The Kraven Wehrmact Headquaters: Noska, Arterus

Field Marshal Hanz Broder, stood looking out the window of his office, The New Kraven army stood in formation below him, the parade ground was vast and various officers of the Werhmact stood shouting orders and watching as each of the Platoons of Panzergrenadiers performed the drills...

His uniform was Military grey, with red lapels, the uniform was well presented and pristine, well looked after and most of all, Smart.

http://www.germanwarmachine.com/thirdreich/images/1938/vonblomberg.jpg

He ran a hand across his face, he'd been awake for sometime now, looking through Dossiers and trying to get things into order before Lord Reichmarshal Helghan came in to check things out, he was always worried that what ever he did would not be good for The Lord Reichmarshal, but regardless he tried and often did his best.

He opened the top pocket of his tunic and withdrew a silver cigarette case, taking out a white stick, he placed it into his mouth then fumbled around in his pocket for a box of matches, taking it in hand he deftly removed a matched and struck it against the side, watching it suddenly ignite in a bright flurry of fire, before dying out to a gentle flame, enough now for him to light the cigarette.

Blue smoke billowed out from the white stick as the tobacco inside ignited and he took two deep drags on the cigarette, savouring the taste and the smell before placing the matchbox back into his pocket and holding the cigarette between his fingers.

He leant against the window frame and continued to watch the parade below, A Military brass band struck up and started to play stirring marching songs as the formation now left wheeled around and began to march around the perimeter of the parade ground.

There was a knock at the door of the Field Marshals office, it was Reichminister Hanzel, he stepped in through the door...

"Herr Field-Marshal... I'm not interrupting am I?" The Reichminister spoke, looking around the room incase the Field Marshal was entertaining any guests.

"No... Herr Reichminister... Please come in, Drink?"

"No, Herr Field-Marshal, I'm very busy, I don't have the time for such pleasantries..." He did look slightly dissapointed that he couldn't enjoy a drink with the Field Marshal, they were good friends before The Kraven Wars, and managed to survive the almost daily purges the Former Regieme undertook on the civilians.

Still there was plenty of time for drinks later, once Kraven had rebuilt itself and organised itself again...

"What is it you want anyway, Hanzel?" The Field-Marshal spoke, placing his cigarette into the ash tray and stubbing it out...

"Lord Reichmarshal Helghan is preparing for Diplomatic meetings with some Nations from the International Community, they don't believe Kraven has changed at all, He wants to show them how much we are trying to rebuild what has been lost..." Hanzel spoke, walking across the room and sitting down...

"Yes, I know about it, but what does it concern me with..." The Field Marshal spoke, sitting down at his desk and looking at the Reichminister, while at the same time tenting his fingers together and resting his elbows on the desk...

"Well, Field Marshal, he wants you to be present when he meets the Diplomats..."

"Hmmm, I suppose I have no choice in the matter...." The Field Marshal continued leaning back into his chair and looking at the ceiling...

"Not Really..." The Reichminister laughed... before continuing.

"Anyway, I've been told to leave you this, its a dossier with what He wants you to do... I think he's wanting you to prepare the message to the people of the International Community and send it out...."

"Very well, I shall get on to it straight away...."

"Understood, Field Marshal, I'll inform him when I speak to him next..."

"Thank you, Hanzel.."

"Not a problem, Hanz..... Oh and we'll have that drink sometime... We've gotta do some catching up..."

The Field Marshal chuckled as Hanzel left the room, looking down at the Desk he began to compose the Message to the International Community....

We are delighted to see such progress within the Wehrmacht Reich, a nation that was previously known for genetically engineered super soldiers and totalitarian extremism.

President Aszenmil would be delighted to visit the Reich and observe the changes that have taken place, fortunately, from inside the nation itself, and check out by himself what is being done to restore the Reich.

Greetings to you, We are glad that you can see that Kraven now has a positive goal to work for, rather than the distopian ideals of the Absolute Unification Doctrine, We look forward to meeting with you and will straight away forward documents that will ensure your safe passage into Northern Kraven and the city of Norska.

I, look forward to speaking to you in person.

President Aszenmil looked at the Kraven homeland, extending under him, as his flight cruised over the border. From his point of view, there was still a lot of work to be done before the Reich could fully recover from the wounds it had sustained during it's existance, specially that under Father's rule. His thoughts were interrupted by the pilot informing him that they were going to arrive at the airport shortly.

