Breeders and Women is sorrowful to report that the pregnant Lissaura Lacrim, 18-year-old daughter of Tof Lacrim, cousin of Tiya Lacrim (who incidentally happens to be accepting a suitor or suitors at this time- see the post Prince Tyler Seeks a Wife for details, she's mentioned near the end), and third princess of the nation, was kidnapped yesterday by armed guerillas operating out of the adjacent country of Heim, a little-known nation whose government has been destroyed by their activity. She was out with her cousin at a horse breeding center at the time. She was guarded, of course, but her guards were immediately slaughtered by machine gun :mp5: fire. Our nation of course will not tolerate this.

We have begun an invasion of Heim by both land and air (we would do sea, but unlike us, they're landlocked). No civilians are allowed across their border (except our own fleeing out)- if any of their people are in your countries, you are requested to hold them in your nation until this is done.

While we would love assistance of any kind, please clear it with us first. Heim is nestled in a little nook in our nation and fighting and explosives or bombing planes could easily stray. We also don't want any midair crashes. We also appreciate financial assistance and mercenaries. Our people are not ingrates- any who help us will be rewarded.

For those who already have intelligence operatives in Heim, you are asked to do whatever you can to bring Lissaura to safety and to report any relevant information.

Description:

Tanned skin, light brown hair, hazel eyes.

Eight and a half month's pregnant.

Last seen wearing a blue pair of panties and a ceremonial sash which hugs her midriff. The sash is light blue, but very delicate and it may have torn by now.

Lissaura has a tattoo of the statue David on her left hip.

The plane landed and off stepped an incredibly sexy woman beautiful blond hair, young and deadly. She was a mercenary who heard of the kidnapping. She wanted a job and she wanted this one. Now she needed to talk to the people in charge to be assigned to the job. "My name is Agent M, and I'm here to help."

General Erethro to Agent M: "You are granted permission to enter Heim. First. though, go to Alpha Base in our capital of Shaad to see me so I can give you the right ID. You are being given Beta Wolf Class security and action clearance. This means that you are allowed to use reasonable lethal action while in Heim, and are allowed to go to our army for limited supplies and money. You are only to act while in Heim, though, and if approached by military personnel for information you must divulge it."

Military report: All major cities in Heim were yesterday surrounded by troops and all civilians were ordered to flee into refugee camps. Then our planes started selective bombing- aka no religious centers or hospitals but most everything else. Fighting has moved into the forested mountains.

Intelligence report: Lissaura Lacrim was sighted twice so far by soldiers and intelligence. She was sighted early morning by a patrol, which was promptly destroyed except for one person, who ran back and lived just long enough to report the location and that Lissaura had lost her sash but was otherwise healthy. A few hours later, a spy among the guerrillas who is based at a transit point for them reported that she has been changed into a long black dress and in now wearing a silver veil. Unfortunately, this constitutes traditional female wear in Heim.

Report: Heim is currently in quite a few pieces. We have overrun all but Mt. Thol. Unfortunately, intelligence says that Lissaura Lacrim is there. Luckily, the guerrillas appear to be considering ransoming her off. More later.

"Understood. I will proceed now." She was escorted to where she was pointed to go to. "Hello, I was sent here upon my entrance into your fine country. I'm Agent M, I'm a hired mercenary and I'm here to recover the kidnapped."

"You can count on me." She left for the plane. As it began to fly into enemy territory she suited up and loaded up. "See ya later." She winked and jumped opening the parachute making an easy landing in a tree not to far up from the ground. She cut the chute and began creeping around looking for anyone that may kill her or otherwise lead her to the kidnapped.

B and W State News:

"The Army yesterday revealed that is has in fact been training a corp of jetpack troopers, something which it has actively denied for several years.

These troops are heavily armed and are trained in the use of vehicles, explosives, sniping, and ranged and melee combat.

They are only answerable to the head of the army, currently General Erethro, the Hereditary Administrator, currently his Competence Tof Lacrim, and the head of their own legion.

They have the authority to kill anything that breathes in the name of our nation."



