OOC: Emerald Springs returns to the forums as part of (and controlled by the player who plays as) Neo-Ixania; after a lengthy period of discussion with its owner. As Kirav and Nova Pictavia hath done, Emerald Springs shall be unified with Neo-Ixania but still retain some level of independence. Yes, I know of the population difference and all marriages, etc done in the past by Emerald Springs with other nations will continue. This is simply a new chapter in its history.

Crystal City was the capital of the Kingdom of Emerald Springs; a nation that had seemed to disappear off the face of the Earth and into the pit of obscurity. For years, it had been in isolation; its people not knowing much about the events of the outside world. However, it would all change. The Royal Government, supported by a majority of politicians, approached the Empire of Neo-Ixania; a nation that had been trying to gain friends all around the world, with an offer. This offer, kept secret from the public, would allow for Ixania to annex Emerald Springs or make it a colony. Ixania, surprised and amazed, decided to make it into a colony that would be independent in defense and foreign policy; it just had to stay very close to Ixania was all.
Robert Ludokai, King of Emerald Springs, walks to a podium at a news conference; surrounded by a swarm of reporters who are constantly shouting questions at him. He sighs and calms them down before speaking in a solemn tone. "After consideration, we have decided to unify ourselves with the Ixanians. We are not becoming a distant province of the Ixanians. I can assure you that we are still independent but we will, from now on, be friends of the Ixanian Empire and work alongside them as allies."
Allena Ludokai looks at her husband; standing behind him at the news conference. She did not expect to see this happen but was happy, at least, that the nation she loved and lived in would not become a mere province of Ixania; she knew that the Empress of Ixania had seen to that very clearly. Her children watch as their father walks towards them silently, looking calm and collected as they walk together to the Royal Motorcade.
In Ixania, Empress Anastasia II's government speaks to the people about the events in Emerald Springs and says that they are not warmongering expansionists but rather friends of Emerald Springs; ready to begin a new era in the collective history of both realms. As they spoke, the deal was being finalized and the Ixanian flag rose over all government buildings in Emerald Springs. It had been finished. A letter reaches the world's leaders; especially those nations who had relations with Emerald Springs. It comes as an E-Mail and written letter.
"The nation of Emerald Springs has hereby become part of the Ixanian sphere of influence. We are still able to honor the embassies, trade agreements and other agreements we made prior to today's events. If you wish to reaffirm those agreements or if you want to create agreements with Emerald Springs, please do not hesistate to contact us."
