"I am the scourge of God. Had you not created great sins, God would not have sent a punishment like me upon you."
-Genghis Khan

The Axis of Fear is a region/alliance, similar to the likes of Gholgoth and the past Prussian Empire. Built to do what Aligarians do best; kill. The nations of Axis must be of the utmost evil, no pussies from the nations lead by elected, fair leaders. We are here to bring darkness where there is light, bring death to where there is sprawling life, bring hunger and thirst to a place once feasting, and to walk up to your door step and put a bullet in your head as you walk outside.

We are something to be feared, we are a force, under one banner, here on this beautiful earth to scar and burn it. For those dictators left out and shunned, forced to get rid of their sovereignty, here is where the light shines. If your nation is shunned by the idiotic pigs, here is where you can come. We shun them and we refuse to be brought under their banner of idiocy and stupidity. The label us to be evil when their actions are just the same, their actions are pitiful, worthless acts of aggression with no justification. We will not stand for that, and we will not tolerate that.

AoF Charter

The Axis of Fear was created by current ruler of Aligar, Supreme Emperor Stephan Richards Carius, who wrote the following charter for the AoF.

Pre Application and Membership Charter:

1) You must be willing to deploy forces around the world to counter and attack enemies of the region and its glory.
2) The nation’s government cannot be any kind of democracy or any variations. If a nation that applies is said government type they will be ignored and banned from ever attempting to join the alliance again.
3) Your nation must a population at least over 20 million, any nations smaller than that will not be accepted unless pardoned by a member of the Emperors Council or the Founder.
4) A background check must be made before we are to allow you in, so you must allow us to make the necessary measures before taking you in.

Remember joining the AoF is a long and hard process and once accepted you have made a commitment, a bond that will hold together and cannot be broken. Once joining you have joined the forces of hell and cannot leave unless told too.

Post Membership Charter Chapter 1:

1) All members must render assistance to any member that has been attacked or invaded by a nation not in the AoF.
2) All members must be required to assist other members in any offensive movement that they require help in.
3) All members nation must have a form of a totalitarian type government, no democracies or variations of it will be allowed.
4) Any two members may not declare war on each other, if this happens it will result in temporary expulsion from the AoF until the conflict is resolved.
5) A Military Council will be formed to help organize the region/alliance’s offensive and defensive measures. Any and all member nations must join the Military Council and unless said otherwise must attend all meetings.
6) All member nations must submit a small portion of their forces to join the regions joint military, the Axis’s Army. A minimum of 10,000 Infantry Units must be submitted to join. Any nation that does not live up to those expectations will be expelled from the region/alliance until further notice.

Post Membership Charter Chapter 2:

1) All members shall open trade with all other members, free of tariffs.
2) Members are expected to respect the laws other members have regarding trade.
3) If tariffs or sanctions are set up by a member nation on another they will be dealt with swiftly and our methods and punishment aren’t very humane.
4) Any piracy what so ever committed by a citizen of a member nation will be considered an act of even if the citizen has no ties to the government.

Positions

Many positions are offered to member nations for the AoF. Positions such as a member of the Emperors Council, the War Master, the Scribe, the Founder, and the Second Emperor all of which give great amounts of power over that field to the person in control.

War Master

The War Master keeps track of all wars that occurred in between the AoF and outside forces and picks and chooses wars to come. The War Master must be a leader of a very large, warmongering, nation and must be experienced in strategy and war. The War Master would also have control of the Axis’s Army.

Scribe

The Scribe is like a historian only keeps track of politics, wars, deaths and everything that has to do with the AoF.

Second Emperor

The Second Emperor has the second most power over the AoF. The Founder, also the Emperor, has the most. In the situation where the current Emperor dies or needs his position to be filled in for a while the Second Emperor takes his place.

OOC: Okay let me please get thsi straight, this is not just for chaos and evil and all that and it does not support genocide. This topic really pisses me off because you guys are dogpiling me when this wasn't meant to be any of the things you guys accused it to be of in your letters and messages. It is just simply a place for dictatorships, oligarchies and other more totalitarians type nations to come to. It isn't for chaos and all that stuff so please stop it with that crap. I only made it so that there could be another world alliance of nations that wasn't boring and for democracy since that isn't what we are. It is just like a dictator safe haven so can we please stop the dogpile. I have to indefinitely stop the continue taking the Faxanavians awau from my nation but please for the rest of you don't even come. That would be for NB and Allanea, this alliance just emans that we support dictatorships and stuff not genocide, utter chaos, tons of war, death, super evil and all of the stuff you guys listed before.

THE CENTRAL STATE OF AGRANDOV
One State. One Party. One Future.

Open Declaration

Whichever insolent whelp this may concern.

The Glorious Empire of Agrandov, and the associated Central State, has nothing but contempt for this weak and powerless organisation of fear-mongers, criminals and the outright deluded. The Central State refuses to recognise your pitiful organisation as a legitimate alliance or bloc, and instead has declared this malign group as a terrorist organisation. As a result, there will be zero tolerance for any members of this axis in the meddling of Agrandan affairs.

Citizens of any false-state in this illegal league are hereby refused entry into the Central State without explicit permission, and any groups or forces under this banner of cowardice within the Empire will be subject to summary destruction without trial or warning.

The cowardly "Supreme Emperor" Stephan Richards Carius of Aligar is now declared an enemy of the state of Agrandov, and will not under any circumstances be allowed to enter the Central State or its colonies. All military forces have been authorised to arrest this man should the opportunity arise, although the tiny nation of Aligar is currently not worth the finger-movement it would take for Agrandov to crush it.

