Eastern coast of Greal

As the TPF forces were attacking the Greal naval fleets of the west, some Greal naval fleets slipped into the Eastern waters of Greal. The massive naval fleets combined into one dangerous foe, but they did not do a thing, Greal had already surrendered. A new Imperial Republic had replaced Greal's current dictatorship government. It was a begining of a new era for Greal, a dangerous era.

Around Greal, people were talking of overthrowing the TPF army that was coming............

Sasha, Greal
Over the course of two weeks or so over 200,000 troops had been deposited on the coast of Greal and they had begun to work their way inland. As they came across Greal military units, they collected their weapons and took them to secured armaments dumps so they could one day be used for Greal's new army. The military established secure firebases and logistical bases in the countryside. TPF soldiers also moved into the cities, where they declared martial law and ordered a curfew at 8:00 at night. They made sure to establish secured forts in these cities along with checkpoints.

Regular patrols began inside these cities and the countryside, usually consisting of VAE armored cars and Leopard fighting vehicles. Helicopters with their air calvary troops also began regular patrols, troops also began to search suspected areas where weapons were hidden from the now defunct Greal army. All in all TPF meant to be a friendly, but alert occupational force until proper elections could be held and until, of course, TPFian corporations bought up most of the mines and factories.

General Eckheart was in overall command for the occupational troops for both the military and civilian personal. He agreed to meet Raul Riddle the following day at Fort Liberty in Sasha City.

Sasha, Greal

Raul Riddle was nervous, he was not like his great father, Will Riddle. Though, Frank Jackson was next to him in a limo heading to the fort. They were escorted by 20 Police cars along with 10 Republican Guard cars. As the convoy proceeded to the Fort Liberty, the streets were empty, a few Greal troops kept order in a city of over 160 million people. Even a Nakil tank sat nearby guarding the convoy. 30 minutes later the convoy arrived at the Fort Liberty.

Aust City, Greal

Inside the city of Aust were Pro-Dictatorship Greal troops hidding around the city, they hid in basements and the tunnels of ther Greal Defensive line. slowly, but surely, 10,000 Greal troops were hidden in Aust city, even though the TPF army had 200,000 men, it would be hard for them to patrol a country of over 1.6 billion people.

Fort Liberty
Fort Liberty was surrounded by a large circular perimeter of barbed wire, minefields, and machine gun posts manned by soldiers. Helicopters were constantly landing and taking off from the landing pads inside the Fort, including the fearsome Bellicus and Gecko gunships. The convoy carrying Raul Riddle had to pass no less than four checkpoints, being searched each time for bombs on their vehicles. Eventually they entered the base and were escorted into one of the buildings they had commandeered for the HQ and were led to a conference room where Eckheart and several other soldiers sat, including a Doomani.

As Raul Riddle came into the room with Frank Jackson, he could see a couple of men at the conference room. Raul was starting to get nervous as he entered the fort, by the time he entered the conference room, he l;ooked like he was about to faint, but he did not. Frank Jackson was plainly worried about Raul and his father's new government.
"General Eckheart, I am Frank Jackson, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and this is Raul, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs."said Frank Jackson calmly, he had done this dozens of times.

