Logan and Ky's one billionth citizen was born in the unstable northern province of fenrare. Shortly upon the childs birth in one of the regions few hospitals, the child and several other people were killed in a bomb blast which was targeting the wounded Kyan soldiers in the hospital. These sort of the attacks have characterized the still ongoing Kyan civil war, although the rebels are now classified as mere terrorists since most of them were killed or driven out of the country in heavy fighting earlier this year. The rebels still hold de facto control over a few small, isolated regions in the far north.

Later in that same day, the actual billionth Kyan citizen was born in the capital city of Tyrin's. The child is named Sergei Isakov, and was born into a family with a proud tradition of military service.

OOC: Wouldn't the billionth citizen be born before you reach 1,000,000,000 population because citizens who are dead are no longer counted in your population?

Certainly. This group started out as a political organization in one of our largest cities. They quickly became inundated with anarchists and extreme leftists. Before too long, they were broadcasting and recruiting across the country. Eventually they had over 100,000 angry youth at their disposal. Some were religious and ethnic minorities, but some were just generally discontent with the government. Pretty soon we began to see isolated attacks. These were small at first, maybe a few kids in bandanas setting off a pipe bomb, but they soon escalated. Finally, one week, it just all exploded. The city of Lennonton was siezed by the rebels, and elsewhere across the nation the rebels emerged with assault rifles, rpg's, and other weapons we had no idea they were capable of obtaining. Our military was quickly mobilized. Thousands of tanks and millions of troops killed our forced the rebels to withdraw wherever we could. Before a few weeks were up, the majority of the nation was well under our control. Lennonton, however, was still held by the rebel forces. A massive simultaneous naval and land assault was then launched, we had forces come in from all sides. We lost several hundred good men, but we managed to take back the city and kill or capture all of the 10,000 or so rebels holed up there. Now the fighting has calmed down, but we still usually dont go a whole week without hearing about some isolated rebel group bombing a school or shooting up a military parade.

We of Faxanavia feel the pain that the people of Logan and Ky must be experiencing. Anna Marie Xatan, Faxanavia's 1 billionth citizen, was brutally murdered along side her parents just a few days after her return home. In her memory, we have dedicated the Anna Marie Xatan Foundation, started by Etoile Arcture. It seeks to provide aid for underfunded families and keep their children safe and cared for. The Anna Marie Xatan Foundation is currently funded by several private entrepreneurs in Faxanavia, as well as the Faxanavian government. We wish to provide Sergei and his family with aid from the Anna Marie Xatan fund, in remembrance of his importance to Logan and Ky.
