Sayef Diplomatic Relations Building
South Amfi, Sayef
543 Amber Rise Ave.

A short, pale skinned receptionist greets you at a marble desk as you enter the Kingdom of Amfi’s embassy. The young man smiles at you, says hello, and hands you a sizable manila folder. You take a seat in a cushy leather bench on one the right side of the lobby. Before your begin reading, you take a brief glance at your surroundings. The lobby is no bigger than a large family room. Each wall is supported by three embedded marble beams. There are no windows in the room. Despite this, the lighting is ample. Two electric chandeliers hang from the gothic ceiling, which is about thirteen feet high. To the left of the receptionists desk is a large spruce double door, which leads into embassy’s heart. As you open the folder, you hear the receptionist call report your arrival over an intercom. His tone of voice is much more
business-like and mechanical than when he greeted you. You think nothing of it, and begin reading the cover sheet inside the folder.

“Welcome to the Kingdom of Amfi’s embassy! We hope that your visit will be productive for both the Kingdom, and your patron nation! Our people gladly except you into our homeland, and welcome any positive contributions to our great nation that your country wishes to make! Unfortunately the rigid tenants of our society can occasionally shock many of our visitors. It is supremely important that you not only respect the laws of our nation during this trip, but the sensibilities and privacy of the citizenry as well! Here are a few pointers for your visit;
• As you know, the caste system in our society is very strict. Don’t be surprised if you find Laborers or Artisans are disinclined to interact with you during your visit. In fact, it would be best if you only interacted with individuals of the Noble Courts.
• When interacting with members of the Noble Courts, keep in mind that there are many degrees of nobility. As such, members of lesser nobilities will great you differently than those of greater nobilities. A good rule is to return the precise gesture you are greeted with when socializing.
• The topic of slavery is inappropriate for casual conversation. If you wish to raise the topic of slavery in a formal discussion, please write a letter to Chief Diplomat Liska asking for a formal dialogue.
• Please bear in mind the spirituality of our citizens during your trip. The Citizens of Amfi take their beliefs extremely seriously. It would be bad form to discuss the merits of outside religions or atheism in public.
• The Kingdom of Amfi has great respect for the creative works of the world. However, in order to preserve the well being of our citizens, our nation has prohibited several publications and artistic works. If you are not knowledgeable about the precise list of prohibited material, please limit non-essential material for you trip!
• Under no circumstances should you argue with members of the police force! Our law enforcement officers are well trained military officers who take their work very seriously! If you are having problems with the police force, please cooperate at all times and contact this embassy as soon as possible.
Abiding these suggestions will make your visit here extremely streamlined and enjoyable. We look forward to the progress you and our diplomats will make together! The Kingdom of Amfi is always looking to strengthen its ties with its neighbors, friends, and allies! Enjoy your stay, and may the Heavens shine on you!”

At the bottom of the cover sheet is a small, controlled signature that reads Chief Diplomat; Mistress Liska Katha. You shift the cover sheet to the bottom of the papers in the folder. Underneath that is a small brochure highlighting various attractions and trivia concerning the Kingdom of Amfi. You notice Sayef University is on the brochure’s cover, pictured sometime in after noon, with the Roman style main hail centered in the photograph. You move the brochure to the bottom of the contents of the folder, and read a report on the Embassy itself.

The Embassy
The Diplomatic Relations Building is a four story building which houses several offices, including that of Chief Diplomat Liska. The building is sandwiched between a bank and a police station. A 12 foot metal gate partitions the buildings small lawn and the avenues sidewalk. There are roughly 200 employees in this 230,000 square foot building. Most of these employees are tasked with keeping track of Amfi’s abroad embassies. However, the Chief Diplomat has 12 subordinates under her command, who will see to you needs and requests. There are also 20 armed KAMP (Military Police) guards protecting the facility. The Embassy is serviced by a shuttle bus and two secure limousines, which can take you anywhere in the city of Sayef, or the country, if need be.
This facility offers several services to foreign diplomats such as yourself. Of course, you can meet with our personnel to discuss the relationship between your nation and ours – trade deals and establishing embassies are all on the table – however you can also use this building’s resources to enhance your experience in this country. You can schedule tours of points of interests or organize visits between our heads of state and yours! This building has an extensive library which you can access at any time with the permission of a ranking employee! The Diplomatic Relations Building will bring the Kingdom of Amfi to your finger tips!

Chief Diplomat
Name: Liska Katha
Strata: Nobel Court
House: Faticus Wethicus
Sex: Female
Age: 52
Height: 5’ 6”
Weight: 122 lbs
Hair Color: Black
Eye color: Brown
Personality: Liska is as by the numbers they come. Her loyalty in her kingdoms is unshakable. Liska follows the laws and procedures set down by the Kingdom in exacting detail. She drives her workers to the breaking point, demanding the finest quality in their work. Part of this personality is due to Liska's deep faith. Her religion values a strong work ethic and sacrifice for the greater good, and these are elements that Liska embodies. When it comes to diplomacy, Liska can be imposing and merciless. Despite her small stature, Liska’s indomitable confidence and unyielding style can intimidate all but the most seasoned of diplomats. However, this can be a problem in the world of diplomacy. Usually, Liska does not reveal this disposition. Instead, she exercises a curt, business like demeanor. It is only when she is pushed that she reveals her teeth.