Conference Room
" Very well. My name is General Eckheart, the other men's names are not important for you to know. Take a seat." Eckheart was not a pleasant man, and he had been beaten by his father into his teenage years. He had been in the army ever since he was sixteen. Eckheart's face bore many scares from combat operations and he walked with a limp from wounds he had sustained in combat. He was a strict commander, not tolerating even slight breaching of rules, but he was also competent. Behind him was a large map projection from Greal. Standing up, he began. " This is Greal as you are aware. We have around two hundred thousand combat troops in your nation excluding logistics personal. With them we have over 500,000 or so. More soldiers can be deployed as needed within hours, in fact via airlift. We also have two fleets still offshore, the rest have gone home. We also have all the aircraft wings originally deployed here. Your government is the interim government until elections can take place, we want these to happen by the middle of next year. Your government forces are allowed to be armed, but not with any heavy weaponry. Any tanks, large caliber artillery, IFV's, and etc are to be turned over quickly. Then you are to assist us in the fight against any insurgency. For every one death of our troops we will imprison or execute ten of your civilians. Starting with men, if it continues we will raise the quota and include women and children. This is not barbaric, if no soldiers are harmed there will be no reprisals. We are here to help, any citizen may ask their local commander for assistance and he will do the best he can to help. Curfew is at 8:00, no exemptions. Breaking this rule once will see you in jail for three days, twice for a year, and three times and you will be executed. Each family is allowed one rifle or sidearm. Being caught with anything else is punishable from five years in prison to death. Freedom of speech and press is allowed and encouraged, but any violence will be dealt with severely. Any questions?

Raul absorbed the words slowly of the general slowly, Greal could wait until the TPF army leaves before it rearmed iuts army.
"Question, does the PeoplesFreedom's army leaves Greal after the congressial election? The Presidential elections were held last month, but Sarah Watson won, then she resigned, now my father is in charge, since he is vice president."asked Raul Riddle carefully, he knew that the TPF army would have no reason to stay after the election.

Greal

The Congressial elections were soon, 4 mmillion police officers plus 2 million volunteers were ready to guard the poll stations from any violence.

The 5 main Political parties were

The Democratic party - A Pro-Democracy party, a also a pro-TPF party

The Republican Party - Most of the party's members were former Dictatorship officials, the Republicans are also pro-Watson.

The Freedom party - the only ally of the Democratic party

The People First party - an ally of the Republicans

The Green Party - a "neutral party"

" There will be new elections. The current government's officials are not allowed to run for re-election. We will also leave when we deem it is the right time, but it will likely be after the elections are done and a few months thereafter."

"Another question, most of us have recently taken over the old government official's jobs after you invaded, do we get a chance to be reelected?"asked Frank Jackson this time. Raul Riddle kept his silence.

"Thats all we have to say."said Frank Jackson, then he and Raul Riddle left the fort in the convoy.

Car

"Now what?"asked Raul Riddle?

"We wait until the TPFians are gone." said Frank Jackson

Aust City

A former Dictatorship Colonel was walking down the sidewalk along with a couple of former soldiers. He still had his weapons hidden somewhere at his house, his name was Frank.

Frank was walking around the city, gathering up veterans of the Greal Dictatorship army. He managed to gather up a couple hundred, he planned to get rid of the Republic as soon as the TPF army left, though he needed a plan. Frank was a wealthy man, so he had plenty of money to buy weapons from arm sellers. He had a private army, but he was not the only one, his friend Daniel had a private army of 800 men.

Greal

The Congressial elections were organized and ready, 1.1 billion people were eligible to vote for 5 main political parties.

The Congress Election

The election was over, 900 million people had voted.

The Following number of seats in the Senate were 560.

The Republican Party: 187 seats

The People's First Party: 201 seats

The Democratic Party: 72 seats

Freedom Party: 68 seats

The Green Party: 32 seats

The People's First Party-Republican Party coalition won big in the Congress. They had a Two-Thirds Majority to remove the President now. The Senate President is Sam Watson, a cousin of Sarah Watson.

Greal

And so it began.

Sarah Watson was injured by a bomb blast that destroyed her car. Later, another bomb blast killed a Republican senator. There was a rumor saying that agents from the PeoplesFreedom blew up the Senator and Sarah Watson, which, caused outrage throughout Greal. Many people were tired of the PeoplesFreedom occupying their country many people were left jobless from it.

It began in Sasha, 10 million people protested around Sasha calling for the TPF army to leave Greal, they also called for a better government. Police officers that usually watched the protests did not show up. some even joined the protest. Former Greal troops fired their guns into the air, calling for a new better army. Around Greal 140 million people called for TPF's army to leave Greal. Fort Liberty was about to be surrounded by 1 million people......

