Kvarst Delegation To Phanar

I am Mariane Klastern an ambassador to the Grand Duchy Of Phanar
I am here to estblisha better political relationship between Kvarst and Phanar
The trade of durable winter crops is our main issue as we are facing a food crisis as those few plants we have that can survive the harsh winter of our Nation have failed and emergency food supplies from bountifull years are called upon, With the threat of Climate change we are now worried that a more unstable climate may not lead to the melting of our year long carpet of snow but to make the winters worse. They have been becoming progressively worse over the past years and each winter breaks the record set by the last. before long our time as a nomadic peoples may come to an end and we may have to settle into permanent towns and citiesto survive.

Citizens in the city of Redwall turned on their televisions to see that a foreign diplomat, Mariane Klastern, was paying a visit to the Grand Duchy on behalf of the nation of Kvarst; which was asking Phanar for assistance in terms of food production. When Mariane arrived, she was greeted by an honor guard, a music band playing the anthem of Kvarst and her own personal chauffer. The motorcade took her into the city; where she could see citizens either devoting time to their personal routines or curiously watching the motorcade in silence or quiet whispering. Mariane could see what life was like in the city; with all its fashion magazines, advertisements and movie posters; it was truly spectacular to behold. After several minutes, the motorcade arrived at the massive headquarters of the Foreign Ministry; and Miss Klastern was escorted out of the limosuine and into the building; the employees inside were curiously staring at her. After several minutes of navigating a way through the maze of the Foreign Ministry, Miss Klastern was brought to the office of Siegfried von Kreuzberg; the Foreign Minister.
Sitting at his desk; dressed in an expensive suit and his hands flipping through a magazine, Siegfried von Kreuzberg was a handsome middle aged man who seemed to study Mariane; as if looking her over when he lifted his eyes from the magazine. "Miss Klastern, it is a pleasure to see you. Please take your seat."
After a few seconds, Siegfried smiled. "You must be here to discuss the food shortages in Kvarst, correct? I believe that it is possible to spare you some food from our own supplies; though I wish to know what will Kvarst give us in return. We do know of the plight of your people; and it is a saddening sight. Tell me, what does Kvarst desire from Phanar? I am assuming it is just food, correct?"
Yes, the northern most borders are experiencing the most treachorous weather for over 300 years, Most of the people have started moving south although now they have taken up residence in our only fixed towns.
We are now experiencing food shortages in these citys and with most food coming from the forests of the north we cannot risk the lives of our people to collect the food. many of our main plants that provide seeds and fruits have died and many animals are not surviving the harsh conditions.
We have a lot of technology that we need to keep ourselves safe and we are willing to trade some of our technology and ideas with you to create a working partnership.
"Can you tell me more about the technology and ideas that you can offer the Grand Duchy, Miss Klastern? I believe that the Grand Duchy can assist your people but I am interested in learning what the Grand Duchy can recieve in return for our assistance."
The way we see global warming in Kvarst is as a dangerous issue, with a lot of our country covvered in snow we will expereince extreme floods if the earth were to heat up, therefore our cars have the lowest gas emmissions in Northern Hemisphere maybe even the world, we are trying hard to manipulate the weather but at the moment the concequences are not known so we are leaving that to nothing more than theory, But by giving your nation blueprints to technologies in return for Humanitarian aid, my govenrment beleives that we can make an effective partnership and try to reduce the effects our nations have on global warming
"I suppose we could strike a deal; blueprints for humanitarian aid. Our nation has been looking into responsible environmentalist practices for a while now; since the recent ascension of our new government to power. Can you tell me more about these blueprints? I am interested in learning more about them; are they of energy efficient cars? Factories?"
They are mainly inventions that can be built into cars and Homes to reduce all emisions, but with our citizens being so widespread and in non-permanent citites these devices can't be put to use so we have decided to trade them for the aid of foreign countries.
"I do not see why nomads would develop such technology; but I believe if you give them to us, we can give you some durable winter crops that should prove to be fruitful in the end."