Half an hour later, he found himself disembarking and going into the terminal. He was dressed with a smart, black suit, bearing a small "Soviet flag" pin on his breast pocket, so as to facilitate identification by Kraven authorities. He was flanked by several guards, all members from the Staat-Truppen, carrying G65S assault rifles and the standard DDI handguns.

The President was greeted by two Soldiers wearing black uniforms, with black Stahlhelms, their weapons were held ready and as The President and the guards approached, they held them outwards in a parade style fashion followed by a swift click of the Heels...

To the right hand side of them, were two large Banners of the Kraven Eagle and as the Two Wehrmacht Soldiers stood ready, an Oberst of the Diplomatic Korpz approached holding a box of fine cigars..

"Herr President, May I be the first to welcome you to Norska, and may I also present you with this fine box of Cigars, a Gift from the People of Kraven in gratitude to being the first of The International Community to come here on Peaceful Terms." The Obest bowed slightly, offering the box to the President...

The President smiled warmly and accepted the box of cigars.

"Thanks, it's an honor to accept this gift on behalf of the People of TWSP, it'll be very much appreciated back home, myself included. Hopefully, we will be able to return the favour in due time."

Afterwards, he nodded at his guards and made his way into the staff car, where he sat down, very comfortable of course, praising the car as he got inside.

The Oberst ran a gloved hand across the seat of the car, he smiled, and looked up at the President...

"Yes, Herr President, while we've done many attrocities in the past, we did at one point make excellent cars, Our Staff cars were noted for their quality..."

The Motorcade moved on from the airfield and down through streets that were still littered with road blocks and machine gun pillboxes, machine gun sandbag nests were being taken down and dismanteled, while thousands of meters of barbed wire were being bundled up and loaded onto the back of trucks, Flak Cannons were being disassembled and towed away on trucks into Storage, while in other places, Corpses hanging from ropes were cut away.

It was obviously a Kraven city, but efforts were being made to change it, Propaganda depicting Father and the Capitol Police were cut down, and replaced with posters urging people to join the New Wehrmacht army, or the Waffen KSP...

"As you can See, Elements of the old Regieme still exists, were trying to make amends and removing the things that remind us too much of what we were in the past... Even though we can try and forget whats happened, we cannot let it disappear..." The Oberst looked out of the car window at the Corpses that were being cut from the Gallows.... it was a terrible sight, but he knew too that he had a hand in Kravens past... the blood was on his hands also..

"I can certainly see why, the finish of this car is exquisite."

He thought for a second.

"Back home, we just use some Londinian cars we bought for the diplomatic corps a few years ago, nothing fancy really."

He took a peek at the outside, noticing people working on the streets, posters being torn down and fortified positions being dismantled by civilians and soldiers alike. Signs of Father's rule could still be seen, high towers with antennas, CCTV cameras hanging from posts, buildings which looked like they'd fall down any minute, and most important, the look on the civilian's faces, that look of absolute terror, looking at their sides before moving, as if the Capitol Police would come get them at any minute.

"But please, do tell me, what are the Reich's plans for the near future? I can see that you have made big improvements already, but what is that you are aiming for?"

The Oberst thought for a moment, he'd never been asked this question before, and he almost spouted out the Doctrine of Absolute unification, as though it was programmed into his mind...

"I don't really know... I don't think any of us really know, its a dawning of a new era, and were just taking it one step at a time..." He thought for a moment again...

"I suppose, really... we are just looking for a better life..." He smiled and looked out of the window again,

The Motorcade pulled up outside a tall building, part of it had been destroyed and bit of it lay across a wide area, it looked like at one point the building had been extremely high, and the damage caused by the falling parts stretched out across the city... although from their current location it was hard to tell... but the Oberst filled him in...

"This is the Former Palace of Kraven, it was known as the Black citadel, there were five towers, a central spire, that reached up to 2.5 miles into the sky, and four smaller towers that reached to 1.5 miles..."

"It was designed to be seen from anywhere in Kraven, and symbolised the Power of The Kraven Military, when Father was destroyed in the great Secret Police rebellion, part of the tower collapsed, obliterating part of the city...."

The Oberst pointed in the direction of what looked like part of a collapsed building...

"Please, Herr President, Lets step inside..."

