Peace by any Means

The Pilgrims of Isa
16-02-2008, 00:14
On the planet of Isavrus, in the Marble City of Larus, Jishvar made his way to the Temple Barracks, the large structure towering over the Marble City, and looked in interest at the several ships sorounding the Temple, this was unusual, he was about to just run to the Temple when a ship caught his attention, it was grey, as grey as stone, and there was a large symbol positioned on the side of the huge ship, the symbol comprised of a open book with a black censer across its pages, Jishvar knew little of the many banners and symbols of the many armies of Isa, but it towered above the other spacecraft, and this was what caught the war-veterans attention, most transport ships of the Isa's warriors were the same size, bu somebody with such a large ship much be of some importance, Jishvar reasoned.

Upon getting closer to the ship, Jishvar saw that there were pieces of yellowed scrolls nailed to the ship, and that there was titanic guns on each side of the ship, what kind of ship was this, not meant for normal transport, this was a battleship, meant to transport troops from spaceports to other close locations, not just any troops either. He turned when he heard footsteps, and saw his young friend, Sulo, rushing up to him.
"Sulo, have you seen this strange ship, doesn't look like a regular Isan Army ship."
"Thats because its not a regular Isan Army ship at all Jishvar, now come on, you're late, and at the worst possible time,as Representative of the Temple Barracks in Larus you have been called for, by someone who really does not like to wait around."
"Who is this you speak of Sulo?" Jishvar asked as he was pushed along.
"The Prophets of Isa Jish, the Blessed are here!" Sulo hissed. " And not just any one either."
"But they're a myth!" Jishvar laughed, but Sulo didn't laugh, he didn't even smile, he just kept walking through the many corridors of the Temple.

When Jishvar entered the temple, he gasped and stopped in his tracks, but Sulor pushed him along. There was some, huge figure talking to the head armourer, the Armourer wasn't really saying anything he was just too terrified by the towering figure in front of him. The Giant was over Ten feet tall, and was hefting a immense mace-like thing across his shoulders. It was as big as Jishvar, and at the top of the object was an Angel, with it's wings spread outwards like a bird, and Jishvar could see that the wings were crazor sharp. The Armourer gestured toward Jishvar as he was talking, and when the Giant turned to look at Jishvar, the Armourer scuttled away. The Giant was wearing stone-gray armour as well, and there was a large book bound in chains at his hip, he was not wearing a helmet, but Jishvar noticed a helmet on the table next to him. On closer inspection of his armour, there were scrolls and even a censer hanging from the robes he wore over his bulking armour, and amazingly there were even inscriptions carved into the armour, so small it was almost impossible to read.
Sulo bowed his head.
"Apostle Vigilus, would you like anything to drink, or eat sir?" He said, smiling at the Giant.
"Are you the Temple Representative?" He asked in a deeper voice than Jishvar thought possible. Jishvar smirked at Sulo, who was visibly bristling from the Apostle's blatent disregard of his words.
"Yes sir." Jishvar said, bowing.
"Then I think you need to be replaced, this is disgraceful, I have more important matters to attend to than waiting for some mortal to be bothered to come to his own Temple." The Giant snapped, and Jishvar took a step back, terrified of the behemoth. But the Apostle stayed where he was, staring at Jishvar. "I have come to tell you that the Expedition Crusade will be using your Temple as a dorward launching base for our smaller ships, the area around this city is large and will be able to hold several cargo crafts for the Expedition."
Jishvar gaped at the man, "Well, it has my permission to be used as a forward base for the most Glorious Good of Isa." He smiled, nodding furiously
"It doesn't need your permission." Vigilus hissed, picking up his helmet. "I just came to tell you out of civility, something you seem to lack." With that, he strode out of the room, and left the Temple without a word.

After a few months, the Expedition was ready, and it blasted off into space, wanting Peace, but willing to get it by any means.
