Epilouge....
It seemed for the economicly damaged Zoingo that the situation only seemed to get worse, and a spark that erupted in debate in the nobility filtered down to the lower class, and a revolution flame had erupted...
Bill 359-B
Effective on this day, Febuary 9, 2008, by order of a large margin, Bill 359-B goes into effect in Royal Parliament by changing a few things to the structure and to the Constitution. Immediately, all members of Parliament are now a representative proportional to the people's economic standing currently in Zoingo. The Commons will achieve with the lower income to medium income populace and will host the most members at the time of the act. The Nobles will represent the upper middle and lower high income populace and recieve a few delegates. The Lords represent the highest wealth of the Commonwealth, and can overturn a act presented by the Nobels and Commons unless there is a 1/4 margin in the Lords to pass it. The Lords and Nobles combined also can overide vetoes from the King and Cabinet, not requiring every branch of Parliament.
This Act is now inclusive, and amends the Constitution.
Such hurtfull act of now dividing the power between the wealthy and the poor sent violent protests all over the land, and even in the colonies as well, although the split was seen more there. Uprisings and acts of violence were running amuck, evil was everywhere.....
In cities across the country, murders and disaperances of activits against and for the bill were found, and this would be brought to the doorsteps of the Parliament in Jublife City.....
Juvlii,Parliament Building (http://gregrob.ca/640x480/parliament.jpg)
The House was in session, voting on business relaxment bills to deal with the struggling economy, but outside at the gates, a scene was emerging...
Proclamed "revolutionaries" stormed the gates and overwhelmed the guard, who were captured, and sent off into the crowd of 2000. A armed band of 400 stormed into the building....shooting secretaries and janitors in the rotunda, even the clocksmith that was coming back from the daily routine was shot in the leg.
Luckily for a few, a personell worker was able to get onto the speaker with the House Leader, Lord Nordith, before the ruffans were able to get inside the main meeting room. However, at least 50 members of the Nobles and 34 of the House of Lords were unable to get out in time, and 79 of them were beaten or killed by gunfire instantaniously. For the 5 that were left, they were lined up, and shot in the head, their bodies hung off by ropes. The crowd cheered as a platform was made from which they would sway. For their act against representation, this was a heavy price....

Murder in Parliament: Who's side are you on?
Loyalists and Rebels are now being called in what was the bloodiest murder and beating of government officials since the revolution of 1519. 137 people are known to be dead in the attack on Jublife Cities' main Parliament building., including 84 parliament members, and everyone is asking, who's side of this new rising conflict are you on.
Rebels, whose support is mainly in the countryside and some big cities, claim that their representation has been violated, and most Rebels are commoners.
Loyalists, who support is along rivers, the coast, and the nation's largest cities claim that even though the government has gone wrong, that is not the right was to go.

To King Ragnald,
With the recent violence in your nation, we fear for your life, and wish, again to offer you safe haven in the Beatus. We also wish to extend this offer to your family, and any other high ranking government officials you feel may be in danger. We shall be prepared to evac you from a hostile location, upon receiving your reply. We shall treat any operation of this type, as taking place in a hostile location, as to the fact that by the time our forces arrive there, that very well may be the situation, and we want to be ready for such. I await your reply, but hope you accept this offer.

Alarms began blasting across the base, as soldiers began rushing around. The base was abuzz with activity. A C-54 sat on the runway, as solders began boarding it. Once all were aboard, it's engines fired up, and it was off toward Zoingo.

Generic Town
Revolutionary fervor had swept the town, and now the murmurs of rebellion where screams. Just this morning, two Rebel terrorists had attempted to destroy the factory by planting bombs. They were found trying to recruit a Loyalist worker, and the two of them were taken in front of everyone on the Assembly Line. There, they were brutally killed by repeated blows from copper knuckles, and their corpses were impaled outside the factory walls. A simple sign hung on each of their necks: "REBEL"
Less than an hour after this event, the Zoingan branch of the Buy & Sell Chamber of Commerce met, to deliver one devastating proclamation from the Corporation.
OFFICIAL CORPORATE RULING
In conjunction with the House of Lords and the House of Nobles, the Buy & Sell Corporation has now declared that all towns, cities, et cetera, with a Corporate presence that show derogatory actions toward the Aristocracy, Corporation, or Monarchy are to be annexed in the name of the Free Republic and Corporation. Further more, people found connected to the Zoingan Revolution are to be executed. Connections to the Revolution would include:
1. Sending or purchasing supplies, monetary or otherwise, to a known Revolutionary.
2. Speaking out against the Monarchy, Corporation, or Aristocracy of Zoingo.
3. Purchasing Revolutionary literature, symbols, or anything else of a Revolutionary nature.
4. Harboring a Revolutionary by guiding to either a safe location or offering up one's own property as a safe location.
5. Assaulting any man of the Corporation or Government, with exception to the House of Commons.
6. Being in posession of arms, munition, armor, or anything else of military use later than 13 February 2008. These should be turned in to the nearest Corporate or Government repository immediantly.
7. All other connections will be dealt with by the High Inquisitor, as appointed by the Buy & Sell Corporation.
Back in Generic Town, things were heating up fast. The factory workers had been held hostage by the Corporation, and the remaining townsfolk now had one chance to be free, and that was to assault the factory, getting the Vantanians off their soil once and for all.
OOC: I'll let you take over the riots against B&S from here.
Operations Room 1, VDF High Command, New Theeb, Vetaka:
The Main HD Screen that sat at the focus of Operations Room 1 suddenly changed from a pulsating map of Vetaka to show a Picture of two dead and bloody men impaled on spikes outside a compound each man had a sign theathed to its neck with a single word written on it "Rebel". The picture flicked and it returned to show a map of Vetaka. A man whom sat with his feet up on a desk spoke:
"So when was that taken? spoke O'Neil
"12 Hours Ago by a Local VSIS Operative posing as a Journalist, The Complex belongs to Buy & Sell Inc" replied a Intelligence Officer
"Corporations Operating like Tyrants" sighed O'Neil
"Sir, This is why I wish to deploy the Scouts?" replied Sharpe
O'Neil gazed at Sharpe before speaking softly:
"Do It"
"Yes Sir" came a quick reply

Venzalio....
The Aurocratic city soon was swarmed with moderates from all over the countryside seeking refuge in the heavily guarded city. Moderates still believed that a compromise in the heated battle of representation could still be reached.....
Of The Kings Cabinet that fled to Venzalio was Secretary of State Sterlin Robinson, as well as Secretary of Treasury Alfonzo Grieg, both were in a sidewalk cafe on a side boulevard of the main city streets.
"Finally, a time to relax from the troubles of Politics," Sterlin sighed.
"Yes.....and no "revolution to take sides on"," Alfonzo added.
"I still can't believe in all this....and that we have to take sides." Sterlin wondered aloud.
"Can I take you order?" a waiter asked.
"Yes the pêcher dans le papier with a side of lemon..." Sterlin ordered.
"Ill take the Manacotti Formagio." Alfonzo requested.
"Thank you, and your order will be out shortly..." the waiter said.
"So you were saying?" Alfonzo asked.
"Yes...well...it seems so unfair that we have to stick with the rebels, or remain loyal to Parliament." Sterlin ranted.
A suspicious car pulled up to the cafe......
The cafe inside was abuze with activity, when gunfire rang out of nowhere.....with a car driving away from the scene...the people inside found Sterlin shot in the arm, and Alfonzo apparently unconsious with heavy beat marks to the head.....the whole thing mistified the entire press and media...

