Somewhere of the Coast of (Unknown Nation)
The weather was getting rough as the large Beatusian freighter continued on its course toward its next port. It was the Morning Star, (Picture Below), and was carrying a lode of Paper. A large storm was approaching, and the waves were begining to break over the deck. Shortly after that, the bow of the ship, began riding lower in the water. The bow of the ship continued to sink lower into the water with each wave that crashed over the deck. Capitan Jon P. Ferguson ordered a message to be sent out. The ship transmitted this message,
SOS, URGENT WARNING, SS MORNING STAR, AT COORDINATES (insert coordinates here), IS TAKING ON WATER AND REQUESTS IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE, SOS
The message continued on a loop on all emergency frequencies.

The S.S. Sea Breeze was a passanger vessel that sailed through the world and Xandou. The Captain Yuuki Arie was no stranger to big storms at sea. She as good at sailing through them. Then she couldn't belive her eyes a ship in distress. "Full to right." She turned the wheel and began moving towards the ship. "Send light signal codes, tell them help is on the way."
"Yes captain" Her first mate said bundling up her raincoat and preparing to go out on deck.

On Board the S.S. MORNING STAR
"Sir," shouted on of the crew. "There is a ship approaching. It appears to be a passenger ship."
"Where?" the Captain asked as he walked over to where the crew member was standing.
"There," said the crew member, pointing out the S.S. Sea Breeze.
"Give me those," said the captain, snatching the binoculars out of the crew members hands. "Your right," the captain said. "Wait, it's singling us," the captain continued as he watched the Morse code flashed out by the incoming ship, "They're coming to help us." At that point a huge wave hit the ship, causing it to pitch toward port, and knocking the captain of balance. Before the captain was able to get up, a second huge wave hit. The windows on the bridge buckled, and water momentarily poured into the bridge. One of the officers was screaming, the captain rushed over to find him with glass shards embedded in his face, and chest. "Get the doctor up here now, a said the captain. Rain was now pouring into the bridge, as was the wind which was blowing papers all over the room.
"That doesn't look good. They just got slammed hard by those last waves."
"You think this a hurricane?"
"I don't know, but if this keeps up much longer we are going to need rescue too. ETA?"
"10 more minutes till we reach that ship."

On Board the S.S. MORNING STAR
The Doctor was quickly fetched, and when he arrived on the bridge, he was surprised. He rushed over to the officer, and knelt down to examine him, just as another wave crashed against the ship, again sending seawater into the bridge. After the doctor had recovered from the rush of water, he said, "We've got to get him out of here, so I can properly examine him, someone help me move him over into the captains quarters, where we can put him in the bed and I can take a proper look at him, without getting drenched with sea water every two seconds." As they left the bridge, the captain ordered the ships engines shutdown, so that the ship approaching them could catch up to them faster.
"Come on come on just a little more." The ship was at it's limits with wind and steam power combined. Passengers were mostly unaware they were going to the rescue but they were all very aware of the raging storm outside.
"We are just about there madam!"
"Tell the crew to man the ropes and throw the anchor down, I don't want to be moving around much!"
"Yes Captain. Yoriko, have the docking planks set out, okay?"
"Yes Captain!" She ran off to inform the crew members. They were now on top of them crews manning the lights shined upon them. This was dangerous a boat on boat rescue. They risked ramming each other and poking holes into each other.

"Sir, that other ship is getting awfully close to us," a crew man yelled from the bridge. The captain was in his quarters watching the doctor look the injured officer over. He came out to the bridge, and look out what had been the windows, to see the other ship extremely close to them, "Are they crazy, they'll bring us both down the captain said, as walked over to the PA system. "Attention All Hands, Attention All Hands, this is your captain speaking, prepare to disembark, repeat, prepare to disembark!"
"Okay Yoriko, we are on top of them now."
"DROP THE ANCHOR!" She shouted to her fellow crew members. The anchor was dropped way and the men began to take the time to raise it.
"Deploy the planks!"
They threw rope to the other deck and put down the planks. It was hard to keep them steady because of the waves and rocking. "Hold steady!"

The Hospital ship....the U.S.Z Brittania, was arriving back to Zoingo from the colony of New Providence after a country in the area recently declared independence.
"Captain, we are approaching Dorlinger Point, these waters are rough around this island chain....with all these Low Pressure storms" an officer pointed out.
"How far from here is Port Royal?" the captain asked.
"About a few hundred kilometers to the south." he replied. Then, the radio opperater came in...
"Message from a surrounding cargo transport....its nationality is from The Beatus! Its an SOS...from The Morning Star" the operator explained
"Full Speed, send another message back...we may not be the first to the scene, but we do know how to navigate these waters.." the capitan replied.
Morning Star we have lock on you coordinates STOP Stay were you are STOP Dangerous waters surround you as well as any ships in the area STOP Can help navigate through this area STOP On our way name is USZ Brittania hospital ship STOP 20 Miles from you position and empty vessel with room for people STOP.

