Ah, the joys of nanotechnology. Marshal Rakhamov massaged the scar over his right eye socket as the beep finally went off. After losing his right eye in the Battle of Niflheim, Dersconi medical and military scientists and medics immediately patched him up with a prototype nanotech eye and a chip in his brain to augment the already-present Shock Trooper neuro-computer workings. Using the advanced nanotechnology, Karaka can take a quick look at a person and analyse heart rate, breathing rhythms, and locate implants within a few seconds. It also allowed him a direct uplink to the Dersconi Battlenet, granting him access to all the data and communications channels that went with it.

Of course, this significantly reduced his life expectancy, as well as his ability to think rationally, but that couldn't be helped.

Karaka would be in direct link with Xavier the entire time, so it wasn't necessary to send any other delegates on behalf of Prussia as a whole, or Derscon. And guards would only get in the way -- Karaka had on his battle dress armour. He couldn't look directly at himself because of it, though. The metallic, jet black armour reflected the light from the bright lights a little too well. It wasn't so bad from the back, the black and crimson cape blocking the armour from sight. Unfortunately, while the helmet was the same colour as the cape, it had the same metallic finish as the regular armour. The crest plume was positioned right on top of the helmet without a gap, and made of horses hair, dyed black and crimson, and worn longitudinally, so that it touched the cape when he leaned his head back.

That, coupled with the glowing redness of his nanobot eye, and the scar, and finished off with the Tear of Cerberus, a sword forged from the fires of hell, made Karaka a sight to behold.

On the table sat the two gifts for Chancellor General Ernesto Paz. One package consisted of two bottles of alcohol, both from the Kremlin Vaults -- a bottle of L'Empereur Reserve Cognac, and a bottle of YTM Dersconi Premier Vodka. The other package contained a Blazer Sword, forged from the mystic stone found on Heaven's Mountain, deep in the Tundra, laden with various jewels and inscriptions in a language long dead. As with all swords, it was tested to a level of perfection that the Japanese master craftsmen could only begin to dream of. the sword was a symbol of honour in Derscon, and highly revered. It was a common gift for new-found, long-lasting friendships.

After taking a swig from his own personal hidden flask, Karaka grabbed the packages, attached his own sword, and made his way to the conference room. He regretted having to leave his two Grand Armies and two Grand Fleets in the Prussian islands in Haven, but that couldn't be helped.

It had been years since Admiral Mark Howitzer had actually seen the Infamous Ernie. the last time must have been when he was only ten, attending a meeting with his father, who was meeting with Ernie to discuss matters of great concequence. Ironic how their latest meeting was taking place under the same circumstances.

"Good Evening, Sir." Adm. Mark Howitzer said as he walked through the Office doors of 'The Infamous Ernie'. He held a brisk pace until coming to a rest in a rather large chair in front of the Chancellor.

"It's been quite a while, Comrade" Mark said with a wry smile. "Now that everything inside the bubble has been taken care of, I suppose its time to talk some business."

General Vorder led the way into the conference room, followed by his two escorts. The hulking Major took a seat beside him, while the Staff Sergeant stood behind them.

One thing the Marshal would notice about her is that she was a walking war machine, with several implants on her spinal cord, her heart and behind the eyes, metal grafted onto her bones and a heart rate that was 2% slower than an average human. The General was devoid of implants, but was nearly as relaxed as the Sergeant, while the Major had one implant at the base of his skull and seemed uneasy.

The general leaned back and spoke softly in a language that was a mix of Russian, German and several other European languages. ""Sergeant, your analysis of our safety?""

The Sergeant took a moment, then spoke back in the same language. ""Within acceptable levels. I'd feel better if there were two more Commandos assigned to you.""

""I think you and the Major will do just fine, Porter. We are among friends...""

The major snorted. ""Friends we have not spoken to since the GDODAD,"" the acronym spoken in English, ""dissolved and the Empire cut all ties to it. Save for Sigma... but that alliance dates back even further, to the Knights of Midnight.""

The general waved a hand dismissively. ""They want support... they won't harm us. Why should they? We were the GDODAD's attack dog. You don't mistreat a pitbull if you want it on your side.""

The words seemed to annoy the Major more than calm him, but he wisely didn't continue on and risk antagonizing his superior.

Desolate. If one word can describe the once great and formidable nation that stood strong in its corner of the world it would be desolate…..a desolate wasteland.

Sitting behind a large working desk, Der Fuhrer Dyszel hunched over a scattered disarray of papers and maps. Scrawling with a black pen, she worked diligently as she held a red pen in her mouth, biting it as one would bite their lip in a nervous reaction.

The animated voice of a computer spoke, "Interception of interest: Reformation of GDODAD."

"Transfer relays," Der Fuhrer Dyszel spoke without looking up from her work, focused on details of a particular interest that she was writing on a stack blank papers. A large black screen mounted on the wall before her flashed to life as relays between nations flooded the monitor on one half while people's faces flashed to life on another half as they broadcasted this latest event worldwide.

Pushing back from the desk, she stood up and clutched the side of the desk for support as she walked over to the monitor. Her dark brown eyes caught the words with interest as she quickly read over them, indeed confirming that GDODAD was reforming.

Twisting her head back, she ungracefully spit out the red pen she held in her mouth. The pen clattered on the desk and rolled to a stop against a rather voluminous book that looked as if it had been thoroughly read and reread. "Load the coordinates of the meeting and prepare a flight to leave in two hours," her authoritative commands echoed off the walls of the silent base.

