Geography
Dherka-dherkastan is a large, inland country with the exception of two coastal areas. In the west, an outlet to the sea is located at the Bay of Martyrs and in the East, A thin strip of land follows the coastline around the Dherka Gulf. Central Dherka-dherkastan is extremely mountainous while the bulk of the nation is desert wasteland. A small amount of agriculture is sustainable along the Dherka Gulf and along the Al-Aqsa river valley.
Industry/Economy
Dherka-dherkastan is a petrolium rich nation, crude oil production and refining are the primary industries of the nation. A small amount of argiculture goes on, primarily farming dates and olives. Dherka-dherkastan has some of the largest desalinization plants in the world, turning sea water into fresh water.
Leading Imports include: foodstuffs, machinery and weapons
Leading Exports are: petrolium products, fresh water and terror.
Government
The Mullah is an absolute ruler, who has a council of advisors known as "The Supreme Islamic Governing Council". The Council is filled with Imam`s and radical clerics. Dherka-dherkastan is governed by Koranic Law and is inforced by an all-powerful national police force, The Koranic Guards.
Military
Regular forces of Dherka-dherkastan number around 50 million. Most of these forces are in the Dherka-dherkastani National Army. The Air Force numbers around 100,000 and the Navy around 500,000.
Para-military forces number around 25 million.
These include:
Revolutionary Guards, 15 million with air and naval assets.
Hezbi` Al-Dherka Martyrs , 2.5 million.
Al-Dherka Islami Army, 2.5 million.
Al-Qaida in Dherka-dherkastan, 2.5 million.
Dherka-dherkastani Muhjihadeen, 5 million.
Unknown number of terrorist sleeper cells worldwide.
Revolutionary guards are considered para-military only because of their training, all other para-military groups are volunteer armies raised by local Imam`s and recieved some of their training in terrorist camps in Afganistan before the U.S. led invasion in 2001.
Dherka-dherkastan`s forces are armed primarily with Soviet-Bloc equipment.