Secretary of State and Treasury wounded! Taken to a local hospital in Venzalio.
Yesterday, Sterlin Robinson and Alfonzo Grieg were wounded greatly at a Venzalio sidewalk cafe, and were driven to a local hospital. Mr. Robinson sufferd shot wounds in the arm, and Mr. Grieg suffered severe head blows. The attackers had attacked very quickly, and no one else was pronounced injured in the attack. The getaway car has been seen leaving the city perimeiter, but the police and the 23rd regiment are on the case. As this conflict gets more violent, it seems to pull in innocents caught in the middle.

Unknown City in Zoingo
The man walking down the now destroyed street looked like any other person in the city. He drew no attraction to himself, and when he needed to speak, he spoke softly yet firmly. He walked around the city randomly - or so it seemed.
He stepped into a deserted shop and closed and locked the door behind him. Turning, he saw the rebel that he was supposed to meet with. "Ah, good, you are already here, comrade."
The rebel nodded. "Yes. I has money. Where weapons?", he said in broken Russian.
The man, unused to the bluntness of the man, simply replied, "They are at a safe house on Zhadov street. You will get the key when I get the intelligence."
The rebel nodded again, clearly impatient. "Yes, yes. It is in case, uh, right here." The rebel handed the suitcase to the man, and in turn a key was handed over to him.
The rebel gleefully walked out and boarded a truck full of his rebel comrades. The man took the papers from the case, stuffed them in a sealed bag, and burned the case. Making sure he left no trace of himself, he walked back out and to his safe house. Although the information was probably useless, his senior handler would no doubt want every piece of intelligence on the Zoingo capitalists.
So ended another exchange between the rebels of Zoingo and the government of Theoroshia.
OOC: I RP'd an exchange of intelligence for weapons, using your rebels. I dont' really want to get involved, just letting you know I'm funding the rebels for intelligence on your guys.

Roland, what on earth is going on over there? Is your legislature trying to cause a revolution? You must do all that you can to stop this mad attempt at forming an aristocracy, as it will lead only to ruin and division within Zoingo. Should you require it, I am willing to dispatch Hegemonic forces to help keep order, as well as offer refuge to any who should require it.

Skies South of Generic Town, Zoingo:
The Antonov An-225 thundered over the Zoingo nation at an Altitude of ft30,000 its body was white the words "Transnational Haulage" where written in red down each side of the plane. The plane was empty and was flying over Zoingo on its way to retrieve a cargo of fancy cars from a manufacturing plant in some unmentioned country that much was true. However their was a more sinister reason for the pilot choosing to fly over a nation that was now gripped by a revolution as the plane approached the Generic Town, an Amber Light in one of the planes rear Cargo Compartments flicked into life.
Two men within the Compartment grabbed handmade rifles and ensured they where holstered to their bodies they approached a door and held position a man at a Control Panel smiled and spoke:
"Remember your undertaking the High Altitude-Low Opening Jump, to avoid assume a stealth insertion. Once on the ground update via OBSAT at 12 Hours"
The two men nodded and with that a green light burst into life a klaxon sounded and a door opened the two men ran forward and leapt out of the plane. Falling away from the plane it rose to its ceiling height the men simply fell away and as terminal velocity they roared towards the earth eventually after free falling they opened their parachutes and they slowed in speed a few seconds past and they hit the ground as they did so the parachute separated from its man and they rolled on the floor coming to a halt their rifles where drawn and they secured their surroundings.
The Scouts had landed with their environment silent and deserted they checked their OBSAT PDA's to find they had landed 12 clicks south of Generic Town planning their route they set off keeping to the shadows and to cover they moved swiftly, silently and above all with stealth towards the Town. Their orders where simple observe the Corporations actions and report to Command.

To: Lord Sumguy
Well, I wish that I knew, all of the recent governmental bills, recent economic problems, and extended under confidence in our own establishment has seemed alot for the past few months. I guess I should summarise all that I know:
From looking back, the government of Zoingo has seen violent uprisings and revolutions in the past, such as forming a country in 1237, and then the Sargan revolt that burned down the city of Songdo (hence the city name New Songdo), in 1489. As well as the overthrow of the dictatorship in 1512, and the Port Royal Massacre in 1861. When I took the job as President, I did realize that something would eventually happen to our country, and that I would have to deal with it...
However, after joining the Hegemony, there was a strong push for the reform of the alleged monarchy, after it fell to a rebublic, then a dictatorship, and a democracy that was in effect untill recently. The change was peacefull, and we were able to find the remnants of the royal family line, however, Parliament had changed the most, with the edition of the House of Nobles. After messing around with power that unfortunatley I was not around to deal with, the Commons started to overturn every measure to not restirct the economy, such as repeling the high minimum wages that damaged business, to save the average worker.
Such lead to the economic collapse recently, and now the House of Lords seeks athority in the Commons' mistakes of leting socalism take over the driving force of trade and agriculture in the nation. By passing a recent bill by which I nor the king was around to clarify, the bill passed silently, and now representation is based on economics rather than districts. This is the main back behind the "revolts" these past days. And it seems that rebels are the main radicals in the lower branches, and the Loyalists are in the upper branches of Parliament.
Moderates are being attacked, such as prominent members of the kings cabinet, for being just that....moderates, not taking sides in this atrocity. Myself and the Queen are moderates, and see that this political muck-up was all a mistake. The Queen is currently in danger of being in Rodlanham Palace here in Jublife City, the capital, and may be on her way to The Beatus, as well as the king's children, Will and Annie, who are 12 and 8 respectively.
Please understand that I am trying my best to get out of the "blockade" of protesters that is outside of my office window. Send as much help as you can, and once again...I am almost out of ink, maybe I should switch to a computer instead...
Sincerely,
Roland J. Massaquine

The C-54 aircraft was approaching its target. The government had heard no reply form Zoingo, so it they would be going in under the impression that the Monarchy was loosing control fast, and there was no time for formalities. The men lined up, and prepared to jump. They were quickly nearing Rodlanham Palace. Moments later, the order was given, and the soldiers, in full airborne gear began they're jump. Within moments all 32 members of the team were parachuting toward the palace to protect the queen.
Generic Town
The massive wave of Rebels soon swarmed the town, armed with simple pots and rocks...to guns, grenades, and small rockets from a mysterious doner who had given the supplies to them..
The people soon halted outside of the big Buy & Sell Inc. factory, where they started throwing rocks through the windows, breaking them, and yelling and screaming the entire time. A band of Loyalists emerged from the other side of the building, and had fired their provided machine guns into the crowd, killing several, enraging the people who fired their simple rifles and pistols in response, and the armed partisans engaged outside of the fenced (?) building....
From a distance, 2 people armed with rockets conversed.
"Boy, our crowed down there could shure use our help," one of them laughed.
"Look, we were hired by the revolutionaries to take out the building, not just sit here and F@*# off!" The other replied harshly.
"Fine...geez tough audience, just because the rebels are hiring army members doesn't give you the right to boss me around." he mumbled.
"Just aim already...." the other replied back.
The two trained professionals took aim, and launched the guided missles, as the sheered towards the building, a wave of cheers and applaudes came from one side, while the other screamed and was horrified.

