It was a dark, rainy evening in Colovan, a remote town in Northern Belkaros. The buildings had been constructed to handle 200+ inmates per day. Mental hospitals and prisons across Belkaros had been preparing for this purge for some time. Tonight, the gene pool would be purged. Tonight, evolution would end its stagnation in the human genome.
The train screeched to a halt outside the facility. Felons, rapists, psycopaths, sociopaths and the mentally disabled were herded out of their cars and onto a platform, and from the platform into a small, featureless room with stainless steel walls and no doors or windows, only vents. The door behind them slammed closed, and the oxygen in the room was evacuated.
Ten minutes later, the floor, now stacked high with corpses, lowered to a processing center where blood was filtered and drained, organs were processed for reuse, and muscle was snipped away to reuse tendons and feed livestock.

Back in Belkar:
A tall, thin bald man dressed in plain Belkan Dress robes stepped into the office of Gnaeus Mundus I. He bowed low to his emperor, the dim evening lighting reflecting off his bald head. "Emperor, it has begun. The first shipment has been scucessfully processed. So far, the program still has a 89.2% public approval rating, which is projected to reach 93% with the tax cuts from decreased prison and hospital spending. "
The Emperor meditated on this information for a moment before speaking. "Janus, the details of your program must never be fully revealed. I will be remembered as a Hitler! We must be very careful to use the center only as intended. If we send political dissidents, lesser felons or societal undesirables there, we will be lost to totalitarianism. We must use it only to destroy those beyond redemption, and all of the funds must go back to the people. May God have mercy on our souls for what we have begun." The Emperor sat down in a chair near his fireplace and stared reflectivley into the coals.

Across the nation, trains were being loaded, and the Belkan Purge had begun.

Marshal Wilhelm Von Dredicburg walked into the study to find Foreign Minister Aethius Runstidus sitting in an armchair directly across from the Emperor, sitting in his swivel chair and looking quite sick. He seriously looked like he was about to puke.
"What's wrong, sir?" the middle-aged Marshal inquired.
"Take a look at what's going on in Belkaros," Heinrich explained, handing the note over to Von Dredicburg. The Marshal read it. He looked horrified as well.
"We shouldn't tolerate this."
"What should we do, though? We can't just declare war!"
"Condemn their actions."
"Oh." And with that, the young Emperor composed a letter to the Belkan Emperor.

Dear Your Majesty Emperor Gnaeus Mundus I,

I have gotten word of what is transpiring in your nation, and the thought that your government could approve of, much less sponsor, such an activity sickens me. It also disturbs and dissapoints me that someone of your stature would resort to this. I am hereby requesting--no, demanding, in the name of the lives being claimed, that you cease this genocide at once. As it is, I shall be recalling all non-diplomatic Achae-Ottonian nationals from your nation at once.

The actions of my government are controversial to be sure, but I believe that they are in the Imperium’s best interest. The people and their elected representatives are almost completely united in this belief, and though it may seem barbaric, the Belkan people have deemed this purge to be necessary. I will do my best to explain the logic behind these seemingly reprehensible actions.
As medical technology, pharmacology, physical therapy and life support systems have proliferated in Belkaros, the number of people depending on these technologies has skyrocketed. No longer does the engine of evolution churn the human gene pool. People birth defects and physical and mental problems that should be fatal are surviving to produce children with similar disabilities. Schools and hospitals are choking on an unending tide of the disabled, each needing special treatment and care. Regular students are being hindered by them, and doctors who could be treating the healthy waste valuable time on them. No more! Belkaros will cut itself free of the burdens of the unfit! With the funds wasted every year on these individuals, we will be able to provide more comprehensive education programs. The hospitals once used on this human refuse will be converted into Community Centers and free clinics.
As to the cleansing of the prisons, the motive is simple, keeping an inmate alive is expensive. The prisoners executed are rapists, drug runners, murders, terrorists and grand larcenists. These despicable creatures cost trillions of Credits per year, and the majority of them are serving life sentences. This program will also serve as an excellent deterrent of future crime. The Credits saved will go into more comprehensive medical and education services, as well as neighborhood revival programs and domestic aid.
I beg that any nation considering going to war over this issue realize the foolishness of their actions. Sacrificing the lives of your honorable warriors to free the scum of my society is ludicrous. The organ donor waiting period had jumped from 6 months to 6 weeks. The first prison had recently closed its doors. The Purge was working, and a second center was soon to be added to the first.

Based on such principle, the "Final Solution to the Crime Question" which ironic name is perhaps due to sarcasm and cynicism of the Internet Culture abroad the Confederacy with its abortions like 4chan TV, was justified as a way to eventually "free the honest, decent people from the tyranny of would-be fascists and human scum", and no matter criticisms that might have surfaced before on this, never internationally mentioned practice, despite still being a serious issue, crime has reduced drastically in the last years compared to the rampant escalation it had 2 years ago, and has brought as immediate result the screening of, as expected, the weakest criminal organizations, first, although the primary target, the so called Medellin Family, although weakened and not having its former glory, is still on the active.

However, it should be remembered that use of lethal force is only for heinous criminals, for criminals like petty thieves, there is still hope in the form of the Communitarian Island, not a prison per se, as in fact they are not given times in years or months of how much they will be forced stay there, but even if they wanted to leave, they would first have to establish the necessary infrastructure to build their own boat there and keep themselves fed during that with the farming and construction supplies provided, and that would require spirit of cooperation among them, rather than each thief stealing the other's food and supplies. In these two years, a few of those islands have become small, safe, prosperous towns and villages built by the hands, hard work and cooperation of those who were before petty criminals, proving once again as a much more effective way of rehabilitation than prisons... for those who have chances of being rehabilitated, as nobody is blindly idealistic to believe someone like a rapist or mass murderer could be rehabilitated, and those instead are administered with the cheap, fast solution of a bullet to their heads by the hand of any armed civilian witnessing their crimes.

On another entirely different issue, it is a commonly held belief that there is no form of sentience in a fetus, and abortions of fetuses detected to be mentally retarded are a common practice in all places besides the Christian commune of Fatima. Note to the more sensitive, liberal and "politically correct" prick and pot-smoking hippie who thinks disarming innocent and honest civilians is the solution to all mankind problems, who might or not be reading this and felt offended by the use of the word mentally retarded: as a "policy of honesty", it's believed that euphemisms associated with the "political correctness", which was born in totalitarian States like Hitler's Germany and Stalin's Soviet Union, are nothing but guises for potential doublespeak and doublethink and thus discouraged in the Confederacy.

Finally, however, lies the more bright side of the coin, the much more effective voluntary and liberal eugenics program which has began as a privately funded initiative, allowing people to have designer babies free of charge with focus on three primary potential virtues: intelligence, honesty and hard-work. Not only this is much more effective than forced negative eugenics programs by centralized and authoritarian States, but it also is essential to actually further the progress of the gene pool, and infinitely more important than the use of lethal force against criminals and than the limitless right to abortion, as people should not be forced to follow the morals of a singular religious group, but have the right of establishing their own morals as long as they do not harm living and sentient human beings.

"WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT FROM BELKAROS?", it would be the expected question for a criticizer among the liberals. First, and most important of all. There is no form of oppression being done against people based merely on attributed genetic code, only against those who manifest negative, harmful influences probably originated from the genome like homicidal drives or will to rape. Second, mentally retarded people are not killed just because they were born this way, as it's not their fault. Third, it is an organic process, from bottom to top rather than imposed by a centralized State, and some communes and people have refused to implement or support it, seeking to find and prove effective alternative solutions instead, as is their inalienable right to do. While our government has not taken an official stance at home yet, we have concluded that a possible compromise can be reached that will satisfy all parties involved.

This compromise is simple: an unending war. All parties currently suffering from overpopulation, especially from "undesirables" such as hard felons, murderers, etc. may simply draft all such persons into a conscript army that will be promptly sent off to some far-flung front to die for king and country. By doing this, all nations involved will not only be ridding themselves of menaces that are facing the death penalty anyways, but can also stir patriotic sentiment at home. A winless war gentlemen, is in fact a win-win situation. As long as a strict confidence and agreement is maintained, our nations will benefit.

Again, just a modest proposal. If all else fails, we can always just eat the Irish.

Dear brothers of the world,

While it is understandable that such inexcusable acts go on in other nations, the United Republic itself can not and will not engage in any action against such a pathetic excuse for a military, and/or government. I have racked my brain, but I am still unable to understand how a nation can value the right to soverign rule, yet attempt to deny my people their right to punish criminals and deal with disease as we se fit. I am not acting alone in this matter. This issue was voted on in the Belkan Parliment, who's voice is constantly a guiding force in my decision making. We feel that it is in our nation's best interest, and indirectly the best interest of those nations who may someday need our aid, to deak with these economic leeches in this way.

The other issue plauging me is this: how do you justify the needless sacrifice of hundereds if not thousands of soldiers to stop killing? You would sacrifice the innocent for the sinful. I understand the need to deter ethnic cleansing, and have involved my nation in military conflicts to that end, but this is not an ethnic cleanse, it is an economic and social liberation.

I sincerley hope war can be avoided, and am completley open to peaceful negotiations. Perhaps your nations are willing to harbor them. Perhaps your scientists can cure the ills mine cannot. I will not, however, stop the Cleanse until an alternative solution is found.

Investigator Jack Keel sat at Pier 32 waiting for the Transport that would take him to Belkaros. Keel and ten other investigators were had been prepared for the journey through the rough waters of Xanadou, as well as possible attack by Red Tide ships that could mistake them for a military transport. The group was listening to Rammstien-Amerika (http://youtube.com/watch?v=4w9EksAo5hY). Cazelians usually liked music of that genre, and it was usually played by Marines before battle to get them pumped with adrenaline. The ship arrived several hours later, and the men boarded with their 20' strong force of bodyguards.

Somwhere over the ocean, en-route to Belkaros...

Nesvlov glanced warilly at the Commissar assigned to be his 'bodyguard', a euphemism for watchdog. His staff consisted of twelve men. There was Nevlov, five other Foreign Ministry aides, and six Commissar's, armed with only sidearms. The primary job of the Commissar's, Nesvlov knew, was to make sure that none of the negotiation team tried to defect, or say something traitorous, or anything like that. The function of preventing assassinations was merely secondary.

