Royal Decree

His Highness, King Simon Harvard announces to the world, that he is seeking a wife for his eldest son, who shall take over the throne, when he dies. He has a few requirements for those wishing to seek his sons hand in marriage. They must be at least 18 years old, and no older than 25. They also must be of royal birth. Prince Tyler, is 25. Anyone interested should reply to his Highness, and then will be informed of what the next step will be.

Adelaide von der Schulenberg was one of the most eligible wealthy bachelorettes in Neo-Ixania; a close friend and confidante of the Empress and a strikingly attractive woman of twenty two years of age. She did not tell anyone about it much but she was interested in marriage and when she discovered the news about King Simon of Kelnoriem's plan to find a wife for his son, she immediately sent a letter to the King in order to establish herself as a suitor.

"King Simon,

My name is Adelaide von der Schulenberg and I am a twenty two year old landowner who is a member of the Neo-Ixanian aristocracy. After hearing about your search for a wife for your son, I decided to ask you if I would be suitable for him. My interests include traveling, art, music and spending time with friends; one of my friends is the Empress of Neo-Ixania. I am interested in meeting your son and hope that you will consider me to be a possible suitor for Prince Tyler. If you have any questions, please do not hesistate to contact me. I have enclosed a picture (OOC: I sent the picture of her to you over telegram) in this letter so you can know who I am if you allow me to meet with your son.

When Adelaide recieved the reply from the King of Kelnoriem; she was amazed and glad to know that she was being considered as an option. She prepared herself for the possibility of being accepted as the wife of Prince Simon; and was prepared to leave Neo-Ixania and move to Kelnoriem. Every day, she seemed to keep an eye on her mail.

King Simon,

Filled with joy and gladness, Adelaide immediately packed some items to take with her to Kelnoriem and got aboard the first plane she could find. Amazed that she was invited; she knew that was not officially selected as the Prince's bride. However, she decided to try to convince the King that she was worthy; though she would respect his decisions.

As she sat on the plane; anxiously waiting for it to land at the airport in Keflavik, Adelaide von der Schulenberg thought about Prince Tyler and what he could be like. "Hopefully, he'll like me." The plane landed gently on the runway and Adelaide, dressed in appropiate and formal clothes, walked out of the plane with her luggage and a smile on her face. "This is Keflavik....the home of King Simon and Prince Tyler."

A limo was waiting for her. It would take her to the Royal Palace, where she would meet with His Highness. Her limo was given full escort through the streets of the city to the palace. It was a very presidential motorcade, even though officially, there was no one in the limo, as she was not officially there.

Adelaide walked into the limosuine with her luggage and looked out the window to see the buildings of the city. She was still anxious to see the King of Kelnoriem and his son. After the limosuine arrived at the Palace, she walked out of the limosuine and smiled at the King. "Your Majesty, I am Adelaide von der Schulenberg. It is a pleasure to be here and to finally meet you."

Adelaide walked into the limosuine with her luggage and looked out the window to see the buildings of the city. She was still anxious to see the King of Kelnoriem and his son. After the limosuine arrived at the Palace, she walked out of the limosuine and smiled at the King. "Your Majesty, I am Adelaide von der Schulenberg. It is a pleasure to be here and to finally meet you."

"The pleasure is all mine," His Highness replied. "Come, let us go speak about your possible future here," he continued as he lead her into the palace.
They reached a conference room, and His Highness asked her to sit. "Now, let us get down to business, if you don't mind. So, now, would you mind if I asked you a few questions?" he asked.

Taking her seat, Adelaide smiled at the King. "You may ask me questions, Your Majesty. I am sure that you want to know more about me; to see if I am acceptable enough to marry your son."

"Father," the man said. "Father, would you tell these people who I am," he continued holding a phone out to the king.
"Not now," the King reply, as he got up and ushered the person out of the room. "I'm busy right now," the King told him, as he closed and locked the door. "Sorry about that, now back to business, where were we."

Adelaide silently watched the man who burst into the room and immediately guessed that he was Prince Tyler. After he left the room, she smiled at the King. "You had asked me what my interests were, Your Majesty. You are at your third question now. Do you wish to know anything about my education?"

King Conrad III of North Braxon, had received the telegram that King Simon Harvard of Kelnoriem had sent out to the world. His youngest daughter was now 24 and did not seem to have any serious relationship for a while, the last time she was seeing someone was 5 years ago when she was 19 and since that time although she had many interested parties from members of the empire wide aristocracy and even a few requests by heirs to the various Blouman thrones she had not shown much interest. The King in hope that his daughter would not become a spinster he quickly sent a message of to the King.

My daughter HRH Princess Kristina of North Braxon Duchess of Mollonga (etc.) has expressed in interest in your son and would like to be able to meet him with your permission. She is 22 years old very beautiful slim with long flowing blond hair, she has a strong education holding a Bachelor of Arts, she is also well versed in court protocol. Some of her interests include travel and painting, she is also involved in humanitarian work working with the homeless and as patron of the North Braxon Society to the Protection to Cruelty towards Animals (NBSPCA). I hope you seriously consider her and if you have any questions about her or aspects of North Braxon royal life please do not hesitate to ask.

In case the current two don't work out, we would like to offer Tiya Lacrim, daughter of two children of two of our senators, as a choice. She is attractive, athletic, intelligent, and polite, and speaks every Romance language fluently. She enjoys teaching, economic, and horse breeding. She would, however, like to meet your son before making a decision. Her claim to royalty is that our nation is really a confederation of several smaller kingdoms- each senator is second in line to the province's throne.

The Boeing 747-400 (The Kings Personal Jet) flew through the sky towards Kelnoriem on board was HRH King Conrad III of North Braxon, his daughter HRH Princess Princess Kristina, his Private Secretary (who would have some say in Prince Tylers suitanbility) along with an entourage of about 90 people which included pages, ladies-in-waiting, sercurity contingent and various assistants with a wide range of titles for different functions.

The King infromed one of his secretarty's to send a message to Kelnoriem to inform them of their impending arrival.
