The term House of Boothby, refers to the nation’s founding family and hereditary rulers. House of Boothby historians trace the stem Booth to a Norman tribe of woodworkers, with Booth referring to the plank of a typical Norman ship.

Comprised of 160,934.4 square kilometers the nation of the House of Boothby is divided into three regional designations. In chronological order the national seat of Nova Zembella sits on the coast of the Barents Sea.Noca Zembella is situated within the Canton of Bellevue but formally is considered separate.
The Canton of Bellevue was the second region to be officially recognized by The House of Boothby. Bellevue is bounded to the west by Torqvue, and extends eastwards to the White Sea. Bellevues southern bound extends 158 km south of the White Sea.
The third region of the House of Boothby, the Canton of Riechenbach, is situated to the south of Bellevue and extends to the nation's southern most borders. Riechenback is home to the House of Boothby’s largest city, Montreux, which is situated on the coast of the Gulf of Finland.
Environment:
The House of Boothby’s environment is dichotic, which the northern Canton of Bellevue being extremely barren, consisting of mostly glacial rock fields and tundra. The eastern border is dotted with copious inlets and fens, which undergo seasonal freezing and thawing.
The southern Canton of Riechenbach gives way to vast wildernesses and forests. Glacial valleys make up most of the southern most regions.
There are 29,037 different plant species identified to be native to the House of Boothby. The majority of these occur in the southern Canton of Riechenbach. The most abundant tree is the spruce, however the juniper is a close second.
There are 13,293 different animal species identified to be native to the House of Boothby. 5 species are currently listed as “introduced” including: the brown pelican, Norwegian forest cat, rocky sheep, the Barb horse, and deerhound.
The use of natural resources is not heavily regulated by the government, but citizens enjoy and respect their land.

-The juniper is the national tree and the only tree that is excluded from logging or timber production. The utilization of juniper berries for gin production is permitted by the government without the need for licensing.
-The killing or use of the national bird, the brown pelican, has been outlawed.
-The killing of Norwegian forest cats is outlawed, but they are often kept as pets. This law was put in place to honor the House of Boothby mythology that teaches the Norman people are descendent from the forest cats (Current House of Boothby DNA studies have proven this to be false).

Along with benchmark civil rights the House of Boothby allows its citizens a great deal of economic freedom. Income tax is a flat 6%. To gather additional funds each governmental department accepts donations at the discretion of each citizen. Current census data reports that on average house holds donate approximately 4% of their annual income to health care, 6% to education, 5% to military, 1% to domestic police, 3% infrastructure and 3% to transport.