Nesvlov had no intention of defecting anyways, he had a family(which were not coming on this trip) that he had no intention of sacrificing, plus, being a high-ranking Foreign Ministry Official did have its benefits...

And so Nesvlov, his aides, and his 'bodyguards' sat onboard the private aircraft, flying in a aircraft to a foreign nation to participate in the negotiations that the lives of many depended upon...

IN BELKAROS:

Ten camps had been established, 183,000 had been processed, and Belkaros was prospering. Tons of phosphorus fertalizer was being produced from the dead and shipped across the nation. Organ banks were at capacity, and the odds of finding a successful donor had increased 100 fold. Hospital beds were empty.
The first Imperial Urban Restoration teams had been set to work restoring playgrounds and libraries, and four Recreational Centers were being constructed.
Civilian Armory stations had also been opened, as the threat of war loomed. All Imperial Domestic Reservists reported for duty, and assault rifles were issued to civilians who had served Belkaros in the past. Civilian Defense Bunkers were opened and stocked to house refugees and civilian warriors. Precautions against gas and viral warfare were taken by issuing gas masks, and the Domestic AMS was tested and retested. If war was to come, the Belkan people would be ready to fight to the last to defend their homes.

BELOW NORDAMUS MOUNTAIN, NORTHERN BELKAROS:

All Belkan military units had been recalled. The subterranean fortress of Nordamus was one of several similar hive structures, home to the Imperial Army when the homeland was threatened. Tanks were armed, missiles were fueled, and guns were cleaned. Centurion hybrid soldiers were being outfitted with new bionic limbs (OOC-Not FT, geneticly/cyberneticly enhanced soldiers are regular NS issues) and Malus teams were training around the clock in simulations of real Belkan streets. Belkaros would not fall.

The First Kraven Battlefleet: 100 NM's from Norska, The Wehrmacht Capital

The Fleet had broken port several hours ago, each of the vessels were powered by immense reactors that pushed the bow of the vessels through the water with minimal effort, each of the bows rose up against the waves, slicing through the white, foaming waters to then come almost gently, crashing back into the blue water...

The Flagship of the fleet, The Dark Throne II was leading the Naval force, the Wehrmacht Kreigsmarine, this was the new Kraven navy, each of these vessels updated and repaired, brought back to full strength and ready to serve their new masters.

On board, several Oberstgruppenfuhrers stood around the tacops station, surveying possible landing sites and various other details whilst... the various crew of the vessel continued working on their various tasks, from operating radar to keep in contact with the rest of the fleet, once they entered operations range, they would cut communications and maintain radio silence, communicating between vessels using semaphor.

"Our Tactical read outs are showing several possible landing zones, but we have to maintain a non aggressive stance... " A General spoke, pointing at the different highlighted zones...

The Wehrmacht Reich Declares A State of War Against The Nation of Belkaros

He had already told the Prime Minister that Urarail stood no real chance against a nation as large as the Reich. With all due consideration, friends of Red Tide, you have nothing better to say of yourselves. While you claim superiority, it is by brainwashing devices and the inability to control even your own people. Despite this, we saw fit to exchange negotiations to improve our relations with one another. Let it be reminded of Red Tide that it is the belief of Anagonia that there should be no need to a TONE of voice towards us, as we ourselves have stated TIME AND AGAIN of our desire to IMPROVE our relations rather than folly, DESPITE your lack of freedoms for even the children you birth.

My Consideration to initiate hostile actions was an attempt to stabilize the situation which, as I believe, has gone TOO FAR out of control. All Involved,

The Central State of Agrandov and the associated Empire recognises the legitimate actions of the Kraven Wehrmacht, and would like to see justice served by the heel of their boot. As we understand it, the Kraven diplomatic fleet has come under cowardly attack without provocation. The Majestic Empire holds disgust and contempt for those who would make such moves, when they could have easily come under the protective influence of the Kraven Wehrmacht. We too would be loathe to see the malevolent past repeat itself, although we do not yet see the need for bloodshed in this situation.

The Empire will be watching this delicate situation unfold, and urges all foreign powers to disengage with the righteous Kraven fleet. If this unacceptable transgression continue, the Glorious Empire could be obliged to back the Wehrmacht State with more than mere words. Should this nation of Gholgoth be forced into warfare, we would consider a terrible diplomatic failing of those involved.

An early morning haze lit the Agrandan air base, as the pale, low sun hauled itself from East to West just like every other day. A heavy fighter of indigenous and rather generic design made a final pass overhead, the single pilot made ready to land. White contrails were barely visible in the light morning sky, although the roar of the two engines was audible even to those in the reinforced control tower. Garlem Airbase was one of nation's smaller Air Force locales, although its significant feature was its proximity to Agrandov's short coast line. With an early training flight coming to a close, the fighter jet extended its landing gear, lowering the wing flaps as rubber met runway.

A short distance away, within the base's command bunker, high ranking Air Force officials were discussing the current situation in Belkaros. The rumour was that the Empire was preparing for full-scale war, although hard evidence had not arose, and there had been similar false alarms in the past. A Field Marshal was leading a casual morning briefing, marking on an overhead projector the path of the Kraven fleet. Current affairs - especially of the military kind - were eagerly studied by Agrandan officers in order to learn the actions and personalities of any potential allies... or enemies.

One hundred assorted aircraft were held at Garlem, a tiny fraction of the Empire's total force, which itself was rumoured to run into the tens of thousands. Few aircraft were modern, however, relying on proven technology, excellent ground/sea and RADAR support and sheer numbers to dominate the skies. There were no bombers at this base, as those were normally reserved for facilities that could protect them under reinforced hangars. A second heavy fighter taxied onto the runway as the first found an empty hangar, and a second pilot prepared to clock some early hours for the sake of practice.

MUNDUS SQUARE, BELKAR, BELKAROS

Emperor Mundus I stood tall in his full maoist dress uniform on a balcony facing the crowd below him. News cameras from around the world zoomed in on his unusually grim visage. His young face looked weary, and he spoke.
"People of Belkaros, and the world, today I have drawn first blood. After making several efforts to set up peace talks, the Kraven Wehrmacht deployed a large and threatening naval force to Belkan waters. An unmanned, unarmed diplomatic craft with an uplink to my office was sent to intercept the battlegroup to meet with their commander, and the craft was destroyed. I will not negotiate with the gun of occupation to my head, and will not put myself or you, my beloved people in that position. Today, I have sent a message to the world. We will not tolerate being shoved around by idalistic bullies under the guise of justice! We, the Belkan people, serve justice by cleansing ourselves of our human refuse so that we may prosper! We, the Belkan people, serve justice by standing tall in the face of a great enemy! And we, the people of Belkaros will stand united against this threat, giving no quarter and showing no mercy until once again our God-given right to govern ourselvs as we se fit is secure! Glory to the Imperium of Belkaros!"
The crowd screamed in support of their Emperor as a wing of SU-57B fighters flew over the Emperor's head. "Vivo Belkaros! Vivo Mundus!" was chanted in the streets. The Emperor waved to his people and returned to his command center.

It wasn't like Caster to bend to the will of other nations, especially that of Red Tide. It wasn't like him, at all. What the TSRT had mentioned was true, the Foreign Affairs and Activities Office was understaffed and under motived. Their leader placed into a position of authority he did not want. And he, Caster, left with the decisions to change the course of history for the United Republic.

He didn't want to be here, nor to do anything of the sort. But he was. And he knew Red Tide at heart. They were cowards, inwardly and out, ready to buckle at the first sign of pressure. They expressed military might to make you think they had something up their sleeve, and then when things got rough they fell back to their beliefs of being tyrants and slave-raiders. That was all they were, tyrants and cowards.

Thats what he believed, at least. The many Admirals and Generals that made up the Grand Republic Armed Forces knew better. While politically the TSRT Government was a collapse in waiting, their military was the funding priority and their troops and equipment were no laughing matter. While it would be so simple to cut the head off the snake, the snake itself wouldn't die, it would just become some horrible zombie and feast on your flesh after you believed you had victory.

Caster looked across the Situation Room meeting table at the many faces, and many ranks of warriors, that sat across and before him. He sighed. He had been an avid supporter of just wiping Red Tide off the map and getting it over with. Chief Governor Dunan Ruu, however, saw otherwise. He was forced to obey those rulings, even when the Chief Governor was hundreds upon hundreds of miles away.

"I believe I failed in representing authority, gentlemen." Caster looked from one face to the next, "What would be a proper response?"

"Nuke them to hell and call it a win," said the General of the Grand Army. Others chuckled in agreement, but shook their heads afterward. "Seriously though, Caster, your not leadership material and we know it. Don't bother."

"We can't just back off when I said we'd be a part of it!" He slammed his fist, unnecessarily, on the table. Grand Admiral Zeveski tsk'ed Caster.

"Son, you need to calm down before that fist launches nuclear weapons, and we don't need that right now." Zeveski crossed his arms across his chest, "If anything, there is no image to redeem. Chief Governor's away, your in his place, and you screwed up. So what?"

"Seriously Caster," Commandant of the Republic Marines pointed at him as he spoke, "grow some balls and leave it be. Red Tide isn't anything but a wussied up dictator state, and we don't need to prove anything to them other than what we have."

Murmur's of agreement went around the meeting table, Caster held his reluctance. Finally, the General of the Republic Air Force pinned in. She was a good friend of Casters, and he took her words to heart.

"How about we all go home, have a day's rest, and not act?" She smiled, very nonmilitary like, "No one will say anything."

Finally Caster sighed, "Very well. We do nothing. We'll just write Belkan off as a mistake in the first place."

The Spire, Magna Polis;

GRIFFITH-II was sitting in his office, getting the news from around the world from his computer. He'd already gotten the news of the Kraven attack on Belkaros assets, but his Intelligence Director, John Royce, decided that he had to tell the Grand Commander about it. As soon as the man entered the room, GRIFFITH-II cocked his head up. "Sir, Kraven and Belkaros just-" the man said. GRIFFITH-II, without saying a word, had told the man to leave.

