Race of Lizard People found off Coast

A major discovery has been made off the coast of Zackaroth. The chain of four islands has been found to hold an amphibious race of lizard like people. The discovery came two days ago when scientist Fredrick Mcgowen was taking a team of fellow scientists to explore the diverse wildlife of the islands. The people are said to be friendly and surprisingly, can speak our language quite well. They are said to live in tribes that span across the four islands, ruled by one single powerful tribe. Every fifty years, the tribe that is the head of the pack is rotated to another tribe.

Dr. Mcgowen believes that old stories found in ancient Zackarothian ruins, describe the lizard they have just discovered, forming the idea that in the past, Zackaroth used to hold the beings until that strip of land broke off and became the island chain. If this is the case then, many scientists now believe that other stories of animal people may be true and Zackaroth may have once been home to many different types of species of humanoids.

The lizard people call themselves Argonians and are a peaceful people. While they do hold standing armies, they are on par with medieval weaponry. They have no have need to move beyond because of how rare war breaks out between tribes. They live in swampy and moist conditions and can live in fresh and salt water. A meeting is scheduled today between the High leader and a ambassador of Argonian people to discuss future plans and how each nation can assist one another. It is expected that Zackaroth will offer military protection and supplies for a small amount of resources the islands carry.

Recently, off the coast of a coastal nation- Zackaroth, a new group of humanoid and intelligent beings have been discovered. The newly coined 'Lizardmen' apparently have a grasp of many of the planet's native languages.

The research center is supposedly to help discover where precisely this odd species arose, and if they are an isloated incidence or if they exist in other dense areas.

The High Leader read the the note from Cazelia and merely scoffed. " Fools. Don't they know everyone was looking for a reason to invade them? Besides I doubt people are going to risk a war to kill a few thousand Lizard People. I won't even bother sending them a yes or no back. Really now. Who would make such a fuss to start a war over this" Aimless said, before returning to his chambers.

During this crises, we saved countless thousands of innocent lives from slaughter-houses and camps. These "anthropomorphs" now reside peacefully within our borders and have the same rights as a human being, and enjoy the rights of citizenship. They participate in every aspect of life, without fear of violence or hatred. For they are one of us, seeing as we cared when others did not.

If we find one trace of militiristic intentions towards these lizard creatures, we as a Nation will consider it an act of war and will therefore respond as if we ourselves were invaded. We will respond with force, with military might, and with the intent to obliterate and engage in genocide against any nation that attempts to destroy these peaceful lizardmen.

Biologists, examining the DNA of the Lizard-Men have discovered an odd mystery. A large portion of the Lizard Men DNA is completely inactive, not in the sense of being 'Junk DNA' but stopped by a strange sequence of Carbon-Carbon and Nitrogen-Nitrogen pairs before it.

When this sequence is seperated in stem cells, an odd protein is produced that is similar in all manners to Steroids.
