It is 1710, Europe has been involved in a long bloody war.
Peace has finally been achieved, mainly due to the economic exhaustion of all participants.
Now begins a period of recovery, exploration and colonisation. Of course many of the issues that caused the last war still exist, despite peace treaties there are still grievences to be aired. Wars are being fought, particularly since Austria has declared war on Venice, this again threatens to draw Europe into another round of war.
Couple that with the balancing act between the desperate need for economic recovery and prestige through colonies and the need for Empires and Royal Prestige the period is rife with the possibilities of war.
This is a alternative History RP, this means we stick to the "feel of the period" while having the ability to explore "other historic options through RP.