The entire 200,000 man force in the nation of Greal was on high-alert. All ground patrols had been called off for the time being, while aircraft and helicopter patrols continued. Factories that had been established by TPFian corporations were being protected by hired mercs or soldiers dispatched to protect them. These factories were now the largest employer of Grealians in their own country, and every day more mines and factories were being established for Grealians to work in. This would help to better the economic situation in Greal, in the meantime several of the high-interest loans were canceled so the interim government could have more leeway.

In the meantime there was the worrying fact that ten million citizens were now protesting in and around Sasha city. They were in fact on the verge of rioting, and police troopers were nowhere to be found. Orders were dispatched to the Greal Army to break up the protests but the soldiers did not know how effective this would be. In the meantime there was little they could do but sit in their firebases and wait for the protests to end.

Only a thousand Greal troops arrived at the protest, They did not know what to do, if they started shooting into the crowd, it would be suicide. The protesters continued, their numbers grew to 12 million. Traffic came to a standstill. Some dead Foreigners were found on the street, one of them from TPF. Some of the Greal troops joined the protesters, the ones that were Pro-TPf fired into the crowd, 5 people died, a dozen more wounded. The protesters enraged went after the soldiers, there were too many, the Greal soldiers bolted for police helicopters. Cars were smashed in front of the Fort, even some Greal former soldiers fired at the Fort's walls.

With millions of protesters now nearing ever closer to the minefields that surrounded the fort, the order was given to destroy the protesters that inched ever closer to Prussian interests. A flight of two Zeus bombers flew overhead, and began to drop four hundred five hundred kilogram bombs each, they contained nearly fifty gallons of napalm to douse the protesters in. This simple act would kill thousands of them, and the rest were likely to flee. At the same time the loud cannon shouts began to sound from inside the firebases, as they fired "beehive" rounds more than sixty kilometers away. These round contained thousands of small tungsten balls that could easily kill or severely maim the protesters, this would also likely kill thousands more. All this would likely cause a kill count in the hundreds of thousands, and this was a mere one tenth of a percent of the total firepower in the area.

Thousands died, woman and children laid dead on the burned out streets, the rest ran back to their houses. The Greal troops nearby were enraged at the sight of the dead children. But there was nothing they could do for now. The Greal Congress met and passed a resoultion 560-0 demanding that the TPF army pay for the damages. Greal civilians were crying or running off from the fort. But the rest of the country went on, enraged by the killings of a protesters peaceful demonstration.

Northern Greal Mountains

It was freezing, winter had put more snow in the north then rest of the years combined. In those snowy mountains, a Greal army of one million waited. During the TPF invasion, Greal troops quickly moved into the north. They were heavily armed, and had all the ICBMs of Greal hidden in the tunnels of those mountains. Along with tanks and fighters hidden also. The Greal army was also hidden.

They had been there for a week now, they heard about the killings down south. They had to do something.
"Gentlemen, what do we do?"asked general Heart to a crowd of soldiers under the mountains.

"We fight!" was the answer.

"So be it."

OOC: I just wanted to see your response to my Congress resolution anyway, gotta go, I'll back back in a couple o hours.

Sattelites orbitted above, watching the situation unfold. They were armed sattelites, but they weren't firing anything. Just watching.

At The Spire, the footage was on massive screens in the Sattelite Floor. GRIFFITH-II was called to the floor to observe the events in Greal.

"Course of action sir?" said a young operator sitting at a computer.

"We will wait. We will wait and see what happens. If Greal stands down, so be it. If they rise up, we aid in some form."

OOC: I would suggest posting your opening moves with your fores since my men are just sitting in their bases.

TPF Military Headquarters in Greal

Using the relatively constant chaos that was created by the heavy-handed tactics of the TPF military to suppress any and all major protests by Greal civilians against their occupation, border control via major ports was rather shabby. Hardly anyone cared about one ill-dressed fisherman who dropped off his boat in one of the major harbours and didn't return to it later. There were, after all, bigger fish to fry.