At the base of the building were large steps, obsidian stone that glinted in the sunlight, corpses of the feared Kraven Sardaukar phase 4's littered the steps, and people using tow ropes and chains dragged the corpses onto flat bed trucks... this was the site of the last Battle of Kraven....

"That is a noble goal, Oberst, and I really hope it can be achieved someday, by all of us in this world."

The President looked at the Black Citadel with interest, listening carefully to the explanation given to him, it was, after all, part of Kraven's history and he did have a Major in History, the Citadel was certainly amazing, even in it's current state, it must have been a very imponent building during it's good years, back when Father was in command of the entire nation.

The corpses scattered around made even a bigger impression, seeing those lifeless... things laying around, being pulled by simple workers and taken to what he assumed would be an oven designed and built to burn dead bodies (and Kraven probably had a large number of those) really got to him, he had only seen such images once in his life, when the communist revolution triumphed and he had been carried by his grandfather into the Presidential Manor.

Sighing at the tought of his grandfather, long dead, he nodded at the Oberst and entered the Citadel.

A howling of a helicopter's blades threw icy air outwards from the landing site, as the generic black transport hovered slightly above the tarmac. Bringing the swirling blades to a slow stop, and turning off the landing lights, the expert Air Force pilot brought the helicopter down flawlessly. The doors slid open as four soldiers - one squad leader and a fireteam of three riflemen - stepped out in their black combat gear. These were the Imperial Military Task Force, who had been assigned to the personal protection of an Advisor of the Empire. Two agents from the Agrandan intelligence service - the NCI - then exited the helicopter. Instead of black fatigues and AVIR rifles, these elite operatives were smart and presentable with expensive suits and concealed handguns.

The Advisor came next, having been happy to view the great city of Norska from the air. The group of seven had been delivered to the Norska airport by Agrandan diplomatic transport, before being shuffled into a waiting helicopter and sent straight to the point of meeting. An additional four IMTF troops were waiting back on the plane, as no security procedure was overlooked in this potentially deadly situation. The pilot and co-pilot were both armed, and would wait with the helicopter, which itself boasted a 10mm heavy machine gun mounted on each side.

The Advisor had been especially selected, and although the man was essentially a puppet for this operation, he would know exactly what to do. He carried no files or briefcase for this job, and instead opted to occupy his hands by wrapping his thick coat around him further. He was tall and broad, dressed in a smart suit similar to that of the NCI men, but with a sanguine tie as opposed to black. Minor gold ornaments were also present on his person, such as the tag on his left side denoting him as an NCI operative. On his right side there was the symbolic Agrandan laurel wreath in fine gold, although the main ornament was something much more unusual.

The Advisor had been equipped with the latest prototype of the XO-112; a device that covered the left eye and was held in place with a transparent arm over the ear, and a similar clear plastic bridge over the nose. It was similar in size and shape to the lens of a pair of sunglasses, although it was opaque and much thicker, with a definite gap in the middle, through which his left eye could clearly be seen. This device would split incoming light into two beams, with one going to the eye and the other being sent electronically back to the Imperial Senate in Agrandov. It allowed any viewers to see exactly what the advisor saw, and with a powerful microphone mounted under the gap they would be able to hear what he heard. A small microphone on the Advisor's lapel, along with a small speaker by his ear, allowed two-way communication.

In effect, the Emperor himself would be able to freely communicate with all delegates present, without having to arrange for the excessive security procedures regarding his travel to a foreign country. The Advisor was the eyes, the ears and the mouth of the Emperor, and would respect Agrandan interests accordingly. All this was done without compromising the vision or hearing of the Advisor himself, with the added benefit of a Heads-Up-Display. If his view lingered on another individual long enough, a team of researchers back in Agrandov would compile necessary information and present a picture-in-picture profile to the Advisor.

The IMTF troops would remain outside, as such an overt military presence was not seen as acceptable indoors. The NCI men however would flank the Advisor at all times, standing beside him as the group waited at the landing pad for someone from Kraven to meet them.

A Large detachment of Waffen KSP Troops marched into view, goosestepping with unnerving precision, their weapons where held over their shoulders and each of the black uniforms were prestine, each wore a long black trenchcoat as well, holding back the winds, these men were formerly Kreigsmarines and Workers given the option to join the Waffen KSP and help Kraven to rebuild its future...