Meanwhile, he planned what he should send to Belkaros. Considering KRaven's history on the battlefield, a alrge force would need to be deployed. But since it wasn't an invasion, it'd have to be smaller so that the Belkan people didn't feel like they were being occupied. It'd also have to depend on how many soldiers Kraven would send. Of course, the best authority on troop deployments would have to be the Belkans.

Greetings again. It is apparant that the Kraven Corporation has decided to attempt an invasion. As we promised, we will deploy forces to aid you in defending the Belkaros Nation. However, we do not know how many troops must be sent. Seeing as you are the nation we are sending forces to, we feel you would know better than we would. Please respond with what you believe we should send.

Good sir, I am happy to inform you that under orders of the President of The Imperial Democracy of Cazelia, four companies of Marines will be stationed along you coast, as well as 50 ships and 400 planes. If they are called upon by an ally or are fired upon, they will act.

Accompanying them are 200 Fully armed warriors from the Confederated Tribes of the Kal'Har. They are not men, but great tigers who have taken the brunt of a Londinian biocide and managed to tell the tale.

Be afraid. Be very afraid. If action is taken against the fleet, there is no stopping our men from striking down your tyrannical Dictatorship
Oh, and one more thing; Your communist built fighters are no match for the great agility of the Cazelian F/A-12 Fighter...

President Altair had just finished praying al Asr and was just putting his shoes back on when two of his advisors, Secretary Williams and General Abramsky, entered the room. The General threw down some photos recently taken in Belkaros.

The President looked through them, they were a collection of the military forces prepared, the emperor and other relevant subjects.

"Belkaros is getting ready to fight, several other nations have also joined the conflict," said Williams.

"I see, are all of our forces ready?" Altair responded.

"Yes sir, all military forces are have been placed on alert, those two junge Ergeben companies you asked for are already on the HATDs."

"Get them into the air, I want them in position over anticipated points of attack, tell the Belkaros government we're ready to support them."

"Yes sir."

As the Bevenian fleet steams twords Belka, Activity begins to take place on the Deck of the BNS Ocean. The BNS Ocean was Bevenia's Only Ocean Class Helicopter Assault carrier, and found its self an odd addition to this fleet. For the moment she was acting as a supply ship for the fleet, but the activity taking place was anything but. On her Deck were 2 HV-22B Ospreys, the Navy's varient on the V22 design, and as the fleet reach about 400 nmi from Belkan Airspace, there rotors began to spin. Several men jumped into the back of the Ospreys before taking off in direction twords Blekan Airspace. Not but a few moments later the catapults upon the BNS Intrepid launch 2 F/A 35 Talons with full Combat loads to follow suit as escorts.

Several hundred miles from Cazelia...

The 3rd Amphibious warfare fleet glided through the water, led by the IDS Pilot, an Iwo Jima class assault ship; Filled with both man, machine and beast. On the lower decks, the Kal'Har, sentient tiger creatures discovered only 5 years ago, prepared for possible battle, painting their fur with war with water-mixed powders brought from their homeland; They had brought their spears, blades and Splinter rifles as well, and were a power to be reckoned with

Above one deck the Marines were gearing up, many of them being veterans of previous wars, and a few being Mortun Veterans or former Black Lotus members, who had fought the Londinians in their homeland as well as many other enemies abroad. Most of the Marines were armed with either M96 Stoner rifles or HK416 Carbines. There were several hundred on the Pilot alone, but even ten Marines could take down a shore bunker.

Another level above were the vehicle crewmen. Unlike the infantry, the crewmen were more relaxed. They had finished tuning up their vehicles in Yarkai, and were now writing and drawing on the shells they would possibly fire. many of them were signed with "This one's for Mundus" or "Boom goes the palace". The tankers of the group were going to be the first to test the CZ1 and CZ2 tanks in combat. They were anticipating combat with the patience of a child waiting for a new teddy bear.

At the top of the ship were the Pilots and the paratroopers. They were already equipped and in their helicopters. Above them circled AM-4 CAS birds, launched from two different Nemesis class carriers. These men would be the first to act if the order was given to attack.

But unknown to all these men (As well as General Hasley), there were 15 Ghost elites from the 23rd Division lurking in the shadows of the ship. The 23rd were an all women division, which had it's advantages. I mean, scruffy combat veteran marines can't seduce a Londinian or Belkan soldier. They wore Belkan civilian clothing over top their combat armor, and carried knives and pistols in their clothing, and would be dropped in before the whole battle took place...

Night begins to fall as the 4 Bevenian Aircraft approach Belkan Airspace. The 2 HV-22B begin the accent to the maximum service ceiling as the Special Forces group within the back of one of the Ospreys Preps for there HAHO Jump. the men had begun the prejump breathing for the past hour as were ready to jump into the dark unknown

20 Miles from Belkan airspace, the fighter escorts begin to trail behind the Osprey. The tensions were high as they have been under radio silences for the past 100 Miles, and flying with no AWACS. "2 Minutes" was communicated with hand signs thought belly of the Ospreys.

12 Miles from Belkan airspace, and the gate way of one of the Ospreys opens up. The last orange rays of sunshine can be seen setting at this altitude as the Jump master gives the sign for the Special Forces Group to stand up.

...11 miles.....

10 miles from Belkan Airspace and 26,000 feet up, The Jump Master give the green on the jump as the 8 SOF personnel Step out into the unknown.

"Abort Abort, RTB.... Over" breaks the radio silence from one of the Opsreys. This was a Ploy to fool any Belkan Intelligence observing there flight.

"Roger, RTB, Over" The fighter Escort responded Oblivious to the Insertion mission that just took place.

Second after leaving the aircraft, The SF group deploys there parachutes and begins there slow drift into Belkan Airspace.

As you are personally stationed in Belkaros, I would have imagined that you contained a vested interest in not seeing Agrandan forces on the horizon. If self preservation is something you are willing to wave, however, then threatening communications like your previous message are definitely the way to go. As a peaceful observer of the situation, this is not something we take lightly.

Your "Peace" keepers seek only to monger war against the Kraven Wehrmacht, and this is a war they cannot win. We would advise you to leave Belkaros while there are still airports to fly from, while there are open oceans to facilitate your escape. While there are still safe skies above Belkaros, we advise you to use them.

We have seen the occupations of the old Kraven Corporation, and we do not believe that this incarnation of the Wehrmacht State will be any different. In your position; having threatened punishment for those who would counter your barbaric aims, we would be fortifying our shores against Kraven troops, in case they did not stop with Belkaros.

The Majestic Empire, however, in it's benevolence will grant you one more chance to avoid a total and humiliating defeat. Apologise for your message of blatant warmongering, and control your tongue in future, or you will see it removed at the hands of Agrandan "interrogation" specialists.

I am afraid, however, that any cyborgs that hope for parity with an unadulterated human soldier are strictly PMT. Current technology cannot provide the strength, the efficiency or the power supply demanded for a human-machine hybrid, and any offspring of such a project would be crippled beyond use for anything other than a doorstop. However, for the sake of RP, the tiger people are fully acceptable as long as they are RP'd in battle with the capabilities of regular troops. After all, what does a bullet care if you have fur?

Two HATDs (http://thearmedrepublicofislamajudianity.pbwiki.com/Al-Asad+Arms+Manufacturing) (close to the bottom), High Altitude Troop deployers, stealthily hovered at their maximum service ceiling, 37,000 ft, above the Belkaros coast as ships headed in to make port. Each of the two ships cruised slowly, ready to deploy the two battalions of junge Ergeben they carried.

Inside each of the ships was one of the companies. At first glance, it would be hard to believe that these strapping troops, their body armor fitting tightly around their muscles and not one being shorter than 5 ft 10 in were all around 15 years of age. They had been trained since birth to be the perfect fighting machines and were so augmented that their abilities could be considered almost super human.

The platoon commanders readied themselves inside the drop pods, the lower ranking troops would make the jump with only their parachutes and armor to protect them, this was not frightening to them as they had made many successful test jumps into the Islamajudianitian wilderness with no casualties.

They were ready for battle.

And I am working overdrive to solve this situation diplomatically from my office in Cazelia, because Belkaros has no Satilitte uplink areas for Recon.
I would Like to ask if you are fighting against the Belkan Forces, or for them; For if you are against, we may finally have enough public support to stop the genocide with the threat of military force if diplomacy fails.
And I am sorry for the threatening sounding letter. I only meant to keep your's and the forces of other nations from harming my men.

OOC- Up to Belkaros' inclusion into the story, everything is true. I have always been a fan of Mr. Tesla's work and feel he should have gotten much more respect for creating the second industrial revolution, so I have made him a part of Belkan history in tribute.

By the early 1940's, Nikola Tesla had already changed the world. He had invented the radio, the vacuum lightbulb, the tesla coil, the voltage transformer, alternating current and an early x-ray machine. His next ideas were even more revolutionary, free air energy transmission, engineless flying machines, thought stenographers and deathrays. Unfortunatly for Tesla, Marconi had stolen his radio ideas and Edison had stolen his lightbulb ideas, leaving him penniless. Only the scientists of the former Republic of Belkaros would listen.
In Belkaros, Tesla was praised as a genious, a savior from backwater obscurity. He gave the Belkans a nationwide electrical grid, wireless communications and lights in all of their homes. He also gave them the weapon that would end all wars, the teleforce cannon, an ion beam weapon that could cut through metal and flesh as easily as a bird cuts through the air. The Belkans, afraid of the new atomic weapon proliferation in the world, adopted this revolutionary technology in upmost secrecy. Dozens of stations with independant geothermal reactors were built under the guise of weather observatories and labs. Unfortunatley, the immense power consumption of the plants made mobilization prohibitive, as only the largest aircraft or ships could mount such a system. The weaponry was then forgotten about, a secret known only by the nation's leaders, then passed on to the first Emperor.
Half a century after their conception and initial construction, the Belkan Teleforce System was to be activated. The geodesic domes of the weapons glowed an eerie blue, and their several turrets twitched to life, now automated and controlled remotley or from within the structure. Soon, whatever enemy was to come would taste the fist of the father of modern Belkaros.

