Some time ago, I saw a person try to have a ‘racial war’ RP. It was a good try, but it treated everyone so badly (besides whites) that I will not even describe it. This person then asked how to make a racial war without being racist. To tell the truth, that may be impossible, but the person could’ve at least tried to make the races equal (which they are). The person wanted an example of a racial war without being racist, but since that was a while ago, that person might not be on NS any more. I will post this anyway so that (hopefully) no one would make the mistake that person did again.

Notes:
• Racial wars WILL be racist, no matter what. If it isn’t racist, it isn’t a racial war, is it?
• The Ethnicities in a racial war (in the US) would have to at least include Whites, Blacks, and Hispanics. In the painstakingly long example, I put more, but you don’t have to.
• Treat all ethnicities as equally as possible. But in some circumstances, you have to be slightly racist (even though you are not). For example, If a racial war you made started because of Islamic Militants, you would have the majority of the people disliking Muslims. If a racial war started because the KKK hanged multiple “colored”, as they call it in the 40’s, people, then the majority of the people would dislike whites. People stereotype, so make it as realistic as possible.
• You could use the example below to start a Racial War thread, if you want.
• I am sort of a… umm… noob-ish, I guess, because I don’t RP that much, since I have been busy. So if anyone can improve this example, feel free to do so.

Nations
Dark Blue: The United States of America. Or what’s left of it anyway. They want to bring order back, but cannot decide on a leader even after voting. Capital is New York City.
Light Blue: Joined Canada ( I couldn’t think of anything else)
Light Purple: Republic of Hawaii. Capital is Honolulu
Purple: Nuevo Latino America. Mexico and other Latin American nations refused to let in refugees, so the Latin Americans wanting to go back to their home nations were forced to stay here. Capital is Los Angeles but because of the violence in the area, it was moved to Phoenix
Magenta: Republic of Alaska. Capital is Anchorage (I know the RL capital is Juneau or however you spell it)
Red: The American Indian Nation. It Consists mostly of former Navaho Nation in Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado, and the state of Oklahoma. Capital is Flagstaff, Arizona.
Orange: The Three Republics of True America. These republics believe in racism against all but whites. Capitals are: Tallahassee, Omaha, and Dallas.
Light Orange: The Republic of California. Believes in democracy and anti-racism, but is too far from the remaining USA. Most of the population is Asian (about 85%). Capital is Sacramento.
Yellow: Nation of Deseret. Deseret is the nation of the Mormons. A small patch of the nation is/was in the eastern suburbs of Phoenix, but it was evacuated. Capital is Salt Lake City.
Light Green: United States of America Arab Ethnicity Evacuation Zone. The Arabs living in the United States were caught in a racial war that they didn’t want to participate in. Most people thought that they would terrorize the nation, but most wanted to go to their home nations. So the US decided to create an ‘evacuation zone’ for Arabs. Meanwhile they fight against the ‘Three Republics’
Green: Black America. After the Three Republics declared independence and raped many African-Americans, the African-Americans declared Independence in South-Eastern US. Capital is Savannah.
Olive Green: The States of Deitschland (not to be confused with Deuschland, the German name for Germany). The small Amish population saw their chance to declare independence, and did. Because that they were spread mainly all over Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and Canada, they decided to migrate to Mifflin, Juniata, Perry, Cumberland, York, Adams, and Lancaster Counties in Pennsylvania. Capital is Lancaster (city).

Ethnicities
Whites: Most, if not all, are in the Three Republics, Deseret, The Republic of California, The Republic of Alaska, Deitschland, the United States, or moved to Canada.
Blacks: Most, If not all, are in Black America, The Republic of California, The United States of America, or moved to Canada
Hispanics: Most, if not all, are in Nuevo Latino America, The Republic of California, The United States of America, or moved to Canada.
Asian: Most, if not all, are in The Republic of California, The United States of America, or moved to Canada
Arab: Most, if not all, are in the United States of America Arab Ethnicity Evacuation Zone, the United States of America, The Republic of California, or moved to Canada.

Consider this:

Do the various races in your country live in separate areas?

Does Race N live in area Y while Race M lives in area X?

Then you will have a regular civil war.

Do they share the same neighborhoods?

Then it may end up even more bloody and violent, with all civilization collapsing, the trains not going on time and the mail not delivered.

I'm not really getting what you mean, but most of the people (in my example) 'migrated' to theie new nations according to their race. The example, well, is just an example; I don't want everyone to pick on a 'noob' because he didn't know that something wasn't allowed. So, I hope people new to Nation States read this and learn something.

Haha. Let's start an RP based of this. After enough times, some random event should happen. Ex: one of the faction get a civil war because some want peace, and some want war....

And there must be support from the outer nations to the faction respectively because of the races. Ex: The Arabs(Wait? Only Arabs? How about the other Muslim races? I think they must be belong to here too) get support from the ME , The Indonesia- Malaya, Afghanistan, Pakistan. Et ceteria. And some important event will be happened in the globe.

Ex: Israel military power reduced significantly, the Arabs successfully launched a Jihad (in form of military attack) against it.

And the other important power is... time. How about the deployed American soldier in the lands far far away? To what faction they reinforce? This is the most important thing, as this can change the whole battle. I suggest by using the dice software in the Internet.

Also, will other nation be take part of this struggle? Canada is surely is, as it will try to enlarge it's influences. Mexico, maybe. How about the 3 Main USA enemy? NK, Iran, Venezuela? Of course, China will be the superpower, she will at least support one faction. Sending military aids, to the Californians maybe. Russia will, too, with their resources, maybe spread communism ;) (once again)

And, how will diplomacy will be done? I know the 3 republics would be hate by almost all. But the California and the Afro-Americans may allied. And, how are the populations calculated? There must be many who died in the day (and some months following it) the riot.

@PS: There are 2 kind of Jihad. One to self, other to, emm, it is vague, but the kind of Jihad all Nationalistic Arabs are saying. If you flame at this, than you must not read histories. The Salahuddin march was Jihad, Nuruddin was, and many other was (and the 1sts Khalifah attack to Islamize the religion ALSO a Jihad.)

Take a chill pill you two! I do see the problems some of our more politically correct members of society might pick out, but remember:
1) If it's In Character, any problems? No, as it is not directed towards anyone.
2) The forum has no rule against racism: you can hold racist views if you want, and I'm not complaining.

Overall, I honestly would find no problem in a WELL RP'ed war with racism such as that happening, and would only see the most sensitive or politically correct people crawling out of the woodwork to take potshots at them. Just as long as it doesn't spread to OOC comments.