Many did so gladly, falling for the Charasmatic Charms of the New High Command and the words of Field Marshal Hanz Broder...

The Formed Two lines flanking the helipad, while up the centre walked with great purpose a Lieutenant, of The Waffen KSP, he strode along holding several documents, his trenchcoat billowing in the winds as he approached...

Standing before the diplomat, he Saluted, rising his right arm into the air and clicking his heels together....

"Good Morning, I am Hauptsturmführer Gregarin, I'm sorry, But Herr Oberst of the Diplomatic Korpz, was supposed to meet with you, however he is currently engaged in some pressing matters, So I have been sent along, May I be the first to welcome you into the Kraven Wehrmacht..." The Advisor nodded politely to Gregarin, although he did not return the salute. The IMTF soldiers had remained calm as the Waffen KSP marched towards them, it being obvious that the Kraven troops were ornamental. In the back of their minds, however, each one was mentally processing the VIP protection drills constantly. The IMTF were the finest regular soldiers in Agrandan service, armed with $2000 AVIR PDRs and all with years of combat experience. The Selection process was notorious for its 99% drop-out rate, but those few who remained were the best the nation had to offer.

The NCI agents were a different breed of warrior, covert operatives used as the eyes, and the arm of the Emperor and the Central State. The details of their selection and training had never been disclosed. In no particular formation, they followed Gregarin, with the Advisor and the NCI operatives getting into the warm staff car. The four IMTF troops would follow on foot, waiting outside the destination in order to provide extra security. Although the Advisor was one of hundreds back in the Empire, here he was an official representative of the Empire and would be protected as such. Everyone was relaxed however, which would never have been the case if a Senator or the Emperor was the VIP.

Back in Agrandov, the cacophonous rumble of a Senate in motion filled the circular hall of white and black marble. The Senators stood in casual groups, discussing the latest news and legislation for the Empire. Particular gatherings had formed around the heads of each Ministry, who were the most informed of the ongoings in- and outside of the Empire. A swift silence fell as the shuffled towards their seats, heralding the arrival of the Emperor. His presence, with the newly-tailored Imperial attire of red, black, grey and gold was enough to instil a friendly calm. Although many dictators were iron-fisted tyrants, Emperor Jacob Shaw was unusually positive and warm.

A massive black screen came to life on the wall opposite the Emperor's white marble throne, as the streaming sunlight was blocked out by electric blinds. Artificial lighting lit the ceiling and floor, leaving the Senate in a near twilight. With a wave from the Emperor the screen came to live, as the view of a Kraven staff car's lavish interior was displayed to them. A pair of technicians made some minute adjustments to the prototype technology, and handed a small, wireless headset to the Emperor.

The C-208 Nephilim transport plane wasn't the standard diplomatic courier, but then again, Obafemi Kudoku wasn't a standard diplomat, either. The man was large, to put it simply, a former veteran of the Sovereign Guard-turned ambassador once his three four-year stints of protection of the Emperor had been finished. He'd seen the early days of the Dominion and the transition to the Imperial Council of five, all without batting an eyelash. He wasn't the most diplomatic of men, but that wasn't a cause for worry.

As if they were needed, four of the Dominion's Shock Troopers - the elite soldiers of the Imperial Army - were along for the ride in a protective bodyguard role, their crimson-emblazoned enveloping armor suits a stark contrast to the grey-and-tan interior of the standard battlefield cargo jet. Usually designed to holding soldiers on their way to the middle of a fight, Kudoku was somewhat unused to the surroundings after his last few years on the diplomatic corps. They had other vehicles avaliable, but for some reason the corps had sent him in this.

The ocean poured on as Kudoku blanked absent-mindedly out the viewport, lost in the world of thoughts. He had always been a bit of a supporter of the Kraven way, especially as he had served with the top tier of the Dominion military. The efficiency done in the nation - even with its atrocities - had always appealed to the get'er-done attitude of the former guardsmen. Screw what the international community thought of this and that - it wasn't as if the Amazonian Dominion had a perfect record, either. No democracy reigning its darling yet cluttered head, certainly.