Kraven Wehrmacht Combined Operations Battlefleet, International Waters


Sirens once again echoed out across the fleet, each of the vessels commanders ordered their crewmen into high alert, each of them braced for impact as radio operators picked up the various radar signatures of the distinct report of incoming missiles...

"Commander, We have incoming missiles, lots of them.." The Radar operator responded instantly as soon as the confirmation was clear...

"Ok, Radio fleet Commanders, the Mimir Tracking vessels have picked up the signals, confirmation is clear..." The Commander spoke, picking up the communications telephone...

"Admiral?" The Commander spoke, picking up a reel of paper and looking at it...

"Yes, Commander?" The Admiral calmly spoke, well aware of the situation but speaking with a calmness that made him distinct, able to cope in any situation and being a level headed man...

"We have confirmation of missile launch, and confirmation of fleet capabilities and size... relaying details to you now..." The Commander spoke, while pressing some buttons on the console, instantly the Admiral was brought up to date with the various happenings...

The Admiral of the fleet, had ordered the counter attack, already console operators from various different ships of the fleet had begun to get target lock, high above satellites began relaying live footage of the Redtide fleet and accurate data was fed to the guidance system of the Kraven Missile Destroyers..

Each of them, contained the deadly and rightly feared Khan Class Ship to Ship Missile, designed to obliterate vessels with minimal effort..

Target locks acheived, with the first Salvo targetting the Command Vessels of the Red Tide and the second salvo targetting the Logistic and Troop carrying vessels, this way the Red tide fleet would be left without a command structure and any vessels to supply or support the remaining fleet, and when ground troops were needed they would be struggling to stay afloat under 20,000 pounds per square inch of ocean above them...

Instantly, the Khans were launched being catapulted 110 meters into the air, before the second stage was activated, powering the missiles towards their targets, this being the first salvo targetting the Command Vessels...

The second stage contains the MAS Ophelia Cryo rocket motor which then engages and launches the missile in a sub-orbital exospheric ballistic arc, after this is complete the missile deploys a ribbon chute and pulls a 15 g manoeuvre and the second stage detaches.

The third stage contains two semi stealthy wings designed for supersonic operations and is powered by a MAS PP49 restartable multi-outlet liquid fuel motor with sub thrusters that provide vectored thrust for manoeuvring. Above the fuel tanks there is a torus quad decoy launcher system loaded with a mixture of flares and EM "screamers" that can also be used to fire very short range hypersonic air-to-air mini-missiles and basic chaff. This stage operates in a sub-Mach 5 environment.

The fourth stage contains two MAS 44H Zambia Solid Rocket Motors which boost the missile up to its hypersonic Mach 11.8 impact velocity.

It is garanteed that the Command Vessels of the Red Tide would be sunk, filling up with water as their hulls are torn to shreads and blasted into nothing more than metal shrapnel...

two thousand missiles from various Destroyers were fired in the first salvo, while in the second salvo, targetting the various Logistic support vessels and the Troop Transports would be launched in quick succession, it also being of two thousand missiles, giving a combined total of four thousand.

However, once the missiles were away and on their way to the targets going through each stage one by one, the enemy missile salvo was closing in, instantly the various Anti Missile dedicated cruisers sprung to life, using counter missiles, ECW, and other means of jamming the missiles...

Each of them exploded in quick succession, causing little blossoms of fire to errupt in the sky, while others dropped harmlessly in to the sea, Kraven forces were known to have an extensive Air Defence system, however, as more and more were brought down, the defensive 3 tier system being highly effective several began to slip through, striking ships in their hulls, in the super structure and various other places.

Ships errupted into balls of flames, while others listed slightly in the water, before protective bulk heads were closed preventing the vessels from taking on any more water, Crewmen were thrown into the sea, where oils and diesel now caused the water to take on a patch work like effect...

The Fleet was hit, hard with several vessles, destroyers and cruisers sinking beneath the depths, crewmen now frantically began to repair the damage from the salvo, while Logistical ships moved into assit the repairs...

"Damage report..." The Admiral spoke...

"We've lost several vessles, and many more are damaged, but the fleet is still highly operational, with the majority of our vessels in full working order...."

OOC- Up to Belkaros' inclusion into the story, everything is true. I have always been a fan of Mr. Tesla's work and feel he should have gotten much more respect for creating the second industrial revolution, so I have made him a part of Belkan history in tribute.

By the early 1940's, Nikola Tesla had already changed the world. He had invented the radio, the vacuum lightbulb, the tesla coil, the voltage transformer, alternating current and an early x-ray machine. His next ideas were even more revolutionary, free air energy transmission, engineless flying machines, thought stenographers and deathrays. Unfortunatly for Tesla, Marconi had stolen his radio ideas and Edison had stolen his lightbulb ideas, leaving him penniless. Only the scientists of the former Republic of Belkaros would listen.
In Belkaros, Tesla was praised as a genious, a savior from backwater obscurity. He gave the Belkans a nationwide electrical grid, wireless communications and lights in all of their homes. He also gave them the weapon that would end all wars, the teleforce cannon, an ion beam weapon that could cut through metal and flesh as easily as a bird cuts through the air. The Belkans, afraid of the new atomic weapon proliferation in the world, adopted this revolutionary technology in upmost secrecy. Dozens of stations with independant geothermal reactors were built under the guise of weather observatories and labs. Unfortunatley, the immense power consumption of the plants made mobilization prohibitive, as only the largest aircraft or ships could mount such a system. The weaponry was then forgotten about, a secret known only by the nation's leaders, then passed on to the first Emperor.
Half a century after their conception and initial construction, the Belkan Teleforce System was to be activated. The geodesic domes of the weapons glowed an eerie blue, and their several turrets twitched to life, now automated and controlled remotley or from within the structure. Soon, whatever enemy was to come would taste the fist of the father of modern Belkaros.

OOC: Alright, this is bullshit. Cyborgs are passable on an extremely good day, but a "Teleforce cannon"? I'm quite eager to see any external references you have explaining the technology and physics involved. Crap like this is high-PMT at least - I'd put it at FT/Fantasy myself - and is serious godmoding/wank. The silly thing is that modern weapons can meet or exceed the capabilities of this at a fraction of the cost -- something you'll want to consider given your military budget.

Eventually the image of a dark lake could be seen by all 8 men as they drifted twords it, This was there landmark. As they silently lined up and drifted twords the lake, a 2 story lake house becomes visible. This was there target. Rumor was that a high level official with information about the genocide was seeking asylum. He felt strongly with the actions of his government, but didn't want to face being branded a possible political criminal.

Soon enough, the mens feet would of touched the ground. These skilled men were able to put them self down silently only 30 feet from the cabin. As the touched down, they all took to a crouched position. Some stowing there chutes, while others covered there position. After a few minutes of collecting thems selves, there stacked up into a column and made there way to the cabin. The last man in the column held his Mk.17 tightly under his right arm, using his left to cover there tracks with a part his chute.

Eventually the men found the front porch, and from there the door. As they stacked into a column to breach the house, One man stood on the oposite end of the door. This man placed his hand on the knob, turning it to see the door was open, before nodding to the 7 others. He turned the knob, pushing the door open. At that moment the 7 other rushed into house as they begin to search it, with the breacher slowing stepping in covering the open entrance behind them.

Ergo, there is nothing of this kind achievable in an MT environment. Those sources seem fairly inconclusive as to what his death ray even was, let alone how it worked or what measure of success was found in the technology. In far-PMT these things would probably be acceptable - assuming that there is a grain of truth in Tesla's work behind it - but for MT nothing potent enough to be feasible could be produced.

The man lifts his weapon heading to the stairs to investigate, as the man begins to freak out. "Up Stairs!" The man shouts as the creature makes its way into view.
With out hesitation, the team begins to unleash a torrent of rounds into the creature. Within the span of a second, 200 rounds of 5.56 and 7.62 twords the creature, with a 40mm HEPD grenade to the wall behind the creature for good measure. The men Swiftly hit cover to reload there magazines, Unsure of the number of Centurions in the house.


OOC-Now before you say that thing isnt dead... I probably put out enough force to blow out the wall behind that thing. Between the 150 that most likely found there mark and the HEDP nade, That could of taken out a Large Unarmored Truck.

1st off, these missiles are capable of crippling a Superdreadnought in a single hit. Anything smaller is going to be definantly sunk.

2nd off, I need numbers! How many Khans? How many counter-missiles(what kind of counter-missiles, anyways?), how many ships sunk or crippled?

3rd off, 3,000 missiles are going to hit alot more ships then that.

Rarely had a Centurion been so quickly dispatched. Its face contorted in death as automated systems pumped steroids into the lifeless body, creating a horrifying display of quivering gore. In death, however, it served its purpouse, video logging the unwarranted execution of a Belkan officer from a foreign power, which was how the video was being portrayed as it was uplinked via the creature's TactCom uplink to the Belkan forces that had been monitoring the Centurion from a safe distance. An armored Centurion team now moved in to surround the house, having patiently waited in a nearby boat house for orders. They were supported by a team of Malus snipers, who had taken up positions in the trees surrounding the cottage.
Once again, the dead Centurion served a purpouse, as its radio blared out a warning to the Bevenian (OOC I keep typing benevian, lysdexic today) of the team's compromised position, but promised no harm would come to them if they laid down their weapons.

Lt. Marcus Arte watched as the miles ticked by at a ridiculous pace. On either side of his lead craft, 51 of Urarail's best pilots flew with him in their midnight black F-22's. Lt. Arte didn't know much about politics, but he knew a good bit about flying and fighting. And both of these skills were about to come into play.

The radio crackled to life. "10 miles from Weirmacht Reich fleet. All craft, deactivate master safety. You are to prioritize the enemy's command ships and carriers as primary targets. Destroy any interceptors they send up. If enemy force is in overwhelming strenght, break off and request for permission to land at Belkaros air bases. Your Empire is counting on you and proud of you. This is War Minister Hamilcar Valca, out."

In 52 F-22's, a gloved hand flipped the master safety to the OFF position, and the tactical system came to life on the HUD. A few moments later, and Lt. Arte could make out the shadows of warships below. Lt. Arte flipped his comm on and spoke in a clear, deliberate voice. "This is Flight Lead to Pandora and Cerberus Squadrons. All craft, you are cleared to engage."

