Well, I just asked what the pet policy was. That was all.

Students living on campus are permitted pets that do not cause major sanitary, health, or safety problems. Pets that damage property or continually disturb neighbours must be relocated at the owner's expense.

Students living in SU-owned student villages are subject to the same rules as those on campus, though they are virtually unenforced.

THose residing in the Émannsaari (HOA-like "republics" governed by resident students) are subject to only the laws imposed by their community. THese vary. FOr example, Shaviton, the Socialist commune, does not permite pets at all, while South Argyll permits anything that will not kill you.

Just a wee bit of nit-picking. I feel like the character list should be in the OOC/Sign-Up thread, not the IC.

On a different note, I have a question about logistics. A lot of people have listed their students as studying some form of politics. Many of them just said "politics," others said "international politics," and a couple listed actual courses that you have provided. However, for the benefit of ease and promoting interaction in the thread, do you think we should RP it as one (or at most two) two politics classes (rather than doing all of the specific different ones and levels). Just a thought. Responses?

We're just going to have one large class covering a wide area of study. The class will begin ICly whenever people want it to (i.e. after the first people start RPing going to that class whenever that happens to be).

As is, this is starting out to be a bit disorganised, but a good dose of fluid timing should fix it.

Kirav i got a question are you going to have like one main character and just play limited secondary characters or you going to have a hope bunch main characters you play. That might not make senses but its the best way i could put it.

I just see one problem with you playing as every NPC, and that is what if, for some reason, you don't have access to a computer for three weeks or something? Would the RP grind to a stop, or is there a time limit of some sorts? I know it'd suck if I had to wait three weeks just get a yes or a no. How about this:
If you don't respond as an NPC within 24 hours, and the interactions with the NPC are insignificant as to the story of the college(IE: NPC students asking questions out of interest.) then we can RP the convo so as to keep the RP from slowing down to a screeching halt.

Well, I intro'ed my character and got no interaction. As for my teacher, I think, though I'm not sure, that I will wait to introduce her until the class begins.

I'm assuming we're just doing the dorm system on campus; that's how I talked in my intro post...

I think Kirav detailed a couple of different options: typical dorms, frat-esque houses, and communities. I'm not getting it quite like, but something along those lines.

My character is just doing a normal dorm.

Aye, that's a good point, HM. I'll go with your idea then, of a 24-hour time limit.

DMG: With the exception above, I do indeed control the NPCs. But you can certainly bring in some more characters, like visiting family, or a spectator at a game.

On another note, I suppose that most of you have noticed that I've been out for two days. I do apologise for this. I was, and, to a degree, still am, reasonably ill, and have been a bit overcrowded with my own RL affairs. I shall however, try to catch up and keep up.

It seems that there are a couple of these type of things going on. Atopiana, I will let you proceed for now, but could I have some info on what the IEI is trying to acheive here?