* * * * *

The ride had been bumpy passing over the Kraven terrain - "turbulence," the civilians called it, or the pretty name to keep people from worrying about what was going on. Kudoku hadn't really cared - turbulence, SAM launches, they were all really the same things anyway. Both required a little bit of skill and some good reactions, after all. Hitting land, though, was always a good thing - real soldiers fought on land, after all. The flyboys could have their terrifying hour in the sky, perhaps, but they were military sprinters - the soldiers were the cross-country runners with the endurance to last for days in the same foxhole or bunker.

The Kraven landscape was somewhat changed as Kudoku walked away from the cargo plane - there weren't armed soldiers walking around at every corner. Kudoku hadn't really cared for that much, anyway - the Dominion "police," the Wardens, weren't out for everyone to be seen - they were a force in secret, a group that struck with the ruthless efficiency of the military against civilian issues and problems. A much more efficient scenario. Still, Kudoku wanted to see what the Kraven nation now had to offer.

The vote is currently at out of ten, five for and five who have yet to vote. Being impossible to technically lose the vote and with a strong likelihood of at least one of the remaining votes being for, the Dominion of Ruthless Slaughter has taken executive action being the holder of the position of Co-Chairman to make a premature declaration that the motion passes.

A diplomatic representing the Directorate has been dispatched and is due to arrive shortly. We look forward to a prosperous future for both of our organizations.

The Oberst continued up the stairs and in through two large black doors, they were steel and had been painted with a thick antimagnetic paint, to prevent people using magnetic mines to blow open the doors, each door was at least eight foot across and twenty feet high and across both of them was a huge Kraven Eagle, its wings outstreched across the expanse of the door...

The Door cracked down the centre, parting and allowing access to the interior of the catherdral like building that was the Black Citadel... The Oberst gestured the President into the building with a simple gesture of the hand...

Inside the central lobby so to speak was like a vast cavern, great staircases led upwards into a floor that looked more like another building, the great Hallway was around the size of at least quater of a mile in diameter and inside smaller buildings were housed, The Great Hallway had hundreds of people stood talking, walking with bundles of paper, Guards patroled it was like a city within a Building...

Noticable was the bullet holes that littered the black marble flooring, the walls and various paintings that hung from long cables that were attached to beams that spanned the expanse of the great hall...

"Welcome, Herr President, To The Great Hall...." The Oberst held out a hand and cast it across the hallway...

Banners hung from beams, from walls, flag poles stuck out across the entire radius of the Hallway, various Kraven Regiments, Those lost in battle and those lost during the Time of Father...

In the Centre of a Hallway was a statue, it was a simple bronze statue of a Capitol Police Trooper, he was holding an emergency fire axe above his head, mid swing...

a Plaque beneath it read...

"To The Downfall of The Machine, By Its Own Creation, and Thus Its Own Demise"

"Oh, Herr President, I almost forgot to tell you, All the visiting Dignitaries will have the honour of witnessing the Unveling of the new National Flag by Lord Reichmarshal Helghan later today...."

The President started at the main hall in awe, it was truly an impressive sight, it was, as he had supposed, the heart of the Reich. One could say that every person working here was but a mere cell in Kraven's body, each one of them doing a small menial task which, when added to those of the others, helped move the state.

The statue, however, caught his atention as it had an almost perfect detail, one could believe that the sculptor had been the one recieving the axe-blow, if anything, that might have happened, after all, Father and his Capitol Police were known to be quite the barbarians.

"Impressive Oberst, most impressive."

Aszenmil realized that he had quoted Darth Vader as soon as he finished the sentence, but said nothing, instead, he concentrated on every tiny detail that his eyes could see, bullet holes in the wall mostly.

He looked back at the Oberst.

Lord Reichmarshal Helghans Throne Room, The Black Citadel, Norska

Helghan stood looking out of the window, at the city below, fires still smouldered in the distance, and occasionaly a last pocket of Resistance was wiped out by the forces of the newly formed Kraven Wehrmacht, the current government of Kraven...

Once Father had been destroyed, pockets of resistance still existed, Sardaukar TerrorTrooper deathsquads still roamed the streets annihilating anything they came across in Fathers final act of desperation, setting his most loyal machines from Protection of the Citadel to Extermination...

Helghan can recall quite clearly fathers last words, another explosion echoes in the distance a Deathsquad is forced out of a building and into the open streets where grenades and high caliber weapons are used to bring them down, Each one of these psychopathic Killing machines that was brought down, brought Kraven even closer to freedom from Fathers Regime...