I expect to be writing a similar declaration in the future, offering aid to the suffering Aligarian people who will be under the burden of war. For their pathetic government's tasteless insult to established and genuinely dangerous alliances, I suspect that it is the people who will pay dearest.

Emperor Jacob Simon Shaw,
Emperor of the Central State of Agrandov.

GLORY. MAJESTY. UNITY.

Though the Orwellian Meritocracy is what some may call, "a dictatorship" even we cannot support the complete lack of remorse and intolerable, disgusting support of all that blights our nations- death, disease, famine- nor can we support the absolute evil you so believe in. Yes, Democracy is a flawed concept which is a stain upon our earth. Yes, the Orwellian Meritocracy advocates ideas often frowned upon by the more quote-in-quote "civilized" nations of the world such as our utter abhorrence of all communist activity. However, all of our decisions, although in practice they may seem oppressive, are for the best of the people and the world. And unlike you, we do not advocate death. We do not advocate destruction. And we most certainly do not this abhorrent waste of an alliance.

As such, the Orwellian Meritocracy of Faxanavia no longer recognizes the sovereignty of the state of Aligar or any nation within this alliance bloc. All citizens of Aligar will be excised from our population, and an embargo will be placed on all products of Aligar creation. Finally, the 4th and 5th Carrier Battle Groups of the Faxanavian Navy will be dispatched to international waters just outside of Aligar, and will form a blockade on all Aligarian trade. Be forewarned- if any member of this abhorrent alliance makes any sort of threat on another nation, we will not hesitate to trod on you like the tiny bug you are.

Respectfully yours,

"This is Admiral John Wayne Creston HPS Valhalla. Do you all copy?" A chorus of "ayes" and "yes's" rang across the radion. Admiral Creston was one of the six commanding admirals which made up the leadership of the deployed forces now nearing Aligarian waters. The other voices on the wire were the 5 other admirals, in direct conference over shortwave radio. "Right. Our mission is to keep these waters free of Aligarian military forces. You all know what to do."

The Admiral returned to his desk and fired off a short message to Aligarian military bases on the coast.

|Official Faxanavian Communication|
I am Admiral John Wayne Creston of the HPS Valhalla. Be forewarned that the 4th and 5th Faxanavian carrier groups are stationed in international waters, and have been ordered to shoot down any and all military water vehicle of Aligarian registry entering or exiting your nation, as per decree by the Imperator.

To the Axis of Fear Leader Stephan Richards Carius,

We condemn the acts of cowardice and possible warmongering by you. I hope to see one day you starting a war so that we can deploy our troops and crush you and your ignorant troops then raise our flag upon your land and the stupid Axis of Fear nations and land. You have no right in this world. We let your genocide of that town go by but this we will not. Be forewarned.

Thing were going on as regular, the only differences were that now AoF flags were being risen to be flew next to the Aligarian flag. New uniforms were handed out to most of the nigher ranked military units and and groups. Their new units were grey and had the Aligarian Flag on the right arm and the AoF Flag on the left. Admiral Kerry Frerer changed into his new, improved, AoF Uniform and soon was the first to receive the message. He read it and started typing and sent out his reply.

[Official Aligarian Reply]

Well hello sir, I am Admiral Kerry Frerer, I run and organize most of the Military Bases near the border that you are currently approaching. As I can see from the coast you have made a blockade and you have threatened to shoot down any and all military ships. Now since standard procedure for Aligar is to have at least 1 escort ship per trading vessel. Now will you stoop down to that low a level to kill merchants? Needless to say if you take down any Aligarian ships coming into our exited Aligarian Territorial Waters then that will be considered an act of war and we will deploy a necesary amount of ships to take down your cowardly blockade. We will not allow a dogpile of nations like you coming down upon us. Our sovereignty shall be kept and remain the way it is and not fall under the banner of stupid fucks like you. Pardon my language.

One Iowa Class Battleship was readied and had only the necesary crew to comandeer it and fight back in defence need be. The ship was being sent to see if the Faxanavians were true in ethir threat. But not only would it show them the truth but it would give them a reason to attack which almost every soldier and marine on the border was anxious to do.

An hour later it set sails and went off. It neared the enemy fleet and went closer and closer ready to take the damage from the warmongering monsters.

Adm. Creston gaped. They were actually testing him. Well, he was to follow orders. Turning to the long range radio, he haled the inbound ship. "This is the HPS Valhalla. We have been given orders to fire on you. Turn back now. I repeat, turn back now." One of the several destroyers in the 4th armed armed prepared to fire one of its Harpoon missiles if the Iowa class did not turn back. Meanwhile, on the decks of the carriers, planes were fueling up. It looked like war was imminent.

Adam Cerrig and the rest of his small crew which was smaller than a regular Iowa class battleship crew heard the message from the Faxanavian Fleet. Adam snatched his long range radio up and replied to the Faxanavians.

"Well my dear jackass, I do not feel like turning around for my arms got quite a beating last night. Maybe I will turn back tomorrow or when you leave. See right now you are in no place to bargain since I have almost the entirety of the Aligarian Navy approaching these bases you have blocked off. A moments notice they shall be upon you and slaughter all of you for your ignorrance and arrogance."

The boat kept moving foward. His orders were to get as close to the Faxanavian Block as possible before getting shot at. Foward, closer and closer it went to the block. The crew tensed ready to jump to battlestations in second or jump overboard. They knew they were most likely going to die,a nd so did Admiral Frerer that is why besides a few weapons operators and RADAR operators all of the crew was made of slaves which were worthless. The ships neared the block and got ready for possible their ultimate death.