OOC: he's basically talking about declaring Zoingo to be in a state of direct Hegemonic rule (the Hegemony takes over the role of national government. Some current officials, such as Roland, would stay in power, but the nation's leader and "ruler" would be the Hegemon himself, temporarily.) for a time until a new government can be set up, a new consitution written, ect.

After a series of 'disturbing' pictures taken by a Government Satellite, President Hogart ordered 100,000 National Guard to be deployed in Zoingo as soon as possible
"The Cazelian government will not stand for a civil war of this magnitude to spiral out of control, much less lead to major civilian loss of life" Commented President Hogart "Therefore, there will be an immediate deployment of four National Guard Companies in Zoingo. May god be with the people"
The task force is expected to arrive in four days tome, and consists of:
-10x Wasp AAS

-1,200x M1A2 Abrams
-500x Aggressor Class Landing Craft
-3,000x HMMWVs

The Scouts had been moving since they had landed and sighted the town an hour or go or so, they had called in Spy Sat support from the OBSAT System and had spotted the gathering crowds outside of the Buy and Sell Inc complex moving into the city they secured a good vantage point and watched the events unfold all the while they used OBSAT COMCAM HD video cameras to monitor and record the situation. They had spotted the two Rocket Troops a few minutes before they had fired, monitoring them they managed to Zoom in with COMCAM's and get good face shots to see if VSIS could make a match.
Once they had fired and their explosions had subsided the Scouts looked down on the euphoric crowd and again brought their cameras to bear. However it was then the lead Scouts PDA buzzed away taking it out he looked down and read the messages contents before reading aloud to his companion:
"The Cazelians are deploying a large force, VDF Command orders us to continue to monitor the situation & be aware of Cazelians Spec Ops"

OOC: Backing up a bit...
Generic Town
The mob had approached the Buy & Sell Corporation's land, waving the flag of the Rebellion. A clear violation of the Buy & Sell corporate ruling. As such, they were to be killed, indiscriminately. As they continued marching forth, the four turrets swivelled to face them... and unleashed hell upon them. The turrets, stronger than mortar yet weaker than artillery, unloaded shell after shell on the enemy, killing many of the densely packed crowd. From atop the high walls of the factory, aristocratic teenagers turned their guns on their fellow citizens, and unleashed a full scale barrage of machine gun fire into the mob.
More guards rushed up to the smaller outer wall, and climbed the stairs ontop of it. Here, they took the enemy by surprise, rising unexpected to see them, and throwing fragmentation grenades varying distances into the army. They then ducked, waiting for the satisfactory explosion of grenades. Then, with rifles out and bayonets fixed, they rose again and covered the enemy in a hail of bullets.
Massive floodlights of considerable strength flooded the entire ground for half a mile around the factory with light, blinding, temporarily or not, anyone who happened to be looking at the factory at the time. And perhaps most importantly, the workers in the factory were taken hostage. The defense of the factory was stiff, and many rebels would die before they took this fortress.
Then, from somewhere near the crowd, two missiles shot out in the general direction of the factory. The enemy didn't see it, and the loyalists didn't care. With the floodlights offputting their aim, the rockets didn't hit the factory, but instead the outer wall. Some loyalists were buried in rubble, as well as a few rebels, but what happened was more important. There was a hole in the outer perimiter, which the rebels could use to charge the factory...
OOC: Don't get much farther than starting to charge the factory, as their are anti-charging defenses. See my description of the factory in the last thread for details.

LION to Hegemony: BUGGER OFF
In a surprising upset, Catherine Queen, the president of the League, told the Hegemony to "Stop bothering the real powers with their mediocrisy," and "To bugger off their little selves and let the real men handle Zoingo." While harsh, many citizens of the League and Vantanians alike agree with the general idea of the message. After all, with nations like Cazelia and North Calaveras, the Hegemony leaves an image of weakness, foolishness, and being headstrong. And that isn't even to go into the Hegemon and founder of the Hegemony itself, Lord Sumguy, an anti-freedom, theocratic man, who has many times intervened in a most imperialist way into his own allies.
Gathering this sentiment, the National Assembly voted today. President Zaphod Beeblebrox stated on their behalf that, "We have fighting men in there, and we can resolve the situation speedily. If the Hegemony tries bumbling their way into Zoingo and messing it up, their will be blood shed."

"This is bad news, sir. Very bad indeed." William White, minister of defense, hurried quickly behind the Imperator, brandishing a large sheaf of paper. "Sir, things are breaking down in Zoingo. The proletariat's revolting. Its all coming down around their ears." The Imperator turned, his long black jacket's tails swishing. He stared down at the shortish White. A short, white-haired man, White was the picture of innocence. If you hadn't known, you'd never have suspected that he could kill you six different ways without trying. The Imperator thought for a moment, then said, "Right. I want you to deploy 50,000 thousand infantry to Zoingo. And get in contact with General Welton and tell him the Libronauts have a job to do."
Lights flashed and sirens blared as several C-130 Hercules aircraft were rolled out onto the tarmac. Faxanavian infantry were boarding, guns polished and at the ready. These were 50,000 members of the Libronauts, the elite anti-insurgency group within the Faxanavian armed forces. They were specially trained, and prepared to deal with the uprising in any way necessary. The C-130's began to lift off, their rotors roaring like some behemoth of a creature. They were bound for Zoingo, and to help defeat the resistance.
Meanwhile, the Imperator sent a message out.

"Shit" muttered Lead Scout Rhino Dawn as he grabbed his rifle and took cover
His companion Scout Warrior Fox Dance did the same as the battle erupted gunfire and explosions rang out across the area. The two Scouts skilfully proceeded to film what they could of the battle. Managing to get the Buy & Sell Inc security forces brutally putting down the rebellion on their COMCAM cameras the video evidence would be useful if the Tribal Chiefdom decided to take the matter further and bring it to the attention of the International Community as the video evidence streamlined at the highest level of encryption itself via Satellite to Vetakan Defence Force High Command the Scouts swallowed hard as they watched men, women and children brutally killed by the vindictive and brutal Buy & Sell Inc personnel.
The Scouts felt for the Rebels after all the British during the Colonial Years of Vetaka had slaughtered thousands of Tribal White Phoenix men and women. Rhino Dawn & Fox Dance each trained their rifles on the Loyalist Buy & Sell Aristocratic Teenagers from their vantage point their fingers hovered over the trigger. The Scouts where elite marksman its what had made them famous in Special Forces circles around the world. After all the Vetakan Scout Units where made up of Tribal Warriors of the White Phoenix Tribe and the warriors of the tribe like all tribesman practiced basic marksmanship everyday since childhood. A Tribal Child as soon as he could walk was given a Stone and a Bowl and told to practice for an hour a day throwing the Stone into the Bowl from various distances and well the teachings of the warrior went from their. As the battle raged on below them Rhino Dawns pager buzzed slightly he read the message it was the order for the Scouts to pull back and secure an LZ it seemed the Tribal Chiefdom intended to intervene all be it unofficially and covertly on the side against Buy & Sell Inc which in this case was in support of the Hegemony. Cursing their luck the Scouts gathered their equipment and prepared to bug out from the town so they could secure an LZ whereby they could meet up with and brief other elements of Vetakan Special Forces.
However before they went they decided to do would they could to help the Rebels, training their handmade rifles on the Arrogant Aristocratic Teenagers they launched a deadly accurate volley of well placed Sniper Fire the two Scouts in total fired 20 Shots in rapid succession against the Teenagers on the wall. They didn't wait to see if they hit targets as Accurate Deadly Marksmanship was the Scouts speciality as soon as they had finished they moved away swiftly and with stealth away from the raging battle. Within 12 hours they would be reinforced by other elements of VDF Special Forces on a Covert Black Ops Mission.

