the activation of a hundred twenty missile silos. By the end of the week there was a thousand Nuclear warheads aimed at all the governmental cities and would sweep away the corrupt of the country.

To insure the safety of the project's secrecy all workers who had not proven their loyalty and had not worked there for plus ten years were turned away, and replaced by loyal military officers. The men weren't allowed any electronic devices and scanners constantly swept rooms door-to-door. Even the bathroom had been bugged with camera and audio feed. No one was allowed to leave, no even the Chief Generals who ordered the preparations.

Operation: Sterilization is a go.

News Flash:

"It appears that the military and police are actually leaving the scene of the rebellion. Wait Wait.......no I have just received information that the dictator has ordered the military to bomb the base, killing everything inside, and then rebuild the base!" Said the news reporter. Just then three fighter jets flew over head and they each droped two cylinder like objects on the base! Then, there was a shower of debris as 6 bombs blew up inside the base! The TV screens of people watching the news reporter on scene went to a screen with a robot without a head and big letters at the bottom "We are experiencing techincal dificulties! We are sorry for any inconveinence this may have caused you!".

The Dictator's Office:

"Good job guys! We got em!" Said General Gandly who ordered the attack behind The Dictator's Back!
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Screamed Lord Ragan II coming into his office after hearing of the attack, "Who authorized that attack?! HUH?! We were going to try to make peace with these people"
"Sir. I know who authorized it!" Said The General.
"Who?!"
"He did." Said General Gandly while pointing The Head of The Department of International Affairs.
"GAURDS! GAURDS! Seize him!" Lord Ragan II yelled as gaurds came rushing in with guns drawn.

3 Hours Later At The Firing Wall:

"You have been charged with High Treason. You have been sentenced to death by firing squad by order of Lord Ragan II." Said the squad leader in a slow and dark tone of voice.
"No please.....Please I didn't do it! Please have mercy! I knwo who really did it!" pleaded The department head.
"AIM! FIRE AT WILL!" Screamed the squad leader as 38 fatal shot were fired!

Two fighter jets raced to meet the aircraft.
"This is hawk to the Boeing 737-900ER," Said one of two jets coming up behind the plane. They had one jet on one side of the plane and the other jet on the other side.
"Boeing 737-900ER Come In. We are here to escort you too the airport Over.

"This is LAF aircraft 557. Understand your message, over." The pilot would normally be nervous with foreign warplanes 'escorting' him into a landing, but he knew that attacking THIS aircraft would be taken as an act of war by the Free Republic. Given the population differential between Talentay and Lamoni (HEAVILY in Lamoni's favor), such an act would amount to a suicide pact. The pilot could not think of anyone who would do something that stupid.

With his so-called 'thinking' done, the pilot lined up for his approach to the runway. The resulting landing went without incident, and John Roberts emerged from the plane, waiting to see if there was going to be some sort of welcoming committee or escort.

The units that had received warning orders earlier were brought to the Lamonian coast by train in order to board ships for transport to Talentay should the need to invade that nation arise. LIA (Lamonian Intelligence Agency) had gotten the intelligence on the bombing of the democratic rebel base, and tensions inside the government of Lamoni were rising.

(OOC: it would be a good idea if any remaining rebels could somehow get in touch with my diplomat)

As he stepped off the plane he was greeted by The Dictator of Talentay himself!
"Greetings. I hope your flight went Ok. But we can talk about that later. I regret to inform you that one of the people on my advisory board ordered an attack on the base behind my back. It was blown to pieces and we have already started to rebuild the base now that the rebels are dead. However, the exact same thing has happened at one of the embassies. Thank God the embassador was not in the building when the rebels locked themselves in. They claim they are the same rebel group who took over the base. Long story short I would like to send you into the embassy to try and make peace. Now we know they are armed and we are using a signal jammer because they tried broadcasting the same message as the people in the base! Also, they have captured General Gandly, Our most honored general Who happens to be second in command of all military forces!" Said Lord Ragan II while ushering John Roberts into one of four armored SUV's.

"I am very saddened to hear about the destruction of the rebels in the military base. The slaying of their colleagues will make the remaining rebels much more paranoid, making my mission that much more difficult. Which nation's embassy has been taken over by this group of rebels? That will factor into the negotiations as well. You will need to keep the host nation from attacking for long enough for me to accomplish my mission if i'm to have any hope of working out a peaceful solution."

While the two worked out the details, the Armored SUV's had arrived near the embassy. Asking for a visible length of white fabric from one of the soldiers, John waved it around as he walked towards the embassy. He didn't know what sort of reception that he was going to receive, but he felt like he was back in his old element of hostage negotiations.

