Over 700 million people live in the nation of 9o; they are known as Ninolians; a white skinned people who are generally tolerant; though several surveys suggest a dislike of Kashism, a religion that is known for its cannibalistic practices. Some Ninolians have European heritage; examples are Prime Minister Edward Castlebridge and Emperor Wilhelm III while others are full blooded Ninolians whose ancestry can, if lucky, be traced back to the 1700s or earlier. The majority language is Ninolian but English and German are widely spoken by many. A small minority of Ixanians live in the nation (Ixanica Province); most of them are guest workers and their families. There is no official religion though a variety of them are practiced. Kashists, despite a government policy of tolerance, face discrimination as "child eaters" and are rejected in many schools and other places. It is said that a woman who marries a Kashist can lose friends, family and reputation.

A peace march of 5,000 Kashics(correct way to say it) began to march down the capital, cries yelled " We are not murders!", " We are not evil, we are misunderstood!!!". So far the protesters were not shown any resistance. Black and Gold flags were waving the gold sun of Kash, they glimmerd as the sun rose that morning.
