Due to the dwindling crop diversity in Turka-Sir, and evidently throughout the globe due to climate change and conflicts, an enviornmental group has proposed that the seeds of every available plant be frozen and placed in a single area where, when the times comes, they can be defrosted and planted to keep the crop diversity open. Such an idea could be met with criticism because of the question of who would hold control over the hibernating seeds once they are safely frozen.

"Our crops are in danger of dissapearing. Maybe not in the next century, but by our estimates" says lead scientist Proffesor Von Levenstein "The crop yield will be so low that there simply won't be enough to feed the world. Even if we stablize the world's population, an idea I'm sure which will be met with a large outcry, there simply won't be enough food to give out when the time comes. Evolviong pests and diseases, population booms, changing climates, and more! All of these factors will wipe out the crops we so desperately need to feed our citizens."

Locations are being scouted for this Doomsday Food Vault. Both poles look promising locations to store the world's crop seeds, but there is still the matter of cooperation from the other countries, as well as the question of ownership over the vault...