The man changed clothes and took care to buy a new black pin-stripe suit from a now rundown store for high-end tailoring. He paid in hard cash, which undoubtably raised eyebrows but he hardly cared. The small, concealed metal briefcase at his side was all he needed to worry about.

By late morning the next day he stood outside the main TPF military attache headquarters. A pair of guards eyed him warily as he approached, small briefcase in hand. He was tall and had a very athletic built body, his blond hair was combed and oiled backwards giving him a sharp look which was only increased by his ice cold eyes. He stopped in front of the guards.

"I wish you to take me to see General Eckheart. I've private business with him," said the man. He said it in a tone that was very use to command, and getting was he asked for. The guards were slightly taken aback. "If you will hurry. I've no time for idiots such as yourselves. If you need confirmation, hand him this."

The man handed them a small business card. It was plain except for an image of a silver striking hawk and black text beneath it that read 'Empire of Thrashia: APOC'.

OOC: Alright, TPF has asked me to take a look at this, and I'm seeing a few things that I would consider problems.

Alright, this part about a "peaceful demonstration" conflicts with an earlier post of yours.

Alright, clearly here, you state that the protesters end up killing foreign citizens, and are attacking a base housing troops of the occupying power. Both of these things are generally considered to be a bad idea. Another issue is that clearly, the troops loyal to the interim government were incapable of holding back the masses, forcing the hand of the occupation forces to act.

Were this truly a peaceful demonstration, there wouldn't have been people killing foreigners, or shooting at military bases. Once you're armed and attack a military base, the term "innocent civilian" no longer applies. It may be unfortunate that many thousands of people died who did not actually participate in the attacks which other protesters did, but by associating themselves with the instigators, they're getting involved in a really, really bad situation.

Fort Liberty, HQ
One of the guards, a hulking black man, took the card and looked at it. "Hey, Dave, come over here." Dave was one of the military policemen that guarded the HQ, and he was known throughout the company as a smart man in current events. He lumbered over, adjusting his sunglasses some.
" What'ya want, you negro?"
" This dude, here, he says he wants to see Eckheart. Gave me this." The black man gave him the card.
" What the fuck, APOC? They were rejected (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13427898&postcount=29) by APOC. This bozo is evidently a fraud." The black man was obviously peeved, and he quickly took the man's hand and held him with a chicken's arm, while the other guards took his suitcase and escorted him to the brig. He'd have some fun with the Doomani interrogators.

The man was starting to get a headache the moment the two imbeciles opened their mouths. The exchange was short and the small card obviously had no effect on the smarter of the apes. The man grabbed at his newly tailored suits forearm and turned, attempting, apparently, to drag him off to some holding area. He didn't have time for that.

With a twist of his arm and an outward kick at the back of the man's knee, he brought the bigger man down with ease. Before the other could react with anything but a small gurgle of surprise, a nicely placed round-house kick to the throat incapacitated him and laid him to the ground. Another quick turned and a smooth movement of the hand and a pistol barrel was being pressed into the skull of the man who had tried to take him away.

"My name is Major Ernst Hylum of the Waffen SV. My time is a rare commodity and so is your life at the moment. If you're so well informed in current events you would know that the Empire has not yet been either rejected or accepted into APOC. The title was meant to get your superiors attention and allow me access to speak with him. Now, if you want to live past the next five minutes, I suggest you radio for your superior to take me to General Eckheart now."

Major Hylum stood up but kept the pistol carefully aimed at the guards head. He kicked the man's weapons away and handed him a radio.

OOC: There's still room for us to come in and buy up a bunch of old state-owned and/or private Greal companies, right? The country needs its share of black Vetalian limousines...

Somewhere in Stoklomolvi

"Greal and The People's Freedom are fighting over something."

"Greal? 歌日尔? Stoklomolvi is allies, yes?"

"Nah, we're not. Let's keep an eye on them with our satellite."

