Tribal Council Announces construction of the “Inculpatus Harold” defensive system

Chieftain Quicksilver of the White Phoenix Tribe, The Tribal Chieftain of the Tribal Chiefdom of Vetaka today made a rare announcement followed by a rare press conference. At precisely Midday today on the steps of the Palace of Freedom he announced that the Chiefdom of Vetaka would embark on would be known as the “Inculpatus Harold” project which would be spearheaded by the construction of the city of Inculpatus Harold. The Chieftain answered no questions but did hand out a 129 page document explaining the project. The Document simply entitled “Inculpatus Harold” is defined by the documents aims as:
“The Tribal Councils response to the very real and hostile world that Vetaka is in. It addresses and builds upon the successes of the Democratic Republican Years and It responds to and deals with the failures of the Republican Governments. The Vetakan People are a peaceful race but we must defend ourselves”
The “Inculpatus Harold” project is quite simply the largest defensive military and civil campaign the Vetakan people have embarked upon since “Operation: Vetakan Freedom” in the aftermath of the Vetakan Civil War. The project will see the updating and reinforcement of all Vetaka’s border defences as well as the construction of the New Theeb like Fortified City of Inculpatus Harold on the exposed fourth flank with Aurum Domus. The document address the possible political fall out from the construction of the city close to the Aurum Domus border by justifying it as “Necessary for the Defence of Vetaka and Aurum Domus”.
The “Inculpatus Harold” will also see the following strategic actions been made:
-Expansion of the VR Training simulator “Project Aces” at Samuel Island Military Base.
-Formation of Vetakan Defence Force (VDF) Defence Command (VDFDC) which will concentrate specifically on the Defence of the nation. VDFDC will operate out of New Theeb and will like all other commands report to VDF High Command.
-The securing of UFAN funding for the construction, updating and reinforcement of all border fences.
The document most notably announces that Vetaka will now proceed to seek a much more defensive foreign and defensive policy. Most notably and most eerily the document address the question regarding the Projects most original name:
“Named in honour of the strongest and most innocent of people, The Project and City is to remember all those whom have lost their lives in defence of Vetaka and its Allies. It is also to remember and honour those whom could have been most notably the Stillborn child of Christine Friedrich one of Wagdogs greatest leaders.”
