A Dangerous Speech (OPEN MT)

IC:

San Diego Presidential House,
High District, 1530 in the afternoon.

President Macked, stood to give his inaugural speech on the balcony. As the crowd cheered, he spoke in the microphone, and said "Hello! I hope that this year will be as peaceful and successful as the last. The last year, I was not here. My predecessor, John C. Arnold, however was, and he made a lot of changes that benefitted us all. As such, I requested that he be my vice-president, so that he can advise me on what to do."

There was a murmur in the crowd, and he said "We've gotten reports, of the Khilistanian Militia starting up a revolution in the province of Nevada, Henderson City to be exact. And, I have sent a message to the troops, take no prisoners, for they do not have mercy on their prisoners. We have seen what they do, beheadings, torture! It's not a pretty sight, and they did a death march last year!"

He moved his hands to a screen showing a picture of a mass execution of Calizorinstanian prisoners by Khilistanian troops. He said "In that regard, we will have no mercy, vengeance is mine saith the Lord."

President Macked announced "In honor of the deceased President Jack R. Arnold, we are naming one of our current ships, the R.C.S Mira Mesa, to his name, it will now be the R.C.S Jack R. Arnold." As he stood, there was one man down below that did not like what he heard.

It was a rich businessman, Richard Raymond Smith, head of Mango Software, a large software company that did business with the government. He wrote on his Palm Treo "Execute Plan M", and when the hacker on the other end of the conversation received it, he began hacking at the computer systems, of the various nations embassies..

OOC: Now, you can RP your embassy in Calizorinstan getting hacked by this hacker, and it'll eventually turn into a revolution, with Rich Smith as the head of the rebel faction.

OOC: He's a Bill-Gates type millionaire, he's bought out several small Calizorinstani-electronics companies, and he envisions taking over the leadership from Macked. I am planning him to start a small revolution, buying merc troops and airplanes, since he has plenty of money, money is of course no objection.

OOC: Got it, then I shall be supporting Macked.

IC:

Security at the Soviet embassy in Calizorinstan was... light, being in a friendly nation made having heavily armed soldiers and powerful computers a waste of the tax-payer's money, and the goverment didnt want to waste the precious, oh so precious money.

Still, the Soviets were not stupid enough to let their systems open, maybe others did so, but not them. Therefore, when the Calizorinstani hacker tried to access the embassy's database, he was quickly located and purged of the system, the only thing he managed to hack was the guard's bathroom's shower.

It was preocuppying, the proper Calizorinstani authorities would have to be notified.

OOC: I hope this is okay for a start, let me know if you want me to change anything.

OOC:It is fine, one of the guard's will start searching for the wireless transmissions..

The security guard to the right of President Macked got this message, and he quickly started scanning the crowd's wireless transmissions to see if there was anything suspicious. He found a Windows Mobile 6.1 Treo 750 transmitting, or trying to hack into the embassy servers.

The guard quietly scaled down the wall, pulling out his Colt 1911A2 and quickly went into the crowd.

The hacker, was sitting on the side, trying frantically to get into a nation's embassy, and then he saw the guard! He quickly shoved the Treo into his pocket, just as the guard said "What's on that Treo son?" The hacker, attempted to leap over the wall, only his jacket caught, but he went down on the other side, right into the waiting arms of two policemen..

As soon as the embassy got news from the bust from one of their field agents in the crowd, the ambassador called President Macked's office and arranged for a meeting ASAP, there was something he wanted to discuss.

President Macked got the message, and he walked down the street to the TWSP embassy, which was nearby. He always kept a firearm in his pocket, this time he was carrying a shortened 1911, a double action one.

He always tried to limit the amount of Secret Service Agents around him, for it would attract too much attention for his own good he thought. President Macked finally arrived at the TWSP embassy, and knocked on the door.

OOC: I'm rusty, so I hope this is ok...

IC: The computer bleeped and the attendant swore. He swung his chair and began frantically blocking off crucial systems. A number of anti-hacks, firewalls and IP trackers would distract the hacker, while all off the most important information was sealed off. The hacker was then quickly purged by a more experienced operator.

The embassies chief diplomat, Johnothan 'Swift' Smith, was ordering a number of things at once. Traces, phone calls... He pointed to one of the telephone operators and told him to inform the Calizorinistanian authorities.

IC:

President Macked got a message from his secretary saying that the Void Templar embassy had been hacked into, and as he sat down in a chair in the TWSP said to himself "There must be more then one hacker out there doing it.."

The hackers back in the MangoSoft HQ were busily trying to get past the defenses of the various embassies, and then they resorted to a Denial of Service mass attack on the embassy websites.

"Damn it!" The operator attempted to break through the hack and reinitialize the web site. Meanwhile, a soldier dressed in black armor, the Embassy guards body armor. Under the red visor, the man smiled. He might get to see some action.

Swift swore, then quickly disabled the hack. Humph. Amateurs. I used to do this for a living. He sent a worm into the website, which would record any edits to the HTML or base code of the site.