Deciding that it wasn't going to be easy to convince the guard or even the men who were just now bringing the muzzles of fixed machine guns at him to let him through, Major Hylum decided to give it up. It seemed obvious that his superiors had not briefed him carefully enough on the Empire's diplomatic standing with the APOC alliance or else he would have been given entry to the general. Throwing the pistol onto the ground the major stood up and walked away from the gates. Once he reached the streets and alleyways he disappeared.

No one noticed a ragged fisherman sitting on the docks waiting to board a ship home.

OOC: Vetaila, there are 2 gigantic Greal companies in Greal still. Look Inc. and GRANT Inc. They both have private armies numbering 300,000.

Northern Greal

A small column of troops numbering 1 thousand marched south. They made themselves look like homeless civilians, which was common in those days. The column was unnoticeable, even on satellites. They were among thousands of men marching south doi that had no jobs, some of them were going to the Look Inc. factories in Aust City. Others were involved in the protests. The column reached Sasha city after getting a train ride to the city. They split up into groups in the city.

Meanwhile, during the protests, the Greal Congress began organizing the Presidential election. There were 3 Presidential candidates in the election, 1 chosen by the Republican-People’s First Party coalition. 2 others chosen by the Democratic party, and the Green party.

The Republican and People's First Party candidate- Martin Watson (Cousin of Sarah Watson) Gary Jackson as vice Presidential candidate.

The Democratic Party candidate-William Vucer and as vice presidential candidate- Sara Quite.

The Green Party candidate – Grant Yurts and as vice presidential candidate Justin Hughs

The Protests seemed to calm after the announcement of the candidates.

We appreciate your allowing us to expand into your country. We will arrive in a week with the first supplies and managers to begin hiring local people for the labor.

Fort Sunder
Several thousand man now prepared to exit the fort and head towards Look and GRANT Inc bases around the country. The occupational authority had issued a proclamation banning all private armies, and now they intended to enforce it. More than sixty thousand troops were preparing all across the country for the main offensive.

Flying over 30,000 feet in the air, a flight of seven Blackadder bombers approached the capital city of Sasha with a deadly payload. Their job would be to decimate the factories were weapons were being produced for the private armies. The corporations had not asked permission of TPF to begin constructing weapons and this was becoming a habit that TPF did not intend to continue. On the ground were several TPFian commandos armed with laser designators who were standing on a sandbagged roof near the factories. As the Blackadders started the attack vector, they men targeted the factories. Each Blackadder let fall two 2,000 pound laser-guided bombs. Those would decimate the factories.

Captain Murray watched as his Leopard Armored Vehicles advanced towards a Look inc. base. 2nd Brigade of the 21st Marine Division would be engaging the base, where at least 5,000 enemy troops made camp. They were supported by Panther II tanks as well as artillery and several flights of Cardinal fighter-bombers. As they approched the enemy base the Marines dismounted and took positions around the base, covering any roads or fields where the enemy could escape from. Colonel Schultz was here himself, observing the assualt from a circling Bellicus transport and attack helicopter. He issued a final warning over the radio, ordering the corporate forces there to surrender or be destroyed. Everybody waited, tensely.

At the same time 2nd Brigade prepared for the assualt, dozens of other formations surrounded and prepared to attack other corporate bases around the country. Some bases were also set be completely destroyed by Zeus bombers accompanied by ASF-70 fighters. Each Zeus could hold well over 150,000 pounds of bombs, and the Zeus' prepared to drop their payloads of HE, Cluster, and napalm bombs on enemy bases. The attack was set to begin at 8:00 if all corporate forces did not surrender.

During the "attack" Look Inc and GRANT Inc. were having a meeting on whether to have a military alliance, when the first bombs began blasting the factories, they allied, now the combined Look Inc. Grant Inc armies numbered 1.4 million men, including Logistics. The Look inc. CEO Authorized all its gold to be stored away. GRANT Inc did not do anything, yet, all of GRANT Inc.'s weapon factories were yet to open, they were going to ask permission of the TPF army, but now their uncompleted factories were being destroyed.