Official Diplomatic Communique to the 'Axis of Fear'

The United Defense Directorate, a mutual defense alliance promoting peace and safety through technological superiority, has by some accidental short circuit of our communications network gotten wind of your alliance and its pledge to sow chaos in an already chaotic world. Though it would give many of our members great satisfaction to crush this affront to our organization and all that it stands for, UDD doctrine states that as the name implies we are a defense alliance and will not attack unless in retaliation or war is imminent.

In this letter the Directorate officially comdemns your 'Axis of Fear' as a benign tumor on the body of humanity. Ever present, ever annoying, yet little can be done unless signs of malignance are shown. In the spirit of our generous nature, we will offer you some free advice: Disband and stand down. Should you fail to do this pray that your interests never directly conflict with ours. We are watching.

Though the we share your sentiments concerning the newly founded 'Axis of Fear', the United Defense Directorate does not agree with your current naval blockade of Aligerian coastal ports. Through this military action, though potentially justified, you have made yourself the aggressor in an unecessary conflict.

Aligar, being a relatively new nation is to the knowledge of our intelligence analysts the only member nation of said 'Axis' and on the global scale possesses little threat. To save your navy from potential though unlikely losses, we advise that you lift the blockade as it is a costly waste of resources to your nation. Please take this friendly advice to heart.

There was no warning shot. No preparation. The ship simply fired. Two Harpoon missiles and two sparrow missiles arced throw the sky, slamming directly into the Iowa class. Two other ships fired their own missiles on the Iowa class. But, as the first missiles impacted, the ship was already alive with movement. The carriers came alive with activity, and radio communications were relayed back to the homeland. Faxanavia was about to enter a state of war. Immediately, all ships within the 4th and 5th prepared for immediate combat, and F-22's and AF-17's scrambled from the decks. Within hours, the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th carrier groups would be inbound, as well as several squadrons of fighters. However, the ships would just have to buckle down and live out the fight that was to come. Already, missile tubes were being loaded, submarines were arming missiles, and the carriers were making ready their defenses. The first battle was about to begin.

Adam Cerik simply saluted as a sparrow missle crashed down upon him and the area of the Iowa ship he was standing on. His small ships was bombarded and torn to pieces by the agressors. The missles and torpedos tore away at his ship until they reached the point that Admiral Frerer wanted it to. The last missile impacted and as it did so the giant bomb stored in the center, replacing all of the crews bunks and much storage, blew and would have inevitable taken any ship near it down with it. The Air Force Base and Naval Bases watching from the coast saw the explosion and saw it as their signal. 20 B-2 Bombers and 25 F-15 Eagles were deployed and launched out to attack the nearby Faxanavian ships and fleet. 20 more Iowa classes were deployed along with 30 oscar class subs and 10 destroyers. From the coast non nulcear ICBMs were launched nonstop at the Faxanavia Fleet. Over and over again were they launched at the enemy fleet. The ICBM strike stopped as the small counterstrike fleet went inbound. The Oscars aimed at the destroyers and carriers and fired 5 torpedos per sub and then they reloaded and fired again. The battleships kept at shooting the tops of the ships. Scores of Sparrows and Harpoon Missiles were fired and rained down upon the enemy fleet. They wouldn't stop, they just fired and killed. The Faxanavians may have thought that they were doing good, but they weren't the Aligarians just came to make an alliance that didn't want to be like the rest and then a blockade was established around Aligar. This wouldn't stand, the Aligarians fought back hard and strong and the Faxanavians would wish they never came near the Axis and its glory.

With a boom that could shatter eardrums, the bomb detonated. Though the majority of the fleet had stayed back, the three Spruance classes were blasted from the water. The ships fired began to go down, their crew members bailing out. Meanwhile, back on deck, the admiral had seen the explosion, and know what it had meant. The fight was about to start in earnest.

"Bogey's inbound! Blow them from the sky!" Wing Commander Ted Alicson roared into his radio with the best of them as he and 60 other AF-17 Mudhen (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13268220&postcount=1) fighters lifted off from the decks of the various ships. The AF-17's were equipped with their usual load- 8 AMRAAM's (six on the wings, two in recessed holding bays in the belly) and two AIM-9 Sidewinders on the wingtips. They hurtled forward in formation, loosing AMRAAM's at the inbound F-15's and B-2's. They would insure that these bombers never reached their target.

The submarines poured their own cruise missiles into the air, firing back on the mainland with non-nuclear tomahawk missiles. Meanwhile, the CIWS of the main carriers poured their own missiles into the air, hoping to destroy any of the hailstorm of ICBM's headed their way. However, many found their targets, and 6 California class and 2 Spruance class were lost to this destruction.

The remaining vessels opened fire with their own missiles on the inbound enemy ships. Harpoon BVR missiles arced through the sky, leaving trails of heat, and flame wherever they impacted. The Los Angeles classes scrambled to intercept the torpedoes bound for the carriers, although another Spruance class was lost- six, in total. The remaining destroyers and cruisers opened fire with increase ferosity, and another 45 AF-17's and 15 F-22's lifted into the sky from the various carriers. These were well equipped to take down the ships, with more AMRAAM's and wing mounted Harpoon missiles.

Meanwhile, the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th drew slowly closer to the fray.

"Attention all troops of the Allanean Strategic Bomber wing, this is Red Alert, repeat, this is Red Alert, you must scramble immediately, all troops to your vehicles, all troops to your vehicles…"

Across mainland Allanea, strategic bombers were being primed for combat. Within several hours, a giant armada of aircraft would rise to the air.

It would be composed of 50 Lancaster-II blended-wing strategic bombers, 2,000 Kestril stealth precision bombers, and an escort of 10,000 ACI-73N fighters, flying on extended fuel tanks. It was only a fraction of Allanea's power, but it would have to do – at least until the Allaneans got a navy in range – and that could take days, perhaps weeks.