About the government change, I would have neither the will nor the knoledge to see if it would work out? It might, but it could anger those who wish to keep the current government.

Cazelian Government Acts on side of Hegemonic Forces in Zoingo
February 14th, 2015:
After a series of 'disturbing' pictures taken by a Government Satellite, President Hogart ordered 100,000 National Guard to be deployed in Zoingo as soon as possible
"The Cazelian government will not stand for a civil war of this magnitude to spiral out of control, much less lead to major civilian loss of life" Commented President Hogart "Therefore, there will be an immediate deployment of four National Guard Companies in Zoingo. May god be with the people"
The task force is expected to arrive in four days tome, and consists of:
-10x Wasp AAS
-2x Highlander class Battleships
-9x Type 31 Destroyers (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13249734&postcount=26)
-7x Town Class Cruisers (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13249701&postcount=20)
-100,000x National Guardsmen
-1,200x M1A2 Abrams
-500x Aggressor Class Landing Craft
-3,000x HMMWVs
-400x Seahawk helicopters
The war was caused by two infighting idealist factions, the Loyalists and the Rebels. Neither is, in the President's terms right. The situation will be updated later in the day

People in the mob were being shot and wounded left and right, knowing this, the people went for a "now or never technique". Knowing the floodlights surrounded the building....the people put on cheap sunglasses, not helping much, but doing some form of help. Then, the people in the mob were met with supprise as two people suddenly started shooting from outside of their sight at the people on top of the building.
To get inside, a few local people from the army branch turned up on the Rebel faction, and had snuck into a weapons stronghold in nearby Villezongonia (refer to map on page 1), and stole a few Mp's, battle rifles, and 3 other things....
The people then rushed towards the building, preparing to charge with their weapons, steaping on some of their few hundred fallen comrades that died in the attack from the buildings' defenses.

They will be arriving shortly to help quell this insurrection. However, we advise you to rethink this legislation that has been recently passed, as it only seeks to enrage the revolutionaries.

Buy & Sell Secession! Operation: Bleeding Heart!
Today, much to the surprise of all involved, the head of the Zoingan branch of the Buy & Sell Corporation was confronted about the so-called "Corporate Rulings" and Death Squads he had set up. The owner, a Zoingan Aristocrat, stated that he was commiting a hostile takeover of the Zoingan branch to crush the Rebellion. CEO Boot was outraged, and called a session of the National Assembly. Soon after, President Beeblebrox declared:
"For the Rights of Man and the Zoingan, the Free Republic of Vantanas hereby declares a state of emergency in Zoingo. The League Rapid Response Force is at this point gathering to secure Fort Alcatran and the nearby Port Royal. We seek to evacuate the King to safe ground, the LION headquarters, and move from their to destroy the Rebellion. However, the Loyalists will not get away with this; they will pay! It is the intention of the Free Republic to stabilize this country, by making it a republic, kingdom, protectorate, or even colony!"

Two people had fired at teenagers, in the name of human rights. Quite hypocratic. What's more, they fired with Super Deadly Accuracy (SDA). Very overrated. They, like everyone else in the rebel side of the battle, could only make out indisctinct blurs, making their SDA effectively cancelled. Still, several of the teenagers died tumbling down to the grounds below. The rest, enraged, fired down on the factory ground rebels.
Meanwhile, at ground level, the enemy was starting to pour through. Guards from other parts of the wall rushed to the breach, shooting at every rebel they saw, and focusing more on the rebels that were going through the breach. The mighty turrets continued devastating the tightly packed rebels on the other side of the wall, inflicting heavy casualties. As some rebels managed to scale the wall of corpses, and make it to the factory grounds, the traps killed them. People were killed by anti-personell mines, immobilized by hidden bear traps, attacked by vicious dogs, and shot by teenagers.
When, in the very soon future, the factory finished off the rebels, the loyalists would pile up the corpses at the breach, and then organize Death Squads. March into the streets, take over the city, one house at a time. Kill any rebels. After the foolish rebels lost that is, and fled with bullets zipping at their fleeing army.

The C-130's roared through the sky, its vast rotors buzzing like angry hornets. They would be landing just outside of New Songdo, and be moving east and in land, towards the capital. The Faxanavians were not clearly defined on one side- they disdained both the actions of the loyalists, who were creating an unecesarry divide amongst the people- and the actions of the rebels, as uprising against the government was an uncommitable sin. As such, they were taking sides with LION forces. Their objective was to regain any ground possible and insure that it was safe. To achieve this task, a further 100,000 Faxanavian troops were inbound via more C-130's, with the goal of insuring the safety of whatever area they captured. Now, however, there were only the Libronauts.
The Libronauts were one of the most well trained and well equipped groups in the Faxanavian armed forces. They utulized the SaintB Ares III assault rifle, and were garbed like other infantry men in the new Atlas BDU. However, unlike other infantry men this fighting force was specially trained in anti-insurgency tactics. Their first goal was to retake New Songdo from whatever rebels or loyalists held it, and insure its safety. And, this was just what they were doing.
They were coming east and north, hitting the city on its south side. From a quarter of a mile away, the force massed, preparing their camp. They would attack that night, when the element of suprise was with them. With luck, New Songdo would be theirs by morning.

|Official Response|
No member of the Faxanavian armed forces currently deployed in Zoingo will fire upon or in any way attack any member of the Hegemony forces unless such forces make any attack on any forces of a member of LION or of the LION RRF itself.
The Faxanavian troops were lined up, prepared to move out. Backpacks were zipped, guns were loaded, uniforms donned, and every single thing that could be checked checked. They would sweep into the city shortly, taking any enemy forces there by suprise. Now, as the last vestiges of the suns rays bathed the land in red and gold light, the order was given. The troops began to move out.
They swept down the hills like a silent, black wave. They had been split into two groups of 25,000, striking the city from both the east and the south. Moving silently through the cities, they would look for any loyalists or rebels. When possible, they would be captured. When impossible, they would be killed.

OOC: Twenty? I apologize, I misread. Although 20 Super Deadly Accuracy shots in "rapid succession" from two people sound somewhat far-fetched. I'll edit in a few casualties, sorry about misreading.
Realistically, you should have read the prologue thread. As for why such extensive defenses, it's because I've had forces attack my factories en masse before. Even a national army. This leads to a certain amount of paranoia, especially towards powderkeg nations like Zoingo. As for the SDA, it's because of the blinding floodlights, as I emphasized in the post. Indistinct blurs and what not.
The entirety of the last paragraph was written in the future tense. None of it has happened yet. It is just what is planned, and likely.
As for the metagame, it baffles me to why you think it is so serious. I wove in a bit of criticism to an IC thread, and you leap at me for it. Those thoughts were being generated by a benign rain god in the sky noting. And the "Very Overrated" thing was because there are BLINDING FLOODLIGHTS. It's hard to be super accurate when there are blinding lights shining at you.
No offense, but your reaction to this seems rather oversensitive.

