The Nosorian Ambassador was excited.Premier Ozzanil had chosen him to represent the nation in one of its first alliance treaties.He franticly went around to make sure every thing was perfect.After he finished all he could do was wait............





(OCC:I hope this is an OK opening.I'm new at this.It's too short isn't it?)

OOC: It is a good opening, my friend.

Albert Baumgarten walked into the conference room with his secretary (his wife) following him. Dressed in the best clothes they could find, they found the Nosorian ambassador and introduced themselves. "My name is Albert Baumgarten; I am the ambassador of Neo-Ixania to Nosorepazzau."

The secretary smiled at the Nosorian ambassador and introduced herself. "My name is Gertrude Baumgarten. I am the ambassador's wife and secretary."

(OCC:I forgot the name of my ambassador so I'll make one)


The Nosorian Ambassador smiled."I'm Lessero Gacren,The Nosorian Emissary to Neo-Ixania".Mr.Gacren was dressed in a traditional gown,somewhat like the middle-eastern style but with light armor and a ceremonial dagger at his side.He unsheathed the dagger and drove it into a table."This is a sign of respect and trust."I'm delighted to meet you".

Albert Baumgarten and his wife watched Lessero drive the dagger into the table and did not panic; understanding that it was a Nosorian tradition. "We are glad to meet you, Mr. Gacren. We hope that this meeting will be productive. Shall we begin our meeting?"

As they took their seats, Albert put his briefcase on the table and Gertrude prepared to take notes. "How does the Nosorian government feel about an alliance with Neo-Ixania?"

"Well,our leaders believe that an alliance has great potential.Nosorepazzau is a young nation and though we are large,there are much more powerful nations.And as you know we have tested our power by obtaining a colony in Central America.It's too late to turn back, with the acquisition of a colony we've already been labeled as an up-rising imperial nation.Our security is now a bigger concern than ever."

"Neo-Ixania has heard about Nosorepezzau's first colony in the New World. We should, I think, increase trade between our colony and yours as the first step to creating our alliance."

"Yes,I was thinking of that,good we've started off on the same page.Another of our concerns is our nation's membership in the Kiravian Commonwealth.So far membership has been excellent.The Kiravians are an honorable people,but they are in the process of choosing a new emperor,one canidate has expressed the opinion that the K.C should be closer to the Empire.My people and the Kiravians are close and that cannot be denied,but culturally we are much different.We have no intent on being turned into a Kiravian province and having our culture replaced.We view Kiravia as a kind of big brother... or ...or..a father to Nosorepazzau,not a ruler.Well,enough about our concerns what do the Ixanians hope to secure in an alliance?"

Albert Baumgarten smiled at the Nosorian ambassador after he had finished talking. "We hope to secure trust and friendship in an alliance, sir; we hope to establish free trade and create an education-exchange program; and we hope to reduce the obstacles for tourists who wish to visit your nation or Neo-Ixania."

As Albert talked, his wife was busy taking notes. "By the way, sir,' Gertrude said with a smile, "I thank your nation for allowing me to use the services of a Nosorian hospital; they were efficient and helpful to me when my daughter was born."

"Auluyr(You are welcome).We are glad that you enjoyed our medical services.We pride our selves on our State of the Art medical technology.Your daughter is the first Ixanian born here.

Back on topic,Nosorian students are very interested in going to school outside of Nosorpazzau,we should defintly instate education and tourist programs between us.

I know this is off topic, but what do the peolpe back home think about a Ixanian being born here?And what'd you name her?

Albert smiled at the Nosorian ambassador. "We can include the creation of education and tourism programs between us in our alliance treaty, my friend."

After taking some notes, Gertrude looked at the Nosorian ambassador with a smile. "The people back home do not have a problem with an Ixanian being born here; I have not heard of any dislike of my daughter being born here. My daughter's name is Giselle, sir. The nanny we hired is teaching her Nosorian and is a great help to us; she always arrives on time. Perhaps, if it is possible, she could be enrolled in a Nosorian school; as part of an education program between our nations."

Albert nodded his head in approval. "Neo-Ixanian schools can accomodate Nosorian students, sir. If you have children, they can participate in the program."

Giselle,E vak aziloe(a lovely/beautiful name).Of course she could enroll in a school here if you wished,my daughter, Lezzensa would love to go to an Ixanian school,the education and tourist programs will look very attractive on the treaty.Your daughter is learning Nosorian hmm?,said Gacren with a smile on his face,our language is not a simple one how is your girl doing with it?