On the radio, the Presidential Emergency Announcement was already being played.

…an attack on our Faxanavian allies by a genocidal maniac, the dictator of Aligar, cannot, and will not, pass unpunished. We will show the world the power of freedom and the might of Allanea. We will prevail…

Naval ships were prepared, of course. But that would take far too much time – and the aircraft would be there in a matter of hours.

They headed right for Aligar itself, avoiding the area of the battle, for the Allaneans had a plan.

IC
From: His Most Gracious Imperial Majesty Wyatt von Waldenburg IV
To: The Commonwealth of Faxnavians

through even through the dampest wood there is the chance of flame, must we, as arbiters of nationality, and the princes of a grander merit be forced, through our own stupidity and pettiness to allow the tinctured elegance of statecraft to be fractured by armed conflict. This is no war sir, we have reports that Aligarian ships have been fired upon for breaking an illegal blockade, fired on with casualties that merit no less than an act of war should not your blockade already constitute one.

We are, by this situation, naturally vexed, and though we do not agree with the wording or general message of the AoF we recognize it’s right to exist as a people, the indelible right of a nation to decide what is best for itself and offer that venue to other nations. It is amongst the wisdom of angels that men try to better themselves, and any one who interdicts this about their course is shattering the very principle upon which modern civilization, and mankind are based.

There shall be no blockade, there shall be no more conflict, His Majesty the Emperor demands it and shall see it enacted less we become rather more vexed. Imperial shipping shall not be interdicted and any attempt to do so will be classified as an act of war against the Waldenburg Empire, and the Holy Waldenburger Church. You have been warned sir, and future actions may very well damn your cause and your people. Think carefully on the matter when choosing another’s state for your own, there is always a bigger fish, and this particular fish sir has teeth. And though we are sure equally large fish shall come to your aid, in the manner of proverbs, there is always someone larger. Think carefully on the matter.
Signed:
By the Grace of God His Most Gracious Imperial Majesty Wyatt von Waldenburg IV

The ship had been dispatched before the first shot had been fired, before the first message sent, and in a proverbial sense before the AoF had raised it’s head. No however it was on course, moving as freighters do in straight lines through a orbiting sea.

A red cross rippled from the boon lines, and a skeleton crew manned the deck of Judah as it cruised through the night. The sailors were perhaps not so sure in their prowess, form this vantage point, than the Emperor from his gilded office, but if the word did not carry weight then there were other things that would. With radios turned off and engines running at half speed, the Judah pressed through the invisible line of the Faxnavian blockade. They could see a few masts on the horizon and hoped that’s exactly where they would stay. through even through the dampest wood there is the chance of flame, must we, as arbiters of nationality, and the princes of a grander merit be forced, through our own stupidity and pettiness to allow the tinctured elegance of statecraft to be fractured by armed conflict.

In a more patriotic and far stretching way they hoped the Faxnavians would approach quickly and act as it had been intended.

Dear sir,
I well recognize the the meaning of the words sent to us by your Imperial Majesty. And, while I have taken these words and thought on them long and hard, I am forced to state my overall feeling, the feeling which has led to the actions taken by Faxanavia.

My feeling, sir, and you must concur with me, is that scum such as this must not be tolerated. These people, who seek to sow discontent, to sow the means of the worlds chaos. These are people who would kill and maim and rape, who would raze your nation to the ground. We cannot condone the lives of these people, never mind their goals. I realize that the actions which I have taken may seem aggressive in nature. Yet, I feel they are justified, as what these people seek to do is yet more so.

We can only assume that this is not a threat against the Faxanavian nation. I can only hope that you will understand what I say, and realize that while we fight a dirty battle, the battle these people would fight would be dirty with the blood of millions.

Respectfully yours,
Hephaestus Blackforge
Imperator

The tiny freighter appeared as but a blip on the Valhalla's RADAR. Though in the fit of battle, Admiral Creston managed to hail it down. It was clearly not Aligarian, as it was not firing on the Faxanavians. If it were not of Aligarian allegiance, the tiny ship would pass unharmed. It now all hinged on what was to be said...

Message to Aligar:
The people of The Glorious Republic of the United Socialist States of the Northern Baltic will not sit idle as you, a warmongering dictator, sits on a throne of gold with your enslaved starving people in shackles, begging at your feet for mercy. For to long have we tolerated the state of downright beastility that your people live in. We refuse to allow your existence for any longer. We wish to free your people from their shackles and your unjustified cruelty.

We, The Northern Baltic, wishes to hire 10,000 of your men for an amphibious invasion of Aligar. We will provide weapons, if needed, and transportation to the beaches, if needed, however we wish for you to name a price before we can fully decide if we wish to hire your men for the upcoming battle.

The icy wind blew into the large harbor as the Battlegroup prepared to leave port. Men and material were being loaded onto the ships. 100 Longboat Class Cruisers stood side by side, waiting. Anxious for battle. Admiral Gorshbin, Commander of the Expeditionary Battlegroup, inhaled a large sniff of the cold, salty air. He sensed their anxiety.
"What does it smell like, sir?", his aide and lifelong companion, Brenda asked jokingly.
"Victory", he replied.

We do not share your sentiments on the matter. What nation is defined by hate for another, what people must fight a preemptive war for the benefit of a equally 'dirty' oligarchy. It is plain which party would rape the other, whose lands would be taken and whose moral high ground is the more bloody.

We are however, a theocracy a nation of God, our armies are in heaven and our worth is in the soul. Our hands cannot be stained by ones blood to ensure the bloodying of the rest. Waldenburg shall have no part in this. It should however be noted that our interests will not be harmed by any party should they take the displeasure of the Emperor. And the Waldenburger Division of the Red Cross shall provide aid to all parties within the conflict zone. A warship will be dispatched to the area as well to observe the happenings as well, we pray there shall be no foul play and should there be, we are prepared to do duty by our scriptures.

