For months since the revolution food shortages have plagued the new republic, and even reports of starvation were beginning to emerge. The superior socialist planned economy of course could not have been the problem, records indicate that supplies should have been adequate in the first 5-year plan.
It has been revealed today by state officials that the cause of these shortages were indeed the acts of anti-proletarial class enemies, who, driven out of the cities have been organizing clandestine private enterprises in the countryside. These 'kulaks', the state officials have revealed, were using fascist mobs to steal grain from innocent peasants, and to enrich themselves to speculating on higher prices in bourgeois markets abroad.
Today these counter-revolutionary wreckers and saboteurs, have been declared 'socially dangerous elements' and 'nonpeople' an have thus been convicted by the Revolutionary court under Article 58 (PRA Penal Code) as traitors to be shot. Their number is approximately 3,000~.
The Tribunal is also investigating possible links to foreign bourgeois individuals and states, and will release it's findings after their investigations are complete.