Suddenly, the sky lit up as 52 jets fired on the fleet below. Urarail was at war.

the HATD flew over the designated landing area. All the troops aboard the ship checked their chutes and armor for any potential flaws. The pilot addressed them through their helmet comlinks and gave them the ok.

Sgt. Neilpasky, the Alpha company commander, gave one of the privates a punc to the shoulder before entering his drop pod. "Alright boys and girls, we're jumping into hell feet first. God be with us." He shut the door and hit the eject button.

From below the two HATDs, several drop pods could be seen ejecting from the craft, like meteors. Soon after, dozens of junge Ergeben leaped out in formation.

The drop pods travelled much quicker and the platoon commanders activated their drag flaps in less than a few seconds after decent. Meanwhile, the privates glided down at a reasonable speed.

They had landed and regrouped within a few minutes with no casualties so far. The Sgt. led the alpha company to the nearest town that was vulnerable town. Meanwhile, tango company began making their way to reinforce the active Belkan troops nearby.

The Plan was to E&E, as the men on the inside of the cottage collected all the 2nd and 3rd line equipment. Soon A pile of Parachutes, Empty Oxygen tanks, and other non essential gear was collected, along with a Small cache of Thermite and HE grenades. A few of the soldiers placed Explosive charges through the house as they prepared to make there dramatic exit. The Men began to set off all of there smoke grenades inside the house, soon followed by the thermite and Explosives. This smoke and explosions erupt, the team made there slip through the back door. The Lake provided an Escape root as the back door was only feet from it door and with the amount of smoke and light (ruining any night vision, natural or otherwise) a covered escape of ensured.

IN BELKAROS-
The order had been given to scramble all fighters by the Emperor himself. The four closest airbases to the Weirmacht Reich fleet launched each launched 5 wings of 5 SU-57B fighters to aid the Urarailian fighters. Bombers were prepped for launch, and would join the fray to clean up the rest of the fleet.

The 100 fighters raced towards the fleet. In their headsets, the Belkan National Anthem played, and was cut into by a live transmission from the Emperor.
"Brave and noble pilots of the Imperium of Belkaros! Today you free our nation from the vile threat posed by the vicious dogs of the Weirmacht Reich! You are the angels who's wings will deliver our people from this threat that we may live free! Go now, to this fight, and honor your Empire and yourselves! Vivo Belkaros! Via Mundus Prospero!"
By the end of the transmission, the fighters were near their targets, and could see their allies. Radio contact was made, and the battle began, each wing of fighters locking onto an enemy ship and firing an anti-ship missile.

ooc: i'm sorry, i just noticed my military organisational terms weren't correct so i just changed them. the only real difference is that i used battalion instead of company, which is a large difference in numbers.

ic: The Sgt. held his M23 leisurely, as did the others with their varied choices Islamajudianitian weapons. He heard a slight disturbance to the pristine ambience of the countryside though. He turned slightly in the direction of the noise. Without having to adjust the magnification settings on his visor, he could clearly see smoke and fire emitting from a house, one of the many advancements gained through years of physical and mental augmentations (ooc: not through machinery like a cyborg though, through the use of drugs).

Making a detour at the house wouldn't hinder their progress as it wasn't far off the route to the town. He held his M23 more securely and started towards the house at the quick step. "2nd and 4th Platoon, follow me, the rest of you continue towards the town."

The team's enterance to the lake did not go unnoticed, as the support team of semi-civilian military men still inside the boat house heard faint splashing. The team, not used to firing weaponry outside of a range, took up arms and fired sporadically and haphazardly towards the sounds of the splashing. The sound of the weapons fire was enough to attract the attention of the trained warriors, who began firing at the quickly fading figures in the water. Luckily for the Centurions, accuracy was less of an issue as their miniguns fired several hundered rounds into the water.
The Centurions advanced cautiously towards the lake, firing bursts into the water at random. They wanted the unknown agressors alive, so they were sparing in their fire, but they would not lose them again.
An Aeronavis zeppelin was called in for aerial observation along with 140 Belkan Infantrymen, schedueled to arrive within an hour. Locals were told to take up arms aganst any unknown people in the lake who seemed out of place. Militis Superium David Elan, regional director of defense, rode into the area to see that the team was caught, and caught quickly.

And so it was that word got out that the United Republic would do nothing, backing off its strong words of support for the Kraven Empire, and the integrity it served to the world. However, one person didn't believe that the Acting Chief Governor made the right decision. The team's enterance to the lake did not go unnoticed, as the support team of semi-civilian military men still inside the boat house heard faint splashing. The team, not used to firing weaponry outside of a range, took up arms and fired sporadically and haphazardly towards the sounds of the splashing. The sound of the weapons fire was enough to attract the attention of the trained warriors, who began firing at the quickly fading figures in the water. Luckily for the Centurions, accuracy was less of an issue as their miniguns fired several hundered rounds into the water.
The Centurions advanced cautiously towards the lake, firing bursts into the water at random. They wanted the unknown agressors alive, so they were sparing in their fire, but they would not lose them again.
An Aeronavis zeppelin was called in for aerial observation along with 140 Belkan Infantrymen, schedueled to arrive within an hour. Locals were told to take up arms aganst any unknown people in the lake who seemed out of place. Militis Superium David Elan, regional director of defense, rode into the area to see that the team was caught, and caught quickly.

Also seeing as My guys need to Sneak about 10 miles to the shore line, Some how Swim another 12 though Waters containing a battle between some of the Biggest fleets in MT NS along with International "peace keepers"... I don't think I'm getting off scott free... seeing as the Mission is a failure, and the team is compromised.

PROBLEMS!

1st off, these missiles are capable of crippling a Superdreadnought in a single hit. Anything smaller is going to be definantly sunk.

2nd off, I need numbers! How many Khans? How many counter-missiles(what kind of counter-missiles, anyways?), how many ships sunk or crippled?

3rd off, 3,000 missiles are going to hit alot more ships then that.

I willingly await the revised casualty estimate.

Firstly, The capabilties of the missiles mean Jack, just because you say they can cripple a SD, doesn't really mean they will... Consider the Capabilities of my Vessels..

Secondly, The Numbers have been specified, 4,000 Khans launched from across the fleet... The Counter missiles aren't specific designs, they are home produced, they have no designation, they lock onto the signals of your missiles (Unless they are dumb) and intercept

Thirdly, part A, You stated launching 4,000 missiles not 3,000, Part B, The fleet has been set out in a defensive tier of 3 rings, making it extremely difficult for any missiles to penetrate deeply into the ring, you basicaly have three lines of ships to pass...

Fourthly, Numbers/stats/etc are point moot really, Im here to tell a Story and RP with a cinematic style, im not about to start number crunching or anything like that... However, I will state that the 1st Kraven Combined Operations battlefleet is 800 vessels strong, Ranging from several Classes of SD's to dedicated Anti Missile Vessels...

On Bevenian soil, The scream of a Sr-71's Jets roar across a secure airfield as it take off twords Belka. It would take an hour for the jet to reach the AO.

Chief General Oscar Vladinchi closed off the private communication to another party, and looked up to see Caster Oblivion standing by his side. With a grunt of disapproval, he upped and left. Oscar grinned. Anagonia would have its war, whether anyone said anything about it or not. No one, not even the Red Tideans, would stop them now. Especially when such a grand plan was put into place.

Looking back to a huge Tactical display behind him, Oscar pointed on the touchscreen controls where fleet movements and aircraft manuevers were to take place. From here, every Admiral and General had access to his commands, and would implement them likewise to his bidding. The new plan put into place for Belkan called for the Anagonians to stay out of the fight, or face International Repercussions. What no one knew was the length Oscar was willing to go to make sure that a new friend was to have ultimate victory.

100 Miles off the shore of Kraven

The Massive Kraven Fleet shifted easily at the new orders arriving, heading straight for Belkan Waters the same way the Kraven Fleet had embarked. It was a risky operation, but one that needed to be done. The Admiral of this unnamed fleet knew his orders, and took them without question. Every ship, every marine, every soldier, every wingman had on Kraven uniforms. They were in all reality Kraven Ships, and Kraven Personnel. No one would tell the difference.

All across Anagonia

B-1B Lancer's with Kraven Insignia's launched from various airbases all across the country. Fighter support included Su-27 FLANKER (SUKHOI), and various other combat aircraft. They were positioned in three-bomber squadrons with two fighters for close-air support. They would head to Kraven for refueling, then be on their way to Belkan for operations.

OOC- The Imperium of Belkaros is the nation. Common form is Belkaros, adjective form is Belkan. Just FYI as there are several interesting interpertations.

He joined the group moving along the eastern bank, followed by some regular Belkan infantry soldiers who had a hard time keeping up with the Ergeben and they weren't even running by their standards. As he got away from the house, he switched his earphones to normal again, hoping to pick up any faint noise.

They set up a temporary position to fire from as the other soldiers caught up. The Sgt. directed them in well aimed fire at the largest, most easily visible hunks of debris but so far they hadn't hit anything. Meanwhile, one of the more immature junge Ergeben, Rasheed, took out a grenade, primed it and threw it into the congregation of debris.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" asked one of the other Ergeben.

"Fishing," he responded dryly, before pumping his grenade launcher and shooting it blindly into the lake.

"Cut that out boy, we're trying to take them alive," commanded the Sgt. keeping steady aim, looking for any abnormality in the debris. Even with his visor night vision set at its highest and magnification at 3x, the Sgt. still had trouble. After a few minutes of deep observation he spotted a strange shape on a larger sized piece of debris. "Gotchya," he whispered as he shot three precise bursts at the Bevenian. There was a short, contained yelp, followed by some movement in the water that wasn't caused by bullets.

Firstly, The capabilties of the missiles mean Jack, just because you say they can cripple a SD, doesn't really mean they will... Consider the Capabilities of my Vessels..