The small banners waved merrily on the dock as the 32nd Regiment of the Divine Legion paraded in a small and quiet fashion. There had been some problems as the freighter approached the docks of Aligar, they weren't actually sure where they were, but the Church had thrown together the detachment in a few minutes, and packed them into a bulk freighter. And when armed soldiers, all of them over two meters tall started pouring onto the deck there had been a few confused feelings. These were Colonial troops tanned and lean, from months on the far flung ends of the Empire.

They had brought more than themselves, and crates were being hauled out of the freighter as fast as the cranes could manage, although on direction of the Divine Legion they were set down very carefully. After a very considerable amount of fumbling about a message was sent to Waldenburg, very plainly unencrypted, and requesting that the Red Cross arrive quickly and without hindrance.
--

"The Red Cross does a bang up job now a days," one man remarked casually as he lifted another bag of nameless field rations into the waiting hold of the C-130, one of the last being loaded. His companion nodded glumly, and straining lifted another set of stingers into the one of the crates, which after a small break he paused to hammer up. The sound however, and any snappy response he could have made would have been drowned out by the sound of a thousand idling engines, and the occasional roar of one of the monstrous C-130's lifting off the ground.

Everything that could be needed was packed within the holds, from missiles to rations, from cannons to boots, the Red Cross delivered. On all of the bleached white hulls of the aircraft there was painted a cross of Saint George, emblazoned with silver, which usually lead to the most tragic mishaps in communication, but still managed to give the message someone was watching out for you. It would take three days, and a round about trip through the Empires randomly distributed colonies, but when they arrived the sheer number, 1100 would darken the sky.

OOC I do apologize about the unopposed landing but I assume you do not mind the help?

As the planes flew up off of their ships volleys and volleys of AA Missiles shot leaving black streaks across the sky behind them. As the red flicker of light from impact shone they would fire more and they kept on firing.

CWISs were fired to stop the incoming Tomahawks. Many crashed and didn't impact but others hit and touched down bringing three harbored Iowa's to the ocean floor and leaving a bloody mess of one port and town killing civilians as well. Some of the attack Aligarian ships took the fire and three sank but another 10 left port to attack the bombers left the area and as they left 90 more F-15 Eagles replaced them. Missiles were flying from all directions, some ramming eachother, others hitting their target.

Admiral Kerry Frerer after watching the unfolding battle boarded his ship and it went off into the mist of battle. His goal was to get to the Valhalla and sink it and laugh as it floated down to its airless death and Admiral Creston breathed in a mouthful of sea water and have his lungs explode.

Admiral Gorshbin gazed out at the endless sea. Its rhythm soothed him. A passing helicopter brought him back into reality.
"Sir. Inspections are complete. All ships are reporting 100% malfunction free."
With a slight nod and half-hearted salute, he dismissed the young officer and, with a quick look at the folded flag of the Northern Baltic he had on his desk, a tear escaped his eye as he was reminiscing of his son: a victim of the New Manth gas attack on Rekyavik.
He straightened himself up and, with a short salute to his past memories, he left his cabin for the bridge; pausing on the way to gaze at the group of ships surrounding him. He was proud.
It would only be a short time until he could prove himself in combat. The fleet attempted to make contact with the Faxanavian and Allenean forces.

The Allanean aircraft were approaching the borders of Aligar, but they had no intention of actually entering Aligari airspace. As a matter of fact, their first attack would be launched from far away, far enough to be out of range for most conventional aircraft to intercept.

From the Allanean aircraft streaked out BGM-299 (http://www.forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12801336&postcount=22) missiles. Each of the Kestrel bombers carried only two of them – one thermobaric and the other dual-purpose. At 2,500-kilometer range, they targeted the military bases and air defense systems all over Aligar's shoreline closest to the aircraft. Between them, 4,000 missiles were launched.

After that, they turned and went home.

Non nulcear ICBMs that almost were waiting for the Allanean attack fired up from many of the shorline bases aiming at the incoming missiles. Missiles after missiles was fired and lost and more fired to replace it. They didn't aim atthe attackers though because of the fact they were leaving. They would definitely turn around and attack and slaughter just about everyone if they did attack them so they aimed at the missiles. Many were taken out but a large portion hit its targets and two entire bases, small ones though, were destroyed and many, many more severely damaged.

They came upon whatever sea worthy vessels they could, on the far side of the island, so as to be unseen by the warring ships. Hundreds of boats carried 100,000 eager warriors, their savagery unparalleled in all the world. These were hired by the defenders. True, Northern Baltic had offered a good deal, but teh defenders had offered $100,000,000,000, more money then had ever existed in the Tabor homeland.

The defenders meanwhile were already heading towards the deepest jungle, swamp or forest they could find, though such a large number could not be hidden. Over 4,846 warbands had been hired to defend the island, and their strategy was simple: spread out, hunker down, and wait for the attack. Slowly they spread, each warband saying goodbye to their tribesmen as they spread out.

They didn't know if the civilians had been warned, frankly they didn't care. Within minutes the crime rate would shoot up 36%, the Tabor not comprehending the concept of "ownership." They oooed and ahhhed at the sounds of distant missles, and eagerly awaited a ground invasion.

However, there was some dissent. Some had looked around, saw the wealth of the country, and wondered why they didn't join the attackers in pillaging, looting, and rape. Their respective Warboss usually settled the argument with a bullet in the brain, or worse, a scalping. Still, in the back of their minds, the option was open if they didn't get paid.