Army memo to Commander Than, head of the Jetpack Elite Legion:

Remember to watch your step, and don't abuse your authority. Remember, tell your men to protect their jetpacks at all costs. They're very expensive, and our testing has shown that they take very little damage-maybe one good bullet- to set off a very large explosion, and then the user is dead. Also, avoid AA fire.

B and W State News: We have mixed news to report.

First, Lissaura Lacrim gave birth to a healthy male child yesterday. The boy has been taken home to the capital, where he is under heavy guard. Unfortunately, Lissaura herself is still captive. Both baby and news were recovered by the new Jetpack Elite Legion after they destroyed the local guerrilla garrison.

Classified: The jetpack troopers felt an overwhelming need to "make a statement"after learning of the princess's continued captivity, so they burned all of the village's farms. later on, a guerrilla shot one of them in the jetpack from behind. The perpetrator then ran back into the village. The Legion then marched back into the village and shot every person holding any sort of a weapon, then burned all the houses. Press release is inevitable, but it will have to be carefully controlled.

General Erethro to Commander Than: "What did I say about not abusing your authority?"
Commander Than: "One of my men was assassinated. The blast from the jetpack flung him 20 feet and almost tore him in half."
General: "Well, try to exercise a little more restraint when you punish the locals! Do better!"
Commander: "There was one more little run-in we forgot to mention."
General: (groans) "With whom?"
Commander: "Air Force."
General: "What the-! Ours!?"
Commander: "A chopper nearly hit us. I blew off the rotor and it fell."
General: "Oh, God..." (faints)

Royal Intelligence Memo to Military: Commander Than's mental instability was partially revealed during the survivalist exercises during training, but this has shown it to be even worse. Commander Than is quite possibly psychotic, and new intelligence reveals that he is not happy with the way things are being run. In order to prevent more insanity or even a military coup or civil war, the Military Bureau of Removals is to do what they do best.

General Erethro to Agent m, via a small transmission device which looks like an empty box of Tic-tacs: "Agent, we have a new job for you. You are to kill Commander Than of the Jetpack Elite Legion. Make yourself look like a guerrilla, do it quietly, and only kill Than. His men don't need to be eliminated, they merely need to be reminded that they are not invincible and discretion is not outdated. This will be the hardest job you've ever taken, and you'll probably die, but if you manage and can prove it, the reward will be great. We would do this ourselves, but quite frankly, we don't feel up to the job. SPEAK OF THIS MISSION TO NONE BUT MYSELF. Good luck."

"Consider it done." She signed out and loaded up her weapons. She assembled a riffle to snipe him off. Creeping up to the area where he was suppose to be hiding she carefully shrouded her self in the foliage of the bushes. Taking aim she waited for the right shot. Her fingre slowly pressed down on the trigger and bang a shot was fired...

the newly appointed commander Atos: "General Erethro?"
Erethro: "Yes?"
Atos: "We have bad news."
Erethro: "What?"
Atos: "A guerrilla marksman fired a shot at commander Than yesterday. We think she was trying to hit the jetpack."
Erethro: "Let me guess. She hit some expensive equipment."
Atos: "Well, actually, she managed to hit what she was aiming at: namely, Than."
Erethro: "Which explains your new rank. Did she get away?"
Atos: "No. We were on patrol and saw the explosion. It was 5 miles away but the jetpacks are rather on the fast side, so we gunned as fast as we could and saw her trying to reload. She never managed."
Erethro: "What happened to her?"
Atos (shrugs and adjusts her uniform): "Dead, of course. Two men flew down, grabbed her by the arms, took her up hundreds of feet, and then dropped her into a rocky ravine. We checked the body, of course." (She answers her cell phone) "I have to go, sir, we've located a guerrilla camp on the border." (she leaves)

Memo to Kanami: We are afraid that the mercenary you sent us is no longer alive. Before she died, though, she rendered us one very great service whose nature will remain confidential. We owe someone payment for that, plus her ordinary wage and compensation for her death. Whom does it go to?