Look Inc whoever was one step ahead of GRANT Inc. they completed the factories and even used Lyran SAM systems to protect them, which immediately began firing against the enemy bombers. Look Inc. fighters took off from its privately owned airfield outside Sasha. Look Inc employees immediately were evacuated underground, safe from the bombs. Some of them watched the bombs blow up their uncompleted missiles. Look Inc. F-22 Raptors and F-35 Lightings were ready, they began firing their missiles at the bombers, the key was to let the bomber be distracted by the factories. A Company of Look inc troops were assigned to kill the TPF commandos.

One enemy base near Womer did surrender, it was hopeless for the 1,000 man garrison because they were not ready for a bombing. As the 8:00 deadline drew closer, Look inc fighters took off from their air bases around Greal. The 800,000 strong Look Inc force was ready to fight to the last man.

Northern Greal

General Heart was siting in his snowy headquarters when an aide came in.

The bases were wiped out by combined artillery bombardment and bombs. some survivors poured into the tunnels, an sealed the tunnels before the enemy could find out where they were. the tunnels went deeper and deeper into Greal until they reached a maglev system. Look inc. fighters went off to fight the enemy attack on the Look Inc airfields. Lyran SAM sites were modified to be protected against enemy missiles, not only that, they had DMG Firestorm missile launchers and Sentinel SAM Launchers to fight against the enemy aircraft. Look Inc. F-22s and Vipers and F-35s were carrying modified air-to-air missiles that had long range, so as the enemy began firing against them, the Look Inc fighters fired back.

Look Inc. troops were also hiding out in Hotels owned by Greal companies and also hiding out underground. Look Inc CEO Nick Saller called for the bloodshed to end, he said this was no a way to establish a democracy in Greal. The Greal Congress also echoed his call, calling for negotiations between Look Inc and TPF. Look Inc accepted the peace negotiations call, and also waited for TPF's response. Meanwhile Greal ex-government officials used this as propaganda saying that TPF had attacked Look Inc for its massive Gold vault.

Traffic again thought Brad Delvos as he sat in a limo, heading to Fort Liberty. He had talked with Raul Riddle a hour ago about the fort, and what kind of checkpoints they would go through. He was the vice CEO of Look Inc,. he had held it for 5 years. The Vice CEO of GRANT Inc. was Sarah Lustin, though she was in another limo in the long convoy. What do these PeoplesFreedom troops want? No more private armies, ha! Who is going to protect our headquarters around the world? Watching the major events going on involving the enemy, TPF, and the once-allied Greal, fight until either side has been diminished. Leocardia needs to step up for their little brother, Greal. It has been known that TPF and Leocardia had once gone to war, and it ended up nasty. Leocardians rebels in Greal, once deployed underground for purposes in the past, assembled together in an underground hideout. The rebels, who were once deployed for the purpose of trying to overthrow the Red Skulls Government, now assembled and decided to reactivate the deactivated military bases of Leocardia-occupied Greal.

Messages were sent to the LMOCC, Leocardian Military Operations Command Center, and had been authorized to initiate an 'open war' on TPF. 345,000 Leocardian soldiers are to be sent to the deactivated Leocardian military bases in Greal and provide personal defensive measures for Greal. No further action has been planned to provide offensive weaponry or attacks on TPF so far.

So, these people think they already won. We still have 700,000 men left, they haven't even wiped out a majority of that, half of them are overseas though.

The Leocardian forces arrived stationed at their strategic bases, protecting all of Greal around it. Although, the terrain was not recognizable, due to the new soldiers in the area, but the Leocardian forces were trained for these types of conditions. The newly updated radar brought scanning for TPF forces to another level, and DEFCON in the area was shifted to 1. All forces of Leocardia were ready for any trigger.

Patrols were sent out, usually 10 men, larger then that might be noticed by the TPFians. The patrol went out into a forest on the border, and spotted something.