So there they were, modern primitives with no support, relying on pure skill, guile, and a ferocity not known since the Ice Age.

"Evasive maneuvers!" the crackle of radio ripped through the headsets of the AF-17 pilots as their planes dipped and dived, loosing missiles into the fray. The CIWS were providing a challenge- the massive batteries poured missiles out like water, and evasion was tough. The pilots pushed their birds to the limit, but 25 fighters were lost in the onslaught, leaving 95 still in the air. These loosed their own AMRAAM's and Harpoons at the ships below, hoping to score hits and cripple the CIWS and vessels. However, things looked grim, which is why a cheer went up as, over the horizon, a saviour came.

"This is the 22nd wing, inbound and prepared to do battle with the enemy." The sound rang through headsets, and pilots laughed with joy. 200 AF-17 Mudhens soared into the battle, their nosecone mounted guns blazing and missiles ripping through the air. This was the first stage of the air offensive, dispatched to aid the war against Aligar. More aid was on the way, but for now, the 22nd loosed their own missiles into the battle, aiming to destroy the Aligarian ships and cripple their defenses.

Shortly following those words were the words of the Captain:
Attention all personal. Our ally is in need of our assistance. They are currently engaged in a fierce battle with Aligar forces. For as long as any of our people can remember, the first pride of the Northern Baltic has always been her navy. Let us prove that today.

A thunderous boom follow closely by the purposely delayed launch of the BrahMos missles from the cold VLS system was not simply heard, but felt on the ships.

From crude telescopes peering out of the tops of trees, some warbands watched the ensuing naval battle of titanic proportions. From a very safe distance they watched in awe, making sure to remember as much as they could, for one day they would tell their children on the Dragons on Water, so eager to kill each other.

Now the Tabor were here for a reason: to feed their families, to help their communities, and to get the training that would allow them to charge even more for their services. And yet, they wondered why this war had broken out. The witchdoktor told them the spirits had instigated it, so that the Tabor might grow rich. Some had their doubts however, and after a few drinks they began to speak of the wickedness inside man.

Some of the younger warriors didn't know what to think.

So, they watched, and waited, and built camps and forts in the woods and swamps, waiting for the inevitable fighting to begin.

The current floating out were being pummeled. 60 Iowa's from were currently in the battle along with 30 destroyers and 60 submarines, but some ships started to pull out to go to the other sides and borders of Aligar. The coast bases kept on shooting at the fighters and the 90 Aligarian fighters were getting closer to the Faxanavian planes.

Sparrow missiles, two from each plane, were shot at nearby enemy planes and if they missed they would fire rounds and rounds of their machine guns at them. Harpoon missiles rose up from the Iowas only to come back down to hit a enemy ship. The oscat class subs kept on letting out payloads of torpedos upon the ships and everything was going pretty well.

But then it happened.

The missles from the Northern Baltic ships almost came out of no where and rained down upon the Aligarians. Six ships sank before counter actions were made and even then another four to five went down. A few fighter planes started dropping from being hit with missiles that went too high and one base that the missiles were aimed at went up in flames. Luckily that building being just a registration facility and only secretaries and lawyers were in it.

The volleys of missiles and ICBMs were split into two, most of it aiming at the new threat and the rest for the Faxanavians. From inland companies and companies of men were coming in to protect the shores when the inevitable was to occur, the land invasion.

The men carried many different guns, from Colt Pistols to giant mounted machine guns and RPGs. They started going into the destroyed ruins of building and used the missing walls facing the water as an advantage. To get to inland to cities and stuff one must go up a large hill, which is well fortified. The men would give the enemy Infantry hell.

A large part of the deployed navy leaft the battle and retreated and almost all harbored ships left port to go to other harbors and port away from where the newest part of the battle would occur. It was obvious that the Baltics were superior in their navy and naval warfare but the Aligarian soldiers gathering on the hill tops and shore were sure that they weren't for crap when it came to land battle.

The Allanean ships would not arrive soon, but the Freemen had prepared a different sort of strike. From Allanea came now a different sort of aircraft – B-22 bombers, flying in giant formations, escorted by fighter-bombers. Again, a gigantic overflight was in the works – 2,000 aircraft, protected by their own anti-missile systems, and by escorts of twice that many Aquila-II fighters.

Again, they didn't need to actually fly over the enemy territory.

On their terrain maps were marked points within 36 miles of the shores of Aligar – though, of course, no Aligari could yet know about that particular factoid.

The Faxanavian planes in the air were damaged by the missiles fired by the 90 Aligarian F-15's, but they were far from defeated. There were still over 500 planes in the air, and they went to town on the Aligarian F-15's with their AMRAAM's, firing the missiles at both the ships below and the planes above, the Faxanavian pilots swooped and rose, flying effortlessly over the melee below.

The Faxanavian ships were under heavy fire. The CIWS were holding them at bay, yes, but the ships were still sustaining heavy damage. It was time to turn the tables a little bit. From out of the water, 10 Los-Angeles Classes submarines rose and launched their loaded payload, firing off into the sky 25 tomahawk cruise missiles each. In total, 250 arced into the air, and began to rain like death from above on the enemy fleet.

"This is Phoenix Wing 2, inbound and ready to bring it to the enemy." 200 of the vast B-22 Zeus Strategic Bombers flew in a huge v-formation, like the worlds most deadly geese. Around them, an escort of AF-18's buzzed, keeping close tabs and preparing to intercept any missiles or fighters which would challenge the B-22's. These B-22's each carried the maximum possible bomb weight- 211,000 kilograms. Together, they carried almost 42,200,000 kilograms of dumb bombs. These would rain down upon the Aligarians, their military bases and their major cities. They would come to fear the death from above.

OOC dated a bit forward.