Finns stood over the large, blinking, red button that would send the order to destroy the predestined targets. His Minister of Defense, Vorheez stared eerily at the object that would decide a nations fate. "Sir." His voice reminiscent of when he was in the Nationale military. "Missiles are all ready, targets are all within the scope of range." He straightened his tie, "A week-long sweep of the Talentay anti-ballistic defenses has shown that most of the nuclear missiles will hit their expected targets, except for maybe one or two shot down by stray AAA fire." Now done straightening his tie he looked down at his feet in a slight pit of immorality.

Finns' nostrils glared. "Vorheez, I have led this country threw much, tens of thousands have died because of my leadership. But you know, that if anyone else was in place, especially that bastard Kregg, we would have lost thousands more." He didn't turn to look him in the eye, but maintained a godly stature as his words ran out his mouth. "I am ordering this strike so that millions more of the Talentay nation can be free, not for the destruction. You've know me a long time, Vorheez, and I have not once done unnecessary harm to our, or anyone else's people. But this is a necessity for freedom." Vorheez nodded, although Finns did not see him physically do so, there was a that Vorheez had given his approval.

Finns' large index finger protruded from his ball up fist and reached for the button. Its pace was in milliseconds to Vorheez as he saw the life span of a nation slowly began to end. The finger finally made contact with the button, stopped, and pushed harder till it was fully indented. Sirens glared as the operators ran to their stations to watch the nuclear missiles go their courses. Even Finns seemed to step back a bit from the unknown repercussions of allowing such an act. He looked to Vorheez in a bit of dismay, that washed away less then a second afterwards, but Vorheez saw, and his mind became a very confusing place.

Chief General Arnold Kregg was siting behind his elegant maple desk as the siren ran, and an army of operators ran to their stations. Kregg shot up, flying his desk back into a storage container and it toppled and rolled all around the floor. But Kregg had more important things to worry about, there was a two minute countdown before the missiles would launch, or self-destruct, killing everyone in the silo stations.

Kregg ran to his main positions of command and set in all the codes, along with sixteen other incredible high military personnel. The pace was quick as they ran threw seventeen lines of passwords, finally finishing. The countdown was at a minute and twenty-one seconds now and Kregg's small finger reached forward to hit the digital button. The button, a design of Kregg's mind was so small only the pinky finger could correctly hit it. Even if it was off by an inch it wouldn't accept it, insuring no errors. He tried near a dozen times as his finger was much shaker then the average man, but finally got it.

The countdown stopped, but the sirens still glared, from red to blue the colours altered and everyone was quiet as the silo hatches opened up, a mushroom of smoke showing the danger of the devices kept dormant. One hundred twenty missiles sped out at incredible speed and heat, all being tracked and headed toward the governmental centers of Talentay. Five men to a missile to track them, and thousands of satellites following their every move. Now the missiles were blindly headed towards their targets, no level of hacking could turn them off, not even if Grand Pother Finns wanted to stop them he couldn't. The missiles would hit their targets.

All at once sirens started to whine all throughout the great nation.
"Sir we have detected nuclear missiles heading towards all major government esstablisments!" Said Lord Ragan II's assistant while running in to his office!
"SHIT!" He Lord Ragan II as he jumped up form his desk and towards a stairwell. The starwell was a private emergency exit for the dictator only!

15 Minutes later at The National Crisis Response Center:

Lord Ragan II just walked in to the base when somone approached him.
"Hey you. I want anti-aircraft missiles fired at all other missiles. I want you to trick any commercial aircraft in the area to cross paths with the missles. Oh. and I want "The Turtle" fired at Terre Nationale's capitol. Got it?"
"Yes sir." Said the unidentified cadet. Most missiles were shot down but some managed to hit cities. Many lives were lost!

Info: This slow moving missile has a tank that is air tight with a special strain of Virus 1837832. It is a mix of acid and microscopic bugs. When it reaches the target location it explodes in mid-air and the virus is released into the air. Virus 1837832 once inhaled it travels to the feet and startes to eat the vains and nerves.

7 Minutes Later:

A siren was ringing all throughout the base which told everyone to get into a HazMat suit immediatly!
"Attention. Attention. "The Turtle" will be launched in aprox. 8 minutes and counting!" Someone said over a PA system as a convaer belt rolled the giant missile out onto a platform. Just as quickly as the proccess had started it was coming to an end.
"10. 9. 8. 7. 6. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. FIRE IN THE HOLE!" Said someone said as a huge cloud of smoke filled the base and the missile was off!

All at once sirens started to whine all throughout the great nation.
"Sir we have detected nuclear missiles heading towards all major government esstablisments!" Said Lord Ragan II's assistant while running in to his office!

