Hey guys, I understand there was some friction with my last RP idea, so can someone please help me out with how to create a good, realistic racial holy war that doesn't offend people, even though it's purely IC?
I would like all races represented, such as whites, yellows, blacks, browns etc.

haha I loved the last RaHoWa idea. But I highly doubt that you could make it realistic, somebody is gonna whine about the idea. If I remember correctly you said the Whites were the main characters and referred them as the "good guys", so that wouldn't work in these threads.

I could suggest, however, maybe not a full out RaHoWa, but one in the US caused by mass illegal immigration creating tension between whites and latinos. Then you could have a group such as the Black Panthers allign themselves with the immigrants and gain popular support from the blacks. Have the tension escalate into racial attacks, and eventually have it evolve into a civil war, which creates a heated racial realm and people are forced to choose sides.

I doubt that would work either, but it might be worth a shot.

or, alternatively (but escaping from the realistic feel), you could create fictional races, write a brief description of each, and have players rp from there. That would probably work, but not as cool as the RaHoWa idea

Well, as long as you don't imply that the whites are the good guys - simply have a group of paranoid white supremacists, Nation of Islam blacks, Brown Beret Hispanic supremacists, Kahane Chai Jewish loonies, etc. fighting each other - portray them all as equally evil and having to deal with the non-racists in their own races as well - you might have some luck.

Or rather than all evil, you can make them all secular and pursuing their own alterior motives - that makes them individualist. Have them less interested in racial purging and more interested in something else - and have it from there devolve into a racial war. That'd spare some touchy feelings with some members around this board, while still moving your own RP ideas forward.