The last viola halted in a graceful drone, and the song was done, the atmosphere shattered, and once again the faint drone of engines could be heard.

“My Lord, we are approaching, Flight Group Seraph reports a land sighting, and we have radioed ahead of our arrival.” A frock coated waiter whispered into the ear of a seated figure aboard one of the countless C-130’s that dotted the skies for miles upon countless miles. The Bishop nodded and slowly stood from his chair, placing the champagne flute on a gilded side table and wandered over to one of the many windows. It was just beginning to be a feeble dawn, with the sun just barely clawing through the condensation on the windows and the predawn light.

From the vantage of the sound proofed, or at least reduced, C-130 it was all a surreal dream, and as semaphore light clicked on and off besides the hulls of planes there was a general feeling to the air that the Red Cross would not fail, that their opposition would simply roll over and be trampled. It was perhaps a fallacy that ought to be propagated amongst the crew of the Red Cross. Bishop Retirun made a small mental note of the subject and returned to his chair, and motioned for one of the waiters to bring him his laptop, which after the usual warm up he began to type away on it. Though the mission was of some importance to the Church, it was not his main task in the skies, and he was by no way the commander, but his specialty could be furthered by the intricate political situation being formed on the ground, although perhaps no one else saw it, eventually it would become obvious, but for the moment it was fragile and unsure. It would be some hours before the aerial convoy came even relatively close to the area of action, and it frightened the Bishop that they were flying unescorted over what could very quickly become enemy territory.

“Your Grace,” the slightly worried face of the waiter appeared over his shoulder, “Oh I’m sorry did I wake you? Captain Mirron has reported that we have spotted artillery fire about eight miles from the vanguard’s current position. The captains wish to deploy quickly and refuel, and continue.”

Retirun hazily rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, and glared at the waiter, he had been having a rather pleasant dream. He began to open his mouth when his sleeping laptop pinged it was awake, and with a hand guided by experience, the Bishop flipped opened the lid and stared muzzily down on the flashing words. It was perhaps an oddity of Waldenburg perfered the simplest method of communication, which at the moment involved Yahoo Messenger. The only thing required for secrecy was to change the IP address of the computers and that, for the amount of technological expertise of an entire Empire was no challenge at all. Of course it took hardly any effort at all to find the conversation to an equally disposed opponent it hardly mattered. Considering that the Emperor spoke with many and varied agents of the state under the name of WiiPimp, and that his bishops in the field were usually variations of the same the probability of even the most notorious police state in caring were rather slim.

‘How’s it going?’ The laptop flashed.

With a sigh and stiff fingers the Bishop tapped out his message, ‘We’re just about to start.’

‘Make my proud eh?’

‘No other way, we’ll be done in three weeks, I’m sure’

‘Lol’

‘What?’ the Emperor logged off quickly and left the bishop staring at the screen, and the man reflected that any machine could shape it’s user, certainly something worth noting. And it was in the nature of the Bishop to do so. While some of his comrades in the Church watched spiritual matters, some those of economic importance, and some of military affairs, it was in the Bishops prerogative to watch people, and on occasion see what makes them tick.

For a moment he was caught up in the cogitation of his profession before he recalled the waiter who still hovered nervously behind the chair. The Bishop nodded. The waiter left.

--

“Green light, we have a green light, we are live!” A crew chief shouted as he smashed the button to open the massive rear doors of a C-130 that still plummeted through the night. A small digital display slowly clicked off time, and held the rapped attention of the Divine Legion, who huddled behind the massiveness of their packs.

The claxons began to roar and the crew chief gave the men his thumbs up, “Get on then!” he screamed at them, as the first one ran towards the edge and flung himself over. The rest were pulled after him in swift succession whether they wished to be or not, and soon the sky behind the planes was a little mushroom field as the Red Cross feel into Aligar, a good thirty to forty miles, though the operation had called for twenty, the Imperial Intelligence had yet again muffed it, and any closer might seriously of risked the Red Cross to enemy fire or even allies fire should the situation have gone seriously downhill. However it seemed the Red Cross had landed, now though came the seriously more difficult part of removing the planes without damage.

“Radio the Aligarians, ask for permission to land and we’ll be on our way, and uh, we’re the Red Cross remember. Give them 100 gunships for their trouble, I’m sure fuels will be scare, and we shouldn’t trouble them unduly."

Official Government Message to the so called "Axis of Fear"

I have noted with disgust this organization that's chief aim seems to be to devoting your activities to destruction. Does life mean that little to you that you take your chief pleasure in destroying innocents, and nations that did not do you any harm? I must say, in all my 25+ years in the Marine Corps, and the Diplomacy Corps, I have never seen anything like this!

It disgusts me to think of how low you value life! You could prosper, if you only knew the way of peace, but instead you condemn peace, but you thrive in war. Which is horrific to any sensible nation, you and the nations within this Axis of Fear will not receive any goods from my nation, rather I have ordered an embargo in place that will go in effect to this very day.

If, if you'd had decided you would walk in peace, and if your alliance say had the name and goals of Peace, then I'd consider opening diplomatic relations. But, after reading up on your alliance's goals, I have decided against it. As I said before, this horrifies me, the way you devalue life. I hope you get what's coming to you, and remember, if you try anything, it may cost you your alliance and the nations within.

It makes me wretch to see an alliance like this created, this is the kind of alliance that starts the wars that we, the peaceful sheep, want to avoid. You are like the wolves, seeking to devour the sheep that lay in the pasture. Then comes the herdsman with a sling, and he destroys the wolves, leaving them for the vultures, and the ants. Which, in case you don't know of whom I speak, I'll tell you.