Turning her back to the screen still sprawling information across it, she looked down at her work and contemplated for a moment whether or not she should leave such important business unfinished. Making up her mind, she scooped up the papers and stacked them neatly into a pile which she hastily stuffed into a folder. She tossed her pens into the folder as she rounded the desk to her customized sniper rifle resting peacefully against her chair. She reached out and touched the barrel, the cold metal familiar to her skin....she wanted so much to bring her precious rifle with her, unwilling to part with it after all they had been through. Knowing that she would not be able to keep it with her at the conference, she placed the rifle on her work desk as she let out a deep breath and snatched up the folder and book.

Preparing her items for departure, she packed only a few extra outfits, the black pair of reflective shades she confiscated from a Reich Freedom Fighter, her folder, the large book, and a bag of portable equipment. Glancing back to her work room and the rifle she was leaving behind, she walked toward the indoor port….her footsteps the only sound resonating in the silent depths of her base.

As anticipated, her flight was ready to go and she crawled behind the pilot's seat. She maneuvered Dante's small speedy plane that was conveniently left behind in Stadt des Meeres when he had disappeared for a final time. The exterior doors opened, revealing the darkness of the brutal Dictatorship night…she could almost feel the cold instantly penetrate into the planes interior. Taking off, she immersed herself almost immediately in this darkness, only looking back to assure that her base was closed behind her. Looking forward again, she stared at her own reflection; her dark brown eyes staring intently back while her long brunette hair was pulled back tightly to reduce interference. She looked about mid-thirties to forty, but her eyes betrayed a suffering that spoke of experience well beyond her appearance.

After several hours of flying, she landed at an almost vacant airport and decided to walk the distance to the meeting area. Connecting herself to an earpiece that appeared to be a transmission device, she walked for a few hours before finally coming to the coordinates that she originally received. Waiting for instructions from there, she sat silently and enjoyed the weather, hoping that someone would soon escort her to the conference.

OOC:

GDODAD WAKE UP! Are we going to do this or not? Don't let this die in the makings like all other attempts. Let's restart this and show NS what we have or we no longer attempt to shame the name GDODAD....because all these futile attempts to reorganize and reassert ourselves in NS is really ruining any reputation we hope to acheive.

As for the GDODAD's rep? You are joking, right? It's the GDODA-F'N-D. I doubt the rep can get more tarnished.

OOC: Sorry guys.. RL came like a storm and it's not going to let up for at least a few more weeks. Beginning of April is my goal.. but might be a week or two into that month. Please do carry on with this summit until I can be active again. You all can TG me or AIM/MSN me if you need me for something.

I suggest having a vote (irony? lol) as to who will lead the GDODAD regarding formation of charter, direction, activities, membership, etc.

[OOC: I'm honestly smiling from ear to ear right now...you really have no idea. GDODAD haha. I love it. I'm really trying to get back into NationStates again (it's been almost exactly a year) and have some great ideas for my Shadows of Orion story, but as for this thread, or subject for that matter, would a Steel Butterfly/Orion Empire delegate be welcome at all? I pretty much was the reason GDODAD died in the first place. I'd love to be a part of this, and new regimes have come and gone since my GDODAD days so it could fit, but I just want to know if you guys think it would make since IC-wise. Oh, and Crimm, AMF, Trousrs, good to see you're still going strong.]

Karaka glanced over and saw that General Paz had fallen asleep at his desk. Xavier saw too. Fuck this, I'll take over.

Karaka glowed white for a brief second, and a flash enveloped the room. When sight was regained, Tsar Xavier was standing in his place. Oh, I love being a god. OOC: LOL PLOT HOLE He went over, sat on the desk, and scanned the room.

"Welcome to GDODAD, Take three. Please have your tray tables up and your seats back in the full upright position. For those of you who don't know me, I am Tsar Xavier, Emperor of Greater Prussia and Autocrat of all Derscon and its holdings. I suspect we'll be getting a few more people coming in soon, but I don't particularly feel like waiting.

"The world in which we now live in is remarkably turbulent and troublesome. Unfortunately, the lines between Us and Them are now blurred, and more than just METUS and ToY exist.

"We are gathered here today to discuss what the hell we're going to be doing. I just got here, and I've never teleported under water before, so I have a bit of jet lag. The floor is open."

General Vorder arched a single eyebrow as this... person... took charge of things. "Wonderful. Not ten minutes into this and already the parlor tricks begin. What's next? Are you going to pull an elf out of a hat?" Apparently he was not impressed. That or he was annoyed at the slow start of things.

He sighed heavily. "I am General Rayden Vorder, commanding officer of the Imperial Special Task Force and the voice of the Imperial Brotherhood of Crimmond at these proceedings. I suspect that more Gholgoth powers will be arriving soon. Most likely former GDODAD members. I cannot speak for them, but the Empire has grown very tired of seeing a legacy that we helped create be dragged up from it's grave and pulled through the mud for a few months, then tossed aside." He stood very slowly. "There is no polite way to say this. General Pace has ordered me to inform the new leaders of the Underwater Bubble that if they start the GDODAD up again, it must become an alliance permanently. If it is allowed to die again, he will personally see to it that it can never be raised again. How he intends to do this, he did not see fit to inform me... And with several years working with him, I can say with confidence that can only mean some sort massively destructive show of force."

Vorder took his seat again, slowly. "Now... just what are your intentions?"
