OOC: This is the continuation of A Living Shadow thread. However, new participants are welcome as well.

IC Opener: It's been five years since the defeat of the Demon Lord 'Tommie'. The world has been in a relatively peaceful state since then, with the Mista maintaining peace in the underworld, and the Half-Dragon's land regaining their prey.

However, the forces that be in that which does not see Tommie's death as an opportunity. In Tokyo, Japan, another powerful lord is stirring. In fact, all over the world, more and more strange things are awakening. And the different shades of darkness prepare themselves for battle.

OOC: Ok, you know the deal. Using the template provided below make your character. There are superhero, -villians and antihero positions available. Heres the template and my char as a example.

Name/Alias: Cruoraduro (Orin)
Age: 19
Appearance(Picture if possible): A black outfit with a red hooded cloak and a scar across her throat.
Powers/Skills: Telekinesis , flight, transformation (this isn't voluntary, it happens when she reaches a state of anger or fear), expert swordsman.
History: Orin lived a quiet life in the wilderness in Scotland, before the forest began to be cleared. When a group of lumberjacks came across her in a clearing, they assumed she was a protester and hurled abuse at her. She snapped, and the only thing that remained of the workers afterwards was an echoing scream.

Running from the law searching the wood, she stumbled upon a forgotten burial ground from the dark ages. In the largest tomb, she found a suit of black armor, an odd maroon hat and a unique sword. The sword was said to have been left by a warrior after being executed for treason. The sword wasn't in it's stand, as it evidently should be, rather propped up against the wall. Hearing the police nearing, she picked up the sword but left the armor and odd hat. She has to keep his feelings in perfect balance or risk unleashing the monster inside her. However, when she reaches a state of fear, rather than anger, she changes into something else entirely.

OOC: Xiscapia, the identity of the hat's former owner may give you a hint into who the main badguy is. Also, I'm writing a more detailed bio for Orin, as I intend to use her a lot.

Powers/Skills: Can fly, move extramly fast and can get to most places if there is a fair bit of darkness. Very strong, mildy telekinetic, invulnerable to the attacks of normal weaponry and a limitless lifespan. Can change form but prefers the apearance above.
He is vulnerable to the attacks of silver and magicly charged weapons.
History:
Carnage is a fallen angel turned greater who participated in the Devils failed uprising against God and was outcast to hell along with Azaziel/ Saten/The devil where he was given his new title as Greater deamon of war and suffering.

He was belived to have been the Origional gate guadian of Heaven and was replaced by ST.Peter after his fall. He was closely linked with the greater deamon of temptation (Deciet) untill she was slain by a group of 'monster hunters' sent from the Vatican, for this reason he enjoys manipulating the world in religius wars as a sort of sick retribution.

He can take many forms but prefers his intimidating form described above as it is a sort of mockery of the angels of God.

He has twin longswords and in his human/Angel for he wears pure black armor (http://l2vault.ign.com/images/content/c2update/b-grade%20duals_samurai%20longsword%20dual.jpg) with a flowing black cape.
He also has a a composite longbow (http://www.classic-bow.com/catalog/images/traditional_bows_041.jpg) (made of pure black metal, as are his arrows and swords) that is reinforced to withstand his strength.
He especialy despises Mista for they seek to stop his web of war between the underworld and the humans.

History:
JM is one of the oldest Mista alive today in the world. Little is known about him apart from the fact that he is one of the eldest Mista and one of the most experienced. He is also French.

He's the Japanese Mista...and he's French. Right. I suppose it makes sense, because Katie it Irish and she's the English Mista, technically. I'll be posting a bio here shortly, as soon as I can think up a character.

hell iv done entire photoshop banners in my media lessons when im nt suposed to, however i need 2 work in IT, stupid teachers pregnant an we have 4 lessons to do over half of our final task in the coursework.

These are the only varietys of minion i will use if im allowed (by that i mean skeletons in the armor shown and the comanders). Powers/skills: Can change into demon form on command, possesses incredible fighting abilities in many areas including martial arts, bladed weapons and firearms. Is very fast and determined.
History: Seth's mother and father were killed in a grisly double murder by demons while they were living in New York state. He and his sister barely managed to escape, fleeing to the countryside. Being fifteen and thirteen, respectively, they set out across the state, going west. On their way they were intercepted by a mystic who knew the evil that sought them, as well as the reason. The old man took them both in and explained that Seth's sister, Nadoka, is an angel from Heaven trapped in a human body. She is not aware of this, but she is one of the greatest angels, that of the warrior angel of one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, though which one is yet unknown. The demons of Hell are attempting to kill her to halt the Doomsday they know is coming. Taking in this information, Seth knows he will be unable to protect his sister from the forces of Hell for long. The mystic offered him a choice: Taking ultimite power which he could grant to protect his sister. However, this comes at a terrible price: To mantain his powers, Seth would have to kill one human every month, or lose his powers forever. He accepts, and the two hike, hitch, buy and stow away across the United States to California, where they took a plane to Japan, hoping to hide from the evil pursuing them.

