Cyprian, who has been imprisoned since January 2006, has been released today, and has reportedly wept tears of gratitude and begged for forgiveness, which Papa readily granted.
'Papa J.L. truly does love all his children, and I am so happy he would welcome me back with open arms, even though I...misbehaved,' Cyprian told a national audience.
Cyprian and Papa, whose friendship dates to their childhood, are said to have reconciled, and Papa even appointed Cyprian First State Commissioner, a position which has replaced the Chancellory.