Helghan casts his mind back to the night of a Thousand Demons, as he watches the fireball rise high into the air....

The Black Citadel, One Year Ago... The Fall of Father...

Gun fire echoed all around, Sardaukar Terror Troopers were putting up staunch defenses against the Capitol Police under the Command of Reichmarshal Helghan, they pushed on forwards, using over turned cars for cover and stepping up to let a few rounds off at a targetted Terror Trooper, explosions rippled across the steps of the Great Citadel as 20mm ABHE rounds exploded tearing great chunks out of these machines...

Some were felled instantly, but each one that fell was replaced by another Terror Trooper who was fresh and fully loaded, the Terror Troopers were advancing slowly down the steps, not worrying about cover due to their mental inability to care for their own lives, pure devotion to Father and the cause of Kraven...

Panzer Tanks of the Capitol Police clashed with the mobile forces of the Terror Trooper, Tank Vs Tank, artillery vs Artillery...

it was a cacophony of noise, explosions rippled across defensive walls, while others were peppered with GPMG rounds, tearing chunks out of the masonry and showering the defenders behind in either shrapnel or concrete dust...

Mortar rounds exploded high into the air deonating prematurely as huge 120mm Artillery rounds exploded into the tarmac below, sending huge shockwaves through the ground, as long range Basilisk Artillery also joined in the symphony, sending impressively large shells into the midst, striking the Citadel itself...

Already, Reichmarshal Helghan and a few of the Wolf Brigade Troopers had managed to gain entry, Partly in thanks to Nadia Sklenova, a Khanistani operative who was helped by The Kraven Secret Police...

She managed to secure a way in via the underground system, she'd been informed of a resistance group that were working against Father and they helped her break in, who in turn allowed the Wolf Brigade and Helghan access as well...

He remembered fondly, Nadias look as the Capitol Police stormed fathers mainframe and began to work on it with axes, she was shocked because Helghan had given her a disk that could wipe out Father...

It was only until he explained that the disk was blank and was just a ruse to get her to contact the resistance and basicaly open the Door for him...

(It must be noted, that Father distrusted Helghan enough to prevent him Access to the Citadel...)

Her face drained white, all of the things she'd seen and done, and she was nothing but a gate Keeper... still Helghan kept his word and after it was done, he gave her safe passage back to Kahanistan...

As they went to work on the Consoles of Father, hacking away and ripping out cables, Fathers systems began to shut down, First Helghan remembered, he was loud, speaking omnipitently, as though he was a god speaking to his creations...

"THIS IS MY TIME, THIS IS MY WORLD AND IT SHALL NOT BE DENIED!" each time Father spoke he continued his words, preaching almost to the Troopers who hacked and tore at the instruments...

"I AM THE LORD, I AM DIVINE, I AM THE FUTURE, I AM THE PAST, I AM LIFE, I AM DEATH, I AM THE CREATOR AND THE DESTROYER!", But as the Capitol Police worked on and more joined the destruction, Fathers systems began to fail, his words were less thought through and more of them were random and sparodic...

"I AM THE NOBLE WORDS OF A TIME GONE, PERPLEXING IN DIMENSIONAL PORTALS OF INNUMBERABLE WORLDS FROM A TIME LONG FORGOTTEN...." His words stopped making sense and became jibberish...

"CANDLE LIT DINNER FOR TWO.... ORIONS BELT, EXTRAPLANER ACTIVITIES..."

Eventually, his vocal systems began to fail, changing his voice, gradually getting lower until it would have been inaudiable and eventually not working...

"I.... CANNOT...." He began to pause and stutter as the vocal pitch changes..

"I... I... I.... I am, Max Headroo.... Roo... Room.... Fear.... Me For... For... For... I am... A Celebrity.... P.P...P.. Pop Icon..." Then The most notable, he began to sing the song he was first programmed to sing when the scientists at the Manchillian Research Group were working on him....

"Daisy... Daisy... give me your answer do..... I'm hal.........." And with that...Father was gone, His Systems Terminated and no longer functioning...

But For that breif Second, The sytem sparked to life, and the words flashed across the screens for breif second before disappearing once again....

"SARDAUKAR COMMANDS: SYSTEMATIC EXTERMINATION OF ALL LIFE..... PROCEED..."

Helghan remered it all well.... It was etched into his mind, and now with it he had to start rebuilding the new Kraven, The Wehrmacht Kraven, the Kraven in his vision and not that of some machine...