The wolves represent you, seeking to destroy any nation you see fit, or otherwise appears as easy pray. Then the sheep, are those nations that you wish to destroy, the "easy targets" as it were. Then the herdsmen, are the bigger nations, like Allanea and Faxanavia (Which happens to be one of our allies) that come in to defend the smaller nations, and then you die. The carrion reference represents the revolts that pop up in your nation when you lose the war, and your leader is deposed, this happens in all of the nations in this alliance. Thus, your nation starts to decay!

I have nothing more to say to you,

Signed,

President Barry R. Macked

The Northern Baltic

Off of Aligar
As the Northern Baltic ships entered the battle, some spread out from the main group to help Allanean ships that were heavily damaged, but most remained in a large group that now began targeting the remaining enemy ships still in the fray.

Once the submarines and ICBMs had been detected, the ships threw everything they had at them. S-400 missile systems and CIWS systems clouded the skies with machine gun rounds and missiles. Jamming systems were also deployed and, as a last ditch plan, smoke systems were also ready, though the ships were probably moving to fast for the missiles to target; ICBMs were never made to target moving objects. Anti-submarine rocket launchers and contact mortars prepared to fire. Both were much more effective then depth charges, because they had a much better hit rate and they didn't cloud up the sonar when they were launched. If the submarines attempted to surface, the torpedo tubes, on the sides and front of the boat, as well as the automatic cannons, would make short work of them. As the ships closed in on the enemy ships, the torpedo tubes and automatic cannons would come into range. Once that happened, the automatic cannons could simply shred practically any enemy ship. The 600mm torpedoes and main guns would assure that any ship surviving a shredding would be sent to the bottom.

The Northern Baltic
The invasion fleet, though small by comparison to the invasion fleet that attacked the Maldorians several years earlier, was still fairly large and definitely large enough for the intended job. Thousands of vikings (Marines) boarded their designated vessels as the final preparations for the fleet were being completed. Meanwhile, on the other side of the military base, ground infantry (Ulfsarks) and armored vehicles, heavier then that which the Vikings had, were being loaded onto ships as well. The fleet would leave within a few hours and would be supported by a healthy escort fleet.

OOC: Okay let me say this, READ THE OOC IN THE DAMNED OP!!!!!!! This isn't based upon destruction, it is just for dictatorships, I made this because in the game I hate democracies because of what they did to us. This is not for hate, destruction, tons of war, and all of the crap you listed. Thus I will ignore your embargo. I don't want to trade with you so your sayign "I won't trade with you" doesn't matter. Your post and everything in it will be ignored for all of the stuff you condemn it to be is not the alliances goals. I am just wondering but has anyone ready any of the OOC?

OOC: And I quote:
The nations of Axis must be of the utmost evil, no pussies from the nations lead by elected, fair leaders. We are here to bring darkness where there is light, bring death to where there is sprawling life, bring hunger and thirst to a place once feasting, and to walk up to your door step and put a bullet in your head as you walk outside.

See, we're condemning that. We don't like that ICly, and we're doing something about it. If you don't like people responding to your actions, don't post them in the first place.

OOC: I read the OOC. However, my nation for one opposes dictatorships, and crushes them wherever they are weak enough to be crushed. You not being aggressive in terms of foreign policy matters little to my people IC. Also, what Faxanavia said.

This alliance is like EVIL, but with more fail

OOC: Long time no see Skgorria. I have to admit I was a little scared when I saw your name and a post here. Die Boerestaat does that. But, didn't you get nuked into oblivion?

OOC: I understand that but we didn't do anything or commit any acts of agression it was just making us looker bigger and darker and evil when truely we aren't as bad as it says. But please everyone I am going to make a second thread of this because this thread has become a war and is scaring nay potential members away. Fax, Allanea, and NB can we please finish this and then youg guys ignore it. You can come and kick my ass if I do something to you but once I fight the currently attacking troops off can you just ignore this all, the alliance, me and possibly even forget about the battle.

Hey there NB, it's been a while. Atopiana was the one who bit the dust, and me and him have combined our nations together and forged a new one. We're not Nazis and fascists now, we even have some democracy. ;)

But Die Boerstaat...oh man, that was genocidelicious

OOC: I don't think you quite see it. We are perfectly aware that you have done nothing. However, we are ICly being proactive. I see it as you made an IC movement, and now you have responses. If you choose to simply say, "No, I don't want that." then you shouldn't have made said IC movement. I have no reason to want to ignore you or this. The only reason I would want to ignore you is if you persist that this is how you want to RP. If you continue to say, "no, this isn't what I wanted you guys to do" or something of the like, then its not really how an RP proceeds, and it does give me reason to wish to ignore you.

OOC: But what you don't understand is that I made no IC movement I typed up a friggen alliance charter and did nothing but post it. ICly I didn't make an movement I only set up an alliance. I don't care that you did this crap to me but what I do care is that you give me such shaky casualties when I throw tons of crap at you only 5 planes go down? What the hell is that about? I have been giving you realistic casualties but I would like to get that in return if I am to continue this battle. To get dogpiled for saying something is stupid but you know what I will continue on RPing this crap thing. But like I said earlier I am making a second thread for people to join in so don't attack me there only here in this thread.

OOC: We are AWARE you set up an alliance, that's what I am reacting to.

But, frankly, I don't care.

As far as I am concerned, in my nation's history, what happened - that my aircraft attacked targets in Aligar - happened. I don't plan to retcon it, but if you insist on not accepting further events as part of your continuity, then I will simply avoid further posting in this thread, as it's clearly not worth my time.

I must concur with Allanea. If you are so disinterested in continuing this war, then I see no reason to continue wasting my time here. Please remove the unflattering reference to my nation from your history on the first page, and I bid you good day.
