Colony XC-42

"Good evening, I am Abhir Sali reporting for the New Freedom News. Yes, the government took us offline last month, but they can't stop us broadcasting wherever we can.
Disturbing new evidence has surfaced that the quarantine of New Isthmus City is little more than an excuse for government forces to crackdown on political dissidents. This evidence includes photographs, sound recordings, and a video, which depicts exactly the same things that the XC-42 AI has previously cracked down on."
The screen cuts to an unedited, uncensored tape of the proclaimed footage, depicting a pile of smouldering corpses lying in the street next to a small group of black clad government soldiers and their APC, while smoke rises into the air and helicopters fly overhead. A young man is hauled from one of the nearby buildings by his hair, his nose shattered and bleeding profusely. He looks to be of Asian descent, and is wearing nothing more than his dressing gown.
A brief interrogation follows in the street, consisting of requests for his name, his job, and his Registration number. One of the group repeats the answers into his radio, and then nods at the officer holding the man by his hair.
The officer raises his pistol from the holster, presses it to the back of the man's head as he cries out incoherently and struggles, and fires, before throwing him onto the corpse mound. He turns back and heads back into the building, and after a few minutes, produces another man, again beaten and brutalized, stripped down to nothing but his underpants.
The process repeats itself as the voice over resumes.
'The government continues to deny any illegal activity in New Isthmus city, and instead assures us that they are actively working on lifting the quarantine after discovering the source of the supposed 'disease'. This disease is clearly that of free thought, and we beg any and all groups seeing this broadcast to send the civilians of New Isthmus aid!"
The image shifts back to the disguised face of the broadcaster, and a yell in a strange language can be heard as the door is kicked in, a gout of flame setting the man aflame, and knocking out the camera.
