Whitman's Landing, Volstad, Haleigha Sea
A long-time coming, the port city of Whitman's Landing would see much activity with the start of the Volstad Treaty also known by its formal title of "Collective Security and Advancement Treaty" with the arrival of the governors from the respective possessions in Haven with connection to their Gholgothic homelands along with representatives from those nations as well, given the status of the colonies. The island was home to almost as many Aequatian citizens as it was to servicemen and women, given the colony's important strategic location in the Haleigha Sea, and the streets were evidence with the large number of uniformed personnel going about their off duty business along with the light utility trucks of the different services on the roads next to the compact personal vehicles of the citizenry.
It would be at the governor's mansion belonging to Governor James Hereford outside of the city that would play host to the meeting with the other colonial leaders and homeland representatives. The large meeting room where Hereford usually met with his cabinet was used with each seat marked with the name and flag of the different leaders, who were soon to arrive for the first round of introductions and discussions. The representative from the Aequatian Republic was that of Deputy Secretary of State Warren Holmes, who was waiting with the governors from the other Aequatian holdings in the dining room, which had been fitted for light refreshments. Upon the arrival of the other delegates, the meeting would start in earnest.