History: See Seth's History.
Nadoka is two years younger then her brother Seth. She is one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, apparently discarding the fact that the words are "horsemen." She is aware of this, and greatly frightened by it, the loss of her parents and teriffying lengths her brother goes to protect her only compounding her problems. Nadoka is innocent and naïve, without any fighting skill or special powers of her own to protect herself. She relies almost entirely on her big brother to help her. However, she is not entirely defenseless. Nadoka has, on occasion, shown remarkable foresight and intelligence in the demon attacks and fleeing across the US of A. She has learned how to accuratly shoot a pistol and stab with a dagger, but this is the extent of her abilities and she carries no weapons.

May hap if you wanted to have her be released from her human form and take on her angel aperance i would be able to help you. Perhapse my guy could confront her alone, after all deamons and agnels dont get on all that well do they.

Could be. When I wrote the bio it was from the perspective that you would at least be a major antagonist, if not the main antagonist, to Seth and Nadoka. I'm not too quick to reveal much about Nadoka, though, she won't be turning into some angel right off the bat. Rather most of the RPG will be her running and hiding. :P I do hope to get in some good battles.

Pretty much. We've got the good Mista, the evil demon monster, the demon brother attempting to protect an angel sister and a guy who kills everything around him if he gets angry but is not, apparently, actually evil. Oh, yeah, and a bunch of minor demons, civilians, local authorities and other Mista caught up along with it.

And I'm stuck in the middle?

That is an illusion. A hallucination is when you are suffering from it. Doing it to someone else is called an illusion.

Sorry for not being on yesterday. My internet cut off and only woke up this morning. It was weird...

Following the apparent obsoleteness of the Mista in a world of godly and ungodly creatures, I have decided to add a new character so that I can interact with people on a more level footing:

History:
Julia was amongst the first Angels created in Heaven by the lord himself. However, she was also in the middle of the argument between the Archangel Michael and Lucifer, ultimately siding with Michael. She fought as his Lieutenant during the following War of the Angels (http://reluctant-messenger.com/rebellion.htm). She fought in the final great battle at the Gates of Heaven that finally condemned Satan to Hell. Now she help the Mista maintain the peace on the commands of the Archangels Michael and Gabriel.

Varies. The Metal Man is a cyborg. He wears bodies as if they were clothing, calling them “suits.”
He has many suits, but three are commonly used:

Powers vary with the suit he’s wearing. All suits have in common levitation, shielding, plasma weapons, invisibility cloaking, super strength, super sensory capabilities and an emergency distress signal. Without a suit, he has none of these powers. The only power that is natural to him is that he diminishes all supernatural powers within a 50-foot radius, with diminution increasing as the supernatural being or object gets closer to him. He is also a limited immortal—will not die of natural causes, but can be killed through violent means. His blood has healing properties, but also causes temporary insanity, when injected into a human body. Because of this, unethical pseudogovernmental types often attempt to track him, looking to kidnap and study him.

History:

Alex was a normal guy, once. 24, with a budding career, beautiful girlfriend, plentiful friends... life was good.

Right up until he slammed into the back of a military truck carrying an experimental form of Napalm. And he was smoking at the time.

One massive fireball and resultant firestorm later, Alex was alive within the burning shell of a car, his girlfriend vaporized right next to him... and he felt nothing. Worse, he felt like he was not only on fire on the surface, but inside, as well. He fled the scene, leaving only an agonized scream of despair at his loss.

Several months later, Alex re-emerged. He appeared to be a normal guy... apart from, of course, the flames that still burn on him. His burning, consuming fury was going to be unleashed... and he didn't care who felt it.

A power that summons the Holy Shield of the Seraphim that will protect some attacks.

Winter Sanctum
Summons a Blizzard that'll freeze one foe.


History: When she was 18, her Mother and Father was assassinated from her home town, Void Tenoke. She was chosen as the empress as Void Tenoke, but Tenoke was later Nuked. Voi's hidden colors were shown as she grew large wings and destroyed the threat. Of course, Tenoke was still destroyed the impact of the power Voi had created. The left-over citizens and neighboring citizens helped to re-build Tenoke into Void Temple. Voi now wonders the Earth searching for her assassins
