Today, the Principality of North Point, in conjunction with Sun International Naval Systems and MacMillan Heavy Industries, announced the unveiling of the Houston-class missile ship.

In terms of firepower to displacement, the Houston-class is one of the most potent missile ships currently in production. The Houston's strength lies in its versatility; it is able to ship a variety of advanced naval weapon systems. MacMillan's shipyards will outfit customized versions, at an additional cost.

The Houston-class is currently built in two versions. The standard Houston is a dedicated missile ship. Houston Mod. 2 is a scout ship outfitted with the MQ-8B Fire Scout helicopter and facilities to house it. Due to the costs of acquiring production rights for the Fire Scout, the MSRP of the Mod. 2 version is slightly increased.

Equip your nation with one of the world's finest missile crafts at an optimal price; make the right choice today.

POLICY:
1. Clients are to perform the calculations to purchase a ship. Shortchange me and I will not sell to you.
2. DPRs not available.

What is the opinion of North Point to selling to Private Businesses? We need security in the seas around our launch facility.

The Armed Republic of Catawaba
An Official Communication from the Secretary for War, General Tom Waverly
An Inquiry to SUN International Naval Systems About the Houston-class missile ship

To whom it may concern, Sir or Madam,

As the Catawaban Secretary for War, it is placed upon me to consider candidates to meet the requirements of our current naval expansion. We currently utilize a version of the Cyclone-class patrol ship for littoral patrol duties but are looking for a more capable and versatile ship for the expansion in that combat role.

The Houston-class shows promise, but we have to wonder why is the Phalanx CWIS installed rather than the more capable Goalkeeper?

From the heart,
Gen. Tom Waverly

re: Houston-class Armaments Decisions

Dear Sir,

Raytheon Technologies' PHALANX 20mm CIWS requires no deck penetration, while GOALKEEPER's radar systems etc. require up to six meters of downward penetration. Phalanx can simply be bolted on and plugged into the ship's computer array, making it ideal for this type of surface combatant.

For an additional $100 million USD, MacMillan HI can replace either 76mm Melara turret with the Goalkeeper system.