And now the army was getting involved...what had gone wrong with the world? Nothing out of the ordinary apparently, and now the Hegemony and LION were stepping in, with the Hegemony focusing in on the south, LION at the military base in Port Royal in the north....
"Im back, and it took me forever to reach here...." King Ragnald said as he walked into Roland's office.
"Your Majesty....." Roland began to say, but then something caught his eye.....
"Get down!" he said as a rock smashed into his window....a note was attached, and it was addresed to the king, the royal picked it up, and read it with Roland by his side...
"My god....that is why they were gone for so long....
The note read:

OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM TSRT GOVERNMENT
"The Totalitarian State has watched the situation in the nation of Zoingo detoriate for to long. It is time to re-establish order. Therefore, the State is preparing for deployment to crush the rebellion in Zoingo..."
End Statement
Red Tide's real motives, of course, were far more sinister. Red Tide's plan could be best described as pillaging. A Guards Army(500,000 men) would land in rebel controlled territory and begin a systematic campaign of extermination against any and all Zoingoians(?) caught in the path of the Guardsmen.
Simultaneously, any useful goods and services that fell into State Guard controlled territory was to be taken away. Industrial machinery, food stores, coal stockpiles, jewelry, anything that could be taken away with ease and was useful to the Red Tide government was to be hauled back to the original landing zone(although Buy & Sell properties were ordered to be left alone, given that the company was also operating in Red Tides SFEZ's).
And thus it came that the fleet disembarked, heading for Zoingo. Behind the invasion fleet were ships towing modernised Mulberry-esque artificial harbors.
A dark cloud was coming...

My superiors lost contact with your government, for some reason, and we don't know what the current situation is now, so an update would be nice," Colonel Smith said.
"Thank you Colonel Smith, but it seems that at the moment, we have another problem....take alook at this" Roland picked up the note....

The Hegemon could not help laughing as he read the news story, despite the threat contained within it. "Theocratic I can understand as an insult...but anti-freedom? I am a libertarian for goodness' sake!"
"Sir, I beleive that they are bluffing, and would not attack us should we intervene in the region. However, I suggest we remain neutral for now, lest their threat not be an idle one." Dr. Booker, the Foreign Minister, said, standing in front of the Hegemon's desk.
"Unacceptable." Lord Sumguy said, his expression hardening. "Zoingo is a Hegemonic nation first, a LION member second. They will not make good upon their threat, as to do so would spark a conflict that would be sure to either bring about the destruction of LION, or end in ruin for both sides. I don't care what their president thinks he can demand of me, I will not allow the fate of Zoingo to be in the hands of such imperialists, for them to use for their own interests."

Open Hegemonic Declaration:
The Hegemon hereby authorizes and orders the deployment of the Hegemonic International Defense Force to the nation of Zoingo, as is required per the Hegemony charter. All LION and Faxnavian forces within the nation of Zoingo are asked to co-operate with Hegemonic forces or stand down. Attack upon Hegemonic forces will be considered an act of war.

The Faxanavian forces swept into New Songdo. From the south, the 25,000 men split into groups of 500, each group tasked with tracking down any member of the enemy. Doors were kicked down, gunfire rang, grenades exploded, and smoke filled the night. It was like the largest raid ever coducted. As the south team carried out this attack on the enemy of New Songdo, the west team were scouring New Songdo for any rebel or loyalist bases, destroying what they found, looking to take prisoners. They were also quite careful to destroy any Buy & Sell Inc. buildings they came across, hurling grenades or firing stinger missiles at the buildings.

Life is Pain...
Love is Pain...
Death is Pain...
Such was exsistance. Every day was a struggle, a battle with something or other. Profiting from such struggles required specialized methods, and that's exactly what the Private Military Corporation of Mercenary Soldiers had: Specialists. Comprised of members from across the globe, drawn from the most elite forces of dozens of individual nations and law enforcement agencies, these men and women had trained extensively for one thing: combat.
A former motto of the corporation went as such: "Revolution is the Cornerstone of Change". It could be said that the corporate heavy-hitters had a soft spot for the little guy in the conflict, but then again they also seemed to like handing out automatic weapons. The UN called that irresponsible, but they didn't care. Their employees, if you could call millions of individually-contracted mercenaries 'employees', numbered as large as most national powerhouses on the UN Security Council and were usually left to their own devices.
A single Chinook had been loaded for bear with numerous implements of destruction, a few specialists in their useage, and been sent on its way to the country in question to meet with the rebel forces.
The bird arrived in Zoingo some fifteen hours later, after a few refuel stops to make sure the tank was more or less full when they arrived in country in the event they had to make a speedy exit. Setting down in an open field out in the countryside, they awaited their rebel contact...
"So when's this asshole supposed to show up? I don't like sitting in the open on top of a tank of chopper fuel and a shit-ton of explosives..."
"Chill out, man. He ought to be here, Corporate Intel is usually pretty good at getting these guys to show up..."
The first speaker, Marcus Scotts, was a former US Army Ranger and had been with the PMC for a number of years. Expeirenced as he was, he didn't like the pilot's choice of landing zones, but come to think of it he probably didn't have a choice either.
The second speaker, Jackson Davis, was a former Green Beret, a Weapons Sergeant (18B) to be exact, and while he hadn't been a merc for quite as long as Scotts had, he didn't have any bad feelings about the situation. Still, he kept a hand on the slightly-tricked-out M4A1-style carbine he'd brought along for the mission. Outfitted with one of SureFire's new light-integrated foregrips and a simple Trijicon AGOG combat optic. The sixteen-inch barrel provided excellent accuracy combined with the heavier 62-grain 5.56x45mm ammunition he had loaded in the polymer magazine. The weapon had started life as a Smith and Wesson MP15T, but he'd since made a few modifications to include a Rock River Arms match-grade trigger and an Ares-made piston operation system for enhanced reliability. The bolt carrier group and firing pin were both made from titanium for durability and lubricity, since conventional oil-based lubricants were dust and grit magnets unless you used specialty stuff.
Scotts had a similar set-up, but he'd opted for something a little more powerful. His rifle was still the familiar AR setup, but chambered in the flat-shooting 6.5mm Grendel. A twenty-inch free-floated barrel provided a stable launch platform for the rounds he'd loaded, provided he had to fire them at all. The stock was a MagPul precision model, adjustable for comb height and length-of-pull. The glass he'd mounted was a standard Leupold 10x24 scope, which he'd had modified with a rail system to mount the thermal vision adapter in front of it, as this was a night mission. A Harris bipod has also been added for increased stability. Internally, it was identical to Davis' rifle, right down to the piston operation system. Both men had sidearms, Davis a Beretta M92FS and Scotts a SIG P226, both in 9x19mm. There weren't too many modifications done there, except Davis had added a Hogue grip to his pistol.
They sat on the loading ramp of the chopper, patiently waiting for something to happen...