" Good evening everyone. My name is John and I am reporting live on the Talentay Nuclear Masacer! Today aprox. 5 million people were killed today from several nuclear explosions. Most of the rebllion in the nation has ceased and the people have actually joined together and are urging the Dictator to launch a full invasion of Terre Nationale! As you can see behind me some people have actualy taken to the streets in front of the dictator's house and are doing everything from burning Terre Nationale flags to hanging and shooting fake stuffed dummies of the Terre Nationale leader! Aparently the public here in Talentay want the blood of the Terre Nationale leader to be shed! While the dictator stands by what General Gandly and himself stated earlier that a full invasion at this moment would not be a wise move he is calling on all of his allys to help with clearing the destruction that has happened here in Talentay. We also have news that Talentay has officialy closed its borders and trade with them. The Dictator has vowed that he will shoot down any plane and sink any boat that is from Terre Nationale or has a citizen of their's on board. We also now know that The Royal Gaurd has orders to arrest any citizens of Terre Nationale that may be in Talentay. So far they have about 26 of their citizens so far in custody and there are reports that they are torturing them for information! This has been Jogn reporting live. Thank you and good night!"

OOC: Only one missile was launched at you.

After John was killed off by one of the nuclear explosions in Talentay, the leadership of the Free Republic was plenty mad. While the slaying of a diplomat was no small thing; the launching of nuclear weapons upon a nation for no known reason was just sheer stupidity. No, more than that... it was lunacy!

There were only two possibilities being talked about in this situation. On the one hand, they could justify allying with Talentay to invade Terre Nationale; or they could just skip that part and nuke them instead. It was eventually decided to send a message to what remained of Talentay, and see if they wanted to start a joint invasion of Terre Nationale.

We desire to know if you would entertain a joint conventional invasion of the nation of Terre Nationale. After John was killed off by one of the nuclear explosions in Talentay, the leadership of the Free Republic was plenty mad. While the slaying of a diplomat was no small thing; the launching of nuclear weapons upon a nation for no known reason was just sheer stupidity. No, more than that... it was lunacy!

There were only two possibilities being talked about in this situation. On the one hand, they could justify allying with Talentay to invade Terre Nationale; or they could just skip that part and nuke them instead. It was eventually decided to send a message to what remained of Talentay, and see if they wanted to start a joint invasion of Terre Nationale.

(Sorry took me so long. And Besides, I wasn't just randomly "n00k(ing) em'" I wanted the bombs to hit his only governmental buildings. Not to glass his entire nation. Besides, Nuclear Clean-Up RP alays brings in some good diplomatic RP.)

The "Turtle" missile was locked onto by three anti-ballistic satellites, which all promptly fired three missiles, destroying the supposed retaliatory nuclear strike. (Yes, I know ICly that it's payload was a virus.) Another two BM's also waited to counter the missiles, in case some magically way the "Turtle" had not been destroyed by the sattelites' volley.

Grand Pother Finns looked over the battle plans. Numbers were not the only way to win a war, strategy would play a key part. (Map soon, though it's probably not going to help too much.) The may be a long one, but he prepared his nation for a bunkering down of threw out the world. Order 51ab-Ground Lock Down was ready to commissioned and the unmanned missile system sites already had their targets in, they simply needed to correct code from the correct rank of general. Finns looked to Vorheez, "Activate Order 51ab-Ground Lock Down." His chest was pushed out as the heavy words left his chest. They would certainly go down fighting.

Chief General Kregg received the order from a transition, specifically to his section Ground-Alpha 01. "Kregg. You and I have had our differences, in the past and even right now. But our nation needs to secure your section and call all 'civilians' on Order 51ab-Ground Lock Down. An ocean of men will be coming at us, but they will break on our mountains." Kregg almost teared up, for Order 51ab-Ground Lock Down the Nationale government would have to have dug themselves in deep, very deep. He knew his protest had gone unheard, so he should have tried harder. But that was in the past, and he would have to make up for it now.

Redd King was washing the dishes as he got home from school. Redd's mother was cleaning up in the kitchen with him. The King family, just like everyone else in Terre Nationale, had been drilled for Order 51ab-Ground Lock Down and new exactly what to get. So within the hour they were packed and got on the Government truck to their specific sections. They road for about an hour before they saw a massive hole in a cave road. They drove in and everyone unpacked. All the lights were artificial. Everyone let down there stuff around, but the troops ordered them to go deeper into the cave, the quickly came across an already established town. Liberte, the first city of Terre Nationale. The lights made it similar to an actual large city in the day.
