Questarian Blackadder bombers preparing for transfer

This morning it was jointly announced by the Governments of Praetonia and Questers that a transaction had been made between these two countries to purchase a Praetonian base, I.P.N Northbank, in Central Prestonia, one of two bases Praetonia kept after Prestonia left the Royal Georgian League. Reasons for the purchase of the base were not specified, but Colonial Minister Michael Rodney told the press that it was to "safeguard the security of the Questarian Empire throughout the globe." Furthermore, no price has been specified, but the Colonial Minister has once again stated the the price paid to Praetonia was the cost of transferring their equipment and personnel from one base to another, plus a little extra. The Colonial Minister told the press that this once again confirmed the close state of relations between Questers and Praetonia, as both nations commonly base military units in each others territory and commit to joint training excercises between the Questarian Empire and Commonwealth and the Royal Georgian League.

A.P defence experts have discovered that the Royal Air Force intends to transfer three bomber regiments - perhaps those of the new Blackadder type, plus three fighter regiments and three support regiments to the new base, which is a considerable aerial commitment, as well as a full carrier battle group of four large aircraft carriers weighing about 200,000 tons a piece, plus several smaller carrier vessels. On the land the base will be less defended, but A.P defence experts agree that nothing lower than a brigade will be stationed there. According to doctrine, artillery in isolated bases will play an important part, but more information is not available. Transfer is expected to begin early next week and finish in roughly three months time. No comment was made on the availability of WMDs to the region, which Questarian officials strictly would not comment on.
