An Unforgiveable Act (OOC/Planning)

Tokyoni

Alright, well, the thing is, I always intended Tokyoni to be a relatively rouge nation. It consists after all of an essential dictator who siezed power in Japan though technically through democratic means, under very sketchy circumstances. A year or so into his reign, wielding the powerful artifact of the Death Note, he caused Kim Jung-il, the former leader of the neighboring nation of North Korea to cede all power to him and commit suicide. Through a series of progressive policies in the annexed territory of North Korea, the Koreans under Tokyoni's control are known for being fiercely loyal to the new regime in a manner that exceeds even their former devotion to Kim Il-Sung and Kim Jung-il.

Essentially, however, the scenario I've presented is this: The regime change in the North has done little to nothing to change attitudes between the North and South Koreas. If anything, diplomacy has become even more strained between the two nations. For over a year, the Governor of The Korean Peninsula - as his title is within the Tokyoni government - has given his people passionate speeches about annexing the South and thus reuniting their people. So far all that's been given has been rhetoric, though North Korea's military and nuclear arsenals have been greatly improved.

An event, however, occured which would cause a greater deal of strain between the two halves of Korea. A rouge group of "freedom fighters", escaped from the North of Korea had approached the DMZ and opened fire on North Korean soldiers posted at the border. The Tokyoni Government demanded to the government of South Korea that those responsible with the group they deemed a terrorist organization be handed over to them immediately. If the South delays too much, it may be just the excuse that Tokyoni needs to "reunify" the Korean Peninsula.

So, essentially, would anyone at all be interested in starting this roleplay with me / participating within? I'm trying to gauge first if there's any interest first before I set it up.