Gracren reaches for a bottle on the table,"Would you like a drink,it's non-alcoholic.I didn't know if alcohol was legal in your country."

"We can arrange for Lezzensa to be one of the first Nosorian students to participate in the program, sir. As for our daughter's Nosorian lessons, she is able to speak basic words and count from one to fifteen. The nanny we hired is a good teacher and yes; alcohol is legal in Neo-Ixania."

Albert and Gertrude both asked for drinks. Gertrude smiled at the ambassador before Albert continue to talk about a sip of his drink. "Do you have any information you can give us on your daughter, sir? It will be helpful for us to learn about her so we can make sure she has a good time in Neo-Ixania. Does she have any health problems or allergies? Does she need assistance in any specific school subject?"

"I'm glad to hear Giselle is doing well with Nosorian!As for Lezzensa she is blind so she gets frustrated with school easily,don't get me wrong she loves learning,but she's often impatient.She went blind when she was 7,she's 11 now before that she loved art,but now...well...

"We are sorry to hear that your daughter is blind, sir. I can arrange your daughter's enrollment into a school for the blind in Neo-Ixania; she will be given the care, respect and assistance that she needs. If I may ask; do you know how she went blind?"

Albert took another sip of his drink. "My daughter has been born without any problems and I think it will be good to enroll her into a school with other toddlers."

Gertrude smiled at Gracren. "If you can give us a report about your daughter, we can send it to the Ministry of Education. They will be able to find a suitable school for Lezzensa."

"Thank you,I'll file a report went I can.",Gacren poured himself a drink and refilled the Baumgartens' glasses as well,then took a swig of his."Finding a suitable school should be easy on bothsides,we both have wonderfully developed civilisations. Well to move on,we should also think of what our alliance will stand for,will it be a defensive alliance or a full military pact,what will be the guidelines.We've already proved that we mutually are interested in more than just a pact between two nations looking for a quick disposable buddy."

"I think it would be good for our alliance to be a defensive alliance which includes the education program, free trade and less restrictions on tourists, sir."

"That sounds good.Very good.We should also hold join military exercises"

"We can arrange military exercises and create trade between our colonies in the New World."

"Our Imperial Socialist Party would seek to use the alliance for conquest,they've already told the premier he could use such an alliance to force Nosorepazzau's way into the Brazil Confrence.Luckily Mr.Ozzanil disagreed with them and said that if we wanted to go to that meeting we would do it peacefully.I hope the ISP never gains control of or government."

"Whether or not that party comes into power is up to the citizens of Nosorepazzau to decide. Our nation is an absolute monarchy with limited democracy. Sir, has your nation sent a delegate to the Brazil Conference?"

No,we currently don't have a delagate at the Brazil Confrence,our politics have been all topsy-tervy since we annexed our first colony.Premier Ozzanil has said that he will ask for a Nosorian delagate to be allowed in but he expects that we are too late an entry.I personally fear that this imperial nonsense will turn our peaceful nation into a monster.Our government is only semi-democratic,Premier Ozzanil makes all of the big decisions,he's a benevolent dictator."

"Do you think that it will be possible to avoid problems in the future? I think it may be possible for you to send a delegate to the Brazil Conference and perhaps you will be able to avoid the transformation of Nosrepezzau into a monster. Is there any other topic that you wish to discuss, sir? Shall we sign the treaty now?"

"I don't foresee problems in the near future and as of now I have no more concerns.I think it's time to sign the treaty."

"If you can give me the treaty; I will sign it for you."

"Mr.Gacren grabed a pen and the treaty,then handed them to the Baumgartens."

Albert and Gertrude studied the treaty for several minutes before Albert signed the treaty. When he had finished, he gave the pen and the treaty to Gracren and waited to see him sign the treaty. "This has been a good meeting, sir."

Bump.

Mr.Gacren began to sign the treaty,"Yes this meeting was a splendid one".Once he was finished Lezzero placed the treaty on the table.

"Thank you for your time, sir. It was a pleasure to meet you. We will make arrangements for your daughter when we return to Neo-Ixania."

"Thank you both very much.This friendship will be a long one.Oh,before you go I've made this package for you.It contains some of our greatest breverages and cuisines,as well as cookbooks in case you wish to make them yourselves."