The Red Tidean invasion force entered Zoingo's territorial waters from the North, passing inbetween the string of islands off to the North and anchoring 4 kilometers offshore of Corpus Christi. The 203mm, 152mm, and 122mm guns of the various frigates, destroyers, and the single cruiser opened up on the hapless city, making sure to avoid targetting the docks and any Buy & Sell company properties, but otherwise firing indiscriminately into the city.
As the guns fired, landing craft left the transport ships and TC-2B heavy transport helicopters took off from the amphibious assualt ships, heading inland. The State Guardsmen waited patiently, thanks to their Hallucagenic Control Collars, every single one could be expected to fight to the bitter end and obey virtually any order given by their superiors.

That had been what they were after. Scotts stood, slowly holding his weapon over his head with one hand and holding the other one out. Neither had put on a vest at this point, so a firefight wasn't the best of ideas...
"Easy, easy... We're friends. Just come a bit closer and we'll show you. Our leaders have sent us to you with some goodies to give you, and the promise of more should you agree to our terms..."
Davis had taken up a slightly more aggressive position, keeping his weapon low and scanning for whatever was out there, ready to double-tap whatever struck him as a threat. As long as nobody cranked off a round, he'd hold his fire and talks would begin. They had a variety of useful items stashed away in their Chinook, stuff that most insurgents around the world would kill for, to include decent body armor, precision rifles, assault weapons, portable SAM's, and anti-vehicle devices. There were dozens of grenades of different sorts and Claymore anti-personnel mines as well as several blocks of both C2 and C4 plastic explosives...

"They're pretty simple. These supplies are yours, no questions asked. Sort of an Al-Queda starter kit. The terms are as follows: We give you weapons and supplies, possibly a few advisors, and you give the corporation we work for a percentage of your national profits each year should you take the country back. The terms are negotiable, but not with us. We're just here to deliver this stuff and assist you guys in learning how to operate it. If you'll just step inside, my associate will give you a rundown of what we've brought for you..."
Davis was the weapons expert, he'd take over while Scotts entertained the natives outside the chopper with war stories or whatever else they wanted to hear about. He'd also be taking questions...
"Jackson Davis, my counterpart, is a former Green Beret, one of their weapons specialists. He'll be showing you the goodies within while I talk with your men. Big Jack? You want to give the good General the grand tour?"
Davis, silently watching the grass for threats, nodded slowly before responding...
"By all means. I'd like it if the rest of his boys didn't hide in the wheat-field. We give him weapons, he gives us trust for now, and I don't trust people I don't see staring at me from behind a rifle-sight..."

Geist And Emorden Weapons Inc. International HQ, Magna Polis, The Grand World Order-
John Geist and Hans Emorden sat at their brown oak desks in their seperate offices in their massive twin skyscrapers, which, despite being the tallest non-Government building in Magna Polis, were still sadly dwarfed by The Spire. The West Tower was Emorden's, the East was Geist's.
The problem in Zoingo directly affected them. Obviously, sales could boom if they supplied the Rebels. However, that would severely piss off several governments, including the GWO's government. They could try to supply the Zoingo Loyalists, but they most likely already have a contract.
The Corporation eventually decided, after 3 Board Meetings, to do the following:
-Increase Corporate Soldiers in Zoingo
-Inform the Zoingo Loyalists that G&E Inc. would gladly supply them with weaponry
-Denounce the Rebels
The Spire, Magna Polis, The Grand World Order-
GRIFFITH-II sat behind his black wooden desk at the top of the Spire, which penetrated the local weather clouds. After reading a few News Articles from Zoingo, his decision was clear.
The Government eventually decided, after reading a few News Articles, to do the following:
-Possibly deploy Federal Military Units to Zoingo
-Inform the Zoingo Loyalists that the GWO will support them if nessecary
-Denounce the Rebels
To: Zoingo Loyalists
From: The Grand World Order Office of Foreign Affairs
The news of your Civil War has reached our ears, and we will support you in your fight to maintain order. We of course feel that you should do away with Parliament altogether, but we will not do anything about that. We know what the lower class' radicals can do to a nation's order, as we face it constantly in the streets of our cities. If you require a massive force of Army Personnel, we can do so. If you require a few teams of Special Tactics Force Agents, we can do so. Please respond ASAP.
Meanwhile, G&E had already been sending more Corporate Soldiers to protect assets in Zoingo. They had no need to come armed, as they could simply be given a weapon when they arrived. Each major G&E installation would have a proportionate garrison of Corporate Soldiers protecting it, but they still were a few days away.

Operations Room 1, Vetakan Defence Force Operational High Command, New Theeb, Vetaka:
The VDF High Command building was located in the Old City within the centre of the Vetakan Capital of New Theeb. It formed part of Freedom Square along with the Palace of Freedom, the Directorate of Foreign Affairs and Chieftain Road. The VDF High Command building whislt like most of Old New Theeb a shell of architectural wonders and prestige housed some of the most modern and effective Command and Control technologies aviable. Operations Room 1 was located hundreds of metres beneath the building and was the ulimate Command Room for the Vetakan Military its stations and staff had relayed orders to the Vetakan Military from its leadership in just about every major incident the Vetakan Military had been a part of and today was no different, Operations Room 1 was hosting the Zoingo Crisis.
The rooms main High Definition Screen that practically covered an entire wall hosted a Pulsating Live Map of the Zoingo Nation. It was live as the map not only showed the geography of the nation as Vetaka understood it but it also showed various activities going on within the nation that Vetakan Security and Intelligence Assets, Conventional Recon and OBSAT Spy Sats where aware of. The map also showed various dotted lines in different colours which referred to various inbound fleets and forces that other nations and alliances had deployed to the nation. Until a few hours ago the Vetakan Zoingo Operation which had been codenamed Operation: Viper was under the Operational Directive of VDF Special Operations Command but with the situation deteriotating it had been decided that VDF High Command had to step in. As a result the Two Highest Ranking Military Officers and the Highest Ranking Politician of the Tribal Council directly below the Tribal Chieftain had met to debate the situation:

ooc: New Songdo is not contested, but it is a strong loyalist city.
The loyalists, fearing a rebel attack...had recovered tanks and armored vehicles from nearby army bases and rolled them into the city to retaliate the attack. The other few million people residing in the city took to arms with the sockpile in the northwest side of the city, and began counter engaging in the streets, not reconizing the people they were attacking were actually LION forces.
The beginning had gone quite well, as many beginnings did. Unfortunately, it was the bit in the middle, when the people of New Songdo started fighting back, that things got interesting.
"Duck and cover!" Shouted one soldier as a shell blasted over their heads. The barrage by the loyalist tanks was pounding them. One man stood, fired an stinger missile at a tank, and was promptly incinerated as at least six guns found him. The rest of his group was safely undercover. As they hid, orders came out over the radio to all field teams. "Right," said the sergeant in charge, one Baron Brenson. "We need to take down these tanks. We've got our own artillery inbound, and we're going to be giving them a good pounding." As Brenson spoke, the loud ominous sound of mobile artillery rolled up behind them. Brenson turned and smiled as 1 of 15 LY300 Manticore Multiple Rocket Systems came to a halt and opened fire.
Sergeant Mac Denwald was, meanwhile, faced with a slightly different job. He was from south group, and now it was his job to not run away from the guns, but run at them with a large bullhorn. More specifically, this was why he was now standing on the rooftop of a rather large building, a crowd of angry people massed below with guns. These were the townsfolk who had taken arms upon the invasion. Now, he had to calm them down. "Attention people of New Songdo- we are not the enemy! We are here to help! We are Faxanavian elite anti-insurgency forces, here to help drive the Loyalists from your town and reclaim it for Zoingo! Please do not fire on any Faxanavian soldier! I repeat, we are here to help!" With that message, he ducked down below a conveniently placed air conditioner which blocked him from view below.
Approaching Scout Secured Drop Zone, 6 Kilometers South of Generic Town, Zoingo:
The White "Transnational Hauliage" C-5 Galaxy approached the Drop Zone Co-ordinates cautiously whilst officially the Transnational Hauliage Flight 979 had official permission to fly through Zoingo Airspace on its journey to Honako its pilots where still concerned that with all the Military Fighters thundering about the place the huge white C-5 might be considered to be an enemy and thus engaged. To the rear of the C-5 a Amber light lit up and a klaxon sounded strongly with that 23 Black Fatigued Figures stood up and checked their equipment they then formed two lines in front of the C-5's Massive Rear Door which proceeded to open a few moments later a second Klaxon sounded and a green light appeared from behind the two lines the loadmaster shouted over the rush of the wind:
"REMEMBER THIS IS A HALO JUMP, SO DON'T FORGET TO BREATH Dropzone in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1 GOOD LUCK GO GO GO"
With that the 23 Figures ran and leapt from the aircraft which began to acclerate upwards to its ceiling height of 34,000ft arcing away within a few hours it would be within Honako picking up Post and Mail. The 23 figures shot down towards the earth at terminal velocity breathing through specially designed HALO Jump masks which provided the required air to surive the jump as the parachutists roared through whatever radar the Zoingo where monitoring employing in this crisis right at the last safe second the 23 Black HALO stealth parachutes deployed and their operators slowed coming into land each operator rolled and drew their weapons to secure their immediate area.
The area was bathed in moonlight as night had fallen, it was the middle of the countryside and nothing really stirred apart from the odd animal as the operators regrouped and took up defensive positions. A few seconds later and the bushes rustled with movement the men and women of the VDF Special Forces tensed their weapons clicked off safety within a flash. Training their rifles in the direction of the noise they where reliefed when 2 Robed men stepped into the moonlight and whispered:
"Its good to see you made it Captain Daniel Hagman"
One of the Black Fatigued men smiled and spoke up:
"Indeed, Rhino-Dawn Report?"
The Scout smiled and spoke:
"The Country is in a state of total chaos, Generic Town is basically a Buy & Sell Incorporated Playground. Commands Orders?"
"Deploy to Generic Town, Destroy the Factory, Engage any Buy and Sell security forces. and if required Re-Take the Town" replied the Captain
"The usual then, Lets move out" chuckled the Scout
"Indeed, All Units Defensive Formations, Scouts will you be so kind as to take point" ordered the Captain.
With that the Men and Women took up a Defensive Fomation and began to move towards Generic Town. Within an hour or so pending no enemies they would arrive on the outskirts of the Town where they would begin Recon.

Corpus Christi Port Zone, a few hours after initial invasion...
Colonel-General Kesporov Volodovich Nestov watched from his recently set-up headquarters as troops, guns, vehicles, and supplies were offloaded onto land from the docks. Nestov had set-up his HQ in a Port Control Building, so as to better direct the coming battles.
In the distance, gunfire crackled, State Guardsmen were going through the city, executing anyone who they saw. Loyalist, rebel, just some random citizen, it did not matter who you were, you were dead.
"Sir..." A Colonel said, bringing Nestov out of his reflection of a job well-done, "Should we radio the mainland?"
"Da," Nestov replied, "And tell them we have taken the airport!"
Red Tidean troops had been able to seize the airport mostly intact, shelling had damaged some of the hangars, but otherwise, little damage had been done. It was a requirement that the airport be taken, so fighters and surface attack aircraft could be flown in to provide support.
Strolling over to a map of Zoingo, Nestv muttered something and then pointed at the map.
"We'll want to head south too Mt Clydeld as soon as we are ready..."

"Yes sir." Came a voice on the other line.

Along the Sumguaian-Zoingan border, masses of infantry and armor began to move, crossing into Eastern Zoingo. A total of 650,000 soldiers of the HIDF moved, heading for the major eastern cities of Zoingo

The screaming noise of jet engines faded the hundreds of landing craft approaching the beaches on the morning of February 18th. Already Harrier jumpjets had been conducting airborne sweeps of the area, but it was not clear that the area was free of either Loyalist or Rebel forces; Which in turn would make a possibly hostile area open to snipers and soldiers hiding in buildings. This would be tricky. The men would need backup. Backup from the feds.
Immediately, President Hogart sent a communique' to the Federal Union, asking them to send re-enforcements.
~Official Communique'~
The situation is escalating, with LOIN forces threatening our forces and our men landing in an unconfirmed hot-zone. Our lack of carrier air support puts us at a risk of losing the skies to our enemies. I humbly request that you send a carrier group to station itself near the shores of Zoingo.
Sincerely
James Hogart
~President
As the marines landed, a new shipment of AM-4s were en-route aboard a Nimitz class carrier. Several miles east the Marines were landing, and the operation was a go.

UFS Leviathan BBG-102
0550 Hours –
The massive for hundred a fifty meter warship began to steam out of harbor, followed by a group of twenty war ships, its dark grey body ominously cut through the glittering waves, the sun shimmering upon the water in front of it was white cressets formed parting along the bow of the stealthy battle ship. John mayers stood on the bridge of the stealthy ship, looking out to the orange glow of the rising sun, the water glinting with its light. His blue eyes peered away from the now lit ocean down towards several sensor stations, officers sat in their chairs taping gently along the digitized LCD controls, he looked down to one of the officers and started to speak as he put his hands in to this white naval dress uniform coat.
“Are we in range of the rest of the fleet Ensign?”
The younger officer looked up to his admiral; he spoke back with a professional voice.
“Yes sir we will be shortly, AIDBS reports all command interlocks engaged, satellite control and command established, we can see the battle field now.”
John smiled, his lips curled up, his slightly wrinkled face stretching as he grinned looking back out to sea, watching as a looming grey mass of warships appeared, totaling 120 ships, cruisers, frigates, destroyers, battle ships, they all steamed along quietly and ominously breaking the waves of the sea from their bows as the moved forward.
The group of ships consisted of several Leviathan class Guided missile battle ships, nexus class carriers, and several Atlantis class Missile cruisers and multiple dauntless class destroyers, as well as Defender heavy anti air / anti ship frigates. Submarines also escorted the fleet from the murky depths between the waves.
As the fleets merged in to a movement formation, satellites circled above, zooming in and peering down upon field of battle, determining the disposition of enemy forces, sending it to the ships via AIDBS net.
The fleet moved forward, the nexus class carriers prepped their fighters bellow deck, personnel had been dragging dolleys filled with missiles and ordinance, towards the masses of F-35’s F-7’s and F/A-18 parked along the lines of the deck, the air was salty and crisp, the chief in charge was in the upper deck, several F-35’s were parked along as the carrier floated amongst the countless grey rumbling ships in the fleet.
His face was red from the now beading down sun, his hands rough and dirty from loading bombs, ordinance, and other maintenance on the aircraft, he barked out orders left and right to his personnel.
John sighed as his fleet started to near the coast of the war torn nation, the gently silently gliding groups of ships began to slow down, as they were at least 100 miles away from any LOIN forces , he pulled his hands out of his pockets, and looked down, he had a watch that his grandfather had given him from the second world war, it was engraved with the naval motto, don’t read on me… it meant a lot to join, this was the first time he was going in to the battle in a long time, his emotions were clam yet tense. He looked up put his hand on the LCD console pressed down and started to talk, as the Radio started to broadcast.
“This is Admiral John Mayers of the United Democratic Federation, we are here under UFAN request, to assist Hegemony forces in the area, and we will do so to the beast of our abilities, it will be considered an act of war against the Democratic Federation if any force attacks this fleet, all LION forces stand down or be met with the full might of this armada…”
His voice was stern and swift, he cut it off and sat back on his chair looking out towards the coast, satellite feeds, LADAR feeds, over the horizon radar feeds pouring in to the ships command and control center. John looked over to another ensign, his XO was in back prepping the crew for combat, he said with a tough professionally commanding voice.
“Prep fighters for launch, scramble radio codes, and engage defensive and offensive systems, all VLS tubes hot, torpedo tubes at the ready, the works lets be ready for this fight!”
With that the entire fleet went to general quarters, klaxons blared along the ships, missile tubes were loaded, fighters began to taxi and prep for launch, over two thousand fighters on the 20 carriers combined began to ready themselves.
It was a good day for battle, if the enemy wanted a fight the Federal Union would give it to them, if they backed off well, it showed the federation to be in superior strength and number...