Secondly, The Numbers have been specified, 4,000 Khans launched from across the fleet... The Counter missiles aren't specific designs, they are home produced, they have no designation, they lock onto the signals of your missiles (Unless they are dumb) and intercept

Thirdly, part A, You stated launching 4,000 missiles not 3,000, Part B, The fleet has been set out in a defensive tier of 3 rings, making it extremely difficult for any missiles to penetrate deeply into the ring, you basicaly have three lines of ships to pass...

Fourthly, Numbers/stats/etc are point moot really, Im here to tell a Story and RP with a cinematic style, im not about to start number crunching or anything like that... Ground forces to dig in for defensive operations are becoming more important, especailly with the recent deep infiltration of an enemy power. Defensive contractors to construct additional fortifications would also be appreciated.

30,000 Feet - Lancer Wing Alpha

It was possible to see the ongoing skirmish between Tidean and Kraven forces nearly thirty thousand feet below, but such things were beyond the mind of the aircraft commander. His mission, which he took with standing orders, had been to simply convert thyself to Kravens arms and bring hell unto a united enemy. Should any of them survive this encounter, or be shot down, which was unlikely with the current defense capabilities these days in Bombers. But as such things, his command of two other Lancers mixed with two Su-27 Flanker Escorts provided him with enough anti-missile security that he believed himself nearly immortal.

But as with all things, the ones who think themselves Gods tend to die first. Hopefully that wouldn't happen today.

Behind him, a massive contingent of the same formations of bombers and escorts flew across the sky nearly eight miles a part. His wings mission was to inflict damage on the Tidean navy, as much as possible, and as such had been all loaded with eighty-four Mk82 General Purpose Bombs. It was a minor annoyance to such a modern navy, but the old ways of indescrimite bombing had tactical advantages.

Providing they weren't taken down first, they were to unload as close above the fleet as possible. Behind them, their counterparts in other bomber wings carried a verity of munitions to impact land targets to the highest degree.

120 Nautical Miles from the Kraven/Tidean engagement - Kraven Battle Fleet, Task force Kuvon

The Battle Fleet Commander stood on board the Anagonian-Class Carrier Resurrection, renamed Kuvon for this operation. The mighty Iowa Battleships sailed defiantly at his carriers sides, followed by various other ships, including the Destroyers. Behind them, at least twenty nauticle miles distant, was the Battle Fleets designated Kavan, Sumon, and Kulan. They were equally prepared to do their worst.

They key to the first volley was a successful sneak attack. Providing the fleets weren't detected first, of course. The Battle Fleet Commander considered a frontal aerial assaulted, but reconsidered after hearing of previous Tidean engagements. So he purposed firing a massive volley of AGM-84D Anti-Ship Harpoon missiles that would hopefully catch the fleet off guard. Satellite information provided targeting data, so that was no problem.

Looking back to the tactical engagement screen he witnessed the key to this first assault. Twenty DD-963 SPRUANCE-class destroyers, combining all the fleets, had a capable launch vector of eighty of these ship-killing missiles to fire at once. And thats what he planned. When they got closer, and when the Kravens needed the help the most and had them most distracted.

Then the submarines would come into play.

As Lt. Arte and his men watched their missiles impact the Kraven ships, they fired another volley. It was at this time their radar showed a massive fleet entering the combat zone, and they had Kraven signatures. Lt. Arte ordered Cerberus and Pandora Squadrons to continue the attack on the Kraven fleet they were currently engaging, and contacted AWACS Redeye for advisement.

Lt. Arte's, aka Cerberus One, request was relayed to Imperial High Command in San Salvacion. When the situation was updated to the Prime Minister, his cabinet, and the general staff in the Situation Room in the Imperial Palace, an audible groan could be heard. The Prime Minister sunk back into his chair, completely subdued. At that time, General Henry Maddok of the Imperial Infantry turned to the Prime Minister.

"Sir, we have to commit an all-out strike to the combat zone. If not, our forces and the Belkans are going to be wiped out."

General Alexander Constantine of the Air Force then spoke. "Prime Minister, we don't know the full scope of the situation. I advise gathering more intel first before we send a full force into the fray."

General Maddok disagreed. "We've already declared, and are fighting, a war. We have to fight with all our resources, because Kraven sure as hell is."

Prime Minister Altzehy sighed before straightening up in his chair. "As I see it, we don't have much of a choice. Kraven is attacking with overwhelming strength, so we must respond to help our Belkan allies." Altzehy then turned to General Constantine. "Alex, our navy would be annihilated by Kraven's armada. So, we'll have to fight them in a way were we can win. Send the Air Force, en masse."

The meeting adjourned, orders were issued, and men moved into action.

As the Empire of New Chalcedon has but recently become the Delegate to the United Nations for the region of Pacific Defenders, it has taken some time for certain issues to come to our attention. One of these is the aggression against Belkaros. Another is the flagrant abuse of human rights by the Imperium of Belkaros.

As regards the first issue, We can assure any interested parties that We shall bring this incident to the attention of Our fellow Defenders. For those who do not know this already, the region of Pacific Defenders was founded in order to discourage aggression, not just against member nations of the region, but against anyone. We cannot speak for the region, but We feel that the response to these acts will not be positive. When the region moves, we do so as a single, united force, with firepower beyond that of any one nation.

As regards the second issue, We caution all member-states of the UN to remember certain resolutions which are being contravened by Belkaros' actions, namely Resolutions #25 (The Child Protection Act), #26 (The Universal Bill of Rights), #44 (Fair Treatment of the Mentally-Ill) and #160 (Rights of the Disabled), and that under Resolution #49 "Rights and Duties of UN States", the acceptance of ratified UN Resolutions supersedes the political preference of any member-state. Therefore, We call upon all Member States of the UN who are involved in this conflict to condemn the actions of the Imperium of Belkaros, to stand aside from the armed conflict, and to consider, among other punishments, the use of economic sanctions until Belkaros decides to stop engaging in the crudest form of eugenics.

Eschex should have been worried about the situation in Shanestan. However, as always, he trusted his generals who knew more about war. His field was religion. After his evening prayer with the nation, he then prayed for the victims of the nuclear massacre in Shanestan. Then, finally, he turned on the cameras and made a speech:

"Regarding the situation in Belkaros...

Belkaros, your policy of extermination of those in your prison system is, in my view, disgusting for it comes after a time of a trial. If they knew this would have been their fate, and indeed if the system at the time knew, would the punishment you now hand out as if God himself have been delivered then? Would not, if this fate was known, the criminals have acted differently and, perhaps, not have committed these crimes? Indeed, your entire policy seems foolish.

However...

It is not our place to tell you how to run your nation, nor is out our place to take action. You will be judged by your actions in the end of all things, as we all are, and as it will be for the next generation and for all times before and after. It is not our place to judge unless your actions are so grossly inhumane as to affect the social fabric of your society.

That being said...

Your actions are being taken not against innocents, but against those who have done harm to your society through crime and through an act of God that has caused mental impairment. While your methods and timing are questionable, the finality of the logic is not. Therefore, while we do not support your actions, we can not entirely condemn it.

In regard to the warring nations...

Your actions may, in your minds, be justified by attempting to stop genocide. However, is he killing these people for their association in specific racial, political, or cultural groups? No. He is killing members from many races, political affiliations, and cultures who share one thing in common: They have broken the laws of the land that, up until he started killing them, no one protested. Therefore, the claim of genocide is tossed aside like a bear would toss a fish that dissatisfies it.

Furthermore...

The war will cost many hundreds of thousands of lives. Those who invade Belkaros, your forces will, despite their best of intentions, wind up killing civilians. On both sides, soldiers will die. And for what? In reality, it is for no reason. Belkaros needs to be reasoned with, and stationing a fleet to apply political pressure invites trouble of the most violent sort. More will die because of the war than will be killed in the actions you oppose.

For nations seeking to repent through action their deeds from the past...

Does this madness of yours truly go so far as to believe that, due to your past errors in humanity, you must spill more blood to achieve your goals? Indeed, nations that are truly horrified of their actions will shy away from the instruments that were used to carry them out, yet instead you have refashioned them for your new "noble" cause. If your souls truly seek peace, then throw down your weapons and engage not in a battle of missiles and gunfire, but of words both written and spoken. Show that you walk now on the path of peace, and not on the path of the bloodied crusader.

For nations fighting for economic gain...

You are despicable. There are many ways to achieve economic prosperity, and very few of them must involve war. Can you not profit endlessly from your many ventures? Must your hands dip into every Sparky bowl? Yea, your souls are as black as the night that spawned you, yet free your hearts for a second and see the error of your ways, and let your soul fight for the eternity that awaits it. Turn away from war, the act of voluntary bloodshed, and turn to diplomacy.

Your soldiers are brave and well-trained. Your equipment has been built by many peoples and has been the work of military minds for many a year. Your budgets are massive, your militaries powerful. Do you wish to waste that to support a false war against a nation? Or, do you wish to support the actions of a regime that has bent the rules? There are no other choices. Give the honored path of peace a chance, a chance that my nation hasn't had in 2,100 years, and don't throw away brave lives for foolish causes.

If needs be, my nation would be happy to host neutral talks. No military forces allowed, and none may venture within operational distance. If you choose to talk, let it be between the diplomats and not the generals that the battle will be fought by.

The weaponry will be most appreciated, as the I have almost twice as many civilian defense volunteers as I do weapons. The money would also be appreciated, as one never knows what financial pitfalls one will encounter during a war. When peace and stability return to Belkaros, you will of course be repaid in full.
I shudder to consider the notion of establishing a nation in exile, but it may be nescisary to send my subordinate Emperor, Gnaeus Mundus II, to you for safekeeping. I cannot abandon my people, as I am sure you understand. I will also send refugees as they are created, though I imagine they will be the elderly, mothers and children for the most part, as many Belkan men will stay and die for their homeland, though I will try to coerce them to flee should their death become certain. The Imperial Shuttle was a supersonic craft containing some ofthe most advanced aeronautic equipment the world had to offer. It had full radar cloaking, as well as missile deflection, heat signature masking, radio jamming and several other capabilities not released to the public. Today, the craft would be used to fly the Emperor to the nation of Holy Marsh, to hopefully end the conflict taking place off the coast of Belkaros. Escorted by a wing of Belkaros' most seasoned pilots, the craft departed. The sound barrier was broken just outside of Belkar's city limits, and the planes were underway.