On board the S.S. Soviet Pride
"If you look on the right, you will see a ship getting pounded by waves." THe tourist guide said. She was slightly mentally disabled.
"Oh. My. God." A passenger said.
"We have to help them!" A man yelled.
"We can't, those waves will tear our ship to pieces." Said a man.
"We'll send a message to the nearby Aissuran Rescue Ship." They sent a flash radio signal with the coordinates of the ship. The ship was heading straight to the storm. A wave splashed over the side of the ship.
"Please, everyone inside." The Captain said, he didn't want the tourists to panic. The tourist ship was heading towards The Beatus. Tourist traffic had increased in the last year. Since then Soviet Aissur had made a new part of their Navy in case these things happened.
"Roger that Tourist Ship, we are En-route, eta ten minutes." The Radio man said on the S.S. Rescue.
"They will probably be sank by then..." The Captain said.

The captain watched as they put down planks, and made the order for all of his men to abandon ship, before returning to his quarters where the doctor, and other officers were. The doctor didn't look happy. "How is he, doc?" the Captain asked.
"In any other situation, we shouldn't have moved him," the doctor said. "But if we had left him there, it could have been worse. We definately can't move him again until I can get him stable. This would be much easier if I had more medical supplies, and some help."
"Jones," the captain pointed to one of the other officers, "You go down, and make sure everyone gets off okay, and ask those guys on the other ship, if they got a doctor, or medical supplies. Tell them we got a real hurt man up here, and we can't move him." The man left the room, and headed down to the deck.
The crew members of the Sea Breeze were urging the crew members of the Morning Star aboard. Some were nearly falling into the raging seas. "These planks aren't going to hold for very long!" Yoriko shouted. "We may have to get them to climb over if they give way!" Said the sail manger. He knew how to take ropes down and fast and tie them fast.
USZ Brittania
"Steady men!" the Captian ordered, "We don't want to strike these waves head on, but at an angle...are we at full speed?"
"Yes sir!"
"Good, now we are about 5 miles away, so we should be seeing their lights...and their they are way off in the distance..." he continued.
"Sir...weather reports...!" a sailor delivered to him.
"My word...this is a category 3 hurricane...surge...surge...oh my..that is big!" he said in shock.
"Orders?" he asked.
"Yes, I want all lights on this ship turned on....every porthole to be lit, I want all of the floodlights to be swirling in the air...anything to attract their attention!"
---------minutes later----------
"Would you like to flip the switch officer?" the capitan asked as they linked every electrical wire though it.
"Would I?!?!" he asked in delight, and fliped it.
The ship suddenly blazed in light, everything on the ship was lit, and the high powered floodlights were blazing and swiviling in the air...even the neon sign that read "USZ Brittania" was ablaze, from a distance of about 3 miles to the 2 ships apparently near each other, the Brittania was a sight to behold.

The officer rushed across the planks, and up to the first officer from the other ship he reached. "We have an injured officer, and need a doctor, and medical supplies ASAP," he said.
Moments later, the crew was blinded by a sudden flood of light from something off in the distance, the light was so bright that they couldn't see what the source was. Many thought it was the Great Bob, come to take them on to the next life.
The Brittania moved closer, dimming its lights just a bit so people could realize that God was not here to save them....
"Hospital Bay, down the deck take him and GO!" Yorkio pointed them off. She needed to stay and supervise the rescue. Then the horizon lit up. Was the storm clearing? No it was still to rough and it was still to early for dawn. It was a ship. "What the?"

F.W.S. Doom's Day
The massive, black submarine slid it's way through the waters. Since it was a submarine, the main things the crew had to worry about were debris, sandbars, and rocks, most of which could be navigated around by Sonar. Despite the crew having less worries, it was still hard to keep things comfortable. Objects were sliding off of shelves, drawers were falling out, and men had no way to fall asleep without rolling off of their bunks.
The reason for the ship's presence was a navigational training mission. They were returning to the Tungsten GWO Province. That being said, the only nuclear thing on board was the reactor.
The ship's communications center caught a message, urging for help. "Sir, we've got to help them, if we've got a shred of dignity in us," said the Morale Officer. "We're on a ship called DOOM'S DAY, I don't think we need to worry about Dignity!" replied the Captain, who blatantly had a few gray hairs coming out of his black hair. "Besides, they've probably got ten ships already rushing to help them. What's a nuclear submarine going to do other than clog up the area?"
The radar station showed each ship in the area rushing to help the sinking vessel.
"Sir, what if those people get sunk too?"
"Their loss!"
"There could be a promotion or commendation in it for us..."
"Oh, I never thought of that. We're going to keep our distance though, as we don't want to make navigations harder on everyone involved."
With that, the submarine began heading forward, still watching out for anything that could harm the ship.
Message to: SS Morning Star, all ships involved
From: F.W.S. Doom's Day
We've picked up your vessels on Radar, please be advised that we will be close to the center of incident, if any further aid is needed, we will be able to arrive quickly. However, keep in mind that space is limited aboard the ship.