Davis let his rifle hang on it's one-point sling, shifting it down and out of his way for now...
"OK, sir..."
The former Special Forces soldier picked up a single G3A3 rifle from a crate of several within the chopper...
"What we have here is a standard Heckler and Koch G3A3 gas-operated select-fire assault rifle in 7.62x51mm NATO, with a 20-round detatchable box magazine. Like any H&K product it's reliable under just about any conditions, accurate as you are, and has enough range and power to flatten any human-sized target you're going to face reguardless of the presence of basic body armor. It won't penetrate a trama plate, but it will knock a hole in an infantry helmet from distances out to a mile, but you wouldn't want to employ this weapon for that. We've got this little beauty right here for that purpose..."
Davis put the G3 down and picked up a PSG-1 from the set of crates next to the ones that contained the G3's...
"The PSG-1 is the most accurate off-the-shelf sniper weapon in the world. It has something like an 85% part commonality with the G3 rifle and is more than capable of that elusive one-mile shot. The pistol grip and stock are adjustable for length-of-pull and comb height so your boys can customize it to their liking. Again, it's chambered for the 7.62x51mm NATO round..."
The PSG-1 went back into its individual box, of which there were fifteen, before Davis snatched up what looked like a short tube...
"Your standard M72 Light Anti-tank Weapon, or simply LAW. A one-shot disposible 66mm rocket useful for knocking out light armored vehicles or destroying structures. While it will hurt modern tanks, we have something else in mind for you guys..."
Davis set the LAW down on top of the numerous crates containing four LAW's each before hefting the nicest thing they'd brought along onto his shoulders...
"Gentlemen, may I present the FGM-148 'Javelin' anti-armor system. This angry bastard fires a single 127mm missile that hits the top of the tank you've targeted for maximum effect. The best feature, however, is that you can 'fire-and-forget' after you lock onto the vehicle's thermal signature, meaning you can shoot and scoot before the enemy knows what hit them. We've got two launchers for you guys, plus around twenty missiles and ten batteries to power the FAF systems..."
Davis set the missile launcher down and showed them the last things he had for them: Explosives...
"We've also got two types of grenades, some plastic explosives, and some door-kickers for you. Grenade-wise, we have the standard M67 fragmentation grenade for anti-personnel work and the highly useful M18 smoke grenade in a rainbow of colors for concealing your movements or signaling each other. We've also got around eighty bricks of C4 plastic explosive, each with an electronic detonator, as well as some C2 door-knockers..."
Davis held up a small cylinder with a loop attatched to the top of it and a pin in the bottom...
"Just hang this little dude on the door knob and take a few steps to the side. It's a shaped charge that blows inwards, destroying the locking mechanisum and everything behind it for a distance of five meters. Just yank the pin to activate and get to the side of it, just two or so feet. It'll disorient and confuse anyone inside, giving you a few seconds to breech and clear the room before they can defend themselves effectively..."
The mercenary set the device down before resting his left hand on the butt of his rifle...
"That's all we've got for you guys this time around. Use it well and you'll live to deliver us your decision in three days. Corporate'll send someone around, probably us again, to check on you guys..."
He paused for a moment, letting what he'd said sink in...
"Questions? Concerns? Comments?"

When they reached the roof of the palace, three helicopters were just landing. The king was loaded into the first helicopter, and was accompanied by 8 men. For safety reasons, Roland and the Colonel took the second helicopter, with 7 of the soldiers, and the rest took the third helicopter, which was a much larger transport helicopter. Then the helicopters lifted off, and headed back toward the ships.

(ooc: dam me for not explaining terrain, think Venice...on a lagoon.)
Port Royal
The historic and sunken city, while beautiful, prepared to repel an invasion by upcoming forces. The bridges to the city were destroyed, a light navel force patroled the lagoon, and several small gunboats patroled the canals of the city.
Citizens took to the rooftops and small moter boats, the main squares were turned into bunkers, and the cities' palaces turned into armed stations.
"Hmm, it would seems our assistance is greatly required." The Hegemon said to himself. He turned to his phone, dialing a number. "Begin the movements." He said after waiting a moment.

Unknown Rebel Capital
"The nation of Lord Sumguy is invading us in the eastern region," one of the council members stated.
"They will have to get past the several forts, as well as deal with artillery installments." the head of the council pointed out.
"We must install more partisans in the area to fully secure it, if not lose it to a forign nation."
"Agreed, so what is the latest?"
"We lost the town of San-Soreno to the loyalists, and the nation of Faxinavia has stepped in and started to battle in New Songdo. Cazelia has also engaged in Port Royal, and the loyalsits have also struck and gained a 10 mile radius area around Venzalio, securing the area for them."
"Do we still have the bargining chip?"
"Yes, and the loyalists have theirs....."
"We need to leave now, my men will carry the king, up to the roof, where transport should be waiting for us," the Colonel said to Roland.
"Very well, lets go..." Roland replied, and lead them to a safer route through the palace, he unlached the roof, and stepped on top.

Davis nodded...
"Great. Then this stuff is all yours, along with the ammo stashed in the back..."
The mercenary gestured towards several rows of stacked crates that contained 7.62x51mm ammunition already loaded into G3-compatible magazines and a few that contained Javelin missiles...
"Oh yeah..."
Having forgotten, Davis handed the General a single satellite phone with a charger hanging from it...
"When you decide if you accept our terms or not, the number is saved in the phone memory..."
They'd wait until the equipment was unloaded, then be on their way...

The rebels quickly started to unload the items out of the chopper one by one, and pretty soon, most of the items were now in the tall grass.

Davis waved a quick good-bye before stepping back into the chopper as it lifted off again into the night...
"You think they'll say yes?"
"Fuck if I know, they might not last the rest of the week..."
"Yeah, that's true..."
Their conversation was lost to the thud of the rotors as the bird began to make its way out of the contested country...
The chopper cleared into the sky, and the field became quite again....