A few hours later, the Imperial Shuttle slowed, just outside of Holy Marsh airspace, and the fighter escort returned to Belkaros. The shuttle continued on, radioing for landing instructions.

The Control Tower told the aircraft to continue onwards to the capital city of Marsh, as the city was on alert for possible air force refueling needs for the Shanestan situation. SU-30MKIs met up to escort the craft, but the second tactical wir wing of F-22s was on call in case enemy planes were found coming towards the nation. Why ayone would be suicidal enough to fly acros the ocean to engage the Marsh air force and be so outnumbered and low on fuel was beyond the pilots, but prepared they were.

The Emperor walked with the security guards as they escorted him to the Cathedral, admiring the architecture as he walked. He stepped into the lofty room, and bowed to the Arch-Priest, then extended his hand to him in greeting. "Thank you for having me here, your Emminence", said the Emperor as hands were shaken. "I have hoped from the beginning that this crisis can have a peaceful outcome. Perhaps here we can find a mutually satisfactory outcome."

The Arch-Priest takes the handshake and puts his other hand over it, clasping gently.
"Emperor, you have no need to bow to me. I am but a servant of a much higher power. Come, sit and let us discuss the path to peace." Eschex says, beckoning to the pew. The Emperor and the Arch-Priest sit down.

"Yesterday was the main church service. It is the only time that citizens are allowed here, as this is ground most holy. Here is where the Holy Marsh died for teaching us the truth, the truth of compassion and love. So, every Wednesday, sixteen thousand of his followers pack this ancient cathedral. And they believe in Him because He believes in them. So, when someone in my nation murders, rapes, sells drugs, etc. they know what the punishment is, for they have betrayed His trust. This is the way it has always been and will always be; it is fair because the knowledge is free and widely known. Those who commit crimes pay the price, and they know the price before they commit the crime. However, what you have done is eliminated that knowledge of the cost. The people who have committed crimes had no idea that the punishment would be so severe, and that is what makes it unfair.

Those whose minds were toyed with by His hand, either by fate or ill-design, do not deserve to be killed because of their mental handicaps. They are human, just as human as you or I, and you have allowed them to live up until now. Killing them now, whether it be for society's benefit or not, is unfair to them. What we do here is quite simple; if they can work even the most menial of jobs, they do it. If they can't, then we seek written permission from all of their family members and we use them as test subjects. They now benefit society more than they could have in death, and their lives have been given meaning. Of course, we can not allow them to breed, as we are a warrior culture that needs viable family lines. They are sterilized."
Eschex said, his voice keeping the same even tone. The Emperor, sensing that Eschex wasn't finished, stayed quiet as the two sat in silence. The building was amazing; modernization efforts or not, you could feel the energy of the millions upon millions of people who had gathered here over the years.
Quiet.

"For every Marsh citizen alive now, seven have been killed in war during her history, all fighting the same enemy, the same goals, and the same part of the globe. And I know that this will continue until even my great-grandson's bones have become dust. We can never walk the honored path of peace: that has been denied to us by our enemy. It is both our holy mission which we are pleased to take and our grave curse that haunts us from birth to death. Even now, our involvement in Shanestan is purely for strategic positioning against the Vile Lard. So, we look upon this world and we can see the worthy causes to die for and the unworthy ones. The cause of this war lies with money, self-image and pride.

You wished to save some money for your people in order to build structures that could improve the populace's lifestyle. Some nations seek to profit from this war. Others have made promises, not thinking it would come to this. Others seek to rewrite their terrible past with noble actions. Regardless, these are all terrible reasons to murder one another.

The money you saved by your program will pale in comparison to the cost you will pay out in terms of infrastructure and lives when the hammer strikes. Those who have made promises and are sticking to them will have had their bravest soldiers killed for a cause that is not their own. Those who seek to profit from this will pay the dearest price of all if they don't walk the path of peace, and that is their eternal soul. Those who see to do noble deeds to make-up for the horrors they unleashed will only have more blood on their hands.

Emperor, you have the power to make this stop. At least until the talks finish between the nations, halt your program. At this point, whether it is right or not for those that oppose you to fight you is a moot point beyond all others because they will fight you. And, if nothing else can sway you Your Grace, think of the souls of those who must carry out your executions. Do you wish to make them fall asleep to the sounds of the murdered? Do you wish for their souls to be torn asunder by internal conflict? Of course you don't, because you love your people."
Eschex finished. The Emperor absorbed these words and responded....

55 miles from Belkan air space

The massive Urarailian air strike continued to close the distance to the combat zone. AWACS Blackjack had updated the air group of the situation on the ground, but also informed them the strike was still go.

As Lt. Arte and his men watched their missiles impact the Kraven ships, they fired another volley. It was at this time their radar showed a massive fleet entering the combat zone, and they had Kraven signatures. Lt. Arte ordered Cerberus and Pandora Squadrons to continue the attack on the Kraven fleet they were currently engaging, and contacted AWACS Redeye for advisement.

Lt. Arte's, aka Cerberus One, request was relayed to Imperial High Command in San Salvacion. When the situation was updated to the Prime Minister, his cabinet, and the general staff in the Situation Room in the Imperial Palace, an audible groan could be heard. The Prime Minister sunk back into his chair, completely subdued. At that time, General Henry Maddok of the Imperial Infantry turned to the Prime Minister.

"Sir, we have to commit an all-out strike to the combat zone. If not, our forces and the Belkans are going to be wiped out."

General Alexander Constantine of the Air Force then spoke. "Prime Minister, we don't know the full scope of the situation. I advise gathering more intel first before we send a full force into the fray."

General Maddok disagreed. "We've already declared, and are fighting, a war. We have to fight with all our resources, because Kraven sure as hell is."

Prime Minister Altzehy sighed before straightening up in his chair. "As I see it, we don't have much of a choice. Kraven is attacking with overwhelming strength, so we must respond to help our Belkan allies." Altzehy then turned to General Constantine. "Alex, our navy would be annihilated by Kraven's armada. So, we'll have to fight them in a way were we can win. Send the Air Force, en masse."

The meeting adjourned, orders were issued, and men moved into action.

Across 5 different air bases in Urarail, fighter after fighter took off. If their enemies were sending a naval armada, then they would send a flying one to match.

The Missiles from the Urarail Fighters, struck various ships, but not being dedicated Anti Ship missiles, most of them were downed within the first Tier of defensive vessels, each of the dedicated anti missile ships went to work, launching devices designed to jam the radar systems of the missiles and others sending up decoys of white hot chaff that would cause the missiles to loose target lock and hit something else..

However, several of the missiles did manage to make it through the defensive net, striking at the hulls of cruisers, the metal was torn and shrapnel went flying into the air, landing in the cold waters below, thick acrid smoke rose high into the air as another ship was hit...

Crews began to repair the damage as support vessels moved up to assist in the work, another vessel was hit, causing a large explosion in one of the forward gun banks, the magazine exploded sending shells high into the air after igniting their charges...

In response, The Kraven "Gorgoroth" Class Carriers began to launch interceptors, they were sleek craft designed for intercepting enemy craft, each of them were catapulted from the deck via the steam catapult, it launched the craft along the deck until they reached their maximum vector for takeoff, and within seconds were climbing into the air to meet with the aggressors of Urarail...

Lt. Arte noted the damage inflicted on the Kraven warships, and also the interceptors they were launching. He snapped the comm on. "All units, listen up. Enemy is launching interceptors. Pandora Squadron, continue strafing the enemy fleet; concentrate on the carriers. Cerberus Squadron, prepare for air-to-air combat with enemy fighters." Half of the black Urarailian F-22's suddenly peeled off and accelerated towards the enemy interceptors that were already closing. Lt. Arte spoke once again, "Alright everyone heads up, we're merging with Kraven craft."

As some of the F-22's prepped for another run, Cerberus Squadron entered into deadly waltz with the Kraven aircraft. Urarail's pilots were aces, and this is what they lived and died for.

If a security detail is so required, then it will be granted as a special request. However, in accordance with this, the 5th-7th Holy Warrior Division will be mobilized, as will STT teams from the 4th-10th and the 2nd-6th. We do not do this in order to scare you away, but for our own security as the Arcjh-Priest will be present.

The wastefulness practiced by Belkaros was a bit on the disgusting side to the Amazonian nation, yes...not for cutting up and extinguishing populations, but for the sheer inefficiency of it all. There were a thousand better things the Belkans could do with their people rather than simply up and kill them, but no, this was what they did. A waste. However, it wasn't the Dominion's place to tell them what to do with their nation - it was their nation, after all, for now (most books were putting the line at 11:1 that Belkaros would fall as an independent nation).

The simple right as a nation was what tipped the scales of the Dominion towards the side of Belkaros, yet at the same time the nation was no stalwart standing out amongst others. It was simply...another nation. Even the Imperial Council, locked in the grips of power, could see how the attacking nations did have points in each of their attacks, from the economically-driven pirates to the more morally-conscious invaders. It was a bit of a sticky situation, but the Dominion was no nation to turn down what could possibly be self-interest in the long run.

At the same time, self-interest often didn't involve sacrificing soldiers needlessly. True, nearly the entire Imperial military was stationed on the home front - the Dominion maintained no overseas colonies outside of the four home islands - but wasting military resources also was foolish. Rather, to boost national profile and to keep safety high in priority, there were a number of things the Dominion could do. Making one's self look good, however, also swayed things.

Oscar Vladinchi opened a secure channel to the Battle Fleet Commander. The link was acquired by various communications bounced off nearly a hundred satellites that in no way traced back to the source, or so they believed. In this way, the lag time for talk was almost unbearable. But secrecy in the matter was needed, as Anagonia's official stance was now basically..."who cares?".

As the Battle Fleet Commander, Oscar recognizing him as James Stalwart, came into view he nodded a welcome. "Report, Commander."

BFC Salwart responded instantly. "Chief General, all military assets are ready. Kraven values our service to the mighty Corporation. Being deployed, we are ready for battle, and have engaged as ordered."

"Good," he tilted his head in a questioning manner. "Does anyone suspect?"

