OOC: Don't mind the infiltration godmod please, the Emperor goes to great lengths to surprise people
The Malus agent had successfully completed its mission and was headed for the evac point. The package was headed for Anastasia's hands as he boarded the stealth helecopter that would take him back to Belkaros. The package was a letter from Emperor to Empress, written by hand by the Emperor, so it was obviously important. The letter read:

Dearest Anastasia,
It has been far too long since we last saw each other at your gala. I was hoping you could join me for lunch in Ixanian-Belkaros. Your little colony is one of the more beautiful cities in the region, quite fitting for its owner, and I know an amazing Belkan-style resteraunt. If you would oblige me, please contact my personal phone (1-555-EMPEROR, the Public Works gave me that number as a birthday present) at any time. I can't remember the time delay between our nations at the moment, so don't feel bad if you wake me.

OOC: Do not worry about it, I understand. Empress Anastasia is currently still on her World Tour but I can still RP her visiting Emperor Gnaeus regardless. As for Ixanian Belkaros; it is composed of only one city? I was thinking that it was more than that; since I did not really have any information about it.

IC: Empress Anastasia studied the letter in silence; remembering not only the fact that Gnaeus had been a guest at her gala and that he had proposed marriage to her but that he was leading a purge in his nation. Despite all of this, the Empress felt glad to meet Gnaeus after so long and quickly replied to him. Instead of writing a letter, she decided to call him personally. During the morning or so in Belkaros, Gnaeus could hear the voice of a refined young woman on his phone; it was none other than Empress Anastasia II. "Good day to you, Gnaeus. I recieved your letter and I must say that it would be a pleasure to meet you. If you know when it is a good day to visit, then please tell me so I may prepare."

OOC: I think we can just skip ahead a bit; so I can post Anastasia arriving in Belkaros.

OOC: The colony is the size of a Greek city state, or Hong Kong Island, a metropolis with surrounding farms, streams, mountains ect.

The lunch was schedueled for the next thursday, at 12:00 sharp. The Emperor had bought out the entire balcony of the resteraunt, and the sun danced along the vacant tables and in the ice water that filled his glass. He was dressed casually, wearing his favorite pair of Puma sneakers, a collared shirt with the sleeves rolled up and a pair of khaki pants. He waited patiently for the Empress to arrive.

OOC: An Ixanian version of Hong Kong sounds alright.

Empress Anastasia had decided to wear a simple outfit; an informal business suit with a medium length skirt. It made her look distinguished even if it was informal. When she found Gnaeus, she smiled at him as she took her seat at the table; adjusting her skirt briefly. "It is a pleasure to meet you again, Gnaeus. I still remember you from the gala; and I am glad to be here in Ixanian Belkaros; it truly is a lovely place."

The Empress took a sip of her water and smiled. "How have things been for you since the gala, Gnaeus? I have heard of the purge you have ordered; it was surprising to hear but I do not wish to pressure you to stop it; nor will I send any soldiers against you. As long as you do not become bloodthirsty, I shall not think of you as a mass murderer worthy of forced abdication."

The Empress took another sip of her water. "Let us discuss something else now. How has your reign been? Mine has been alright; I had to deal with a massacre that occured at a hotel in Ixania's capital city and I have made new friends in other nations. My sister, Princess Catherine, is still in Alfegos while my brother, Alexander, has been meeting Princess Daria of Delkor. Everything has been good for me, my family and my nation."

OOC: An Ixanian version of Hong Kong sounds alright.

It is the will of my people, however, and I am but their servent. I must admit, this restaurant is one of my favorites, and I somewhat regret that it fell within the colony's borders, as I now have to pay to eat here."

As the Emperor finished speaking, a waiter appeared, a tall, broad Belkan man with a smiling face, who deposited menus in front of the leaders and refilled their water. Anastasia seemed a bit lost in the Belkan-Latin of the menu, so Gnaeus made recomendations. "The Nordus Sea salad is an amazing appetizer, lightly grilled whitefish minced with oil and tossed in native greens. The Belkan Grade-A t-bone and prime rib steaks are to die for. Or for a more vegitarian fare, the Pasta Colonus is good, farm fresh Belkan vegetables sauteed in white wine and olive oil, served with grain pasta. As for the beverage, I will hear no arguement. You must try our Rosa de Belka or Albus de Belka red or white wine is perfect."

"A glass of wine during lunch is a Belkan custom, a celebration of every meal as a blessing. We were not always so prosperous, and dinner was the first meal skipped in times of famine." said Gnaeus. The waiter retiurned, took their order and filled their glasses, the Emperor's red wine contrasting Anastasia's white. He raised his glass, "To friendship" he said, offering his glass foreward. After the toast, the two raised their glasses and drank. "Well, what do you think?" inquired Gnaeus.

"Every meal is a blessing; not every family in the world is able to find an adequate supply of food. In Ixania, we try to make sure that everyone is able to have food and shelter; that is why we have welfare and social assistance programs. As for the wine, I must say that it has a good taste to it. I have tried several different kinds of wine before. If possible, perhaps you could give me a bottle or two of Belkan wine; red and white."