Underneath the embassies, there was a man in a dark suit, which had gone into the tunnels discreetly, and when he got word the hackers failed, he started to cut the fiber optic wires which ran underneath the embassies, and soon, the internet would go down in the embassies, and he also cut the power wires, to disable the lights.

The man, when he popped up, was confronted by an embassy guard, so the man took out a silenced Tokarev and shot the guard, and attempted to escape.

Sirens blared and Swift immediately pulled a P90 off a wall. The entire embassy was now on high alert. A trio of guards saw the man attempting to flee and yelled, alerting a sniper who drew a bead on the man's leg. He squeezed the trigger...
OOC: Up to you whether the bullet hits or not.

The man was hit in the leg, and stumbled, and then a man from a waiting car picked the man up, and took him to the car, and the car screamed off. The police cruisers started to give pursuit to the fleeing car.

"Get that SOB back here NOW! If you don't, your all gonna die." He smiled. "No pressure." The security guards scrambled around. Swift wasn't joking. They began to radio the Police HQ, the VT Main HQ and Swift attempted to get through to cars in pursuit of the fleeing hacker.

A computer bleeped loudly, and died. One after another, each machine in the tiny communications room of the large building serving as the Faxanavian embassy in Calizorinstan died. A technician swore, as others frantically toggled power switches. Nothing. 6 computers were lost before a the hacker was booted from the network. Meanwhile, the technicians scurried about, reinforcing firewalls and running tracing programs. The attack was out of nowhere. A relay passed through the embassy, and a second one was sent back to Faxanavia. Something was up here...

OOC: okay for an opening post, I hope.

The car drove quickly off the road, and onto a not well traveled trail that wound up the side of the mountain, Mt.Constantine, and the men hopped out, and went to a deserted cabin, that was the headquarters. They put camouflage around the cabin. and when they were inside, they opened a door to an underground tunnel and when they went down, locked the door behind them.

The hackers at MangoSoft, finally found the IP of the Faxanavian ambassador's laptop, and wrote some malicious code in the form of a software update for the laptop, which as soon as the ambassador downloaded it, would run code that would erase the hard drive, and hopefully overload the system, causing the laptop to overheat.

"They were last seen on Mt. Constantine. The car has been recovered but the men..."
There was silence, then a dial tone. Swift gestured violently at an aide, who yelped and backed into a wall.
"Get the HQ online. Ask if we can search that Mountain. If you want something done, do with it big guns."

The men silently blocked off the entrance to the tunnel and put debris, and a arm from a dummy, painted with blood to look like they had tried to go in the tunnel but were killed.

The two men, one hobbling made their way deep down, and alerted the guards to the fact they were being pursued. The guards at once started to prepare the defenses, like booby traps and such.

A group of soldiers dressed in black wearing stylized gas masks and carrying P90s, flash, frag and stun grenades, arrived at the tunnel entrace. Seeing the dummies arm, Swift chuckled.
"Flash, frag and clear." The soldiers moved into position.
The flash was tossed, blinding anyone inside the tunnel, then the frag was tossed in, hopefully killing anyone or thing inside the tunnel. Then, in a lengthy single file, the men moved in.

However, the guards had long since vacated the upper parts of the tunnel, going down two levels, the soldiers would find men with RPK's and AK-74's lying in wait, not too mention .50 cal positions dispersed throughout the tunnel.

One soldier went ahead on point. He lifted his hand, balled it into a fist and then moved forward. He was torn to shreds by machine fire.
"Frag 'em!" The soldiers tossed grenades at the location the fire came from, ten fire in 3 round bursts at anyone they saw."

Though some were blown up, a man with a RPG came through the confusion and fired one at the group of soldiers, reloading quickly, he fired another one, and jumped back down, as more re-enforcements were pouring back up to fight the group of soldiers.

[OOC: Being in the same region, I would assume that I have an embassy...]

The technician's computer bleeped. When the technician looked over at the computer screen, he noted that his internet connection died.

"Nyuuu! My pr0n!"

The ambassador set foot into the room.

"What's going on?"

"Sir! Internet is down!"

"WHAT?!! Nyuuu! My pr0n!" Fix it now!"

"Yes sir!"

The technician got to work. However, the only two computers with internet access were down. The ambassador quickly got to work using the internal computer systems. He increased the warning level of the embassy.

Everywhere, Stoklomolvi personnel were running about carrying old AY-112 assault rifles from nearly an NS year ago, and backup fusion generators were started in the heart of the embassy on the second storey. Then, a reactor outside of the embassy began sparking, due to its ability to be remotely activated from Stoklomolvi. A technician spotted the reactor.

"OH SH-"

He never knew what hit him.

"Screw it, fall back!" Tossing stun grenades, the men fell back, leaving their wounded. When they reached the tunnel mouth, the men pulled out C4 charges and set them on the tunnel roof, fled the area then pressed the remote detonators.

Now, we dont know who is behind this, but believe me when I say that my goverment is deeply concerned, they believe that a revolution might be brewing here, in Calizorinstan.