James shook his head, "No Chief General. We are Kraven, we are Mighty, we shall die with honor."

"Excellent," he grinned. "You are among the most loyal I have...served with. You are but the first wave."

"That is satisfactory, sir. With due respect, I must leave."

The connection went off. Everything said was kept cryptic, at best. Battle Fleet Commander James Stalwart didn't like being cannon fodder, but he somewhat appreciated the back up forces in reserve. He didn't like serving under another flag, but would accept it. And, most important, he would serve until the end, knowing he would most likely die in this awesome deception.

Looking back around some unseen room, and at a large display, he sighed. It was a waste of resources to bring such fleets into action. Though the later effects for the Motherland in diplomacy and politics would be beneficial. All that was needed was to make the Wehrmacht Reich stronger, and to go along with their foolish endeavor. Indeed, even Caster saw it was foolish to go against a nation governing itself. But what changed the situation was the nation involved in the conflict.

The Tideans.

He had read up on the recent reports from the Motherland, displeased with the lack of military efficiency that even his brothers above never displayed. To have such records, such notes, in the Library of the Grand Republic was a dishonor to him and his people. His military often spoke of the debacle. But here, in Belkan, he saw opportunity.

The deception of forces wouldn't stop here. Kraven was just the beginning. The Motherlands Navy would soon assist anyone against the Tideans, anywhere, should they fight. Then, when their forces were weakest, he would order the strike.

It was a sad pity that Belkan became involved, that Red Tide suddenly decided to assist them. Belkan wasn't even a considered resource to Anagonia, much less significant. If the Tideans had never become involved, Anagonia would never have acted like such. Oscar would have just accepted the fact that Caster made a slight mistake in leadership. Things would have blown over with little to no observance from anyone.

However, the real fact was that Tidea did become involved, and the Chief General himself did come down from the heavens and declare authority. Red Tide did send military forces. Oscar Vladinchi did implement the order. And, ultimately, he was hell-bent on making damn sure that Red Tide would soon fall from existence itself.

It was a sad pity that Belkan became involved with Red Tide. A damned sad pity. Yet, soon, they too would be whipped off the map for even considering the help. And, deep down, the Chief General liked it that way. He liked innocent prey. He liked the slaughter. He enjoyed the fight. He laughed then, knowing full well that soon every nation would fall before him, die in pain, nuked to hell or either bombed to oblivion.

Land and sea forces are vital to the defense of Belkaros. Our air forces are adequite for the time being. Here is where the Holy Marsh died for teaching us the truth, the truth of compassion and love. So, every Wednesday, sixteen thousand of his followers pack this ancient cathedral. And they believe in Him because He believes in them. So, when someone in my nation murders, rapes, sells drugs, etc. they know what the punishment is, for they have betrayed His trust. This is the way it has always been and will always be; it is fair because the knowledge is free and widely known. Those who commit crimes pay the price, and they know the price before they commit the crime. However, what you have done is eliminated that knowledge of the cost. The people who have committed crimes had no idea that the punishment would be so severe, and that is what makes it unfair.

Those whose minds were toyed with by His hand, either by fate or ill-design, do not deserve to be killed because of their mental handicaps. They are human, just as human as you or I, and you have allowed them to live up until now. Killing them now, whether it be for society's benefit or not, is unfair to them. The money you saved by your program will pale in comparison to the cost you will pay out in terms of infrastructure and lives when the hammer strikes. Those who have made promises and are sticking to them will have had their bravest soldiers killed for a cause that is not their own. There was a moment of quiet before Eschex hissed his reply.

The Urarailian strike group was close now. AWACS Blackjack had already begun picking up the radar signatures of the Kraven fleet and the Urarailian and Belkan aircraft engaging it.

Suddenly, every aircraft's comm came to life as a clear, strong voice addressed the pilots. "Warriors of Urarail, this is Prime Minister Vincent Altzehy. You are about to engage a vastly numerically superior enemy, but fear not. You are the Imperial Air Force, you are pilots of legend. The dogs before you seek to capture and enslave. The entire strike force responded to their leader's call with a resounding "Viva la Urarail!" The comm snapped off, and the air group accelerated to attack speed.

OOC- Sorry, though the gauss gun is plausible, it couldn't work for your nation. The energy requirements are not to great, but the firing element is too expensive. Your nation would need to replace giant coils of gold or some other hyperconducer, (biggest problem with weapon today is lacking a reusable hyperconductive fillament) with every shot, making the entire operation insanley expensive. Accuracy would be another issue. The EM forces of the coils would fry any electronic devices within the missile or slug even with shielding so you would only be able to use solid munitions, leaving you with a giant cannonball launcher, more suited to a battleship weapon than an international assault tool.

Belkan Satellite Recon detected the takeoff of a large number of fighters from Ytten, and allerted Imperial Command, led now by Prime Minister Jonovan. She contacted the Emperor, pulling him from an enjoyable though slightly strained conversation with his host Captain, and notified him of the situation. He made a decision and sent a message.

Have you no reason? No compassion? No common sense? We are on the verge of a peaceful resolution to this conflict and you mobilize forces instead of ambassadors? I do not know what you intend to do with that fighter force, but know this: the Imperium of Belkaros will shoot down any craft belonging to Ytten unless granted specific permission. If this is an attempt to launch some kind of biological attack, know that you are not only wasting your time, you are also comitting a war crime, which will be responded to with excessive force. An orbital weapons platform is being positioned over your nation as we speak, though it will not fire unless Belkaros is attacked. What few casualties will be caused by your weaponry will be nothing compared to the devistation of a high density orbital shell to your capital. After sending the message the Emperor sighed. "What is it, Captain Aseri, that makes men hate? It was hate that created the criminals we now execute, then the cold, calus calculation of the Belkan people that led us to destroy all of our undesirables, and for financial gain. Hate then led nations to want to destroy us, to change our way of life. Weapons born of a desire to kill more and more effeciently now lay in the hands of my people, my allies and our enemies. Hate fuels the Ytten into threatening us without due process, and hate has led me to respond in kind. I cannot simply stand down and ignore the will of my people." The Cardinal, one eye missing from an injury sustained in the Ninth Crusade, starts setting up the Embassy Hall for the talks. All that is needed is the people.

The whole justice confederate was in a flurry. Elites from every family raised pressing concerns and the three head families were drowned with problems.

"What do we do about the Ytten craft landing in our airports" one family asked.

"What if they contain biological weapons? Or Nukes? Are we helping them blow up a neighbouring country?" Another asked

"What if Belkaros finds out?" was a main concern. Noone in the family guild wanted to be involved in this war, but the only thing seperating them and Belkaros was a stretch of ocean. If Belkaros wanted revenge, it would come quick and it would at most take one orbital shell.

"Everyone Silence!!" the Tchingis family yelped.

"All of you decided that we would be neutral as to allow air landing space to all. Now Ytten is using us to to transit to Belkaros, as they know Belkaros wouldn't know until they leave our air space. Please would you all quiet down and discuss a solution" T'chigis was the only calm man in the whole hall.

The other two families were quick with a reply.

"We'll tell Belkaros about it, and see how it goes. We'll tell Ytten that we will allow them to land here, but the items must be checked. We will promise to keep the information to ourselves only, of course." The Hussein Lee family advised.

Suddenly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs barged into the room.
"Belkaros has temporaily ceased the purging to allow talk to proceed more smoothly."

The Confederation cheered. It was like a load off their backs. Tchingis started giving out orders.

"Calvo! Are the 2 chosen representatives and the 25 NT Troopers ready for take off to the peace talks? Sent them over immediately, use our fastest aircraft, equip it with the best communication systems. I'll brief them when they arrive in Marsh Waters"

To the Holy Marsh

Our peacekeepers will come to your talks and arrive in 5 hours in your airspace. We request to use your airport and we hope that the talks will provide substantial results.

Tell Ytten we will allow them to land and take off here,only on the condition that we are allowed to check the items. We will keep the information to ourselves, and will allow them to fly off pronto, and urge them to engage in talks before anything is done . Also, tell Belkaros that Ytten carft is landing on our airports, and that because of out former policy, we cannot disallow them to. Ask them to be prepared, and if need be, after the Yttens leave our airspace, we will send our fastest submarine to track their movement and report to Belkaros accordingly. Remember, make use of intelligence, Ytten must never find out were communicating with Belkaros and never find out about our actions!"

We will live up to our promise and allow you our landing space. However, it was not in our statement that we would not check the contents of the planes, tanks or ships. We have to request that the contents of your planes be checked, or they will not be allowed to leave SNP airspace. The information will be keep to ourselves, and we will allow you on your way pronto. Our service people will provide your men with as much food and accomodation as they can and our engineers will provide your ariplanes with the best fitting of newer equipment if required and refuelling if needed. We will do so to the best of our ability. Do not worry, for after years of military spending and experience in the intelligence sector, we believe our intelligence sector is top notch

We also urge you to engage in talks in the Holy Marsh. Belkaros has stopped the inhumane purging to allow peace talks.

Across the conflict zone in Belkan waters, the Urarailian forces broke off the attack. They had received word the summit was proceeding, and were ordered to land at friendly air bases in Belkaros if they received permission.

A lear jet escorted by four Urarailian F-22's entered Holy Marsh airspace. After transmitting their security ID's and informing the Holy Marsh government that the jet was transporting the Urarailian diplomats to the peace summit, the jet landed at one of Holy Marsh's air bases. Minister Row and his team stepped out of the plane as the four F-22's peeled off and began the return flight to Urarail.

Cardinal Dellion had finished preparations for the talks. Many of the delegates would be there soon. STT teams from two Holy Warrior divisions had been called up. Eight of them took positions in and around the confrence center, the rest took positions at the airport. The Home Guard then closed down the street leading from the airport to the confrence center, as a battalion of Holy Warriors took up position outside of the airport and another outside the confrence center, behind the talk area and therefore not obstructing the path to it. They didn't necessarily expect funny business, but being their homeland they took no chances. The 33rd Fighter Wing was put on high alert for combat air patrols in case a neighbor tried to take advantage. The 2nd Anti-ICBM/Missile Command was put on a fire on sight order. No chances could be taken; the peace talks had to work.