Helghan turned back towards his throne, he would soon have to meet with the International Community, not with the strength and arrogance of the Old Kraven, but with a new vigour and something rather strange to him.... Honesty....

Still, this was a new Future... and to proceed.... Kraven must adapt...

"If your wondering, The statue depicts the final act of the destruction of Father... The Trooper is swinging the axe into the mainframe of Father..." The Oberst continued walking past the statue and up a flight of steps towards the lift, it had large silver doors, with a Black Eagle in the middle, like the great doors into the Citadel...

"Yes, The unveiling will be later today, I've however seen about Three or Four, From the begining as Slovenia, to Kraven, Then to the Supreme State... and Now... as The Kraven Wehrmacht... its truely a good time for us..." He Gestured to the now open lift door...

"We have quaters for you, while you stay... there is lots to show and we won't be able to show you it all in one day..." The Oberst paused pressing a button...

"Are there any questions you would like to ask?... its around a twenty minute journey to our floor...."

Then, he entered the elevator, taking his time to observe everything inside, from the lights on the roof, to the marble-like floor and the metal walls, it was nice.

The Hauptsturmfuhrer didn't speak, he sat down onto the fine leather car seats and took off his officers cap, flattening his hair down and then replacing it upon his head...

This was a Waffen KSP officer, he didn't care for the Diplomacy, he didn't need to, he was an officer, a Special breed as they liked to call themselves, because they belived themselves to be the real power in Kraven.

Each of them had large houses, with a good income and various other assets, each had their own offices and met up with other KSP Officers for various activities such as hunting wild Game that had been specially imported or fencing, some were interested in fine arts and would often go out on trips to the vaults beneath Kraven and look at some of the artwork that had been locked away in fear of spreading dissidence...

The Waffen KSP Officers did enjoy a very lavish lifestyle and one they had grown accustomed to...

The Advisor was impressed by the hospitality offered by the new Kraven Wehrmacht, knowing with grim certainty that some years earlier he would have most probably been shot dead by deceitful hosts. Although Agrandov and its empire had never suffered personally at the hands of the old Corporation, the news reels ran fresh in the minds of many. The National Centre of Intelligence had sensitive archives on the Kraven state that were growing by the day, though not at the speed seen during the peak of the Supreme State.

Very little had so far impressed him about the nation outside the car, however, as broken buildings clawed at a sky that seemed sorry to illuminate such a scene. In its prime, Kraven had been so much more, he mused, as the people scurried around on the streets outside. The Advisor cleared his mind of such thoughts, knowing that his role was to be a clean mediator between Helghan and the Emperor of Agrandov, distorting nothing between the two parties. He was almost pleased to have been assigned to the Kraven Wehrmacht diplomacy mission, as far too many of his colleagues were busy delivering Imperial ultimatums to tinpot dictatorships in holes half way around the world.

The IMTF troops jogging outside the staff car had so far kept prying civilians away, although most of the people were intently curious, as they must have only ever seen Kraven soldiers in years due to the onslaught of propaganda and the ever-presence of the Capitol Police. The Advisor checked his military-issue watch, confirming that it was still before midday. He had not been informed when a formal meeting would begin, although he assumed that the Kraven officers were more than competent enough to have the day organised. He knew that the helicopter and plane could be ready to go within only a few minutes notice, which didn't have to come from him given the communications link with the Agrandov capital.

As the car pulled up by the Black Citadel, the Advisor could hardly contain his awe at the size of the building. Flanked by the NCI and IMTF personnel, exited the vehicle and made his way to the front steps. The Advisor was awaiting further instructions, or a new representative entirely, in order to begin his visit in earnest.

Confirmation was sent as the chopper changed course, staying in between its escorts and eventually dropping away as it went into its landing procedure.

Throttle was reduced to three quarters and dropping slowly, the landing gear was lowered, and in a minute the S-76 had touched down on one of the helipads. The engines were powering down as a man in a trim business suit opened the door and climbed out, flanked by an advisor and a security agent.

Each had a light blue armband on their left arm depicting the UDD logo (OOC: Yet to be settled upon) and the aide held the diplomat's briefcase. All were wearing suits and none appeared to be armed, a closer search revealing that the only weapon was the regulation 9mm in the helicopter near the pilot's seat.