The Brittania pulled up to the passenger ships' sides, finally turning off its biggest and brightest lights, and flashing out a Morsed Message:
You might need help navigating these waters near this island chain we have sailed through this before and the nearest port to here is the Zoingonian city of Port Royal.
"Acknowledge them back tell them we will follow their lead!"

S.S.C.G SH-60 Seahawk "Angels' Grace"
A Somethingsomethingian radar station picked up the SOS signal from the S.S. Morning Star, and the Coast Guard scrambled a SH-60 from the nearest Coast Guard Air Station. "SOS Signal bearing 257 degrees," the co-pilot said, watching the radar screen. The pilot adjusted his course accordingly. "All ships in the area, listen," the pilot said over the radio on the emergency frequency, "This is Coast Guard Helicopter, callsign 'Angel', does anybody see the ship who transmitted the SOS signal?"
"Acknowledge them back tell them we will follow their lead!"
USZ Brittania
A sense of relief went out on those onboard, and then they planned their path...
"The eyewall is heading this direction...now, if we cut this way at a right angle, we can avoid the bulk of the storm, as well as get in the direction of Port Royal." A navigator laid on the table.
"That could however, make us run arground or smash into shoals near these islands over here." A officer pointed out.
"No wonder this area was never colonized.....it is do dangerous for any shipping to go through here...." Another remarked.
"If we go at half speed, we can most likely avoid any further trouble....all agreed."
"Aye Aye Sir!" they replied, and got to work...
Another message was sent back to the ship via morse, unfortunately with the growing storm intensity, it had to be done telegraphicly and not via light:
About to embark westward to avoid eye wall STOP If there are any wounded passengers or crew you can send them to our professional facilites onboard STOP

All of the crew, other than those in the Captains Quarters tending to the injured officer, was no on the other ship. The officer that had gone over to get a doctor was in the other ships Hospital Bay. "I need a doctor, and medical supplies, we have a man on the other ship, and he is hurt pretty bad," the officer said.

The officer that had gone over to get a doctor was in the other ships Hospital Bay. "I need a doctor, and medical supplies, we have a man on the other ship, and he is hurt pretty bad," the officer said.
"What a storm Elly," Dr. Saki Suzuka said to her assitant as she braced the medical supplies.
"Feel like a hurricane!."
Their attention turned to the officer rushing in clearly someone had been injured on deck. The Hospital Bay didn't have windows so they had no idea what was going on.
"Elly, I need a sucher, STAT!"
"Ma'am."
"How long has he been bleeding? Wait he's on another ship? You'll have to bring him."
USZ Brittania
The ship, continuously rocking, lead the passenger ship though the narrow and rockey shoals that surrounded the island chain, the storm now seemed to be a bit weaker and the pounding rain turned into a shower, but the waves were massive....and very high.
"The forward search lights are on and functional, after these 3 more islands, we should be out of the island chain Captain,"
"Excelent...this was a buy the book and very smooth rescue---" Captian Alanmar started to say, but he was suddenly interupted...
An alarming explosion feel sent soundwaves throught the ship, though it was seen that none such event occured, the ship seemed to stop.
"Its okay, we have only struck a reef, tell the Sea Breeze that we will be out in a bit," he said.
Then, a massive wave that was as high as the deck struck the ship and lurched the stern to the other side of the shoal, crashing the rear end of the ship into yet another reef, the ship was now slightly turned against both reefs, and now the narrow passage was blocked.....

Another large wave crashed over the deck. The ship suddenly began listing to port. More and more. The captain was thrust against the wall, along with the others with the injured sailor. Within moments the ship capsizing. In a span of minutes the ship had sunk beneath the surface.
"The ship is down Captain!"
"Throw what ever ropes you can to get the sailors out of the water and onboard!"
"Yes captain!"
USZ Brittania
The ships crew worked franticly to try to get the ship un-stuck to both sides of the reef, some of the doctors and returning patients saw in horror as the large cargo ship suddenly listed sharply to port, many were advised to get off of the deck as the ship could still face deck high waves. A signaled message was sent out to the Sea Breeze:
Crashed into reef STOP everyone aboard okay STOP Cut off engines because it may take awhile for us to get out of the reef STOP.
"My those high waves could get worse,"
"Tell me about it, after coming back from New Providence, I thought that the voyage home would be quieter."
